Hall of Fame Silver Lanes

I've been a league bowler at this center for years. It is well maintained and the staff are very friendly and professional. I want to acknowledge a particular employee there, Tyler. He is a very courteous and helpful person. I see him working all of the time and even though he is busy, he always takes care of my friends and I every visit. Representatives like this make me feel welcomed and I appreciate that.

We had a wonderful experience bowling yesterday! Trying out Silver Lanes was well worth it. All staff were professional, friendly, and very polite. The pro shop is fantastic -Dave is knowledgeable & helpful -hands down excellent. His expertise was much appreciated. I went last week and there was a staff member named Bryce G. His customer service and his food service was excellent i would most definitely go back. him and his team is the best made me and my family feel comfortable they brought my food fast and drinks. Awesome bowling alley. Old school in design and charm but updated enough to stay up to date with competitors. Huge place with lanes on both sides. Staff has always been very nice. Also support local charities with fundraisers. Parking lot is big with more parking behind building. Thanks guys!

I booked my daughter's 5th birthday party here, and it was a terrible experience. The food was late, even though I had planned ahead. I also paid for unlimited drinks, but my party only received drinks twice. When I went back for a refill, the manager was extremely rude, yelling at me instead of helping. Wasn't terrible, wasn't great. The bumpers for my little one weren't working as the air compressor was broken. The lanes were well kept. Sadly, the place reeked of pot (I don't care personally, but my family didn't like it). If I land another Groupon, I'd go again.

I come every year new years day with the men from my group homes. After my experience last year I swore I was never coming back. I took a chance and came back. The food was out of this world. I've been to Sicily and didn't get pizza this good. My first and last time. I will not be coming to this location. I would not have had an issue with returning if it wasn't for horrible customer service. Bowled a tournament at this center over the weekend and it was by far one of the worst centers I have ever been in. 1: Center was opened for a half hour and the outside doors were locked, get in through the bar and the manager says ?I just haven't gotten to opening the doors? 2: There was a toilet clogged to the top when the center just opened so that was left overnight untouched. 3: When asking if there is anyone at the snack bar a women was met with ?There will be when we have staff? with attitude. 4

It was a good place to Bowl! Good prices. Food is decent and the bar is good. Had a bit of technical interruption but they sorted it out as quick as they can. Overall a good experience!

?No outside food allowed??. Ok I get it, but unless you're part of a party, don't expect to be fed. The kitchen stops taking orders for anyone who's not in a party. How can you have an establishment that doesn't allow outside food but you're turning away all guests who aren't part of a huge party. If your kitchen can't support the crowd, I should be allowed to bring my own pizza!!!

Disappointing Experience with Poor Customer Service Our visit to this bowling alley was an incredibly frustrating experience. The lane we were assigned got stuck three times during our game. While the clerk at the desk promptly fixed it the first time, the manager, Jonathan, handled the situation very poorly after that. Minor shoe supply shortage for kids upon arrival, my event was prepaid but Tyler, the manager on shift immediately escalated to GM, Jonathan Centerbury. Ordered food and was told one thing wasn't on the menu so i would get a refund within 7-10 business days. i haven't gotten a refund yet 2 weeks later, called to speak to the manager jonathan an he has no knowledge apparently this happened, nor does he have the technology to check. Went here for a child's birthday party. Start off was horrible. The mom actually had to find someone to "host" this party. The room was dull and boring. Laser tag was boring. They didn't have the smoke machines on it was just them with vests that lit up way too much brightness. Bowling was ok, but we were rushed by "host" even when eating they rushed us. My daughter and I went there. Nice place, but the rentals shoes are not comfortable like other bowling alleys. You have to pay up front before I you bowl and that's okay. However, bowling per person was $10.50 per game per person. That's a high price when others in the area are so much lower. We did bowl 2 games as we were already there but won't be going back because of their prices.

It's crazy how last week they denied me and my family service due to them assuming that we were drinking alcohol in the parking lot just for me and my partner to come back the following week and they only have rum and coke available and bottled beer due to the bartender calling out but wonder why they have lack of customers please shut this place down or get better ppl to run it it's distasteful

Jonathan is the manager of these lanes. I needed help with my scoring this weekend , and he handled it so courteously. Its hard to find someone in a position like this that take so much time to care about your customer experience. We always hit him for change on Tuesday night in the Hy Sloate League. A little jammed up. They could have spread the teams out during the morning tournament and had them spaced out, as the facility was open for the tournament only.

