Customer Reviews

I came here as a kid. Now I bring my kid. They maintain their lanes well, though the building is old. They participate in kids bowl free (summer program)

Good times!! We we're visiting family and had a great time here. Kid friendly with a tucked away full bar!! Place was busy, yet service was fast for refreshments etc. I even bowled a 193!! Highly recommend this spot.

Selected this bowling alley after reading reviews and them being mostly positive on customer service and well kept and working alleys. We were not disappointed. The alleys were well oiled and polished. The score screens worked well. We arrived around noon and even with a bowling league taking up half the lanes we had no wait to get a lane. The ladies bathroom was very clean and happy about that. The whole place was clean in fact. It was Halloween and they had decorations out which was nice. We will come b

Pros: love the atmosphere, truly brings you back to the liminal spaces of the 90s. Great selection of food and drinks (alcoholic and non) + they let you drink while bowling (which not all places do). Lots of lanes open even on a Saturday and super quick in and out. extremely friendly and helpful staff. Jared at the snack bar was an absolute fave, such a great service and so friendly. Also love the different price structures (open bowl pay per game per person and hourly for a lane) Cons: multiple people got

Love this place. Great parking. Decent area. During the day, awesome for kids and families. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Lanes are in pretty good condition. Great to get out if the house on occasion and have a bit of fun.

We had a fun family outing here. While it clearly hasn't been updated since the 90s and that was especially evident in the arcade area, we had a great time and it was a fun flashback to be in an environment like that. Lots of lanes for bowling and we didn't have to wait for one to open up.

My family and I had a great experience at Hermitage Strike and Spare. The facilities and restrooms were clean and well-kept. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There is a snack bar, full restaurant/bar, and an arcade. The prices were very reasonable. We will definitely come again.

I was very surprised at how fun this place was! They have great food, amazing drinks and the staff has always been super friendly!

I experienced gun shot around last November -ish and someone got killed in front of my eyes. Can't believe the security level of this place. Bring your kids if you want them traumatized for the rest of their lives.

Be careful here, I witnessed an employee taking pictures of someone inside of the Planet Fitness next door from the outside of the bowling alley. I'm not sure what his intentions were but it seemed extremely creepy to be snapping photos of someone inside of the business next door (especially a gym) from the outside.

Our 4 y/o granddaughter had her birthday party there. Our attendant was extra awesome. The kids had a super great time and the adults were happy to be there. Which is completely awesome for adults at a kids birthday party. My granddaughter elated, shouted "this is my best birthday ever". We were absolutely blowin away by our attendant. I can't say enough good things about her.

The pro shop staff was very nice, helpful, and efficient. I went to get a bowling ball drilled & they seemed pretty busy but they made sure customers were taken care of while moving quickly. I would definitely come back to them if I needed anything in the future!

I got two balls so I might as well use them. I went for cosmic bowling for the first time last week. It was fun but prefer normal bowling hours for better scores.

We celebrated my daughters 10th birthday here today. I will say we had fantastic service from start to finish Young kid Michael was a trooper dealing with crazy amount of kids, taking tickets, starting up the games and flying solo. But party was good, host was great, food isn't terrible. It's a bit pricey but that's to be expected for a birthday party with a big crew. I would recommend coming here for a kids bday party. And the bowling is fun too

This is an excellent example of a bowling alley. It has all of the required bowling alley materials. There are balls, pins, shoes, and beer. All the things! They did not make us exchange our shoes which was a lovely gesture. We did the all you can bowl for $8.50 per person. What a steal! It was not very crowded at 3pm on a Friday would highly recommend going at this time. The entrance to the bowling alley is legends #protip

We went wed after 5 when it was 2 dollars a game, the shoes are 4 something for rental. We got there right after 5 when the deal began and they were not yet too busy. I am guessing they pile everyone on top of each other for a reason? We bowled one game had 2 slices of veggie pizza and some fries, and a drink from the bar. We did play on more game and overall had a nice time. I enjoy the fact that It is so close to our home and everyone was very nice.

This is a super clean bowling center in great customer service! The staff and management do a great job! They have leagues for bowlers of all experience, regardless you're a beginner or a long-time bowler.

I give it 4 stars for bowling ONLY. The food I give 2 stars. It wasn't good at all and the bathroom needed cleaning really bad. We order sausage and mushroom pizza. Once it cooled it was terrible. The philly cheesesteak was dry. The cheese fries were cold. The buffalo chicken tenders were ok and the funnel cake sticks and churros were ok. The onion rings were ok as well. We had fun bowling. The only thing was they grouped everybody together even though they had plenty of lanes open to spread groups out.

