Great Wolf Lodge Water Park | Perryville

Great Wolf Lodge Water Park | Perryville

Reviews Summary

Great Wolf Lodge offers a fun, family-friendly experience with a well-liked water park and generally clean rooms, though some guests report cleanliness issues in specific areas. Staff are frequently praised for friendliness and helpfulness. However, complaints include high prices, extra fees (like parking), and inconsistent food quality. Some guests encountered maintenance problems (AC, fridge) and poor customer service when resolving issues. The water park is a highlight, but overcrowding and limited adult amenities (e.g., hot tubs) are noted downsides. While many enjoy their stay, others feel it’s overpriced for the experience.

First off, rides were amazing! As an adult, I was thrilled! My kids enjoyed themselves as well. There is also an outdoor pool. It's shallow, but there are a ton of chairs if you want to soak up some sun. Gluten-free pizza was good! Things we didn't enjoy so much: bedtime story was crowded, and everyone was talking. There were speakers all around, but we still couldn't hear. It's like no one could be bothered to pay attention. The rooms don't have towel racks. You have to hang swimsuits and towels in the clo

Fun vacation getaway close to home. Kids absolutely had a blast and we had a pretty good time too. Really enjoyed the outdoor pool which was nice and gave you enough space when the inside was over crowded. Really great facilities with a ton to do. Food and drink was not really as expensive as it could have been. I will say charging people to park when they are already locked in and staying there and there is no public parking around is pretty low if you ask me.

Food. The food here, and the food staff are not up to the standards I would expect for the price. One of the issues was at the pretzel stand. I ordered pretzel wrapped mini dogs. What i got was a hand full of mini dogs with pieces of pretzel tossed on top. Not worth the 50$ spent there. Customer service would do nothing about it. First time visiting will be my last time visiting. The hotel room. I've been many places and even the cheapest of hotels have a microwave. Seems like they cheaped out for the pr

Very fun with the water park having lots of different areas and slides to fit all needs. With multiple restaurants and games in the resort there will be something for everyone! There are also multiple restaurants around the resort if you want to get out for a little bit. Room service and customer service were very helpful! Highly recommend getting a pup pass for smaller kids who want to do build a bear and the older ones who want to play magic quest should get the wolf pass. Well definitely go again!

We do a lot of family travel and it's the first time here at this particular Great wolf. I have to say that were were pleased with how engaging, polite, and attentive the staff were. From the housekeepers to the front desk to the buffet (especially the staff here), bar tenders, pool staff. They talked to us and seemed to genuinely like thier jobs. The place was clean. The food was good. I liked the feature where you can order take out on the app and then pick up when ready. Overall a great 4 days. The eng

Our experience at Great Wolf Lodge - Maryland was truly wonderful! If you're a family of five, the room with two beds and a pull-out sofa in the living area is perfect and comfortable. For families of six or more, you can book two connecting rooms, and there's also a sofa bed available for extra sleeping space. I recommend bringing a case of bottled water from outside to save money, as the kids will need plenty of hydration. For meals, there's a delicious restaurant conveniently located near the indoor wat

We had a great time despite the crowds and the cost. Avoid the weekends if possible. It was way too busy. Kids were running amuck without supervision and, at night, they ran up the halls well past quiet hours. The water was cold and never quite seemed to warm up. Staff was super friendly and the facilities felt clean. The room was nice, but ours was a long distance from the elevator. The food was below average theme park food. I expect to pay a premium at a place like this, but these prices were absurd for

The rooms were mid, but clean. A tile had fallen off the wall and needs to be repaired. The check-in was slow and needed assistance with our wrist bracelets because when purchasing items there were problems so the wristbands needed to be replaced. The arcade workers were rude and looked past us to help people behind us until I spoke up and said something. Thank goodness Elijah saved the day. The water park area was fun and the location was convenient. To just be 3 years in they still have some kinks to iron

I've now been to Great Wolf Lodge three times. The resort has a lot of positive features but also has a significant number of glaring issues. When we visited today, they were out of veggie burgers and so our vegetarian family basically had to live off of onion rings and nachos while poolside. Everything was extremely expensive and/or overpriced. The resort needs more hot tubs and accommodations for adults, such as an on-site spa parents can relax in while their kids are playing.