Place seems old and out dated, the bar area looks great but doesn't get that much business.

I bowl in a league and practice during the week. If there is an issue, someone is there immediately to fix it. The staff and management are great and accommodating when possible. Silver Lanes is better than the other facilities in the area that try to be more of a party place.

We reserved a lane for a birthday party (6 people) unfortunately some of The people in our party were 30 minutes late so we were late to start our game. By 7:30 our time was up because our lane was reserved for the league. The GM Jonathan helped us move everything into the lounge/bar area so we could continue celebrating. Update 12/12/24 - my review about renovations has to go away. The little updates they did were all they stuck with. Place has looked like it's halfway through a remodel for years. A coat of paint and new screens and that's been it. The tables aren't enough space for leagues and we are all tripping over each other to bowl. The new owners are letting the place fall apart. Surprisingly clean and good for the full gamut between bowling league to little girls birthday party. Arcade is sufficient for kids, bar is sufficient for everything else, and even the pool tables are plentiful and in good shape. Fun place, good times

I went here with my children on Saturday night. It was a little over priced. They were in a rush with big party orders, that they wouldn't take my order.Also the smoking in front entrance and exit horrible specially when you with your children.

A nice bowling alley, with two rows of lanes, a large bar/restaurant, and what look to be good food options. Nice pro shop and the usual fixins. They do need to upgrade the sound system, but as I bring earplugs, it's all good.

I went to Bowlero in East Hartford this Saturday around noon and called ahead. They told me they had open lanes. I had to wait 15 minutes for Jonathon to come to the counter. This was a good time. It's was busy, in my opinion, for a Sunday afternoon. The neighboring lanes people were all very nice and having a good time. Check in and check out was not the funnest. The bowling alley was ok. the food was horrible and overpriced. Small drink $5, med $6.50 and large $8. The toothless manager schedule that night was extremely rude. His demeaning and unnecessary comments to staff in front of the guests created an uncomfortable atmosphere. We love coming to Silver Lanes. We reside in Waterford right now so driving an hour "just to bowl" should definitely prove we love this place. Had a great time at this bowling alley today. We came as part of an employee outing and it was great. I worked with the manager, Tony, to set things up and he was great to work with. He was very responsive and accommodating, given that we didn't have an exact headcount. They have good lanes, plenty of balls, and some fancy new shoes (just for certain sizes though). The staff was very attentive and we were well taken care of. As part of our package we also had food. I have to say, the wings were phenomenal!

Great bowling alley. There is also laser tag. They host professional tournament events sometimes. Food was alright, drinks were great, and price tab was utterly ridiculous. A serving of wings and fries goes for $15, same for ONE drink, and a single game starts at 20-25. Then you add the number of players and shoe rentals. Easily 300 bucks for a foursome.

I went there for a school trip and they took forever to get our food we ordered at 12:44 pm and we weee leaving at 1:30 pm and never got our food also we tried to sit at a seat and they said we couldn't we told them there were no more left and they still refused for us to sit there I'm very disappointed !

Fun place. Decent prices on bowling with good prices on drinks. We went on a Friday night, and there was a great crowd of young adults there. This was after we attempted to visit Revolutions in South Windsor. That crowd would've been more at home in a city public housing project rather than a bowling alley. 5 stars for silver lane, for their good prices and pleasant crowd.

Couple things I love about this place is that they will always try to work with you'd like to switch lanes for what ever reason. The staff is very attentive and always make sure you're having a good time. But my favorite thing is how nice the lanes are.

Ive been going to the Silver lane bowling alley for 21 years and never once have i felt as uncomfortable as i did tonight, in order to get a drink i had to go all the way to the front desk and when i did they made me feel like i was bothering them, i spent $100 tonight and i feel like i was robbed. Lots of lanes! Tons of leagues to join, pretty much every day of the week. Bathrooms are clean.The private party room is a good size. The food is standard bowling alley fare (pizza, burgers, fries, popcorn, soda, etc.). Greasy and cheap! The first time I went the pinsetters and scoring kept messing up, but the last two times have been better. Thankful that management has been working with the group with whom I volunteer, to give the group discounted games and shoes. Very thoughtful!

The prices are high. I went the Friday after Christmas. All games were full price. The company cancelled all deals because it was a holiday weekend and they could make more money. I probably would have played more games and spent more if the games didn't cost so much.

It was my first time at this bowling alley. There is something for everyone to do here. Staff is wonderful.
