Reviews Summary

Great Wolf Lodge generally receives positive feedback for its family-friendly atmosphere, fun water park, and variety of activities. Many guests praise the staff's friendliness and the resort's ability to entertain kids of all ages. However, common criticisms include overpriced rooms, additional fees for amenities, uncomfortable beds, and occasional maintenance or customer service issues. While most visitors enjoy their stay and plan to return, some feel the value doesn’t always match the cost, citing nickel-and-diming for extras like parking and food. Overall, it’s a popular choice for family vacations despite some drawbacks.

What a fun time! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Plenty of room for our toddler to run around and play. The only downside to the room was that the patio wasn't blocked off, so maybe not the best for little ones. During the late morning/early afternoon it gets a little noisy as well, so bring a sound machine if you have little ones that need nap time. The fact that you get waterpark access all day during your check in day and check out day is awesome. Our son is a little under two, but there was sti

I want to recognize the outstanding service I received while obtaining my Cabana slip. Despite the demands of their role, this team member handled everything with professionalism, patience, and exceptional care. Their dedication and positive, bubbly demeanor, truly enhances the guest experience. However, the current check-in and guest service process places an unnecessary burden on staff and guests alike. Waiting in line for 45 minutes anytime you need something is simply not practical. Streamlining the sys

We've been coming to the Great Wolf Lodge for 4 years and about 6 times a year. My daughter dressed up like a little Wolf for her love of the place. Many parents and children loved it. Actually number employees gave her complements and told here how cute she was. Families smiled, took pictures and it brought joy. Management made her take off her Wolf mask, totally broke her heart. Telling us you cannot wear masks. However, I've been here many times during Halloween and many customers had masks on - ve

While this place is fun, and is self-contained, be prepared to spend A LOT of money. Everything is a charge. Charge on top of charge on top of charge. Other than that, we had fun. In particular, Deborah and Jessie at the front desk were great, helping us get checked in and getting our room mix up straightened out (we booked a Wolf Den Suite and were given a double queen). Alex in activities is a natural sales person, and Judy at the Camp Kitchen buffet is a delight. The kids had a blast doing the Magi Ques

We had a great trip! The activities kept the kids busy all week! We took our 4 kids ages 5-11, and there was something for every age to enjoy! The pools were great, and the service was excellent. It was SO worth buying the pass for the kids. Next time, though, I will ask ahead of time if there will be school field trips going on during our stay. There were bus loads of high school/Jr high kids that made our days by the pool quite obnoxious. They weren't chaperoned and were banging on doors and running aroun

Kids loved it! Overpriced plus there are lots of additional activities and things to buy! We didn't spend a ton of time at the indoor waterpark as my kids aren't adventurous, and we got cold quickly. We loved the big family tube rides and the wave pool. The food, other than a full pizza, is overpriced. There are LOTS of food options within 3 miles to eat elsewhere. My kids loved doing Magic Quest and the ropes course!

Convenient location with plenty of parking. Great recreational spot for adults and kids. They have Church Music Beer!! Hours and hours of fun. You won't get a sticker or pass , it is 19$ per day but on the honor system. It does not get you a shaded spot and the parking lot does not have a gate or security cameras that I saw. Get food package ahead of time. And the Wolf package which I think is 64 per person gives you access to everything. Bowling is 7$ per game. Arcade is sick!! They have plenty of acti

We went on a family stay-cation at the Great Wolf Lodge. There were some issues and some really good parts. We're willing to go back in the future but there are some issues that must be addressed. 1. Ice machines had slime and smelled so bad that the entire vending room smelled bad. 2. We chose a room with a patio and it was so covered with bird feces that it was unusable. The patio handle was also broken. 3. The "Wolf tail" ride was closed for our entire 2 days at the lodge. One of the main attractions w

