Fitchburg, Massachusetts 01420
Great wolf lodge been here before last time I came here was just for the pool great deal 40 buck a person me and my daughter went spent our time there from 11 to almost closing time. Great spot location for me was about 1hr and 30 min. Great spot for adult and kids didn't try their burger there but their pizza was great rate the pizza 3.7/5 not too bad. If you're there just for the pool bring your own towel unless you're staying at the hotel they will provide it for you. They also have arcade and store if y
How can people leave negative reviews about this amazing place? If I could give more than five stars, I would definitely rate it a 10 out of 10. I have visited many water parks, and Great Wolf Lodge is far better than all of them. There are bathrooms everywhere, and they all smell great. I can't believe I never gave this nearby location a chance! My kids enjoyed every moment we spent there.
Brought our 13 yr old son and two of his friends for a couple of off-peak days. Had a great time. The boys loved it and they had a blast. I definitely wish I knew about this place when my other kids were small. I can see that this is such a cool place to bring really little kids as well. The staff was really nice and helpful. We had very few problems, but everything was handled very well. I think they empower their staff to really take care of people. I liked the room well enough. It was one of the
Had a great time here! Staff was excellent, super friendly, and helpful. The whole place was very clean. The rooms are comfy, clean and cozy. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I feel it is overpriced. However, once you stay there or become a member of the voyagers club, you start to receive incentives, like 50% off a stay and etc. I did not buy any extra passes to the other attractions. They are fun to do once, but not many more times than that and it's cheaper to just pay for the one time. With
Had an overall very positive experience. A couple of complications arose concerning the water park staff and amenities, all of which were resolved. We didn't try the food, only the breakfast which had something for everyone. The indoor water park is well designed with plenty to keep my kids (1-4 yrs) entertained. I will be coming back with my family.
I'll start by saying that my kids (5 and 3) loved it there, especially enjoying the variety of arcade games and the bunk bed suite. My biggest issue is with the constant upselling. There are a million ways to upgrade your experience for a price and a lot of that is marketed heavily toward the kids, so you're either going to constantly disappoint the children or spend a lot more money than just the room rate you paid for. The part that really stressed me out is the time outside of your room reservation when
Great adventure fun! Lots of amenities. Definitely geared for families and children. Front desk doesn't always answer, young lifeguards make it tough. Senior staff can alleviate any situation. Thank you! We will be back
For an indoor water park, it was awesome, especially for children! The ropes course workers named Ari and Sam were extremely kind and helpful to those wanting to complete the ropes course and guided them through it. The retail workers in the gift shop and arcade were kind as well, especially Sarai. The buffet was fairly decent but the hard-working staff there made the experience more high quality. I do recommend this place for children, but do be warned that the food is expensive inside the hotel.
Staff was great, activities are awesome (magiquest & rock mining were my personal favorites) plenty of parking & despite being there fri/sat it wasn't busy to the point of being impossible to navigate. 4 stars for the room because I personally felt the lighting was rather low, but the beds were comfy, & no noise from other rooms but lots outside the door (during open hours) 4 stars for location as it was a bit of a drive, & while it's right off the highway it's also in the middle of nowhere - aside from a c
As first timers, we didn't know what to expect but we were VERY impressed! We checked in at the desk with a young lady named Jen. She was amazing at explaining where everything was, how the wands would work and helped us add a cabana to our stay. Every interaction we had with staff was amazing, which led us to Alicia our attendant for the cabana. She was out of this world amazing. She was personable, funny, accommodating, quick and had an amazing way about her. After spending the day pool side, we changed u
I want to start by saying every staff members we interacted with, the concierge, the life guards, the maintenance man, were beyond polite. The rooms were large and roomy but our chairs were wobbly and broken and the handle broke on our sink the second I touched it. Maintenance came and repaired it quickly though. The beds were hard, the pillows were lumpy, and the walls were thin and you could hear everything in the hall or in neighboring rooms. The water park was fun and my kids loved it. We were shocked
We had a super fun time at Great Wolf Lodge! Our kids are 4 and 5 and everything was so family friendly. They loved their "wolf den" themed bunk beds! The wristbands are super convenient- they can get you into your room and pay for food and drinks. It's nice to not have to carry a room key or wallet when going to the water park! The water parks and the arcade are fun! Things are a little expensive, I recommend bringing food for your own breakfasts and lunches if you want to save money. We plan to go back!
