Great Wolf Lodge Water Park | Pocono Mountains

Great Wolf Lodge Water Park | Pocono Mountains

Reviews Summary

Great Wolf Lodge offers a mixed experience, with many praising its family-friendly atmosphere, fun water park, and helpful staff, especially for kids. However, issues like overcrowding, poor room conditions, inconsistent service, and high food prices frequently disappoint guests. While some find it a great value, others criticize management for lack of organization, cleanliness problems, and unmet expectations, particularly with room bookings and refunds. The water park is a highlight, but tube shortages and cold water are common complaints. Overall, it’s a hit with families but has notable flaws.

We recently visited Great Wolf Lodge and had an overall wonderful time as a family. The kids absolutely loved the water park attractions, and there were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained throughout our stay. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, and the themed atmosphere added to the excitement for our little ones. That said, I do feel it's important to share some serious concerns about the cleanliness and overall maintenance of the facility, especially considering the pre

The cost is worth the smiles. Is the food a little pricey? Yes. Is the parking and the place a little pricey? Yes. Are the souvenirs pricey? Definitely. This place is worth every extra penny. My kids *love* going here. We don't get back to the car before they start begging to come back. The slides are a blast, the wave pool is a great place to chill, and there's a whole bunch of other stuff to do as well. The rooms are adorable, with bunk beds in a forest design, and the outdoor pool, which I admit I haven'

This Wolf Lodge was so clean, spacious and offered so many fun opportunities in addition to the Water Park. I've always wanted to go, and finally came here with my daughter and my grandchildren. This Grandma rode the mat rides, tube rides, and hung out in the wave pool with the younger grandchildren. I had a great time and felt like a kid again for 2 days. The lines moved quickly, plenty of staff to keep everyone safe and moving up the lines. The room was comfortable, spacious, the ?Den? is an ideal setup for

Had a great time at Grey Wolf Lounge! The location was a fun and exciting place to take the kids. The staff were great the entire time and made the experience even better. There's a large hot tub outside next to a big outdoor pool. Inside, there's a pool with several water slides and a lazy river that winds around the area. One of the highlights was the climbing area for kids, where they can gear up with a harness and safely climb and explore, super fun and unique! There are plenty of kid-friendly food sp

We began going to Great Wolf back around 2022. I think we average 2-3 trips a year here, it really is an incredible value if you book selectively. Aqua Park tickets are included with any room booking, so if you book for one night you get access to the park included on check in day, and even for the rest of the day AFTER checking out. Booking selectively Sun-Thurs, you can usually secure a room for $150-$200 after resort fees and parking, which for 5 of us breaks down to 30-40 dollars a person. I can't take

The parking is $25/night. There is a $100/night incidental charge. There was a few things broken prior to our stay in the room. Everything was fun for the kids. Not a lot of adult things to do. If you want to ride water slides, be prepared to carry a raft up flights of steps. Places to eat closed at 8, not a lot of restaurant options. The view on our balcony wasn't good either. Overall it wasn't a bad place for kids.

Pam in security made such an impact on our stay! The first person we had the pleasure of meeting when we arrived. She was patient, friendly, humorous, and ready to help. She was the sunshine on the rainy day we came. We were so grateful to have met her during our stay and when we return we look forward to seeing her again. Overall the stay was wonderful everyone we meet greeted up and made sure we had what we needed. This is our second trip here and we plan many more to come. Thank you great wolf. See you a

Great experience for a short getaway. The kids love to play in the wave pool. They have an amazing staff! Friendly and helpful. Hats off for DJ and Tammy, I am so grateful for them. The place was so clean and full of fun. The lazy river was too short. Me personally love the outdoor pool.