We have loved every minute of our stay at the Scottsdale Great Wolf Lodge! The staff was all incredible! Every staff member we interacted with went above and beyond, and amazed me with how accommodating they were! You could tell they really cared and wanted to make everyone?s experience the best they possibly could! All of the staff was so friendly! Normally at places when you ask for things etc, they seem rude, stingy, and very strict on rules etc. But everyone here not only complied with our requests, but

Overall, we had so much fun during our stay! Our 1 year old loved the water, mirror maze, mini golf, and dance parties. The room was really nice and comfortable beds. Minimal noise from other rooms were heard. Some of the negatives were the slides weren't operating half of the time (which a worker said was per usual, so beware) The food prices are insane. You'll get better food in the area for half the price. They also were doing a maintenance check during our stay and knocked on the door while my baby was

It's a mixed reviews with pros and cons. I love the activities that they have for the kids. As I explained on other points in this review. I think for the price of the room the hotel could offer microwaves in the room, they could offer at the very least a complementary breakfast. There's a lot of cool things that they have to do at the hotel like rock, climbing ropes courses, and mining And mini golf, etc. But everything cost extra money. And it would be really cool if some of those things were included in

We booked a stay for Father?s Day weekend here since the kids have been begging to go here. Here are some of the positives: rooms are big, water slides are fun, themed decor, and plenty of activities for kids. Now on to the reason for 1 star: CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENT AFTER CHECKOUT. We received our final bill via email and it only included a single charge for parking. Nothing else. After reviewing our credit card statement there was a separate $100 charge, so we called and they said it was for ?2 un

Outstanding experience! The water park was fun but I had no idea about all the other activities. Bowling, ropes course, magi quest, and mini golf was really fun. The mirror maze was small but cool as well. Food was expensive but not gouging. $14 per meal per person. Overall a great experience. We will be back!

I must say I do not think this place is worth what it costs. $20 for parking after you already paid a lot of money for a room or tickets is greedy. It's a regular uncovered parking lot, not valet. There is no good signage when you enter the hotel and the reservation just says go to the front desk. I've never stood in a slower moving check-in line. After standing in line for 30 minutes to get day passes, Jessie took my payment for the parking and then proceeded to tell me that we need to go get out passes fr

Absolutely terrific place - don't know how anyone could rate it less than 5 stars. Certainly makes for an entire mini vacation on its own; would highly recommend coming during Xmas time. We had a very comfortable stay in our suite, which was incredibly spacious and clean. The complex is truly massive and there is always something to do. Our family had fun with the MagiQuest and the mini golf. This location in particular has one of the best indoor waterparks we've ever been to: a wave pool with actual big wa

So this resort, or mini Las Vegas for children, is fun. This place is not cheap at all, even with their discounts that they have. (e.g. $15 for self parking on an empty parking lot, 4 different types of additional taxes, and everything is overpriced, etc.). It is fun though. The kids have a blast even if you do say no to all the additional activities (mini golf, arcade, ropes, rock wall, magi quest, mirror maze). The water park is large and crazy but fun. The beds in the rooms are not super comfortable. Th

She offered gluten free pancakes and a gluten free chocolate muffin. Then brought it to my table. Then she remembered me the next morning and i didnt even have to ask! She confirmed what I wanted and again brought it to my table. She was so sweet and kind. She made breakfast the highlight of my meal experiences here at the resort!

We love Great Wolf in Arizona. Pumpkin is the best! She greeted us with a smile and a willingness to help make sure we had everything we needed. I had a complicated payment set up and she listened to what I needed and gave me options to set things up. The process was fast and easy. She deserves some serious kudos!