Our first time there, we added a birthday package and meal plan when I reserved our room (kids cabin suite). The meal plan was super helpful, you can order food from any of the restaurants including Dunkin on the great wolf app and it will alert you when ready for pick up. Our room was ready well before the 4pm check in time which we really appreciated! But our birthday package wasn't in the room and the door wasn't decorated so we called the front desk and they quickly brought the items we were missing to

Our family trip was fantastic! The kids had a blast with the indoor water park, arcade, and various indoor and outdoor activities suited for both children and adults. The property had a friendly atmosphere and plenty of attractions to keep everyone entertained. We stayed in a standard room, which was clean and met basic expectations. The restrooms were well-maintained. While the food options were diverse and enjoyable, they were a bit pricey?Dunkin' Donuts was conveniently on-site, and Wawa was just a short

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Great Wolf Lodge! From the moment we arrived, everything was geared toward making it a fun, relaxing, and memorable experience for the whole family. The water park was a total hit with the kids?nonstop fun and adventure! There were so many great activities for the little ones to enjoy, and the wait times for the slides were impressively short, even during peak hours. It really helped keep the energy up and the fun going all day long. A huge shoutout to the lifeguards,

Family-friendly venue. The hotel rooms were decent. The water park rides were ok but could benefit from some upgrades. After two visits, the kids had enough. After a few hours, they were ready to go home The park could use some more fun activities for older children to keep them engaged. We didn't have the best view but the back of the building facing a bush. Overall, it's a place to visit for a day trip.

Samantha in Dining was great! She went above and beyond to rectify an issue we had. Honestly, her enthusiasm to help us really made our stay that much better. Everyone we came in counter with has been pleasant but Sam took the crown in customer service!

This is a wonderful place for a one day trip, my family just loved the experience, The check-in and check out process was very easy also the staff members were so friendly, we were given the room much earlier than the check in time, which made our day so much better and comfortable because we were able to drop off our luggage?s in the room and get ready before going to the water park. The rooms were decently good, clean, the kid room was nice too. All the planned activities were so much fun for my 3 yr old

We enjoyed our stay at GWL, check in at 4, however room was ready close to 5. The rooms were sufficient but more lighting and a plug in the kids den for electronics/nightlight would have been helpful. You have to request more towels and trash bags, toilet paper, etc as you need them. Rooms are not serviced unless you request. There is a commercial microwave and ice machine close on all floors which is helpful. The water park has tons to enjoy for all ages. Lifeguards are relaxed, and keep eyes on the w

I could not praise this place enough. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Every staff member that came within eye contact greeted us, asked if we were enjoying our stay, and if they could get us anything. The room was clean and free from any odors. The check in and out process was easy and we were even able to check in early. Our family was able to take advantage of the Waterpark prior to check in as well as the day of check out. It was hands down one of the best experiences we've had at a "hote

We stayed for a weekend here and had a blast! The room was very clean and spacious enough for our group of 4. We got a wolf den for the kids and they LOVED the bunk beds & having their own little space. The Waterpark was clean and warm which is where we spent most of our time. If you want chairs make sure you go early to save yourself some spots to sit and have your things!! I was not aware there was a holding fee in case of damages that I had to pay on arrival. It was $200 for our 2 night stay. I went to t

Cleanliness and customer service were both A+. The centralized design of all of this has pros and cons. We didn't have to run around the building to get everything, but the kids were seeing everything. Since we planned on doing an all attraction pass, it wasn't as big a deal as if we hadn't planned to do so. Food was expensive, but expected, just wish there had been more healthy options. No indoor hot tub or adult spaces was a negative (multi-generational family traveling together).