Feedback for Great Wolf Lodge: 1. The mattresses are like sleeping on a lumpy trampoline. No one in our room got a good night sleep. With the new renovation, please include better mattresses. 2. There should be meat free salad, options available. I shouldn't have to pay $15 for a chicken Caesar salad and ask not to have chicken that's absurd to be charged the same price when I'm removing the meat. 3. Everything in the room was pretty much broken, including the TV the phone and the coffee maker. 4. Unfortuna
Today we drove two states away to start our four day, three night vacation with three kids under 4. Destination: Great Wolf Lodge in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. We were a day behind getting there, but accepted that we had lost out on a day of vacation. Well, turns out being a day late to your reservation means you miss out on your entire vacation. When I went to the desk to check in, I was told that since we did not check in on the first day, the reservation was canceled and the room had been sold. No contact
Was a great place lots to do the water parks were very well maintained life guards right there to ensure your l/0 safety. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Was a bit noisy though that's expected with l/o nothing the resort had control over. I would definitely recommend.
They truly were the best!!!!! Most happy go lucky personalities would go out of their way to make the kids feel comfortable at their attractions! Not that it was just their job for them! That they actually enjoyed their time being at work! Makes a huge difference and can be easily picked up on! Never once felt like a burden or annoyance approaching any of them and asking any kind of questions! Truly a job well done! Made me wish I could work in a place like that with people like them! Thank you for making o
Emily helped us twice in the arcade, she is so nice and patient. Priscilla helped us check in at kiosks, was also great. Unfortunately the young women (glasses) running the summer camp trail blazer program, giving out lanyards was incredibly rude to my son. Twice. After yoga tails, she was handing out lanyards and my son was asking questions and obviously interrupted because he's a child, & the second time was during Wiley?s character appearance. Both times Wednesday morning. She probably isn't fit to be ar
Shiv went above and beyond for my family and me. The kitchen made a mistake on our order and shiv made sure we were 100% satisfied anyway. He is polite, kind and just enjoyable to have as a server. You are lucky to have such a great employee.
I'm writing this review for families on a budget: The resort is full of perfumes and chemicals, which make you feel crappy throughout the day. The concept is cool, but the entire establishment is a money grab. Pros: -Lobby Entertainment -Decent guest services -Fairly priced buffet Cons: -Filthy pool area. I contracted a skin rash that needs medical attention. -$15/night to park. This was not mentioned while booking. -Cash is not accepted anywhere. This was not mentioned while booking. -If you bring
Let me preface this by saying every review I read didn't add up to the experience our family had on our trip. We checked in at 4 on Saturday and were met with Ethan as our guest agent. Ethan was pleasant, polite and made our check in process easy. This was on a busier day of the week plus with schools being on vacation it was bustling to add but no line while checking in. Elevators were slow but to be expected with the amount of people up and down and trying to squeeze in we ended up just taking the stairs
My son passed out. And Amanda went all in to help my son. She was so nice and made everything so easy and very helpful. My son says that she loved the way she took care of him until I arrived. So my family and I are very grateful ????
I took my son for a mommy/son weekend. I don't understand negative comments. We had an amazing time. Remembering to look at this place through the eyes of a child is magical. We had a 10/10 experience. All of the staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating. No complaints. I definitely suggest getting at least 1 weekday in if you can. Weekends are busy but it did not take away from our stay. Thank you to the amazing Fitchburg location staff.
