We had a good time here. Most games are free. Skeeball and some of the pinball games cost a little. Buy a drink and have fun with the retro games! The facility seemed pretty clean and the staff was helpful.

Stopped by High Score Saloon in Evansville before a comedy show at the Ford Center and honestly? Didn't expect much with just one bartender and what looked like one guy running the kitchen... but it ended up being some of the fastest and best service we've ever had. They were flying around like caffeinated gamers back there. The food was solid, the prices were right, and the drinks hit the spot. This was a super cool bar. I wish there were more bars out there like this to be honest. Not just your typical sit and have drinks while listening to music and socializing. This place had a ton of retro arcade games. Great place to take your significant other or go out with a group of friends.

Came for some good drinks and had waaaaaay more fun than expected. Most of the machines are free play and they have some unique games I hadn't seen before. Lots of more immersive games like Guitar Hero, shooting games, a quick draw game that every arcade enthusiast wishes they had at home and an In the Groove 2 dance game with updated recent music that we played for nearly a half hour!

Stopped in to grab a drink and check out the games, and I was not disappointed. For a small, quaint little bar, this place has a ton of character. The staff was friendly and helpful. The games were a blast from the past, even for a 90s kid. There is nothing better than having a drink and a bite to eat while listening to the sound of smashing buttons and flipping switches. Google maps asked me if high score saloon has changed. And I can honestly say that it has. It's bigger, there is a wider variety of drinks and food available, and while they still haven't brought back to popcorn that's not that big of a deal. I love this place. You can buy drinks and then play arcade games for free. Pinball and skeeball cost quarters but it's worth it. My wife and I love going there as part of date nights.

Love going here. Super cool place to grab some drinks and race down memory lane as you play mario Cart or all the other classic arcade and console games. All are free except the pinball games. Truly a place to enjoy for adults. We got introduced to it back in the summer from a friend of ours. One of the few places in town that you encounter friendliest staff from guy checking ID at door (how often you see bouncers engaged, smiling and greeting people), to bar staff and even people that go there. A bartender who can make a white Russian and not charge an arm and a leg! I love coming here on week nights. "night life" isn't really my thing but I love coming here for a little grub and a beer buzz. The arcade machines are well maintained and set to free play. Had an awesome time here! I sipped an IPA and enjoyed checking out the cool pinball machines, playing Skeeball, and playing Rampage. Unfortunately, we couldn't figure out how to select other 8-bit games from the menu, but we had a good time with Rampage.

If you like old-skool video games and alcohol this place is perfect. Maybe that isn't for everyone, but for me it's pretty cool. They also boast a wide selection of alcohol and craft beers. Neat place, but it's very small, which I think plays into my biggest complaint - there are many great games, but some of the more obvious games from 80s/90s arcades are missing. One of my favorite places in Evansville! I just adore this place and all the staff I've encountered at the old location and new. Always such a great atmosphere. The new place has more space with more seating ? I especially love the bar seating and the additional seating by the pinball. The pizzarito is SO. GOOD. I cannot recommend enough. First visited on 12/21. We had a wonderful experience. The bartender was friendly and helpful. Drinks and food arrived promptly. Games are fun. Great experience. On 12/23 one of the two bartenders snubbed us for 20 minutes before we decided to walk out. They served other people and cleared the persons food next to us without even looking at us. Please I love Burger Time so much I want to cry when I think about it. Also I love the Wheel of Fortune-like game. It is so fun but why is there a sex option??? A very cool blast from the past. These guys have all the cool vintage toys and I love the venues they've created to share them. The collection covers decades of coin operated machines...good diversity, great condition, plus a nice selection of beers and a machine-rolled hotdog warmer. Stood at the bar for 10 minutes trying to get a drink.. it was 3 other parties there waiting with 2 of them arriving AFTER I had already been there. He looked at me, I had cash out so it was a matter of being ignored. The guy decides to serve them both first I guess cause they were regulars. Only gave an extra star cause the guy at the entrance was really nice. I wish he was our bartender! Because of the terrible service I decided to enjoy free games for about 15 minutes before we dipped.