This Great Wolf lodge was a mix of good and bad. Since it's fairly new the room I stayed in was good and clean and the water park was great and fun for the kids. One thing I really missed was the lack of a hot tub that kids can enter like they have at the one I went to in the Williamsburg, VA location. They don't even have a hot tub for adults! After coming out of the water it can get pretty cold and having a hot tub for kids, or even just the parents should be a must! Hope any new Great Wolf Lodge's all in

This was the first time we have ever stayed at a Great Wolf Lodge, and we will definitely be back. Every staff member was so friendly and hospitable. Everyone we passed made sure to speak to us and to ask if we were having a good time. There were plenty of events planned all day. Our 2 year old had plenty to do at the water park as well. It is best for older kids but still found plenty for her to do at the wave pool and the small slides. We had nothing bad to say about GWL and can't wait until our n

I was highly disappointed. I thought this would be a little more upscale than what it was. It took us 2 hours to check in and get to a point to eat lunch. It was like a free for all. No real schedule or way to go about the place. No direction. Then the Timber's staff weren't helpful at all. The ordering menus are confusing. The staff were also rude and arrogant. I got a few ad ons and they were a waste for me. If they had a little more flexibility in the meals, it would have been better. I was charged for i

The 4 stars reflects based on a similar style place (camelback, kalahari etc) & not to be taken out of context as GWL in no way compares to a true 5-star resort. To be fair, we are here over springbreak so it is crowded. That being said, I imagine Great Wolf Lodge knows these are busy times therefore should plan ahead. Very, very crowded. Slow. Hard to check in, get rooms, etc. It is now about 30 minutes after check in time & we are told our room is not ready & could take "hours". Cleanliness is actu

It's a Great Wolf Lodge so expect all the kids and harried parents. If you are sensitive to noise, be prepared. They do have quiet hours from 11 pm to 7 am, however. The staff is very nice and the hotel is huge. Prices are at theme park level. Stayed due to sports tourney nearby.

First time ever coming to Great Wolf Lodge It Is overated to much money for how Small It Is . You can't use Cash! (Staff member couldn't tell us where ATM was) Don't worry they have a reverse ATM for a Small fee you can get a card. The bowling & mini golf are so small. Literally the lazy river is a crazy kids acting a muck they don't have enough floats for people. Spent a ton of money to leave with a headache. Then a stale hot pretzel was $9.99. Literally the worst experience ever. I would have been so ma

The hotel side was great, the employees were lovely. My main issue was with the water park and food. I guess I should have assumed with it being an all in one resort hotel that the food would be average, and that it was. We even made a reservation for the sit down restaurant assuming it would be better (I can't remember the name) but the food wasn't any tastier than the walk up restaurants around the waterpark. Then the waterpark was underwhelming, it didn't seem very clean. The areas were small. The toddle

This is a review from my 7 year old son: This is the best hotel ever. I love it. I want to come here every year and that's what I do since I was like five this hotel is so cool! If you stay here you're going to love it. Here is the thing I love the most. I really really love the toilet bowl water side at the water park. And I really love the food and I really loved the bowling alley and that's all.

We just celebrated our grandsons 4th Birthday at Great Wolf Lodge and we all had an amazing time. Check in was at 4 but our room was ready when we got there at 12 so that was a nice surprise. The girl at check in was phenomenal. Every staff member was super nice. The place was crowded but not to the point that it felt like it was overwhelming. The place was clean the water park is amazing and there are dining options if you are on a budget

Little pricey, and insanely crowded but kids had a great time. Lines for slides got really bad in the early afternoon though, like 45 minutes to go down one slide. And almost every seat in the place was taken. If you don't want to stress about having some space, look into a cabana well in advance. Big Bear Suite was very nice and clean, no complaints. Text message concierge is responsive. Only one entrance/exit other than emergency ones. Good for keeping the kids safe. The nicer restaurant on the right on

I got cellulitis from the wave pool. Kind of scraped my toe but it didn't bleed so I didn't know it was abraded. By that night, my toe was swollen, red, and hot. Asked to speak to someone in first aid, waited 20 min or more but no one came. Urgent care diagnosed cellulitis. Never had that happen before at a water park. If you even THINK you might have even the tiniest scrape, go immediately for antibacterial wipes. There were other reviews talking about this, so maybe they have chronic water treatment probl

We took our granddaughters, one had her 13th birthday, along with my daughter and niece and nephew and just returned, we all had a blast. So much to do, water park, ropes course, bowling, mini golf, dance party at night and story time and so much more. Great food, rooms were together and the girls loved their sleeping area, we paid extra to get the unlimited activities and it was well worth it. They loved every minute of it and didn't want to leave. Everyone slept well due to being exhausted. Will return ag