First I will say that my son (1.5) and nephews (5 and 7) enjoyed the water park. That said, my son had a hard time staying in the water longer than 20 minute increments, he was shivering and blue lips, the water is heated but it was still a little too cold in my opinion for littles. Older nephews didn't have a problem with water temp. We went Thursday-Friday and the water park and hotel were absolutely packed at all times and I heard from other people we talked to that that wasn't even as full as it gets. T
Been coming here for years. We had a kids cabin, which had tons of room. Our fridge that was in our room was leaking. Had maintenance come and check it out. They ended up replacing it since it was most likely an older fridge. Went down to the pool the next morning and had a cabana, which was awesome! Definitely worth getting if you don't want to fight for chairs. Only issue I had was the wave pool was extremely slippery as well as the kids section. I watched multiple people fall down walking in them. Those
We went there for my toddler's Birthday as a family vacation. The location is quite accessible. Even though it's close to a highway it doesn't feel like that. We skipped the long line with an online check-in kiosk. And it was easy, but it didn't show any room. Those details come to your phone and email. There are plenty of kids activities from Thursday to Sunday listed near the entrance where the small stage is. The children's pool area was warm and lots of kids were there too on a Friday evening. There are
That was great time with my family. I like it and I will definitely come back. But there are some things that I don't like: 1. We pay and come only for water park for half day like from 4-8p.m but we must pay 20$ for parking . It's tooo much?.it's no difference if you come for some days or whole day or some hours ????. 2. Children over 2 years is the same price as adult. Usually is over 3 years in other places or even half a price. 3. Customers service is so bad. I had some questions and I called them and I
Sales team is trash and the reservation desk the lady that picks up and doesn't help but will put you back in the Que to have to wait on the line or hang up on you. If you try to book for a birthday party and get Liliana Loseman as your rep go and book your kids party elsewhere! She doesn't answer the phone nor does she return phone calls. I was advised her boss the director would call me Monday morning at 8am and nobody called. These people have terrible customer service and I would never recommend them fo
We showed up a day late, so they sold the reservation out from under us. Instead of letting us stay the remainder of what we booked, they sold the room and wouldn't let us stay. Explaining the situation to a 4 year old went exactly how you would expect. Bathroom was gross on top of everything.
Our inaugural visit to GWL surpassed our expectations, prompting us to desire a longer stay to fully appreciate the amenities. Although we were only booked for one night, we quickly discovered the need for more time. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, offering an array of fresh fruit and kid-friendly options. We also enjoyed the Italian dinner buffet, which was equally well-executed. Throughout our stay, we received exceptional service from start to finish. I would recommend bringing strollers for childr
I should have known how the stay was going to be when as soon as I checked in I was informed of the "corporate" decision to charge $15 a day parking. Thankfully the girl at the counter said they would only charge me for 1 day. I rented a cabana for the day by the wave pool and paid extra for the upgrade to deluxe. When I asked about the upgrade I was told the only thing we get is the location. That is not what It showed online for Deluxe. Deluxe Package Ensure you have everything you need for a day of pl
Pictures on their website are mostly not even from this facility. Rooms are very dated and poorly maintained, still fun overall for the kiddos. Not all waterslides operational though. Staff were outstanding, polite, and attentive. Highly recommend a weekday, it would be wayyyyyy too people-y on a weekend.
When I after when I left I had a burning sensation on my whole body and face. The pain at first wasn't bad after more time the pain became worse than before and I found unassailable items. AND I ALMOST DROWNED. But at least I knew how to swim. at the wave pool and why I almost drowned is that the wave where so big that it swallowed me and I was drowning under water but at least I swam up. Now I'm going to talk about the good stuff like the rooms, so the rooms were nice and comfortable, the beds were Nicely
????? An Unforgettable Weekend at Great Wolf Lodge! We recently spent the weekend at Great Wolf Lodge and I have to say, we were completely beyond satisfied with our stay. Initially, we were quite nervous about the trip because we had heard horror stories regarding cleanliness and bed bugs. However, our experience couldn't have been more different. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. Not a single bedbug in sight, and everything was spotless. The staff were incred
The water park was dirty and disgusting. Lots of trash on the floor and in the pool! Bathrooms by the wave pool smelled of urine. The showers had black mold.We always seem to get sick. During Covid the place was clean but not the last few years. Hand sanitizer dispensers empty. Very expensive!
