Super fun place! $5 for all you can play. Lots of popular table top/board games and arcade games such as Super Smash Bros and DDR, pinball machines, and any console you could think of. Lots of space to hang out at as you enjoy bar food and drink options! We enjoyed our experience!
Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. They have a wide selection of games and the staff will kindly explain everything. The general manager is super friendly and the vibe here is relaxed. I would suggest having hand sanitizer and wipes at every table though because most of the controllers were pretty greasy. I'd also like to see some more vegan and vegetarian food options on the menu. Otherwise great place to hang out at.
I LOVE this place. My inner kid is nostalgic here with all the old school video game systems, the excellent selection of board & card games, and the d&d vibes in the back room. The drinks are great and creatively themed, pizzas are great. $5 gets you in with unlimited games so it's a fantastic spot to hang out with a group of friends. I'm a big fan of this nerd bar (I have always been a nerd lol) so it's great to have a place focused on gaming rather than the club like bars around Wichita. This place is a g
Friendly, knowledgeable staff, decent food, and a killer atmosphere. Great place to unwind with your wife and kids on weekday night. Grab a beer, order some pizza, and hang back while your kids play the arcades, spend some energy on the dance pad, or try out the newest mario game. Relive your childhood memories with friends on their dedicated Smash bros console, or just play some pool. Plenty of events if you are into the nerdier stuff like warhammer or card games. They even host d&d sessions. They have a
I come here frequently with my friends and I will continue to do so. The selection of boardgames is the biggest I have seen and they have tons of video game options too. There is room to play with large groups of people and smaller groups of people. You can bring your own games to play as well. Every person who works here is a dear. I have been here probably 10+ times and I have NEVER had a bad experience with service. Everyone is friendly and fun. They have great suggestions if you are struggling to find a
I have sampled this place a few times. the weekend and weekday vibe are very different. Very busy on the weekend, and not as busy on week days. They try to do events to bring in crowds, but if you go in on a Wednesday and are there for something else, the event is very loud and you can barely hear other people at your table. The food there is the worst slop I have ever had at such a establishment. I couldn't find a single thing I liked. while it is edible, I have no desire to order food here after sampling
We always enjoy coming out here! It is great to have somewhere in town where we can get out of the house and still have a good time without A. Spending loads of money or B. Being in a bar/club with high chances of problems arising. The huge assortment of board and video games can keep you, and your friends, entertained for the evening. The management is always available and is obviously a great leader, they can be seen running food, taking orders, and checking on the customers constantly. The food is akin t
I had my bachelorette party here and we had a blast! Great service from friendly people and we loved the variety of games here. Which we could have stayed longer!
Horrible experience from the moment we walked through the door. Took a party of 16 people here for my birthday because I wanted a particular drink they have. Thought it would be the perfect place because we had two 10 year old boys in our group and they wanted to play games while the adults sat and had a drink. We walked in and told the man at the front register we would like to pay for the 2 boys to play? he instantly had an attitude and made us feel very unwelcome. He told us in a very rude manner ?if one
Place is amazing! My son wanted a game themed bday party, so I took him and 5 of his friends here because it's only $5 a head for unlimited game play. Talk about affordable and fun! The staff were supper patient with the group of 9/10 yr old boys and all their requests to change up games. The burger I ate, was delicious and not too pricey!
We've been here a few times, and really enjoy it! There's an ample selection of games, and plenty of places to set up shop with a group of people. The food and drinks are really good, and the workers are all accommodating and helpful. It's a nice change of pace from a normal night out, which is why we like it here so much. Highly recommend coming here for a fun game night with friends!
A great Saturday night escape for both board gamers and video gamers. I highly recommend their deep-fried mushrooms. Staff is awesome on recommending new drinks or beers to try.
Food is really good for the price, and the staff is always checking on you in case you need something. It is an awesome place to just hang out with some buds (or solo) and play games. Also I like the store in the back, it's cool. All I got
I came with my 2 year old son and was charged the $5 cover. Shortly after sitting in a guy came up saying how I didn't pay for my son and I explained nobody told me there was a cover charge for him he said I was being charged because my son picked up their controller so I told him I would have him out it down and he said no because he picked it up I needed to pay for him when they other employee had already explained there was no need. When I asked for the manager he said he was the manager and preceded to
While I get that this is an arcade bar, the amount of unattended kids the last several times I've gone in who are shaking pinball machines or just roaming to other people's tables (including my own to beg for food) is weird and unsafe with the amount of unattended drinks sitting around (as people get up to grab new board games, play pool or whatever else). I enjoyed the space a lot prior to covid, but their business model seems to be shifting from gaming/nerd bar to normal sports bar with video games. The
The person who booked a party we attended accidentally made the reservation incorrectly and a LOT smaller than it was meant to be. All of the staff effortlessly served us and made our very large group feel comfortable even though they were caught off guard. The kids had a blast and the employees made the experience SO fun and engaging for them. A big shoutout to Headshots for going above and beyond for our group.