Our family trip to Great Wolf Lodge became a traumatic experience that we will never forget, for all the wrong reasons. My 11-year-old son was physically accosted by an intoxicated adult male while on the property. When we reported it, staff refused to take his word seriously simply because he's a child. They did not immediately review video footage. They did not call the police. They did not remove the adult from the property. Instead, my son had to see the man who harmed him later that night in the arcad

Great Wolf Lodge in Maryland is an okay place. I think the one in the Poconos is much better, but its also further away. Going into this place, you know what to expect... crazy kids, rude parents, and expensive. The overall cleanliness of the place was pretty bad, and looks like the pools need work (even after only being open a short time). The most thing I was disappointed in, they are now charging a daily parking rate for hotel guests? Just another money grab, and a way to milk out more money from its gu

Lodge is clean, great and kid friendly, BUT, you have to go out the lodge to buy food, drink, and everything else because everything inside is ridiculously expensive. $15.00 parking fees even though I have a room. 4 burgers is $56.00 , popcorn is $30.00 and E.C.T . Also is cashless, you have to have a cards to pay for everything why? They always wanted your info when try to buy anything, like phone #, email, why? Anyway my kids had a great time there but I don't think I'll come back again. Sorry ??

We stayed in room 3119, wow up to my son kidding a bed bug in the king size bed.inwemt to customer service and she acted like no big deal . After having all clothes treated that was half the day gone. We were provided tokens to the arcade after complaining because all our swim gear was in the old room. We got a new room , 4th floor at the end of the row. Who built that place is crazy not having 2 elevators to separate the walk. After specking to the head manager we got a call when we got home , no follow

Of course kid friendly. less than 1 hour drive. service was great. my grandson bought 2 friends to celebrate his 8th birthday. our room had bunkbed area separate so I could get some sleep. perfect!

Amazing, well trained and friendly staff! Hotel room was clean, and shampoo/body wash/lotion included. We came here for my daughters birthday (her request after our first visit last year), they gave her a bday pin and even the cleaning staff wished her a happy birthday on the way to our room (we didn't even get the birthday package). Safe swim areas for all ages, life vests also provided, easy access to food and lobby with ropes course, mirror maze, bowling, putt putt, dining, gift shops, and other Wolf Pac

My friend's family of 7 took vacation here and were playing in the Arcade when the power went out. They had just put money into the machines ($20 on one) went the electricity quit and ate their funds. No refund. They returned to a dark room. Likely had to use call phones for any light. This is a trip hazard and safety issue. Restaurants and other paid amenities were all closed due to storms, and no food was available, also a problem. They were told no compensation in terms of a future stay, and the only way

Oh My Goodness! I was super flustered when I came in and Dannilene was everything!! Absolutely Amazing! She answered all my questions, assisted us with services, and really helped us plan for a great stay for our son's birthday! She is am excellent asset to The Great Wolf Lodge Team! Thank you for having her!

Overall, it was a nice stay. We enjoyed the clean room. The beds were comfy, and check-in was super easy. The only negative would be how dirty the steps were at the water park. There was lots of dirt & hair. I thought by the next morning they would be clean, but no. I would recommend wearing fitted water shoes so you don't get gross hair on your feet from walking up the stairs to the water slides. Also, I'm not fond of the parking fee either!

Our family has been here before and was very pleased on our first visit last year. This year they start charging $15/night for parking. It's not as if this is in the city where parking is tight, who else parks here other than guests of the resort? Imagine going to a restaurant where you get charged utensils? Would you go back? Even if the food is the bomb, wouldn't you feel like you got set up? Also our view out of our room is not great, it feels like we are in a prison cell. How do you feel about paying

Kimberley was so friendly and helpful. The Great Wolf Lodge has done such a good job of making us feel welcomed. You can tell the staff enjoy what they do and where they work. Nearly every time we crossed paths with a staff member we commented on what a great culture Great Wolf Lodge has. Kimberley was a perfect example of a positive experience with your staff. Thank you for everything!