Everything in this resort is designed to extract as much money as quickly as possible from you $15 parking, $10 lockers, etc etc. Booked an "upgraded" room for children which is actually outside one of the main entertainment areas. No sound attenuation so you need to put up with the noise of people screaming until 10pm minimum. No choice here just "put up with it". Generally kind staff but they look like they don't want to be there and seem detatched and numbed to the situation. Excessive rules which make n
Great place to bring the family for the day. Both water and non-water activities for the kids. Lot of different areas to explore and highly recommend the Adventure pass if you spend more than a night here. Just be aware there is a $15 extra a night fee to park in their lot.
Let me help you in saving time and money. This was a fun vacation. The kids did have fun BUT it was most definitely not worth the cost of staying there or the extra activities. It was also not as much to do as they make it seem. It's really not much at all. Save your money and go to a larger outdoor water park during the summer time.
Had a great time with my kids. Every single staff member (other than the person at the arcade prize shop) was BEYOND helpful and friendly. All had a great attitude and were very kind and attentive to the kids. Breakfast buffet was good however the ?Italian? dinner buffet was absolutely terrible. Almost $30 a person and I ate maybe half a plate of food. Otherwise it was a great experience. Hope to go back when the construction is completed. I do wish the lifeguards in the toddler area payed more attention to
Decent place. I feel like it is a little more geared towards younger kids, but still things to do for adults and teens. I wish the lazy river was bigger, but again that's something that has a lot of younger kids. The rooms are okay. I like the decor in the rooms (and the halls) with the exposed wood. The fit and finish isn't great though with chipped edges, paint, stains, etc... The restaurants are good, but pricey considering. The check in price is automated, but through booking.com I had to talk to
We got a waterpark daypass on groupon with a link to register purchase but then had to call and give WAY TOO MUCH personal information to register the Groupon. I cannot recommend groupon but will likely do it again now that i know how and how much time it takes. The waterpark is phenomenal. I found an adult per child works best if one child doesn't like slides or is too small. The food is horrid and excruciatingly expensive. The beverage counter in one part of park was closed and other side cost $50 for 2 c
"Absolutely filthy ?GM Alex Matthew let this happen." I emailed GM Alex Matthew before our stay to ensure the room would be clean, and he didn't respond before or after our trip. Once inside, the room was disgusting: visible hair on bed sheets and in the bathroom floor, outdated pillows, filthy curtain, crumbs and crushed candy all over the floor... Clearly, housekeeping standards are non-existent. Even worse, after checkout, my emails were completely ignored by the so called GM. No apology, no follow
I'll start with the ugly (don't worry there is also good and bad coming up), it's fine to nudge your customers for additional spend while they are on site but forcing every child who wants to go to the water park through the ?walk of arcade? and having to pass loud and noisy video games for a few minutes of walking just isn't a nice thing to do to your guests, overloading the poor kids with so much noise and lights isn't even an honest thing to do with paying guests. Also charging a 15$ parking fee where ev
Probably the most disgusting great wolf I have ever been to. The place has so much air freshener in it to try and cover up the mold smell it is insane. The staff is rude and obviously under paid. They are very unaccommodating. Save your money and spend it elsewhere. Fyi. If you book make sure you don't want to cancel. You will never be able to book that room at the same rate again if you try to move the date. They opened a new location near the casino here and I can't be bothered. Just another shitty cash g
