Classic arcade games and some new ones. Kids always love going. Bumper car guy allowed my youngest to ride for free with my older kid. Only charged by the car. Very nice and friendly guy. Ticket counter staff always rounded up the value of tickets my kids had, to allow them to get something more expensive than what they'd earned. Nice people!
I've been coming to laconia for at least a week every summer since I was a kid! & this year my husband, 2 kids, & myself decided to carry on that tradition! I always went to the boardwalk & arcades as a kid, & this week was no different. We went the 2nd day we were here when it was sprinkling & had a great time in the arcades, (the overhang outside kept us dry walking the strip) & then went again tonight when the weather was perfect; & once again had so much fun! I love when it gets dark & the arcades light
My family visited in shoulder season and had some experiences during our visit. Decent selection of older and newer games. There is some room for improvement here. First, three separate games failed - the staff taped off the broken coin slots. We were not refunded the money but were given tickets (which at first I thought was fine, though read on). Second, the prize counter is truly awful. The values are way too high especially for out dated plastic junk. Worst of all - no candy for low ticket values. This
Great place to kill some time before or after the beach with the family! Fun arcade with lots of classics, from pinball and skee ball, as well as physical competitive games like air hockey (table nice and new in '23) and rod hockey. Plenty of chance and skill games that can really pump out the tickets, though the dude running the prize counter when I was there was kinda checked out/grumpy. It didn't bother the children, just the adults. There are a few newer racing and shooting games, as well, so there's o
We have been coming here for about 40 years....it is a must visit ! We go here at least 2x a year. Some really nice old games and just last month we found some brand new great games.
A nice entertainment spot on the weird beach area and perfect addition to a summer day trip to this scenic location. However, the rooms and ambiance look old. Need to improve cleanliness. They are on multiple shops with different sections of entertainment on the same side of the street. Bumper cars are just five dollars a person
I asked the woman working at the front what I could get for 31 tickets and she didn't speak. Then I asked if they had candy for a low amount of tickets(I hadn't read the sign yet) and she just stared at me and didn't speak. Then she threw my ticket away and continued to just stare. Nice games, fun atmosphere, very bizarre people working there...
A nice arcade to stop into if you haven't got many high expectations. They have some of the classic games, ski ball, and gimmicky fun high school date stuff like a picture machine. During the summer is typically a mad house due to the young beach goers, and when it starts cooling off it's more fun to go to.
Scammer guy at half moon bumper cars took my $10 bill and exchanged it for another $10 bill so we could get a couple $5 bumper car tickets. The machine kept spitting it back out, his did not work either so he kept it and asked if he could make change for the $20 bill I had, gave me a $10 for my $20 and I thought great we don't need to feed the machine. He said I had to get tickets first, so I did. then I asked him for the other $10 he owed me and he denied he owed me anything, said I gave him a $10. Even
Located right across the lake it's a relatively small arcade with a good amount of fun games there. It has a healthy mix of crane games, classic arcade games and ticket games. Great for families and a good place to bring small kids to. Would recommend it as a nice place to stop by on a vacation.
Great little place for a boardwalk. Not much to expect here, same as any other expensive arcade. It's fine for a stop to entertain the kids and break up the day, get the,m in the shade a bit. Seriously set a limit because most games run you $1 these days, but so does like every other arcade.
Prices are a bit steep compared to buying tokens in bulk at fun spot, but the good news is that games charge quarters, not tokens, so you can actually play as little as you want and not be roped into prepurchasing more tokens then you need. The big advantage of this arcade is it's quality DDR station and jump rope challenge game. Those two games carry their weight.
Great arcade, lots of fun games, they got all the modern games that you see at other arcades plus some retro games! Awesome prizes (no candy but can actually get some quality toys) and workers are very nice and friendly
Great lil arcade. Ticket payout amounts are low, but they have great cheap prizes. I only play guitar hero and a couple of other older games. Look for me on GH Arcade Leaderboards: JACKCARM or JACKC
With Funspot right up the road, it's easy to pass this place by. Don't do that. This place is a real treat and on my list of places to hit up anytime I'm in Weirs Beach. You'll find a great selection of games - old games too.
This is a fun little arcade with a nice mix of old and new games. The staff is responsive and friendly. There are two locations at Weirs Beach, on either end of the same block. We always look forward to stopping here when in the area.
Very fun. Alot of old school games to play. A Little more expensive than Funspot. These arcades use cash unlike Funspot. We spent 15 bucks and had a blast.
Good selection, in the middle of renovations but still a few really nice games. 5 Pinball tables, the best of which is Funhouse in my opinion. A bit pricey, but not terrible.
Played one pinball machine that malfunctioned and rebooted after 20 seconds. When I explained the problem to the gentleman behind the counter, he was apathetic and told me to go try another game. One star for the collection of old games you can marvel at but I wouldn't recommendthat arcade., b
Large selection of games, good upkeep on them. A bit more expensive than Funspot but much better games and nearby food selection.
We brought our young children to the arcade today and the gentleman working the ticket counter was very kind to them. It was a great experience and we had a blast!
A cool nostalgic arcade, I've been going here since I was a child.
Was great. Prize choices could use a little update but great fun.
It was fun and had some old school games. Most of the games worked but when a glitch came up the gentleman was very nice and accommodating to get it fixed
Don't bring your family during bike week. Every other time we experienced magic safe clean fun.
Old School arcade with some newer games. Good time for the family. Right across the street from lake Winnipesaukee.
Nice old fashion arcade. Right across the waterfront. Lots of old games .... with today's prices 1.00 for 1 pinball game is a bit much
Very nice place. Definitely dated though. The games are slightly expensive but for where you are it is to be expected almost.
Hours on website said Monday?s 10am-11pm, drove an hour there to arrive at 7:15pm & the place was closed. Never going back, terrible business.
Has a good location, but all the games I wanted to play were twice the cost as they were at FunSpot.
Older classic games have a not been maintained and continue to be replaced by non-skill ticket dispenser games for 3 year olds. Not worth walking in to anymore.
They have two and you can combine your tickets and so many games for so many people. Easy to win games.
Owner/manager Told me to pull my mask over my nose when talking 6? from face with no mask Himself and said ?my house my rules?. Business owner to business owner that's very unprofessional not to wear a mask yourself while implementing your ?house rules?
We cannot recommend this place! Pure rip off and the employee was very rude and disrespectful! Furthermore, it is not really clean and hygienic there!
Up to date games and old ones. Fun for everyone! Prizes aren't all that expensive for the most part either!
Great mix of old and new and everything is in working order and maintained. Fun for adults and kids
An integral part of the Pier experience. Shoutout to Brian for being that dude. He is a reliable part of the experience.
Didn't smell, and you had real chance to win if you worked at it, and I would go back, and We did.
Its cute, next to train station and lake.
Very friendly staff! Very kind to the younger children thank you!
Fun for kids or on a rainy day, but a bit worn down
The kids,Mom,and I had a great time.
Machines rigged to not payout on major prize.
Says its open, make a trip to Laconia and its closed for the season...
1 of the best places to play videogames
Still fun even at my age.
Who doesnt love an arcade!?
Nice place to bring family
Arcade open late on boardwalk
Great time lots of games
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