It was my 1st time there. Lines get a little crowded but definitely not a bad 1st experience. Started playing a league for the 1st time and lines were ready to go as we got there. No hiccups No complaints.

Clean, friendly, staff is always willing to help you out. Food is great.

We went here for a birthday party. Everything was perfect. The kids had a lot of fun and the bowling was fun too. The facility was. We'll definitely be back.

Arcades are ?? a scam at a dollar a pop. Do not recommend taking your kids here to play. The people that work the Bolling are rude. This I a way over priced place now. Last time I was here my family spent the whole afternoon for 100 bucks. I spent over 300 for 2 hours. I'd do something else next time!

Had a great time with my 2 sons! If I had to find fault, the popcorn buckets are shaped weird and are inconvenient. They don't hold much and the popcorn spills over the side. Not a big deal, but if the owners/managers are reading this, please take note.

I had my hubs birthday get together here! We had pizza, soda and they even gave us a bowling pin and a t-shirt. It was so much fun to be with the family and really having a blast with each other. This is a great spot to celebrate any occasion. It didn't hurt that I got 6 strikes in a row either!

If you're looking to spend some quality time bowling with your friends and family, this place makes for a great place to make memories. Good music, good lanes, good people.

Great place to bowl and have fun with family. Fries are really good, every time my family and I eat them they are gone in 3 minutes. Highly recommend.??

My kids were cold there, only complaint. Goodtime and memories made. What it's all about.

Great experience and the food will catch you off guard. Way better than expected.

Bowling was fun and affordable. You can pay by the hour or pay by the game; shoes were free to rent. Very clean facility, & friendly staff. They have bowling, arcade games, and food. Their chicken tenders were 10/10, but their fries are trash??. They serve beer by the glass or by the pitcher, and also have kid friendly drinks/food as well. At 9PM they turn off all the regular lights, and turn on the black lights and the DISCO BALLS. We had fun here!! Very family friendly. They play good music, its all the e

Needs a remodel/upgrade, but if you want a step back in time, this is the place.

Loved it nice older bowling alley with good lanes and nice people!

Love the summer program "kids bowl free" you get 2 games of bowling, but be aware it's not totally free. U have to pay for shoe rental (like $3.50 each). You can also get an arm band for unlimited bumper cars, laser room and light tag race for only $5. My kids love the game room but quarters go fast.

Hung out with my boys here. Lots of things to do. Fun place for sure.

Had a blast with my grandsons 5th birthday... Staff was good with our needs.. Be back for sure...

Great bartender... fun atmosphere... expensive tho..$61 per hour on a Saturday night... not even cosmic bowling..

Great fun and environment. Had a good time with my son.

Decent bowling place, normal prices. Has a nice bar and menu.

Best fries at snack bar

I love bowling here. It's a new thing I've been trying out. The place is clean and the staff is great. I think bowling is currently underrated, it's never super busy.

Officially went for a job interview, ended up staying and having a Liquid Marijuana, Cowboy Burger, Fries and a Coke. Bartender was nice. Good conversation and personality. Staff was pleasant except for the person taking my order. She was a bit rude and didnt seem to want to be there which she later openly confirmed to me.

Not a great bowler, but do enjoy bowling. I asked for bumpers after already paying over $40 for two people to bowl, and they said that only children under ten can use bumpers. Way overpriced and charge extra for EVERYTHING. Very outdated but new age prices.. 38 cents for a very small cup of ranch from the bottle.. despite the fact that we payed for an hour, we left after a game and a half because the place overall was not enjoyable.

Worst place ever... nasty shoes, rude employees and managers... limited operations.

Great time but very expensive.

My husband and I had a great time. We went twice in one day! Just a good time!

My husband loves to bowl. I enjoy going to watch him and eating while we are there.

The bowling alley is clean and the screens worked the lanes worked. So we usually have a great time going there. However the last time apparently was an off day .. not a lot of customers.. and there were some employees who seemed to decide they wanted to just play music for their own enjoyment rather than that of the crowd. There seems to be a playlist going that was fun, upbeat music you would expect to find while bowling. It enhances the day. Then you could tell that a song would start that apparently the

Walked in on a Saturday night, got a lane. Most their shoes are in great shape. Had a hard time finding a 15 lb ball but it was fairly busy. Pitcher of Miller Lite was $11. Plenty of staff. Lane neighbors were all nice. Just a great place to bowl!