Our first time going to Great Wolf in Fitchburg MA and we were not impressed. We stayed for 2 days/2 nights, and took our 6 and 4 year old. There is a $15 parking charge per night which seems ridiculous. We did not return the towels to the pool area because no one told us we had to. They charged us $60 for this the day after we left. $20 per towel. I called and complained and was happy that they removed this charge but still cannot believe they charge people $20 per towel if left in the hotel room without a
Rooms need updating, but for a kids trip they loved it. Waterpark clean would get cabana next time to have more personal space/table. Got the bday package was worth it wish could custom it a Lil. Wish could pay a little extra for early access most open at 9 but young kids up at 6...hard to have them wait few hrs. Overall good time pretty $$ but ways around spending easy
This is basically a casino for kids - loads of fun and a great way for parents to let their kids let our their energy. The pool areas were great.. only issue we had was our son got a ?yellow? band which he took off for the water slides and the next day the woman refused to give him another to let him go down which was very disappointing especially because we had told her he already went down the day prior a few times. The service was prompt to the rooms. I would recommend they leave water bottles in the roo
During our stay, we were disappointed to find the water park under construction, limiting our enjoyment. The rooms were clean, although improved soundproofing would be appreciated. The restaurant, while small, offered delicious food. However, the buffet area lacked appeal and offered limited options beyond children's favorites like chicken nuggets, fries, pasta, and pizza. Please be advised that cash wasn't available as a form of payment.
Rooms were great but the location was very loud as it was adjacent to the ropes course and arcade (holy crap, the air hockey was so freaking loud ??). Absolutely no complaints about anything else at the facility! The kids had a great time and we definitely got our money's worth.
If this place isn't proof that certain cleaning products and mold make you sick, than I don't know what is. We stayed 2 nights and the first morning I woke up/the rest of the trip, I felt incredibly lethargic and hung over. Might I add, I do not drink alcohol. My husband contracted a full body skin rash from the pool that spread all over his entire body within a few hours. We just got home, and now he needs medical attention because it will not go away. The pool is the only activity that doesn't cost extra
David (with the wings) has been AMAZING every single time we come here. My son who is on the spectrum adores him, and he always makes time for us and makes us feel special. He is so good with my son Michael. When we found him yesterday my son yelled with joy and ran to give him the biggest hug. We always hope he is working when we come. He remembers us too!! He is patient, kind, and always friendly. He is truly wonderful. Seeing him made Michaels day. I love his character too!! What a great person!
Great Wolf Lodge has so much potential. It's sad to see how much they are focused on dollars instead the kids. From the time you book a room it is a scammy experience and that continues all the way until checkout. I can go on hour rants about the negatives. A couple positives would be obviously a indoor water park during the winter in New England, the packages they offer make it slightly cheaper, and the free kids show. I would recommend checking it out once and that's it. If corporate cared even a little t
I love this place . I've been at least 4-5 times so far . Plenty to do , love the arcade , build a bear, candy shop. Love the water park . My only complaint is food options. I think the buffet is overpriced for what is offered . At night can't go wrong with Pizza but plenty within. A 10 min drive to get food if needed. Staff are all very helpful and nice
Fantastic place. Wonderful for kids all ages, even for adults. They also continue to upgrade various slides they feel are too dull. I noticed after last years visit a basic slide turned into an incredible one.