The family did enjoy the water park but there were many accommodations that could use improvements. - The room was nice but there was no bathroom vents. - No towels, washcloths, soaps or toiletries for a room that accommodates 6 people. When requesting toiletries I was told to buy them at the gift shop and rags/towels were left in a bag on the hallway floor without he courtesy of anyone knocking at the door to acknowledge delivery.. - Daily room service is by request only but there is no documentation in

During our one-night stay, there was a 2.5 hour power outage due to a strong storm. The staff handled everything gracefully but there were no kitchens working during dinner time. When the power came back, the dining staff moved quickly to set up a buffet to feed all the guests. Our autistic son had requested pizza for dinner, but I asked learned that pizza was not part of the emergency buffet. However, one dining staffer, Rebecca N, heard my request and stopped me to say that they would make us a pizza

We had a really fun family experience overall, some minor things stood out ? First, the beds and pillows were really uncomfortable for me personally, which made it hard to get a good night?s rest. Also, while I understand it's a resort, there's a fee for almost everything. We purchased a pass for the kids thinking several perks were fully included (and some were), but it felt like a marketing gimmick to upsell more items ? for example, the kids? pass comes with a wand, but you still need to purchase the pow

Drove pretty far to get here for my daughter?s birthday weekend. As soon as we get to our room we pull out the sofa bed and there was something nasty on the mattress. Then there was some suspicious brown spot on my sheets as well. Under the pull out couch was disgusting. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room for the hundreds of dollars I spent I spent to stay. The staff was kind, but for such a high price, it should?ve been cleaned properly upon arrival.

We had been to the Poconos location previously so I was a little worried that this one would be similar. This location was amazing. It was very clean which is a must for any place we travel. The rooms were clean, no stains. There were plenty of elevators but it is a hike to get to and from the elevator area depending on where your room is. A family member with us has some mobility issues and she did have a tough time getting back and forth to the elevators so if you have anyone that has a hard time walking

Excellent experience, even for a vegan family. Across the street is a burger place with vegan options, and inside, there's a pizza place that offers cheese less pizza. They also serve veganized breakfast food at the breakfast spot inside ??. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and kid friendly. Didn't see the promised microwave, though ??. Parking was accessible and worth your time waiting for someone to leave. Drop off and pickup was not a hassle. The swimming area was elaborate enough to

We had a great time at Great Wolf Lodge. This was our first time ever and we had a blast. The water park is huge and has plenty to do for all ages. Lots of various activities besides the water park, though some might be better suited for older kids, such as the climbing which requires a height of 48". Our room was clean and quiet and I especially appreciated the hotel reminding us all about quiet hours, which helped everyone sleep better. Didn't try the food and instead either brought our own or went out to

My kids were disappointed there wasn't a balcony, and I was shocked they didn't have a microwave; the only available microwave was in the Ice room that you had to scan your wristband to enter (and it smelled horrific in there). The location is meh - not a great number of restaurants or other options in the vicinity if you don't want to spend all day and night at the resort. But the employees, every single? one we interacted with, were incredible - happy to share pointers or their knowledge about GWL histo

We stayed at this location for memorial day weekend. I understand amusement parks will be pricy , that was not the issue but when receiving food example nachos they were very light on the nachos for the price should have been a meal for $17/18 but instead barely a snack. The pretzel place doesn't even fill the cup up with pretzel nuggets. They put the pretzel nuggets in and put the sauce on top of it. The kids meals and combos at that location can't get refills , it's soft drink refills should be standard.

Don't let the bad reviews deter you. We had a great experience - we arrived around 1030am on a Friday and check in only took about 5 minutes and our room was ready upon arrival. The entire facility was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Like others have said, your room may be very far from the one set of elevators (ours was) but you're barely in your room so it should not be a big deal. Other reviewers complained about the crowds. We didn't have any issues with this. You

We staying at the lodge for one night. A massive storm blew through and the power surged and was knocked out for over two hours. Ok nature happens. Staff made zero announcements during that time over any kind of system or loudspeaker. No one knew what was happening. We eventually had to the leave water park after word of mouth spread that the generator doesn't provide ventilation in the water area. Ok we go to our rooms. The generator also isn't power a single light inside the room or the basic window unit

Fun things to do and for all ages. A little overcrowded for a hotel, looks like a Disney park. Room was not cleaned through the 3 nights I spent there. First day they had a power outage because of a thunderstorm, generators only for lights (and I was in 5th floor, and they had to close the restaurants because of that) - it happens but should be noted.