I was there for a company outing. All the games worked. The staff was nice. Everyone was expected to adhere to the company's code of conduct (really nice!) I'd definitely like to repeat the experience. We had a catered lunch that I assume was prepared by Kroger. Burgers, fries, salad, fresh fruit and cookies. I know the fruit tray and cookies were Kroger. It was good.

Everything about it was decent, with the exception of the jukebox. I paid for 3 songs and didn't know I had to pay additional to make them priority. I never heard the songs I paid for played, and we stayed until just about closing time. So if you choose to put money in the jukebox, just make sure you pay for priority (an extra $1 per song) so that you get to hear your songs.

Easy to access. Plenty of parking.

Love this place!! Whenever the father of my 5yr old daughter, (whom I co-parent very well with..) & I get the opportunity we try to get together & do something fun & memorable for her.. & at the same time we enjoy ourselves too. So far we've taken her 3 times. It's both kid friendly as well as a great place for adults to go hang out, chill, have a drink..etc. There's so many other great parts of the bowling alley other than just bowling, there's a spacious bar area, & a good sized arcade area with alot of t

Whole family had a good time. Forgot how much we missed bowling.

Very nice lanes!! Nice atmosphere!!

Always have a great time when I'm here. Staff are friendly great to be with. I haven't tried the food offered here so I can't comment on that. Lanes are always very well maintained along with the balls and shoes. This is a great place to go with friends and have fun. The price is slightly more than other places in the area but is made up for the cleanness and service.

I want to start off by saying well worth the money. If I lived in the area I would only eat their pizza! I love pizza and very picky. I ended up taking a whole pizza home because I ordered to many for the party. The next day it tasted just as is it was fresh made and that's coming out of the microwave. The bowling was good. I would recommend paying for unlimited bowling. All in all it was a great experience. I have been here since I was a kid so if say 20 years since I've been here. Now the arcades I'd prob

Had a great time for nephews birthday party. Great place for a party. The pizza was good, everyone is nice. The kids can run around and burn off all their energy. The games area is nice as well. They have a lot of games to pick from, even bumper cars. Kids can win tickets for prizes. Has a lot of fun, will go back for sure.

Always great fun. Clean and nice staff

Had a good time here. Had to wait a really long time in line which is why I gave it 4 stars. The customer service was average but nothing special. The place definitely needs some renovating as it feels like you're entering into the early 2000s when you walk in here.

The staff were professional and helpful! We were there for a friend who had a cancer survivor party and had a great time. Thanks for the memories and for your friendly workers!!

Great family fun for a reasonable price. Went out with a friend of mine and had a blast. We didn't try any of the food but the staff was helpful and attentive to our needs. Will definitely go out and bowl again soon

My son went here for his birthday on New Year Eve. They were offering a special and they were practicing CDC guidelines. They children had an Amazing time. The food is good as well there.

First time there and I really love it. I'll definitely come back here more often

Absolutely the worst, most unorganized bowling alley i have ever been too. Walk in to see 40 people either waiting, or in line, and ONLY 3 LANES WERE BEING USED. So I asked if there was a league or party. I was told "no just short staffed". There are 40 lanes!!! Come on! No wonder so many locations shut down! Will never return! If you are upper management for this business, you should probably do more work, and play less golf!!

Never had a long wait to bowl. Bowling is great. Bar line is kind of slow not the bartenders fault. Just an old system that owners are too cheap to update. Will say tonight older cook lady came out of kitchen raising her voice at bartender and customer. The bartender kept her cool and continued doing her job. Good employees, systems just need updated, and that lady in the kitchen does not need to come out into public and does not need to talk to the bartender like that in front of customers

Great Staff! This Bowling Alley is very nice and has the best tater tots ever. Get the large size, but on Fridays the kitchen doesn't open till later in the evening.

We had a blast that was the best first date ever

We had my son's birthday party here and it was great! Bowling, Bumper cars, and a fun arcade area. Reasonable prices and lots of fun. It's hard to see the sign from the road so look for the Planet Fitness sign as you mark for where to turn in.

I had a great experience there, the lanes were well maintained. Had some hiccups with the system, had to reset a couple of times, but they are acceptable as the staff was helpful, it happens everywhere. Only thing is that they have lesser balls with less weight, so girls in my group couldn't enjoy to their fullest. Although they played really well even with the heavy balls. Anyway, would recommend this place to everyone!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The staff here work at a snail's pace, they don't care how long they make you wait. There are not a lot of choices in ball sizes and most of the balls have dents. It was very hot and most fans were turned off. The beer was flat and tasted watered down. We were extremely disappointed in our experiences and will not go back. We would never recommend this place to anyone.