We loved the Waterpark. It was just as described on the website and so much fun. Seats are limited, except you get there early. The Rope course was nice both for children and adults. My favorite was the bowling alley, but the mini golf was also quite enjoyable. The magi-quest, art sessions, and dance parties are a huge plus. There is really lots to do. We got a wolf den; the bunk beds were a bit hard, and the occupants above us kept us up at night because you could hear every single step. Quiet time is 11p

From someone who is gluten and dairy free: - breakfast at fireside has options and tasty - dinner at fireside was limited and waiter seemed to care less - snack stands are hard but did find the taco stand at the water park could accommodate (chicken tacos were good, chips were stale) - free water was only available at the restaurants when eating or on the bottom floor at once place Water park should have more life guards for the kid pool. So many kids, I felt bad for them. We were watching our kids like a

Overall experience was great!! My kids had a great time ages 3,5 and 8. Most of the water slides my 8 year old couldn't ride as he wasn't tall enough but depending on who was operating the slide depended on if they allowed him. The room we were in was nice except the beds. The beds were dreadful to sleep in. I tossed all night not being able to get a good nights sleep. I think I'd rather spend the day there instead of overnight next time. A downfall about the trip was the fact that we didn't purchase the p

From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and family-focused. The indoor water park was the highlight ? clean, well-managed, and packed with fun for all ages. Our kids had a blast on the slides, the wave pool, and the lazy river, while we appreciated the safety and lifeguard presence throughout the park. The lodge room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and the themed decor really added to the excitement for our little ones. We also appreciated the various kid-friendl

I have been coming to great wolf lodge for about 10 years now with my children. I have never had an experience as bad as I did this weekend. First I wanted to add an extra day to my stay and stay longer than 1 night and they gave me a very very hard time about staying in the same room. When I called and made the reservation via phone. I was told I would be able to stay in the same room considering I have 2 autistic children. After debating and asking for a supervisor I was told I can only stay in the same r

Wolf Lodge. We specifically booked and paid extra for the Wolf Den Suite for my daughter?s birthday?something she was incredibly excited about. When we checked in, we were placed in a regular room with no explanation. When I reached out to the front desk, I was casually told, ?There was something wrong with the room, this is all we could do.? No prior notice, no heads-up before arrival, and no real apology. I had to be the one to ask what happened, and for a birthday trip, this was beyond frustrating. We

The staff are phenomenal! So friendly. The food and drinks are good, but is a little pricey depending on where you go. The water park was a hit for my younger kids, under 4! They did have a variety of stuff for older kids /people. There is a ton of fun stuff to do but you pay extra for everything. Our room was ok. Clean, was updated but still had gross, ripping carpet. But my extended family that came with us had a brand new room. Theirs was very nice. We got a big suite they got a double bed room. Overall

Some goods and some bads. Don't come here if you wanna be healthy. The food here is for your prime American family. Fried chicken and fries....yum. The water park is very fun however! The new mountain rooms are so far away from everything you will be walking for a good 10 minutes. Lord help you if you have a person in a wheelchair. Also magi quest is for those of us who like to run. The only issue is it's hot and I really don't wanna walk around in the humid heat. All in all they could improve. Definitely n

After years of putting of this trip because of the mixed reviews now I know why not to come back. unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations. We rented a cabana during our visit, and were very disappointed with its location. It was placed in one of the least desirable areas of the park, directly in front of a loading slide tube with absolutely no view. While we were grateful for the wonderful service provided by our server, Brian?who was attentive and kind?the cabana?s location and lack of priva

Instead of writing my own review, I thought I'd share exactly what my three sons had to say about the place: From our oldest: ?This place was great! The hotel room was nice, the attraction was extremely fun, and the dining was exquisite.? From our younger two: ?Great!! And awesome!? ?Magical, had fun and more!? Clearly, it was a hit with all three?different ages, same excitement. ??

So me and my family did a 4 day 3 night stay and the stay was really good. We had so many worries due to other negative reviews about the rooms having bed bugs but our room was very clean and comfortable (no bugs). My wife and daughter and I loved the water park the wait time was not that long on most the rides during the weekday but the weekend it's more people but still not a long wait. The water temperature was warm and comfortable on all the attractions the park was warm the entire time. The restaurants

Great wolf lodge is an amazing place for family?s. It's completely family friendly. The water park is one of the best things about this hotel. The rooms are one of the nicest hotel rooms I've ever been in. The beds are honestly one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. They might even be more comfortable than my own bed. This place is great and I really recommend it