Power went out during our stay?no A/C, no water park, no food, no lights. My daughter paid for parking and was promised a refund, but never got it. Instead, my sister was double charged. We were told we'd get a free late check-out and a \$50 food credit to make up for the issues?neither happened. When we asked, they denied ever offering them. Unprofessional and dishonest. Don't waste your money.

Too bad the food here is so bad! We love the lodge and try to come a few times a year. But the food is SO BAD, that we need to drive off premises to get something decent. And this significantly adds to the friction of coming. Btw I am not even talking about prices. I am talking crappy, uneatable, junk fast food. Please fix your restaurants. You'd get a ton more customers!

Before I say anything my family of 4 had a great time here, we stayed 3 days 2 nights and Every person/staff was helpful and attentive. This place will nickle and dime some options and the bowling alley could be cooler if there was an area for bigger kids too. We were hoping for a normal sized alley. The food is very pricy so think of this before you come. The buffet was a nice price for 4 people. They held the hold fee they give at check in for an entire month now. If you want to go just make sure you have

Great vacation with our adult kids and grandkids. Quite expensive, so be ready to pay extra for just about everything! Our water park fee was included in our room fee, so we just did the water park the two days we were there, and that was plenty to keep us busy! They also have bowling, mini golf, a high ropes course, and interactive displays for the kids which you have to buy a magic wand to activate. All these other activities are at additional cost, although you can buy packages to help defray some of tha

Upon our arrival the front desk were outstanding! Our family had an amazing time at the waterpark attraction. My husband lost his keys and the security and front desk staff were on top of finding his keys and reporting them back to front desk staff. The food was ok but not worth the cost. Now, the rooms were nice but the pull out sofa was extremely uncomfortable and I wish that rooms had a microwave. Especially when you have small kids, I think that should be an automatic appliance to add to a room when you

My experience was not the best for a specific reason. Overall the lodge is a great concept that the Baltimore location executes poorly. Now I went once for a day, so maybe it was just a bad day but there are quite a few cons. 1. You pay for everything, including parking. The only thing free is a pair of wolf ears-which they don't tell you about. I had to figure out where everyone was getting them. 2. No where when making my reservation stated you can use the water park before and after your reservation. So

Actually had what I'd consider a ?Surprisingly? good time. Family was in really good spirits throughout our ~(Only) ?Extended Weekend? stay. Staff was Really courteous and friendly. Food was Decent; qualm could?ve been that it Wasn't ?eat-at-Any-time? and instead Only at certain times. Overall tho, VERY Highly recommended!!

When we arrived and checked in, we were shocked to hear the resort takes ZERO cash. We were also shocked to find out they charge for parking plus an additional $200 room charge which we have yet to get back. Our room was dirty and found old food shoved behind the bunk beds. The shower containers were empty and the shower drain did not work. It just overall felt dirty. The walls were paper thin and we listened to a young child cry in the room next to us the entire weekend. The food at the buffet was awful

Parking was crazy. The customer service, rooms, dance party, mini golf, climbing obstacle, water park,, breakfast buffet ALL 5 stars. The kids had the time of they life. Only took away a star because that restaurant was not worth all that money. The waitress was awesome but the food absolutely sucked. If the parking wasn't so bad we would have went somewhere else for dinner. I suggest you order in or go out for dinner. The casino being across the street for night time adult fun ...big plus....

Slept horribly due to the incredibly loud air unit that was probably directly above my room it seems. Kept me up all night. There's no hot tub in the park which was literally the only thing I was looking forward to. I'm guessing they only have it for the summer time outside? how convenient? the employees don't seem to mind to allow a nice cool breeze for themselves right by the kiddie pool. Lazy river was BS. The slides were the only thing that was fun . It's honestly small compared to any great wild lodge

This place isn't worth the price. The water park isn't very big, a one day pass would?ve sufficed for us since we only live an hour out. I thought it was on the pricey side when booking- 2 night stay with one kid was $700 for the most basic room & park passes. This didn't include food, parking, or anything extra. Went for it anyway expecting a grand experience.. Hotel hallways reek of mildew. The room itself was clean and comfortable enough if you're just there to sleep. TV hardly worked, fridge was warm, a

The most wonderful employees. There kindness makes a world of difference. The employees working the rides, food, and the games are great! Katie B at the rope course went above and beyond for my daughter when she found out she was scared to go up. Katie put on a harness to do the rope course with her. Love the staff.