Overall decently clean. Food made to order and quite tasty too. Most of the games are very stingy with tickets...frustrating for kids playing and parents spending $$$. Kids look forward to cashing in tickets for cheap prizes. Bowling alley side clean and working properly. Always enjoy ourselves when we go.

This was our first time to visit. We had a large group so we had two lanes. On lane 7 we had keep using the reset button. Since we paid by the hour we lost some time due to that. It was very clean and a good family place. We will visit again.

Cool place to bowl but Don't waste your money at the bar the drinks was straight juice.. The bartender sucked really bad!!! I asked for 2 Long Islands & it tasted like she brought me 2 Amaretto sours.. Next time I will have a drink before I get there

Great people, Awesome times. The manager is a certified coach that led several high school teams to state championships. Mike Lamb is the best lane man in the business. Great place

The staff are always kind and friendly. Is a warm and welcome in environment for your family.

First time we had been bowling in years. Was a fun night but service was terrible (not their fault). There was one bartender working, we'd wait 10+ minutes to get drinks, she was very nice and working hard. We asked about ordering food and she was honest and told us we'd be better off going to the food area to order as it would take less time. When we got a bowling lane, we had issues getting shoes, they lacked enough shoes in average sizes. Not a terrible place, but could be so much better if they staffed

Overcrowded and understaffed. Wait time was 2 hrs for bowling so we bought the kids wristbands so they could play while waiting. There was only one attendant working all the stations so we were constantly waiting and they kept the walking a mile without saying anything. They had stopped taking orders for food due to the backup of all the previous orders so we had to wait an hour to just to even order food I felt the pizza was overpriced even though it was delicious which is the only reason why I'm giving th

Had a great time with my daughter. Always loved this place when i was a child. I still call it Hermitage Lanes

Bowling was great. The drinks from bar were good. Now the snack bar was a whole awful experience. Half of the group ordered then the other half was told no more orders for 15 minutes, turned out to be closer to an hour.

We had a lot of fun! The bathrooms were clean, they have a jukebox (touch screen), and several little arcade games for other types of fun. The restaurant seems like it would be good, too.

Bowling and arcade was fun...food..not so good. Food came out super quick but order was wrong. The cashier accidentally rung up buffalo wings instead of barbeque. The woman in the kitchen was not too pleased with her and proceeded to give an eyeroll to us. One minute later the cashier brings the wings out...the lady in the kitchen clearly just smothered barbeque sauce over the buffalo sauce. Shame on them because clearly they were too hot for a 6 year old. Loaded potato skins and fries also were dry and see

I've gone here for years and I have always loved it! Such a friendly staff, good prices, and a clean facility! Go check it out! Also, check out the league offerings and see if there's one that you may like to try!

I've been here twice with family during Christmas weekend and for a corporate event. Both visits went extremely well and we had fun!!

My daughter and friends had a great day at Strike and Spare! The staff is great and the place is very clean. Mark and Jessica stole the show going above and beyond to make our visit extraordinary! Thank you!!!

One of the places we go when we are bored, and are never disappointed! Fun and friendly service, and great for keeping lots of people busy for a few hours. Would recommend it if you need a new place to visit or are just bored!

Poor customer service from the time of entry until leaving. Walker" was very rude and confrontational towards my group. he then disappeared for over an HR shoes piled up on the counter. His co worker Carissa however was very helpful and courteous. They do need security in this establishment some of the other bowlers threatening people over sharing bowling balls smh this is only my second time there and I'm not a happy customer.

Had my sons 9th birthday party there. The party hosts Vickie was sweet, friendly and accommodating. However, she was double booked and the 2 other young ladies behind tbe counter were very reluctant to help tbe party guest and come to find out, one of them was actually a manager. I think with a little bit of ownership involvement this place would be awesome! My son had a great time.

Absolutely love this place..they hav the cleanest fun center ..pool tables were great food wasn't bad at all pitchers of beer $13.00 the Buffalo wing well done were terrific ?? kids had fun bowling been back 5 times already I know it's a nice weekend go too alil bit of everything for everyone/ ????

Stay away from this place run by kids. Show me why two games and two shoe rentals is 29.93 and I'll change the review to 5. First kid put in the price of 19.83 and then another came over and whispered in his ear that it should be $10 dollars more. Paid 30 bucks for two games and two shoe rentals with no explanation as to why the price jumped. Shady

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