We recently spent a wonderful time at Great Wolf Lodge in Pennsylvania, and it was an unforgettable experience for the whole family! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and full of energy. The highlight, of course, was the water park ? both indoor and outdoor areas were fantastic. Our kids had an absolute blast exploring the slides, wave pools, and splash zones. The indoor park is perfect rain or shine, and the outdoor section added an extra layer of fun with sunny weather and fresh ai

It's definitely changed throughout the years. I first came here in 2006. That's when they persevered the land and had a lot of outdoor activities for families (canoeing, hiking, and skiing in the winter). Now they have completely destroyed the land to build more rooms and inside activities. That's not showing people what the Pocono area is truly about. Don't get me wrong the inside activities are great for little kids and the indoor waterpark is great as well. But I believe they didn't have to destroy major

I would like to take a moment to recognize and commend the outstanding service provided by our waitress during our recent visit. From the moment we were seated, she greeted us with a warm smile, genuine hospitality, and an impressive level of professionalism. She was attentive without being intrusive. She went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was both enjoyable and seamless. Her positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service did not go unnoticed. It's rare to encounter someo

Absolutely LOVED our visit! The lodge was so nice and the water park was very fun. The highlight was definitely the staff. Every single employee we interacted with was so sweet! The only negative would be the cost of food so I highly recommend bringing food or eating off the lodge. We can't wait to go back! ??

5 stars ? Perfect family getaway! We had an amazing time at Great Wolf Lodge! It's incredibly kid-friendly ? everything is themed and designed to keep the little ones entertained from the moment you walk in. The indoor water park was super fun for all ages, and there are so many activities throughout the day that you truly never get bored. It's the perfect place for families to disconnect and enjoy quality time together. The food was okay, but we appreciated the variety of options available for both kids

Our family (two adults, two 15 year olds, and one 4 year old) went to Great Wolf Lodge on the half day (4pm-8pm) day pass over our kids' spring break on a Wednesday in April of 2025. We arrived a couple hours before our 4pm water park reservation time to do the non-water park activities including mini golf, arcade, mini bowling, and the mirror maze, all of which were fun for all ages and priced as expected based on our website research beforehand. We finished all of those "dry land" activities just before w

We had a 2 day one overnight trip to GWL and we had a great time. Staff was very friendly, Water slides and activities were fun, and the food was pretty good but a bit on the pricey side. Our room was nice and updated but the HVAC unit was loud and a little disturbing at times especially while sleeping. Overall it was a great experience and reasonably priced for a family of 4. We plan to visit again. My 6 year old son was allowed on almost all slides and 8 year old was allowed on all. Overall great tim

The first time we stayed here was a lot of fun except they had the septic pumped very early in the morning right outside our room. Completely ruined the idea of having a balcony room to have coffee on. It was loud and gross. Fast forward to our most recent stay - we were given a free upgrade to an amazing villa. We were so excited and it really made our trip so great, we told everyone how great this room was and to take advantage of summer pricing of this place, I will be letting everyone know I was wrong t

It was the first time we visited the Great Wolf Lodge Poconos. We decided to book a room in "Lodge" (old main building, not a new "Tower"), and it was really convenient and easy to reach the water park from the room. During our stay (1 night) overall everything was great - kids loved 2 days in water park very much! The only issue I'm really disappointed was about the room. I booked/reserved the "Wolf Den Suit" specifically for kids to have that bunk bed. But when we entered the room, there was no bunk bed,

This place is only for kids, the water slides have giant lines and 70% of what I do is stand in lines for 30 bazillion years. It's very crowded that any kid here will get lost easily, and there should be a limit to how many people go to the water park. The food here is actually delicious and full of appetite, and the rooms were clean. It's also extremely hard to find a parking spot and it's gonna take you at least 10 minutes to find a spot to park your car. Everything here is pretty expensive and we were ch

I went to this waterpark this week and it was fun. The rides were great and I loved our room. However, after swimming and going on the rides, I returned home and both me and other family members are covered in itchy bumps and even covering our throats and tongues. We all agreed it was something in the water or about the chemicals. Please stay safe!