Maybe a good business but certainly a bad DOORMAN. I am a 6-star google reviewer, and the reviews I have written for businesses over time has had over 184,000 views. I have never written a bad review. I walked into Headshot Arcade with a friend. The doorman greeted us nicely and asked to see IDs, which my friend gave. He asked to see mine, I told him I didn't have it on me. He asked where it was?I told him it was in the car but he can have a good look at me and tell me if he thinks I am over 21. Now, coul
I took my kids in for a couple hours so we could play some old games together. They have every game system, so you can have them change out the games to whatever you want. It's not expensive, and your time is isn't limited. The people that work there were very helpful, and nice too.
Very chill place. Attended a well-run MtG event. The game selection, video and tabletop, were wonderful. Supplies on offer were exactly what you needed. Food was wonderful and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!
Long time patrons?when we asked our Son where he wanted his birthday party, no hesitation, Headshots. The experience did not disappoint. Amazing service, atmosphere, and food. Thank you all for a great experience!
My family and friends visited Headshots last night, hoping for a fun and relaxing evening. Instead, we found ourselves trapped in an absurd, dystopian board game dictatorship. Upon arrival, a staff member?who I can only assume moonlights as a medieval tax collector?greeted us with the unyielding decree: "If the kids play, Everyone plays!" I tried to explain that only my grandson and his friend wanted to participate, while the adults were perfectly content spending a small fortune at their bar. But the staf
We have been 3 times, all three times we have paid the $5 cover for all you can play board and video games. We reserved a TV and couch for a party of 8 and had a good time for a Friday night. They have a huge selection of video games. Extremely friendly staff. They are knowledgeable to help set up any game, or if you need suggestions for a game.
Guy at the entrance with a bald head and a mario hat was super passive aggressive. Gives major creep vibes and freaked my wife out. Great vibes for a gamer but the food is mid and the staff lacks social skills.
Absolutely love this place, the customer service is top tier, the food is great. Best place to unwind from a busy work day, spend time with friends, loved ones. Will be going back, can not recommend this place enough!
Phoebe done amazing at her job making sure we were taken care of, she does an amazing job at checking in with the customers and if they need anything. James does an amazing job at his job making sure everyone is taken care of. This is from the time we walk through the door to all questions are answered.
Absolutely loved it! Played board games, video games, and had an amazing time. Drinks and food were delicious! I will be coming back again and again!
Fantastic overall experience. Courteous and knowledgeable staff that paid great attention my groups needs and requests. Prices for food and drinks were very reasonable. Very cheap admission price to play any game available in their stock. Calm environment, more relaxed than I had expected. Keep up the great work!
This is a regular hangout for myself and friends. Unlimited game pass is only $5, and they have daily specials on food and drinks! They have pretty much any game imaginable, including video games, card games, and board games. The food is ok, but the fries were over cooked last time I went and the spin dip was not as creamy as I had hoped. But it's good enough. It's always a fun time, and I have made friends there easily!
Headshots is the best place in Wichita to hang out and play games! The food is great, the staff is super friendly and accommodating, and there's so many games to play and events to attend. Highly recommend!
The doorman asked for IDs for me and my 12yr old, when I informed him she was a minor (she doesn't even look close to having an ID yet) he asked for just mine. $5/person just to enter the place on a tuesday when it was practically vacant. Got my daughter a sprite (shows as $2.99) for a total of $16 just to walk in and play at a table in a space that was almost completely vacant and a spirit is insane. I'll never be back.
Wonderful staff. Man in the Mario hat was super high energy, constantly checked on us and explained everything. Even showed us amazing new games!
We've been here a few times. They have never disappointed! The staff is friendly even when they're packed. It can get a bit loud (which I don't mind). The food was delicious and their selection of board games is awesome! The back room is really cool and is a lot quieter than up front. Highly recommend!!
Last month?s visit still sits as a sour taste in my mouth. My sister-in-law?s 30th birthday request was a few rounds of shots with friends + fam after dinner. Only 4 members of our 16 had been here prior (two being kids and ?before the rule change? no less.) Upon entering we had a very brash greeting with the fellow up front. Perhaps it had been a rough or busy day for him hence the attitude but we happily showed ID and easily made our way to the back despite the attitude. The two kiddos in our party wanted
Chris and Company took excellent care of our bday boy for his 37th! Thanks so much for the fabulous service!!
Staff is nice, place is clean, no issues with anything... Except the food. Pretty sure their burgers are straight to grill with no seasoning at any time. I mean no seasoning at all, in any way. Just need beef. Y'all can invest in some Montreal steak seasoning I know you can. I'll be back but I'm eating beforehand.