Navene Boone no they were mocking me. They called the manager on me who ended up apologizing and giving me a huge credit. I took a video of what had happened after they started mocking me like literally saying everything. So much happened, including as soon as we got to our suite, the kids thought they found a gem in the bunk beds ? but it was actually candy stuck to it that was literally in plain sight so we decided to check the rest. There was crumbs and food all under our bed, shower didn't work so we tr

Fun place! Lots of different rides for various ages! Go midweek. You will lose your voice just trying to communicate on the busy days. You also just might come home sick too as nearly everyone in our 45ish member party did. The humid atmosphere is just a breeding ground and there's no air purifying possible. You will be climbing 5 stories for the big water slides. :-) The parking lot will smell completely like weed being so close to Baltimore. At least everyone is totally relaxed and chill though. (HA!). Th

This is a place for strictly kids. It's very small, you can hold You breath and walk to the other side of the building no problem. There's nothing here for adults except alcohol. How responsible of them to let the only adult thing to do is not be sober infront of your kids. There isn't a lot of lifeguards at the swimming section. It's every man for themself. The lockers are 20$ for the smallest ones. The lines for the slides are so long that you probably wait up to 20 minutes or longer to ride down a slide

Lovely family friendly resort. Secluded from the urban hustle and bustle. The water park is amazing, they have an inside, as well as the outside pool area. The food choices could be a tad better, but places like this usually tend to only offer fast/fried foods. Other than that, I highly recommend the place.

The water park and attendants were wonderful. Guest accommodations, Concierge and Management were disappointing. This is our secong trip, with another family group, to stay at the Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville, MD. I found this place to be expensive without quality. There were 3 red flags. One, I was charged a parking fee when the large lot was empty for the days we were there. Secondly, the duvets on the beds were covered by 2 sheets. This was the same in another room. Duvet covers are not provided. I wa

Overall, we had a great experience. The rooms were clean, check in and out was painless, prices were what we expected for an amusement parks. We do wish there was more for toddlers and preschoolers. But wanted to share an incident that happened regarding one of the lifeguards. While the lazy river was closed, a child (about 7) was in the lazy river and while the guard was blowing his whistle at him, he wasn't aware that the whistle was for him. After watching this lifeguard continue to blow is whistle, wit

This place use to be awesome. Now it's a day of stress and chaos. The lazy river now looks like an intercity ghetto pool. Unsupervised children not on tubes swimming up and down the river blocking the whole thing up. No staff enforcing the rules. Prepare to wait 35-40 minutes to ride any of the watersides because there is 1 staff member managing 4 different slides. Good luck finding a drink. All the 4 dollar per drink vending machines are empty. Never again.

Beware of the hidden fee monster! $15/day for parking even if you're staying at the "resort" as well as a $40/day "resort" fee. Also I hope you dont like coffee or alcoholic drinks or food because they will make you pay dearly. Alcoholic drinks in a can are almost $11 each. $20 for a personal cardboard flavored pizza. They have an onsite dunkin donuts but if you think you need a pick me up after running around the "resort" all day you better head to wawa cause in this "resort" dunkin closes at 5pm. The p

Everything was great with our stay the only thing that I didn't like was that they have this SUPER TINY hot tub that's only outside and can fit maybe 15-20 people if they're all shoulder to shoulder for the ENTIRE LODGE! I'd rather drive the 4+ hours to the Williamsburg VA location for this one reason since they have a hot tub bug enough for multiple families and it's adults only for that area so you can relax for a minute.