The location is beautiful. The water park is a lot of fun, with plenty of things to keep the kids happy. The employees didn't seem to be on the same page with policies and training. On one day my 6 year old was allowed to sit in the double inner tube with me and hold onto my legs. The next day that was forbidden and she had to sit upright, leaning forward to hold onto the handles toward the front of the float. The staff seem to do their best keeping the place tidy, though guests shed candy wrappers and othe

I stayed at this hotel in a newly built building, and it was clean and nice. However, it took a long time to park because there was no parking space for hotel guests and simple water park users. Also, there seemed to be no limit on the number of people in the water park. It was so crowded that I was very worried about the safety of my children. And the water smelled strongly of medicine, which stung my eyes. However, overall, the breakfast was delicious, and it was a good hotel.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos! From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. Even from the booking process over the phone, every team member we spoke with was kind, attentive, and eager to help. The waterpark was a highlight for our family so much fun for all ages! From thrilling slides to the relaxing lazy river, there was something for everyone. We especially appreciated having a cabana, and Brian, our cabana host, was ph

We recently visited Great Wolf Lodge as a family for the second time, excited for a fun getaway. But While the resort offers a variety of attractions and activities, but in this time we unfortunately encountered troubling behavior in the water play area. Some staff members appeared to act in ways that felt racially biased, applying different rules inconsistently and, in particular, interacting with my wife in ways that seemed inappropriate and discriminatory. This was very upsetting for our family, and it t

2 days, 1 night stay with family. The employees and cleaning staff are very friendly. They all work very hard and still manage to greet guests with a smile. The indoor resort was fun and entertaining. There is something for everyone to enjoy whether it be chilling in the lazy river or taking on the intense water slides. Personally, my little sister could not get enough of it. Overall, the Great Wolf Lodge experience was worth it

Great Wolf Lodge is the perfect family getaway! The indoor water park is amazing, with slides, a lazy river, and plenty of kid-friendly areas. Everything was clean and well-organized, and the staff were super friendly. It's fun, convenient, and all under one roof. We'll definitely be back!

Family of 3. I found a good deal! This place albeit fun and kid friendly is extremely expensive. I recommend packing lunches to save and eat off of the resort. The arcade was malfunctioning but the employee's compensated us. I booked us a loft which had a lot of space but no bedroom door for our master bedroom which was weird. Nice staff. Pretty clean. Great for younger kids

Staff is wonderful, mountain tower is new but farther away (lodges are dated but closer). Def appropriate for young kids, I have a 5 and 3 yr old, they had a blast. Just wish they had a bigger pool indoors for as crowded as it gets. The pools were absolutely filled with people and a lot of kids just cannonballing and splashing everywhere constantly. If you can deal with that, this is great.

? 1 Star - Worst Vacation EVER Where do I even begin? Great Wolf Lodge? More like Great Waste of Money. First of all, the ?theme? is wolves, but I didn't see a single real wolf. Not one. False advertising. We walked into the lobby and were immediately hit by the smell of chlorine, sadness, and overpriced pizza. The front desk staff smiled at me like they'd just escaped a cult?fake and exhausted. Our room? Had all the charm of a hospital waiting room, but with less comfortable beds. The ?log cabin? d?cor?

Great place for a family getaway. Kids will love it. Rooms were ok, loved the mini kid cave with bunk beds. Inside park is massive with variety of chill areas. Make sure the weather is great so that you can enjoy the outside pool as this will probably be lesser crowded than the inside park.food is pricey, I paid $90 for their buffet breakfast for 2 adults and 1 child ughhhh. Paid another $90 for Burger, fries with drinks for adults and Mac and cheese for my kid. Community microwaves where everyone shares s

Great resort! Customer service is top tier. The only issue we had was the food, not much options. We were here for 3 nights and got the timber dining package, it would've been better if they had theme nights or at least incorporated some new options every night instead of serving the same exact things for dinner. Another option would be offering packages that includes both timber and fireside. Other than that, the place is super clean and everyone is always smiling, you don't get that everywhere you go. Th