Just wanted to check out and see what this bar and grill was about. I was totally disappointed. My partner and I just wanted to check out the food and hang out we dont drink, we dont play video or do board games. We did pay the $5.00 each for what I dont know. Our pizza was so salty. I dont know if it was the sauce or cheese or the meat. It also was burnt and it taste burnt. I brought it to staff members attention. I was told it was brick oven pizza with 700 degree oven. It is considered charred. No apology
I'm trying to venture out a little in Wichita a little more and decided to try this place. Jason the GM was extremely hospitable and the service was excellent. The servers even offered to give me a tour. The food was really good and the place was very clean. Great selection of board games and they have my fav...pinball machines. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back.
Absolutely amazing. The food is really creative. The consoles are from all over the gaming era, it's so versatile. Not once have I gotten bored here.
Headshots is one of the best places to chill in Wichita. I do think they have the best platform to continue to serve the community, and build a bigger presence.
So fun to have a gaming bar like this! I love bringing my Guitar Hero set up and having the employees play it with me!
Amazing place to go for nerd hobbies. Staff are friendly and the food is great! Monday night paint nights help me get through my pile of shame lol!
?? A Hidden Gem for Gamers and Fun-Lovers Alike! ?? This place is an absolute treasure. From the moment you walk in, you can tell they've got it all figured out. The service? Top-notch. You can tell management hand-picks their servers to be the best?friendly, knowledgeable, and just as passionate about gaming as the guests. The food? Delicious and creative?a perfect complement to the experience. But let's be honest: the real star here is the games. And when I say games, I mean GAMES. ??????? Board games?
Good drinks, food and atmosphere. Also a great little tabletop store in the back. This place has it all. Highly recommended.
I always have a great time at Headshots! it's the staff that makes it great. large selections for video games and board games. Oh! and don't forget the Trivia nights on Wednesday!
I traveled to wichita for archaeology work. Found this gem looking for video game bars. They have board games too. A full service bar and food. Some delicious pizza and great selection of beers on tap. I brought multiple groups of other archaeologists as a group outing. We had a wonderful time playing board games. Ask the manager about his gaming trio set up! He is super informative and you can tell he loves his business.
This place is so awesome! My friend introduced me to it and I'm so happy he did! It's a super chill vibe where you feel like you can really just relax and enjoy yourself. The staff were all super helpful and friendly as well. The drinks were great and reasonable. I can't wait to go back!
Delicious food and amazing service. They were knowledgeable and more than willing to help get us set up to play. Tons of games and different consoles. Enjoyed the local roastery coffee while my hubby enjoyed one of the 24 beers. Love this place! Definitely coming back!
This is the best date night place. I love the variety of games. The food is always delicious. I always leave happy.
The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't have yugioh cards other than that it was a great place good food service was excellent definitely will be back next time I visit
It's a pretty cool place I enjoyed the vibe. Foods great and being able to play boards games while I drink is huge
Didn't try the food, but had fun with a tournament. Everyone was friendly, and it was a good first experience.
Incredible atmosphere and wonderful people as well as great food!
I come here regularly with friends awesome atmosphere, good food drinks. Would recommend.
I tend to go there often for Warhammer games with friends. I enjoy the place for the atmosphere and pleasurable experience
Great atmosphere nice business concept. Wonderful and helpful staff food was ok except for the fries. The fried mushrooms were excellent and the burger was good. Overall I would go back.
Loved our first visit. We were here for 3 hours. Great food, great drinks, great beverages. Amazing selection of board games, video games and food. The staff was also amazingly friendly. We will be back.
Great atmosphere! The owner is super cool! Playing warhammer with the boys 10/10
A great place to play games, visit with friends and/or chill. Tasty food, clean, fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Try the tailspin sandwich with bacon, it's my favorite! Finish the meal with the cinnamon sundae for a delicious treat too!
Look they gave me the most adorable cup for an espresso shot. It was so tasty! The service was great. The pizza was wonderful. I just found out they host Birthday parties. I know where I'm planning my next party.
The man up front gave excellent insight into the workings of the place, overall a wonderful experience for my girlfriend and I.
Excellent food and drink selection. HUGE selection of games! We went when it was fairly busy, but never had to wait to play the game that we were hoping to play next. Will definitely be back.
What can I say about James the hasn't already been said about Brad Pitt, he is as courteous as he is handsome. 11/10
Headshots is AMAZING!!! The family loves coming here and they made my son?s birthday an absolute blast!!!! ??????
Super friendly staff. Go out Of their way to find the game that you like.
My family and I went the other day and had a good time. food was "good" service was great except the bartender. he seemed to have a bad attitude every time we went up to get a drink. prices are little high but that is understandable. if I had any suggestion it would be to make pinball/pool .25 we already have to pay 5$ a person for gaming and in the 2 hours we were there we couldn't get on any gaming seats.