Wasn't planning on writing a review, but here I am. Unfortunately all three kids I brought to Great Wolf this week came home with a chemical burn from the unacceptable levels of chlorine in the water in the water park. They took showers every night as well to wash it off, but unfortunately, that didn't prevent the chemical burn. Then, when I looked it up on Google, there was an article about how children were getting chemical burns from there back in October 2024. Take this as your warning! I'm not going
ABSOLUTELY not worth it. They nickel and dime you for everything after charging an arm and a leg to begin with. An entire attraction was under construction while we were there and they didn't offer any compensation. Also, it's filthy. The floors around the Waterpark area are filthy and the smell is awful. Stay away! There are way better places for families that this dump. Update - I've tried reaching out to them re incorrect billing and still no response after 5 email attempts. See response below. I hav
TL:DR - absolutely not, don't waste your money. Only reason I went was it was a gift. Probably the worst resort I've ever been to. 3/10 for winter because it was an experience. 1/10 any other time because other options are just better. I'd go-to the beach over this place. I don't even know where to start. They say check in is at like 4pm? We got there at 2pm and the line just grew as time went on. Saturday was an absolute disaster. Part of the water park was under construction, had to pay $15 a day to par
We only had day passes this time but it was still the best time and the highlight of the grandkids summer vacation. They were visiting from Tennessee and so far the highlight. Can't wait for them to come back in October so we can do it again but overnight.
Family fun for me and the kiddo. Magic quest was fun. Only one part of the game glitched. But definitely look into the paw passes they have! Made the experience so much better for good prices.
This is a good water park with nice activities for the kids. However, the service has gotten a lot worse. Let me start with the breakfast buffet. In prior years there was bananas but now they are gone. Or at least nobody is refilling the station where they are. Some of the other fruit was clearly old and smelled bad but nobody bothered to replace it. Then, the waitress asked me if I know I am eating gluten free toast. Let me make this clear: I was by the toaster when she walked up to me and asked me if I kn
Expensive, clean and fun. But you get a fun kids weekend. They could clean the waterpark floors a bit better, saw trash and bandaids as you were walking around. The rooms are definitely old and worn but not uncomfortable. They are definitely going to need a revamp soon to compete with the new location in CT.
Decent time with my kids we stayed in a double queen room that was nice and clean although pillows could have been more comfortable. We unfortunately came when one of the splash play areas were being remodeled and that took up a good portion of the park and with so many little kids having to play elsewhere there was far too many "accidents" that left other pools unusable for a good time. We also got the breakfast buffet option which in my opinion lacked options would definitely just get food from Dunkin nex
The unexpected fees just keep adding up! Very disappointed with the "incidental hold" of $100 PER NIGHT placed on my debit card, after already paying over $500 for 3 nights because they choose to be a cashless resort. So now I have to wait for MY money that I don't plan on spending here to be placed back into my account within 5-7 business days. As if that wasn't enough, they charge $19 per night for parking...what?! This is an incredibly commercial resort with very little charm. Their arcade fees are ridic
First time here for my family. We stayed in the wolf den suite, and it comfortably fit 6 of us. We loved the water park, our room, and all the stuff the lodge has to offer. Unfortunately, during our last night there, something was causing the fire alarms to go off, happened twice. Other than that, we had a blast.
30$ for parking... that was wild. 15 $ a day for "self " parking, when there was no valet option... in addition to the already high price of the room is wild.. check in was fine , tho it was crazy busy . we get to the room , it smells like feet , so we open the window. the machine outside makes a crazy screeching noise. . so does the Minnie fridge in the room , so we move it in to the bathroom to allow for sleep . the shower water pressure was a literal joke. half the water park was closed, forcing ever
Rooms were clean and nice, lazy river was TINY compared to 2 other GWL resorts we've been to, my heart sank when I saw it, as that was one of our favorite attractions at the other ones. Hot springs outside were very nice, unfortunately the area is small and very crowded. The water park is separated into 2 "rooms" which was a bit strange. You have to pay for parking which is a bit ridiculous. Magiquest was super fun, wands are $19.99 - $24.99, and the game is $15. We didn't bother with anything else, the m
I was excited about this place opening in CT, but the prices are absolutely ridiculous. Nearly $800 for just two nights? That's more than double what I pay every year for two nights at the Great Escape Lodge in Lake George, NY ? which has a great water park and a beautiful town to explore. I gave this place all 3s ? not because I stayed and had a bad experience, but because I can already see the greed. Just because it's new doesn't mean you get to rob people blind with a smile on your face. Opening your do
Our family visits GWL twice a year and we love it!! Our last trip did not end well when my daughter hit her head off the safe in our suite. The pack members were very professional and caring. They sent over Sophie from the aquatics team to help us clean and bandage the wound at 9:30 PM. We really appreciated that very much since I'm not good with blood at all! Thanks Sophie!