This Great Wolf Lodge was confusing from the time we pulled in. The portico to pull under to drop off and unload has signage that is the opposite of what staff wants you to do. And, there are 2 separate and opposing sets of instructions on the signage. It was a mess just getting in the door. As I was signing our family in I found out parking is $20 a day. It feels like that was information I could have been provided online when I planned this and/or at some point during the 4 phone calls I had to make to st

If i could give Great Wolf Lodge Poconos more stars I would. The resort is super clean, sanitary, and overall amazing. They have more than enough for the whole family to do together. The water park had a good variety of water slides and even stuff for the little kiddos. A staff member, Kaytlin, is very kind and helped us out immensely and gave us amazing deals that we could not refuse. I absolutely recommend.

Let me start off by saying my family and i have been coming here or to any GWL location sense i was 15 yearly - i am 30 now with 2 kids of my own. We normally have little issues with any GWL we stay at but this time there were a few. For starters our room seemed outdated. The balcony had peeling paint and the walls had staples and gouges in them from he previous people. And the rug was frayed in several spots. When we went to the creamery we went 30 minutes before closing after the dance party. There was

We just spent two weeknights at the Poconos Great Wolf Lodge and it far exceeded our expectations! The Lodge was well kept and clean. Every staff member we encountered was FANTASTIC and did everything they could to make our stay stress free and enjoyable for our family. The food options were good, and the Wolf pass was well worth the money! Unfortunately, we encountered a medical emergency in the water park, but the staff was beyond attentive and there to assist within seconds! The water park has something

This place is like paradise for my kids. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Always a great time and a great atmosphere. Plenty of restaurants in the area so no need to stay and eat the resort food every night. But I will say the buffet dinner and breakfast is very good. Better than you would expect.

This is my second time here and it is fantastic! Not a long drive from south Jersey and it's worth it. The room is affordable and clean and the water park is phenomenal. It's very well run and the staff are friendly and engaging. It was super busy and the staff running the rides were super kids and patient.

Our experience was pretty average at GWL. The rooms were nice after seeing bed bugs reportedly on social media two weeks before our check in, we were skeptical but our room was clear. The water park was not easily marked to find for it being our first time there. And the water park was WAY too busy and crowded. There were barely any chairs to put down our shoes and cover ups and barely any room to yourself in the pools. The fireside restaurant was unremarkable. The food was average but when asked for a spe

We had a great experience at Great Wolf Lodge. The staff were nice, it's very family friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable. I also appreciated that the water park tickets were included with the room and you could go 2 days for 1 night at the hotel. The only reason I'm knocking down a star is because the water and air in the water is pretty cold. My kids and I were cold the whole time. And, trying to get a chair is like an Olympic sport. You have to get there before it opens to get a chair in a dece

We visit GWL twice a year? we've been coming for the past 9 years and have never been disappointed! We always ask our 11-year-old kids if they want to try another waterpark, but the answer is always the same??No way! We love Great Wolf Lodge!? We enjoy using the discounts they have for veterans and firefighters? As my husband is both! The last two times we visited, we had special requests due to circumstances?. The manager, Madeline ?Maddie? was there to help put our mind at ease! She is probably one of th

I'm very torn about Great Wolf. The staff was very friendly and professional! We had the pizza and fries as well as a pretzel with cheese and it was sub par. I wasn't really impressed with the rooms. Had a light shining in my eyes from one of the buildings across the way. The curtain was broke so I couldn't close it the whole way to block the light. Lots of banging on the ceiling from people upstairs. Water park was fun and a nice size. For how much you pay I was expecting better.

We always have a great time here! The staff are friendly and the kids love it. The water park could be cleaner but it's not terrible. They have so many fun activities the kids are never bored. I will definitely go again.

after driving nearly 9 hours and wanting to use the water park, we arrived to a power outage, and sat in the heat for nearly 3 hours. We expected the hours to be extended for the water area once power returned but it wasn't. Losing the whole night and also not eating dinner due to sending all the staff home we were hoping for a refund as all we did was go to bed. they refused to refund us that night. We understand you can't control the weather, but you could make it up to your guests the food in the resor

Went for a day at the waterpark. A day pass is a very good price. Lots of slides to ride. Along with tons of places for kids of all ages to have fun and play. Overall very fun especially for the whole family. Food was higher priced, but all resorts are like that. Overall the waterpark is awesome.

