Really knowledgeable people, lots of crazy cool old stuff to buy and see. Got a guitar hero controller for PC there for a decent price. Love this shop!

First time visiting Hidden Gem Video Games yesterday. Have to say I was so surprised by the fair prices on the titles. While I understand that boxed games are gonna cost more, this place seemed to at least try to be as generous with the price listings. I was assisted by Riley who was extremely friendly and helpful with all the questions I asked them. It was also nice to talk to someone who knew so much about games. I got my copy of Elden Ring and plan on returning to this shop again soon. Highly recommend

Great shop for video games, big selection for multiple gaming units as well as gaming units. There are 2 PCs to rent by the hour to play games. Owner was very nice, come support local small businesses. We will definitely be back. I enjoyed playing the free Pac Man/Galaga while my daughter picked out a game to purchase.

Lots of awesome retro games, friendly owner, and knowledgeable staff. The amount of selection they have available in-store in retro video games is amazing ? also Pokemon cards. Had an issue with my Bomberman N64 and they fixed it the next day.

They are my number one go to store. I've been coming here for a while now. I've bought a ps2 from them that was in amazing condition. Every games I've bought enough from ps2 to game cube to ps1 have all worked with no issue. The guy that's there all the time is friendly and always amazing. He answers any questions I have.

Great service! 10/10 would recommend and come back again! The owner was friendly and kind. We visted another video game store in Long Beach, called Gameplay. they unfortunately sold us a video game that was scratched and completely unusable. Hidden Gem Video Games restored our game cube disc for only $4! The owner was very kind and restored our game! he even tested it out for us and it worked! We are so thankful he was able to restore our disc and provide great service!

This is my local store since its so close to me. Very chill, very cool. Got some cool stuff inside. Great service as well. Had some really rough gamecube games that needed resurfacing and Punky was super helpful and got those games looking better than ever. And the most important thing is they work!!!!! All those games were non working!!! Thanks again!!!!!! If you guys need to resurface your busted games take them to Hidden Gem, they also have top notch cleaning machine ELM, it works wonders!!!!

Small, great looking store with a good selection of retro games and collectibles. Not everything displayed is for sell. There are pinball machines and pc?s available you can rent to play on. The owner is friendly and helpful and has great knowledge of geeky things.

I've called several times different days they never answer their phone. Been there before nice store but most of the time it's empty so I don't understand why they never seem to have time to answer the phone.

I want to thank CJ at Hidden Gem for always taking care of my retro gaming needs. I purchased some hard to find items like the ones in the photo. They have great Nintendo switch drift repairs and gameboy Sp reshells that come out fantastic! I would definitely recommend this place for all retro game lovers. I visited this place recently for the first time after learning of it from the "Mort's Garage" YouTube channel. This place is awesome! It has a great selection of games from various eras and the staff is great! I went there with the intention to look around and maybe pick up one or two games but I ended up spending almost $200 on a stack of NES and Game Gear games. I don't usually write review but my first time here and out of the video game stores I've been too this one stood out to me. Recently visited again and came into the store looking to sell/trade in some old games I had, the owner took a look at them and offered a fair price for them. I got store credit for the games and starting looking for something to buy I bought 2 xbox games for the price of 1! And I should mention that according to the owner the said that store credit never expires so that's a plus. And shoutout to the owner, such a chill guy and cool person. Will definitely keep buying from here.

Came here for the first time last week by randomly searching on google. The store was incredibly clean and tidy, well-stocked, and very organized. I spent a good amount of time walking around and owner was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. will be coming back!

Great selection, excellent atmosphere, all of the games seemed to be in pristine condition, and service was the best I've ever had at a game store. You can tell the people running the place have been in the business for a while. It was spacious but not barren, affordable but not lacking in big ticket items, and most of all just a pleasant place to be. Definitely one of the best retro game stores I've been to.

This place is a throwback gem with a modern day twist. Great selection to look through. Rare games and an amazing selection of systems. Some Pokemon card games, many action figures, a verity of accessories for gaming counsels. A fantastic place to look for gifts for the kids or a collectable for yourself. I stopped by this place yesterday just to check it out. I'm glad I did. This place is very inviting and has classic arcade and video game systems you can play with. So far they have been very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I look forward to a return visit.

CJ and Punky are such great people here. they sell refurbished retro consoles like the gameboy advanced or nintendo switches and they look almost brand new and work great. they also replace gameboy color and advance batteries save batteries too with high quality maxwell batteries for just 13 dollars !

Great store to hang out and buy games. From NES games to PS4 games and there's so many options to choose from. You can buy plushies and some clothing too. You also get to play Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga for free which is my personal favorite.