There was plenty of good and not so great on this trip. Overall I thought 90 percent of the staff was amazing and tried to go above and beyond in customer service, this did make a huge difference. Biggest issue, In my opinion, they oversell tickets in any given day. You literally could not sit or stand in certain areas of the water park because there were so many people. Could not move in the hot springs, literally. I get filling the place but when you can't enjoy certain areas ,consider it too crowded. I a
Visited the water park with my family. It was a large group for which we booked a suit. The room was clean, very spacious. Surprisingly it was quite too, since our door was next to the entrance where you have arcades & other activities.
We got water park day passes, which were super expensive for what you get. Almost double what a hurricane harbor would cost, pretty price gougey since they know in winter there's no other option. There was active construction, so parts were shut down. The lazy river's design matches the name, and it's very small. The tide pool was milquetoast. The water and air were way too cold for adults and children. Adults had goose bumps, and all the smaller kids were shivering so hard and trying to suffer through it.
Overall.. it was ok. Very crowded and food was meh. All the staff were very nice and friendly though. Kids had a good time. Biggest complaint is we were put in a room by an elevator overlooking the lobby and there was loud music playing until 9pm and you could hear people much later than that. We have young children. They go to sleep at 7-7:30. We were laying in bed and it sounded like we were in club. I would hope the hotel would at least warn guests who are put in these rooms that there will be loud mus
Having to pay $15 a night to park after spending all the money that you pay inside the place for food and the rooms and everything else. I don't think that the parking should be charged that's ridiculous. They're already getting enough money off of everybody. Also after eating in one of the dine in restaurants the food came out raw and had to send it back, the food came out less than 5 min later I don't know how. And for the price and quality and quantity it was terrible. Very disappointed. Also had purchas
I will start by saying all the workers were wonderful! We took our 2 year old to the water park on Sunday and I feel it was very overpriced. The place was way too crowded you could barely move around. I called to ask about a cabana rental and was told it would be $500!!!! They also charge $15 for parking there. The wave pool water was warm but the little kids area was cold and when you got out of the water the air was freezing. There was really nothing we could do with our son except the wave pool and the l
Brought my daughter and her friend here. Highlights...clean rooms, friendly staff and seems like there is plenty to do. Dislikes....riding one of the tube rides (scared of water) but I went anyway. I flopped out of the tube almost automatically. My daughter panicked because she couldn't find me, and at the end of the ride the attendant/life guard did very little to help me, once I was out of the water. Asked if I was having a "good time". Yes I always enjoy almost drowning and my daughter panicking because
We hosted our annual Showcase event in the ballroom of the conference center and it went so well! Lori R is very easy to work with. She makes the whole process so smooth. The GWL staff handled everything for us, and the event went perfect! The food/catering was superb, all the guests couldn't stop talking about it! Easy to navigate. Plenty of parking. They made the ballroom look elegant. Audio/visual equipment there is state of the art and readily available. Can't ecommend highly enough!