Arcade Keith S. Is the best employee I've ever met. I could go on and on about how great this trip has been but instead I want to bring attention to him. On our first night in the arcade, I had my first encounter with Kieth. The monster kart racing machine steering wheel had come off. I found Keith and he was a genuine and funny guy who fixed it immediately better than when I first saw it. All was well until the next night when I Accidentally dropped my son?s birthday card that we had and Someone else had

One night stay for my 4 and 6 year old's first times. Absolutely amazing time, until the day after we got home. We gladly spent over $1000 in a 24 hour period (this included room, activities, food, late check-out) and it was worth every penny. However, this morning I received a $218 charge for a cabana rental that I did not have. I was told when inquiring the night before that there were no cabanas available, which is why I opted in to the late check-out that was offered. No problem, I'll just get on the li

Was here two weeks ago with my family for a single night. We had been to Kalahari a number of times, really enjoyed ourselves and thought we would give Great Wolf a try. While we had an okay time there were some issues, and apparently still are. I had booked a room with an upgrade of a fireplace with a balcony/patio, which had my kids excited. We were put on the ground floor of the tower though, which left us not with a nature view but instead a view of a tall mulch hill and parked cars, (see photo). We

It has now been over two weeks since a deeply distressing incident occurred at your Poconos location, and I've yet to receive a formal response from anyone?either onsite or from corporate. My 8-year-old son was held under water by another child in the water park. I witnessed it happen right before my eyes. A water park manager later told him, ?I'm glad you're okay, buddy. Sorry that happened to you.? That's not enough. That is not an appropriate response to what could have been a fatal event. I was later t

Avoid breakfast buffet at Timbers Table and kitchen. $27 per person for below average food. Also, we had to fill out how we wanted the eggs, 2 out of 7 omelettes were made wrong. The server lady didn't accept that they were made wrong instead told us thats what we ordered. On top of that charged us $48 automatically in tip may be because we were party of 12. But all she did was showed us the table, where food is and brought omelettes to our tables. Paid $299 for breakfast.

I remember when this was an affordable place to come to before the renovations were done. The room prices has jumped $200 to $400 a night. I decided to go to the water park for the day since it was cold and raining so the outside one I have season tickets to we couldn't go. Food is why over priced and now they charge $25 to park your car. It's cheaper in NYC!!!! Very disappointing, I don't think we will ever be back

Booked a two bedroom suite. The set up worked well. The room in general was neat and kind of clean but there was some dust in certain spots there were hairs (I guess from previous occupants) everywhere which was gross! I hate that there aren't real blankets/comforters on the beds. And there was only one of the brown warmer blankets available on a shelf in the room. So you may want to think about bringing back up blankets. The food places hours seemed strange. I don't get why they all closed at random t

Rooms could definitely, use a upgrade for the price. We had a great time 1 bad experience was the mirror maze. It cost my three children thirty seven dollars. Inside there were four interactive parts, two of them were broken. When we came out, I asked the service lady how to work them and she said, which ones rudely like II had any clue. How to differentiate which one. She then rudely snapped.Well, two of them are broken.I don't know what to tell you. My first reaction was shock. How rude she was the secon

Great Wolf Lodge is the perfect destination for little ones to enjoy while also allowing us to recharge during the long winter. The activities for kids are varied and exciting, ensuring endless fun. The heated pools are a great way to relax after a day full of adventures, and the common areas are always clean and well-maintained. The restaurant also deserves a special mention. We opted for a package that included a buffet-style breakfast, and the experience was excellent. The customer service was exception

I recently stayed at Great Wolf Lodge, and while I didn't receive the room I had originally paid for, the overall experience was still fantastic. The lodge?s outdoorsy theme was a big hit with my children, and they loved it. The staff, as always, were incredibly helpful, but I must especially mention Fannie, who works the register at the arcade. She stood out as one of the kindest and most genuine people I've encountered during my stay. Fannie took the time to connect with us, making sure my children knew e

Great Wolf Lodge Water Park (Pocono) took a $100 security Deposit at check in in which I they I will get back after check out. Its been two weeks and I still have not seen my security deposit back. Been fight with this company for two weeks. No one at this company can tell me what's going on.