Owner is very rude to women. I don't see how an owner of a bar cannot TIP people but expects tips for his employees. When a service is provided to this owner he is rude, demanding, unprofessional and unappreciative. I wouldn't give your money to an owner (Ryan) that is disrespectful to customers service providers!
My favorite bar to go to! The employees are so friendly and helpful and I always have a blast
Board game wall, endless video games and 6 couches with big screens for console play with friends! All for $5, unlimited play for the day! Ohh. And food and a bar thats pretty good to ??. Friend and family friendly.
Huge place!!! Lots of games from board games, video games, and more!! Love the food. They just added pizza... OMG try the pizza!!! It's so freaking good! If they keep doing this they will be around forever!
Fun place to play games of all kinds. Video games, board games, card games, DnD, etc. Full bar with specialty drinks, local beers, coffees, and lots of food options as well.
Place is great. The atmosphere in there is amazing. Everything you need to have fun is in there. DND, card games, board games, Retro games, new games, almost all gaming consoles, very large variety of games and arcade cabinets, good food, and good service. All for a very affordable $5 per person. Would recommend 100% if you're looking to have some fun gaming. Reservations can be made too. I would take my girlfriend there every weekend if I could.
I love coming here! They have a good mix of games. Some for super gamers as well as the casuals. They also have fun events and good space to play different tabletops. I've come for board games, video games, and DnD! I haven't made it out to some of their weekly events but I'm hoping to go to a miniature paint night soon!
Amazing staff, great location and even better food! Would highly recommend Headshots for any nerdy outings any time of the year!
This is a wonderful experience that is cost effective and filled with possibilities. The large catalog of games, a huge amount of board games, with great food, and friendly staff makes for an excellent experience.
We had a good time and felt like the food and drinks were appropriately priced for a bar setting. We had never been there before and the staff was very friendly and helpful the entire time. I could see it getting crowded as they have limited seating for the gaming stations and from what I can tell it was first come first serve, so you may have to wait a while to get an open couch/TV gaming setup. We would certainly go again.
My wife and I came here last week for food, I like the ghost in a shell burger. Ordered our food and it came out. Food is not terrible, I asked for the drinks and they bring me cups and I'm like what do I do with these???? Apparently you have to get your own drinks which isn't a big deal but the other 3 or 4 times we have came here either for gaming or food they have brought our drinks to us. I have never been told I need to get my own drinks here or I would have been ok with it. So I asked Ryan(the owner)
Update 2023: This place has objectively only gotten better with time. They are now very upfront about pricing for games and they now have a great selection of table top items for sell. Their tabletop area is probably the best in the city now. Pizza was great as well. Update: After the move to the new location my group of friends was charged $5 each for playing 1 board game. We had no idea we were charged until we got the check. Not worth the price at all we could of bought the game and played it at home for
Loved everyone who worked here! First time I've been and everyone was so so sweet
I didn't have food, but saw pizzas, so win. The 80s90s pinball machines were good. Video game and board game setup top tier!!! Drinks were good!!
Chill vibes, cool people, lots of games. Food is decent. Great customer service! Definitely a good time and a good place to nerd out!
Went on a Monday night and it was pretty empty. You pay $5 for all you can game, and if you wanted, that's all you'd have to pay. Drinks and food are optional. That said, their beer list is pretty extensive and it happened to be half-price burger night. Played all sorts of retro games, including several board games, and ended up spending probably 4-5hrs here. Everyone working was super helpful in recommending board games and helping to set up consoles.
Great place to enjoy a drink with friends and chill for the day. Can't recommend it more
I hosted a birthday party last night and the experience was amazing! I had about 20 guests and they reserved the best seats for us. We were able to play video games and had tables for board games. Even though they were busy the staff was so amazing and helped us so much. I highly recommend. I definitely will be returning. ??
Pretty fun place to hang out, they have ddr which was fun
I've NEVER had a bad experience here! Sometimes they get busy so it takes a while to get drinks but it's understandable and the staff is always so accommodating. Ryan and the general manager took great care of us for the hours that we were there. Love the new quieter tavern room for people who aren't as into video games!
10/10. Great place. Great environment. Great staff. This is my favorite place in town to hang out with friends. Whether you are trying to play games or just hang out, Headshots is the best place to do it.
First time going today and would definitely recommend for the whole family to have fun. This place had a very chill atmosphere, staff were nice and ready to help, and very reasonably priced for what they offer. The drinks were delicious and the food was actually very good. I will 100% be going back and worth every penny. My son's loved it and thats really all that matters.( they are 13 and 7)
I've been here twice and 10/10 would recommend! The food is tasty, they have a great draft selection and the GAMES!!! Literally something for everyone. We brought our 12yo this time and they said this is the best place ever. We loved Sente when it was around, but this takes it to the next level with food and booze. Love you, Headshots!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