Awesome idea! We went on a Saturday night and we were able to play every thing we wanted with little to no wait. We spent about $40 for 4 drinks and pinball for 2 hours. All things considered it was a great price and I'd definitely go back.

Such a great time and truly a gem of down town. The bartender was super nice and personable, my wife and I spend about an hour just talking to him instead of playing games. But the games were great, they have NFL blitz haha. Definitely made a repeat customer out of us. We just left and are already planning and looking forward on going back.

This place has a great atmosphere. Everyone is welcome....as indicated by the signs on the bathroom doors. The staff is super friendly and nice. They are very informative about the games and will share as much knowledge as you want. One stuff member actually opened up a pinball machine for us so we could see the inside. Very cool. My husband and I had a stellar time here. Loved the Simpsons game and all the Mortal Kombat options. Games are mostly free except the pinballs and some others, which is fantastic. The space is well spread out. The bartender was nice and accommodating, had him surprise me with something sweet, and it was fantastic. We're definitely gonna try to go back at least once a month.

High Score Saloon scores high all around! The very best staff in town. They really do treat everyone like family. First time there, so limited experience review. That being said, it was wonderful nostalgic, had a weirdly diverse selection of beers (in a good way, freaking Bourbon County man, I was thrilled), the pinball is plentiful, and the other classic arcade options were awesome. Came to hang out for a few hours after dinner on a Monday night. There were not too many people there, so my wife and I were able to use any machine we wanted which was nice. The beer selection is amazing. The game selection, as always, is amazing. Being able to hang out, drink a few delicious beers, and play free arcade games is one of the best things in Evansville.

Great place to play classic arcade games and an amazing selection of pinball machines. This locally-owned gem is something that this town has needed for a while. The food is quick, affordable and nothing fancy but a perfect reminder of what our childhood was: simple. I love the fact that it is a bar and you must be 21 and up to go in. I want to enjoy my video games, a nice cold one and some quick food without worrying about fixing up my hair or having to pay a cover.

Man this place is amazing. The atmosphere brings you to a place of nostalgia like never before. The place is very clean and polished! The staff is extremely friendly, especially Laura, who not only brings quick satisfaction but adds to the atmosphere. The drinks were made top notch to perfection, looked as one of the best drinks on main street easily. Really check this place out, you will not be disappointed.

Nice spot, just a bit small. The drink selection was adequate. The drafts were tasty, particularly the arcade ale, but the liqour selection was minimal. They have a nice outside area that has a lot of potential. Also if you use cash they cant track you. Also has a bar that you can drink with a variety downfall is that it is 21 and over so you can't bring your kids but then again who wants to be chasing kids all day when you're trying to have fun it is really enjoyable to play kind of takes you back in time

I have been to a few arcade bars, but this is the best one I have been to. Bartender was friendly, the games are free, and it being Sunday it was not busy at all and we were able to play whatever game we wanted. No loud music so I was able to have a conversation while playing Bust a Move with no problem. We will come to this bar everytime we visit Evansville for sure.

This is one of my favorite places in Evansville. If you love old video games and beer then you must go. They also have a wide selection of pinball games. The pinball machines do cost, but all of the other games are free. You won't find dinner here, but they do have snacks like popcorn.

One of the best things to happen to Evansville. The owners,management and workers are absolutely fantastic. They wanted a place to keep it real. The atmosphere created is way beyond the average arcade. The only thing that costs is food, beer, and pinball. All reasonably priced too!

Fun place! I don't drink alcohol, so when my friends suggested we go there, I wasn't sure what to expect. As a sober person, nothing's more annoying than a drunk. Haha But, the atmosphere is really laid back. Of course, it is a bar, but people are more interested in the games than getting drunk. There's a lot of awesome arcade classics. Came here for the first time with my buddy for his birthday. We played a few rounds of Mario Kart 64 and Super Smash Bros at the bar. We played all of their pinball machines and beat the TMNT arcade game. I had a blast, and he said it was the best birthday he's ever had! The bartender said they were trying to start an "all ages" place, which would be awesome because I kept thinking how much my son would love coming to a place like this.

Smaller than I thought it would be and overpriced watered down drinks. However, the concept is pretty cool, and the atmosphere was really laid back. I would be willing to give it another fair shot.