This is the best water park resort in the Poconos, offering excellent service and an unforgettable experience for kids. There are plenty of activities to enjoy beyond the indoor water park. I especially loved their pizza and French fries! They've even added a hot spring pool outside, which made our visit even more enjoyable. We had a great time overall.

Place is amazing for kids, the water park isn't the largest indoor experience but it's very cleverly laid out to have a ton of things in the size they have. There is also an outside large pool great for summer days. The buffet leaves something to be desired but the Fireside restaurant I found to be better tasting and priced. Breakfast options are very limited at this resort however with your only two options being the buffet which is expensive or Dunkin? Donuts. The staff is an array of personalities but th

I'm gonna start with the con first, which does not bring my stars down, that's how amazing this place is! My one con is that there isn't much for adults. I know it's family friendly, which is why It doesn't change my 5star review. For example, the Waterpark closes at 8. I was hoping to put the kids in the room and have some fun by ourselves, but everything closes at this resort around 8-9. Maybe they can leave the Waterpark open for adults only after 8. But besides that, this place is amazing!! My kids had

We had a fun short trip, but the water park is chaotic. There is no structure, no rules, barely any monitoring, and it is simply overwhelming. We knew it would be crowded and that was fine, but the employees don't even put out tubes for the slides?there were like 3 double tubes being shared between hundreds of people, no communication from employees, zero structure in the lazy river (kids jumping in from the sides, masses without tubes or parental supervision, unsafe behavior). It felt extremely unsafe minu

We had so much fun! At check in, we were greeted by Djenna, who was awesome. She helped us with some minor issues and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The room was clean and comfortable. The kids loved the water park, the dance party, the bedtime stories and the arcade. Bonus, there was a dunkin by the elevators on the 1st floor!! There were so many restaurants and mini markets for late snacks. The entire staff was so nice and accommodating the whole time. We will definitely be returning!

Rooms were exactly as pictured. Beds very comfortable! Waterpark was always packed but still so much fun. Food is very very expensive. We ended up getting delivery most nights. Doordash isnt usually cheaper but in this instance it is. Overall Great Wolf is expensive but so worth it. Kids had a blast and we have already gone twice this month. Kids are asking to go back already.

The service I received was five stars, my checked in and out was smooth. The staff at the all-you-can-eat was very accommodating with medical issues, and they were kind and professional. my room was clean, spacious and there were unlimited supplies for me and my family. There were bountiful of activities for the family to do. The only recommendation I would give, is that they need to have more activities for pre-teens and teens.

Decor throughout the place is great. Customer service had some issues with. Got billed for extra passes and took a week to get it settled and refunded. Parking lot is always filled. Otherwise kids loved it. They enjoyed the Magiquest activity. None stop fun in the Waterpark. Be careful they will try to get you to upgrade for anything. $$

We love the water park and it's quite big. I don't love the entrance to the great wolf lodge. Very crowded and they always have dance parties and shows right where you are trying to get through. It's definitely a family affair. Hard to find parking. Overall it was a great time

My stay was from 6/1-6/4 My experience was absolutely terrible. I felt as if my black family were not accepted. While trying to get drinks from the indoor pool area, we were told we would not be served while being of age. Also, when purchasing two (2) of the refillable cups, the refillable part of said deal was not kept on your employee?s side. The restaurant waitresses were down right RUDE, all the while, we witnessed them treat everyone else with respect and dignity. It was a sad thing for my children to

I don't appreciate that they charged for parking this year. It also is obvious they try to cram as many bodies as legally possible into the park without regard for its effect on quality of everyone?s experience. As long as they're raking in the bucks, who cares right? Also the photos of the wolf den suite on the website consistently shows 2 TVs?one in the kids area and one in the main area. But two years in a row, we have only had one TV. I can only stand about 30 seconds of YouTube so this is kind of a big

I love this location. There are plenty of water slides and things to do with kids of all ages. I was bummed when it started raining because my kids really wanted to do the obstacle course they have outside. The rooms are very spacious and they have balconies. The restaurants on site are expensive so I didn't eat at them. This location is near a lot of stores. I would definitely go back here again.