I must say this was a really great experience! It's really nice for children from one up to about twelve? It's so much to do; nonstop fun !it is especially fun with kiddos who loves to run around, dance and play all day! It Is also reasonably affordable. I would like to add, be ready to spend an extra penny for the meals on site. At this location, fast food restaurants are outside the premises and you're allowed to leave if needed. The rooms are cute and cozy. I would also say the twin beds and pull out couc

This place doesn't understand the key to the wallet is through the parents. Yes, this place is for kids but you have to cater to the parents if you want them to come back. First off, No valet parking and they charge $15/day even if you're staying at the resort for more than a day. We traveled from another state to be here so it would?ve been nice to pull up to a ?resort? and have valet parking along with some bell hops to grab our luggage especially with multiple young kids. Secondly, they have a Dunkin? Do

Staff had no idea how to help with anything. Rooms were clean, no microwave in room, it's in the hall and has to be shared. Fridge didn't work....they plugged it into a different outlet and said it kept kicking a breaker, couch sleeper was not a pull out mattress...more like a hospital couch. very uncomfortable. Charged me for wands and game at magiquest that were supposed to be included in my pass. Front desk charged more than my booking because they added 40 a night resort charge and 15 for parking

We stay at GWL every year for my son's Birthday Celebration. I may never return to this location particularly. My room was terrible . The bed was horrific . The pillows were so light . Not a firm pillow available there they said. So pack your own . ?? The shower was unacceptable. The shower curtain was moldy and to small for the shower rod. At the end of the night I was so happy to shower only to recieve nothing but a low pressure cold shower with no soap. So, I recommend showering early, early morning.

If I was anyone, I'd take the extra time and go to the Poconos for camelback or Kalahari. This GWL is terrible. First off, the chlorine levels are so high, you develop either chlorine rash, or develop chemical burns from the chlorine. Then, when you go to shower off in the showers at the waterpark, there's no body wash or shampoo. When I was drying off, there were flies in the stall, and it reeked of urine. The water park attractions are minimal and you'll get bored of it within 3 hours of being there, very

Absolutely Disgusting and a Complete Rip-Off ? Never Again! We had high hopes for our stay at Great Wolf Lodge, but what we experienced was a filthy, overpriced disaster. We were charged over $1300 for the room ? with a Groupon discount ? PLUS $40 per day for parking! That's outrageous for the level of grime and disappointment we were met with. The room was absolutely disgusting. The floors were sticky, and we found leftover food and wrappers from previous guests. The bathtub hadn't been scrubbed and stil

Great family experience for children of every age. My wife and I brought our 3yr old son and 2yr old daughter. The check in process was quick and easy. We went during the week. Not crowded at all. Price was pretty affordable compared to the weekend. Eating options all around the venue. There is no fitness center, however there is plenty of room to jog around the hotel. parking can be a problem. More so the distance from the venue if you are not luxury.

Sigh. I really want to love this place because the location is close and my kids love the pools and arcade. We've been every year since they opened the Perryville location. The first year, it was clean, but the staff was just miserable. We felt like we were bothering them! The first year, there were a bunch of charges on my card that I did not recognize, but we opted to have our bracelets linked to our room for all charges, so I could not control this, so I let it go. The second year, the staff was nicer, p

Excellent service from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left. Asked for a room close to an elevator for health reasons and they gave the closest room possible. So grateful! Kids had a blast, no trouble finding a place to sit, tons for everyone to do. We will be back!

Kids were unsupervised and one kid almost drowned because the parents weren't around. The room was nice but the air conditioner kept making a loud noise like a train I even changed rooms and the same thing happened. The water park is small but sorta fun. The food was a little cold but not the worst food ever.

My family and I stayed for a night with our extended family. I attended with my daughter for only 1 day. In that 1 day, I ordered 2 food items, and both items had chunks of plastic in them. I had to have both items remade. I did not ask for a refund but this would have been something nice to be offered given the circumstances. Instead, just getting the items remade was enough for me and I informed a kitchen manager about the issue as well as completed the survey they sent me after my stay to make sure someo

Two pack members helped me take care of feeding my husband that couldn't come down to dine with us because he recently had knee replacement surgery. They were so kind and attentive. It made for a great experience for our family. Thank you so much!

We've been here 4 times & our kids always have fun. This time, we found sheets stained with blood, juice, coffee and hair in all 3 beds; crumbs were stuck to the mattress of the couch bed; & dirty underwear were left next to the couch by previous guests. It took over an hour to have someone bring us new sheets while the kids were waiting to go to sleep. The next morning, I asked for a 12pm checkout since the kids couldn't lay down in their beds until almost 1am, which they did give to us, as well as a vouch

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
