One of the top bowling centers we've bowled in and the best in our local area. All the staff we've interacted with are great and the food is really good, too. It's a great place to join a league or play in a tournament at.

Got the kids bowl free pass this summer, and a pass for my husband and me. SO.MUCH.FUN. This summer is gonna be amazing!?????? Update 5/9/2025 Third year buying passes. Each chance we have time to use them, our kids bowl free passes are no good due to other things goin on at the bowling alley. Kinda a bummer.

Recently upgraded the alley. All state of the art. It's beautiful. Clean, and staff are friendly. My only critique is the food, although really good, it was a little expensive. For me, however, that's easily overlooked due to the condition of the alley.

My 8yo son is on a bowling league so we are here multiple times a week. The staff is great and always very helpful. We love doing the Kids Bowl Free for the summer as well, so the whole family can participate.

I took my family to the mountains for New Years. We were fortunate to get a lane on New Years Eve. This location was awesome! They take ur picture for the lane screens and we found that cool. The food was even delicious! Will definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

The atmosphere was rowdy, they serve liquor in condiment dipping cups. Limited selection on beer and snacks. But besides that it it a fun place to bowl. If you ask the front desk, you can even get the speed of your ball on your TV monitor. They also have an arcade in the front as you walk in. They do have a pro shop and they close at 5:00. P.m.

The Host of the Special Olympics for Upper East Tennessee Area 3. There was plenty of room for all the students, and they all received recognition for competing. Volunteers from Brightstar, and Siemens were great. While Holiday Lanes made sure everything ran without issues, or problems. As for Gracie the star of the show she made a few new friends. I usually come once a month with other veterans. Bowling here is great, at the times we come. Usually quiet not a ton people

Very clean establishment, lots of fun and decently priced definitely will be back.

We went today to participate in our schools special Olympics program. We loved the place. The kids had so much fun. There was ample parking, seating areas was awesome. The concession stand was outstanding. The cheeseburger, fries and tea was delicious. The only complaint I could ever have would be the sale of alcohol. This is a family environment and this is a turnoff for me. I loathe alcohol and more drunk drivers on the road. Otherwise though kudos keep up the good work. ??

We had my daughter's 16th birthday party here and it was great! The pizza and cheese bread was great! The staff were so helpful and they were also very patient! She had a blast and we are so grateful they offer party packages! This one was a hit!

$5 dollar bowling which includes your shoe rental.... that's affordable family fun. We love holiday lanes. We visit here frequently. Friendly folks always a great experience. They even got good food too. The nachos is really big and will fill you up. The pizza is good.... They got cold beer. You can buy a pitcher of soda too. They got a robot to deliver you your food. Bowling alley nice, but disappointed with the Kids Bowl for Free program which included a family pass that we paid $40 plus shoe rentals. Every time we went we were told they didn't have any lanes because a league was coming. The place was empty each time. Only got to use it once and this was after pleading to use. Again, the person claimed they didn't have lanes but let us bowl anyway. The league showed up two hours later so we would have had plenty of time to bowl even though told otherwise. We will never

Holiday lanes is the premier bowling alley in Johnson City Tennessee. They have bowling and bowling leagues.

Went there for a good time, The first line we went to broke so they moved us to the second one that one broke as well and they said a technician was coming, but nobody ever came. We waited there for 10 minutes. Then they moved us to the third lane, and we never actually got put on the last line and it was not working to put us onto the last lane either so we just left.

Great place to go and have fun for not that much at all.

Nice clean place to go. Friendly staff, reasonably priced snack bar for food and drinks. Definitely my go to place. It's a bit of a drive for me but worth it in my opinion.

We normally love bowling here however tonight we requested an end lane as we always do and the guy was less than friendly saying they were already reserved. Here's the thing though when I ask to reserve specific lanes I advance I'm told it can't be done not to mention here we are 30 minutes after bowling has started and guess what nobody is on the end lanes either side, so excuse me sir just why couldn't we be on the end lane? I honestly feel like he just didn't want to switch our lanes! Update 48 min late

Since moving here from Philadelphia in November I have been looking for a new Bowling Alley. Glad I found Holiday Lanes. I have been coming here a few times a week for about a month now and I really like the place. Everyone working there is friendly and will do whatever they can to make your visit a good one. Great place for a fun night out. Food available, brought by a cool little robot, and there are also drinks available which was also very neat.

It is easy to leave a 5 star review when things go normal and just as planned. We are all human and mistakes are made by everyone. What is important is how those mistakes are handled after being discovered. The associates and management at holiday lanes are exceptional at handling any situation whether it's an easy as planned day or otherwise. During our visit they went above and beyond for us, all while clearly having a busy night. We had a great time and look forward to our next visit with them.

This place is a blast from the past! I love going bowling even though the highest I've ever scored is 77 pts.

I really like Holiday Lanes. They're snack bar and full service bar is awesome! They have a robot that brings your food to the table! Pretty cool huh? They also have bowling on Sunday through Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 for only $5 per person that includes shoes.

Holiday Lanes has a great, helpful staff. This is a great environment to have fun! There is an indoor grill/food area. The staff/company also helps with handicap or disabled individuals to ensure everyone has a great experience! Just never wall down a lane, you will fall, the staff will retrieve a lodged ball. ??

Took the whole family here for during the Christmas holidays we all had a ball and loved it. We enjoyed the special features like getting to take your picture to put on the screen with when you bowl and how it made little cartoons out of your pictures. The kids loved it

5$ bowling from 9-11 and I think it was 10$ an hour or something of the sort from opening to 4pm during the summer. They even have a limited vegan menu is the grill area! Customer service is homey! Definitely dated on the outside but up to date on the inside! Love this place!