The lines were entirely to long with 1 person as customer service. No matter where you went? you had a line with an unnecessary wait time. I deemed it unnecessary bc they could add more workers. Some of the workers I came across were rude and unprofessional. One worker was on the phone while trying to talk to me. I did however? enjoyed the basketball pool as well the wave pool. The lazy river I find not as fun as some other water parks near by. They really need more tables and chairs to accommodate people

The facility and experience was great, my family had a nice time. Reason for the 2 stars is due to the Great Wolf Lodge allowing their 'timeshare' partners to spam customers. I was transferred from the Great Wolf Lodge customer service, they told me to speak to their partners for promotions. I was transferred to a 'timeshare' representative who signed me up to receive spam emails and phone calls. Note I refused their timeshare offers. The Great Wolf Lodge should know better than to allow this to happen

We recently stayed at Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos and, overall, it's a solid choice if your trip is centered around young children. The water park is definitely geared toward kids?tons of fun for them, but pretty underwhelming for adults or teens (Kalahari has more variety for older age groups). That said, the family-friendly vibe is undeniable. There's plenty to do: bowling, arcade, night time activities and the water park kept our little ones entertained all day. Pros: Kid heaven: activities designe

Great Wolf Lodge is very unorganized, chaotic and a complete free-for all. Upon arriving, the lodge was completely packed. They would prefer you to check in using a kiosk, rather than an actual person. I left most of my belongings in the car, as it was early in the morning and we were planning to go straight to the waterpark. I brought my credit card and driver license, which was specified in the confirmation email I received. I left my phone in the car, and apparently that was a problem because I could not

Rooms and hospitality are good but the water park lack of proper management and set up so you can't ride much. Yes you may pay $600-900 a night but they don't have enough tubes to ride. You may have to fight or wait half an hour for the lazy river riders to give away their tubes. Very poor management and no effort to solve the issues. If you really want water park and not the themes rooms, you better off go to normal water park -much better management for fraction of the cost.

Bed bugs! Don't do it to yourself. I've been going here for years & I've never had such a horrible experience as we did last week. This location has really gone downhill. It has gotten very run down & very dirty. We ended up getting bit to hell by bedbugs & they offered to ?heat treat? one of our child?s belongings but if you know bed bugs don't work that way & I really wish we would?ve pushed to have them do all of our belongings bc we are paying the price now. Had they gone the extra mile to attempt to ma

It was alright at best. Pure chaos on every floor of the resort. Food was WAY overpriced and fir the love of god, use some salt, seasoning, something. The food was alright, the staff asked hiw we wanted it cooked although it didn't matter. It all came out well done not medium as requested. And why are condiments seem impossible to find. If you're not going to salt or season your overpriced food, you may want to leave some out so guests can. Parking is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. Honest opinion, do a day pass and

I was very excited to come to GWL with my family after hearing raving reviews, but much to my surprise, my trip overall was less than enjoyable. The front of house staff were extremely kind, but as soon as you got past that, everyone was borderline rude, especially the water park staff. There is little to no signage posted about standards as to what is okay and what is not. Me and members of my family were scolded multiple times by different lifeguards for things (like going down the kids slide with AND af

Janice was extremely helpful for me and our family when we checked in she was friendly courteous, informative, and did everything to make sure that our check-in was as soon as possible! She made our initial experience at great Wolf Lodge very welcoming! Thank you!

They fed my wife a moldy Burger bun at the Outpost in the park. Then refused to give me an incident report for it. No management contacted me other than the chief. There's no accountability and no management after hours so unless you waste the time you have with your family during water park hours, you will not find a manager on site after hours. Very unprofessional atmosphere. Lacking customer service entirely. Bathroom fan was extremely loud in my "majestic beer suite" until we spelled burning plastic and

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