Took my sister's here for the day for $100/ea, I felt like it was a waste of money. There isn't a lot to do there, the staff member checking us in had a slight attitude but corrected herself after I made a comment...the water looked green and murky. One of the water rides is down so they have it blocked off taking up half the space in one of the room. To top it off the lockers are extremely small. Everythings over priced but thats everywhere. My sisters had an ok time they prefer the PA location over this
The place is fine but a huge section for kids my age was shut down leaving them with only one small section to play on. Some kids went through my bags while i was in the water with my kids and i noticed them playing with my sneakers in the water....snacks for my kids stolen and my phone was on the wet floor.... had to spend the rest of my trip with soaking wet shoes. Any extras cost an arm and a leg we spent 20 dollars for the arcade and 4 games stole the points on our game card. Most of the available parki
Absolute garbage of a company. Had booked a room for my son?s birthday and unfortunately had to reschedule (cancelled in the appropriate time window) and was told my deposit would be held. Life happens and I forgot to rebook another date. When I called to inquire about the deposit and reschedule a stay I was told it was gone! The reason was because I had not called for a year. After 3 calls I was basically told tough luck, they're keeping the money and no credit will be given. I didn't even want a refund!!!
Contacted customer service but were unwilling to help or offer anything to make up for the poor experience. Rooms have paper thin walls, worse than any apartment I have ever lived in. Park under construction and dirty. Prices high already, but you will receive added fees for parking ($15) and "resort fee" ($35). The park will take every opportunity to gouge you with expensive, poor-quality food, poor quality activities at a high premium, etc. When I asked, I was told the parking fees were mandatory, but th
It was a very nice experience, I am not a fan of going out during the winter, however, this place was fun for the kids and the grownups. Beer was not that expensive, food was fine. In general is a good place to take the kids have fun with them and share a drink or two with your couple or friends while watching the kids
Overcrowded and too small of spaces in the water park. Not enough places to sit. Greedy company. We all know places like this are expensive and overpriced, especially when geared towards kids- but this place is something else. They TIME your fountain drink being dispensed, count down by the oz and you can not fill past your cup size, so I don't recommend using ice. They are not upfront about extra charges, I was charged $50 because we rented ONE pool towel (returned it after our stay) do they charge for tow
I was really disappointed with our visit to Great Wolf Lodge. The water park had very few activities, and the water was uncomfortably cold, making it hard to enjoy. On top of that, the food was both overpriced and not very good?definitely not worth the cost. If you're hoping for entertainment beyond the water park, be prepared to spend a fortune. Nearly every other activity costs extra, which adds up quickly. To make matters worse, the whole place felt run-down and in need of some serious upkeep. We were
I'd like to start by the rooms. Never judge a book by its cover? from a distance the rooms look good especially in pictures. All until you get a close up look. The beds are the most uncomfortable things. The pillows are like lumpy cotton balls. Trying to sleep on the bed is painful. I think tent camping on the ground is more comfortable. The carpets are stained, curtains in the room are half broken. Veryyyy disappointed in the beds, pillows, and cheap blankets. The food ?options? are pretty sad. Ac
Nice place for kids and even teens, particularly on cold days or bad weather. Lots of water fun, but there's also mini golf rock climbing and arcade. Go with a group for most fun. Breakfast is on the expensive side. There are restaurants nearby though.
This was our first time going to GWL and while our 6 year old son had a great time, I was really surprised at how few water activities there were. I was also horrified at how they nickel and dime you. Breakfast buffet for 2 adults and 1 child wound up costing us almost $100. Every "dry" activity costs a fortune. It's very expensive and nothing is included. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable though. Food was good. Kids love it. Just not what I was expecting for the cost.
I will start with the good. All the employees were great. The beds were comfortable and rooms clean. This was my first time at a great wolf. The waterpark is the smallest I've ever been to. The lady river is so small. The amount of people there was just insane. We did go on a weekend and knew it would have more people but the water became instantly cloudy with the amount of people in it. The hot tub is small compared to other places we went. The wave pool is small. Everything just undersized for the amount
We stayed here for one night (two days) with our children (7 and 4) the water park had attractions to keep both entertained, however, the water park is VERY humid and you get smacked in the face with the smell of chlorine as soon as you walk in. The lazy river needs to be better monitored as there are kids that are swimming underwater, flipping tubes and pushing past other people trying to float. In my mind a lazy river is just for floating not free swimming / underwater swimming. You have to pay $15 for pa
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