Really clean and I believe they have finally gotten all the smoke out of the building from many years of being a smoke-friendly establishment. The employees were very nice and polite. Food at the bar was decent, well, except the fake cheese on the nachos. $28 for two people to bowl an hour is pretty expensive though. Other than that, I give this place a 4 star.

The staff were very rude and disrespectful. I do not recommend anyone come here. They were discriminatory and hateful. The called me and my friends raciest slurs, screamed at us, threatened us and attempted to assault us. It's not worth your time.

We love it there. The staff is friendly and helpful and the facilities are nice. The kids always enjoy the on screen animations with their faces superimposed. Fun stuff! The food is typical snack bar stuff - burgers, pizza, chicken tenders, nachos, etc., but good for what it is. They make the pizzas to order, which is nice, instead if getting the "heat lamp specials" you usually get at snack bars. All in all, very recommendable family fun.

Awesome bowling alley! I go here regularly with my husband and we always have a great time. Most of the negative reviews I've seen focus on how busy it is and how hard it is to get a lane. There is some truth to these claims. It is a very busy place, and they host many leagues. Plan ahead and make a reservation, and you should have no issues.

This is how valuable customers are at Holiday Lane. We decided last Thursday that we would go bowling. When we arrived they were packed hardly a place to park. Once inside they told us that they were booked up. That sucked but it was understandable so we asked if we could make a reservation for tonight. They said of course so we booked a reservation for 8:30 on New Years Eve. So tonight we arrive and we approach the counter. The gentleman working said that we could not bowl because they booked a last minute

The staff is always friendly and will help with your shoe, ball and bowling needs. The bar is quick with drink orders and the fountain is available with free refills for your soft drink needs. The staff will help setup bumpers if necessary, reset your pins if there's a technical issue and will help retreiving your ball. Kid friendly most nights also. If your interested in getting your own ball or shoes they can tell you where shops are located. We go here to bowl whenever we can.

We never had a problem with this place until me, my husband and our friends went. Overall experience was ok one of the staff members of front was rude to use. Other then that it's okay place to go with family, friends they do have bar which is a plus if you want to drink an bowl.

The past few weeks I've gone every Sunday night around 9pm when they have the $1 game and shoe rental. It's really worth it and the staff is always friendly. Me and my boyfriend usually play 3 games and then play the little game machines by the exit after paying. It's a nice, cheap, even family friendly thing to do on the weekends. They do have a bar so be aware of that if you bring your kids.

Rented two lanes with party of eight. We where having a great time until the kids got hungry & we decided to order pizza & drinks. The young girl working concessions was very inappropriate & condescending. She seemed like she didn't want to be there.. They way we were spoke to for just asking nicely for service was outrageous. When we mentioned it to other staff about it. We we treated the same by other staff members for just asking for pizza & drinks. STAY AWAY.

Staying in Johnson city with family in the hospital and had to get out and destress for an hour or so. Super, super friendly staff, very competitively priced, good people bowling all day. Maybe if you are looking for pretentious cocktail park dressed like a bowling alley this isn't for you (though they do have drinks) like somewhere that rhymes with cowlero, but if you want good lanes at a good price with good people, this is your place

I joined some family & friends for midnight bowling. I arrived shortly before 1am & was quite hungry. Unfortunately, they only serve fried food at night!!! No burger, no patty melt, no pizza... Nothing I or anyone else in our group had any interest in!! There were only 7 of us, but I can't imagine we were the only ones looking for actual food. The lanes break down often and the manager told someone I was with to cover up but not another woman that was showing even more skin. I emailed them and they ignored me. They have no dress code posted anywhere. It ruined the evening and I don't think I want to ever give them another dime they owe us an apology. I encourage everyone to not give these disrespectful people any of your money.

The bowling alley is a little old looking, would be nice if they posted on their website that they have lane maintenance and leagues. We were almost turned away because of these reasons, the people who came in right behind us were. Kinda seems bad for business, especially when I checked the website before going and none of this was advised. We did have fun and will definitely give them another shot but a little disappointed to have to rush through our game.

I had been here been here previously and loved it. But that being said the family an I went on a Sunday. After checking there website to see the hours for open lanes, we decided to go around 1. Especially since league hour where posted for 5-7. But we get there and the have a tournament going on and no lanes are available. We were told to check back by 3 so we did. They said the tournament was still going. We caught them in the lie saying it would be over by 3 for them to say it would be over at 7. Why not

Automated lane controls raise and lower bumper guards as needed by each player; extremely convenient. A great time with the family! A little expensive, but as bowling goes they have up-to-date lanes with current computer systems! I had no trouble with the 2 games we played and every rack was set correctly. The automatic bumpers could be set for individual players and worked as they should for each player. The restrooms & establishment was clean. There were signs and prices for everything in plain view.

Super fun atmosphere, great food and drinks, and great deals on different days of the week! The lanes are great, and the mechanics are on point with stat tracking and fun interactive bowling score sheets, and even photo options! We will definitely be going again in the near future

We went today for my husband's birthday. It was him, me and my 5 year old. My husband and son had never been before. We got there and met the worker jon Phillip which was super helpful. Especially for us definate beginners. Our lane messed up which was no problem he simply switched us over to another lane and continued our game. We were treated awesome by all staff we encountered. This was our first trip but certainly won't be our last.