This place was awesome. I've never checked into an accommodation and the front desk person tells me I probably bought the wrong package and I should switch things up a little AND it saved me $100+ and it was the perfect recommendation for my family. This was a great place to have the kids be entertained, parents get to participate and not be overly bothered like Disney. The little bunk room is big enough to fit a pack n play. The lines weren't bad and the parking was pretty open as well. Lastly, this places

Great Wolf has been a spot for us on an annual visit, but this was our first to celebrate our daughter's birthday with a few of her friends. An indoor location to enjoy year round. We, as in 4 adults, have just as much fun as the kids. Enjoying the wave pool, the lazy river, slides and even outdoor pool and hot tub if you wanna step outside while the kids are inside. Only people with wrist bands can enter the water fun zone. There are restaurants there for food and little shops for snacks and drinks too. Ea

We recently stayed at Great Wolf Lodge in Scottsdale, Arizona, to celebrate our kids? birthdays, and it was a blast for the whole family! The indoor water park, which kept us cozy during February and March, is one of the highlights of the experience, offering something for everyone. My kids were thrilled with the slides?Diamond Back Drop was their favorite?and they loved the wave pool. I, on the other hand, enjoyed the lazy river. The toddler zone is perfect for little ones; my kids were 3 & 5 at the time.

Absolutely horrible hotel. We walked in and the hotel smelled horrible. Very dirty. We got to our room hoping for better but the whole floor smelled strongly of pot to the point it made my daughter and I sick. Still hoped to go in and have a better result in the room but was left disappointed and grossed out. Sticky door handles and dirty carpets, on top of that the ac unit was so loud that we could hardly hear each other talk. We walked around the very underwhelming attractions and just decided to check ou

We absolutely loved our stay at Great Wolf?s Lodge. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. There was so much to do! We stayed for 3 nights (4 days) and could have spent 2 more there honestly. Our kids are 10, 8 and 6 and I think those are ideal ages for their festivities. But any kid from 4-15 would likely love it. We as adults did too. Our room was very clean, as was all of their facilities. The pool was a little stinky by the water slides but that's to be expected at a water park. The water p

Kids were fairly entertained. Slow the lines and understaffed. Nickle and dime you for everything, including paying for parking.... crazy at a lodge. The beds were comfortable and the establishment was nice. Very loud and rattling air conditioning unit in room, everyone slept poorly. Do not recommend and we likely will not be returning unless the prices drop significantly.

Great family experience. Inside it does smell strong of chlorine and super humid. The kids didn't mind, loved it. I had to use the outside pool. If you want to shower afterwards bring the body wash, lotion, shampoo and conditioner, well and a towel.

Seriously, it was a great time for families. You want an adult day of drinking while kids play... Great Wolf Lodge is the place. Food is above average for less than amusement park prices which is a win. In other words, good food for less than normal cost. The kids are exhausted, the adults are slightly drunk, and they have lots to do foe the full family. Win win all aroubd. I love this place!

The Great Wolf Lodge is the perfect place for a kid adventure! It is so much fun for the kiddos, and has a LOT to do. The food is great, We ate at multiple places on site, and the food was good. The service was great also. We found all the shop attendants, the guides, the servers of all kinds to be friendly and helpful. The overnight accommodations are more like a Comfort Inn Suite with a cool place for the kids to sleep. I felt the overnight accommodations were overpriced, which is why i didn't give them

We enjoy our stays at Great Wolf Lodge. Most of the staff are really outgoing and nice with the occasional not so friendly personnel. Food and drinks are a bit pricey. It hasn't been too packed during our two trips during Spring Break and Easter weekend. There's plenty for the kids to do at and around the hotel. The family rooms are cute with bunk beds for the kids.

We had a relaxing and peaceful time, celebrating our daughter?s 6th birthday at the wolf lodge. The customer service was great and everyone was friendly and helpful no matter where we went in the hotel. We were able to do most of the attractions, indoor and outdoor. It was nice to have everything you need inside the hotel, so we didn't have to leave unless we wanted to. Few examples, Dunkin Doughnuts coffee and breakfast at the hotel was very good! I'd suggest ordering ahead on your phone through the wol

I'm amending my previous review. We were initially very displeased with the situation we encountered at this location, but they went above and beyond to make it right. The GM is understanding and motivated to make sure the people who come to this establishment enjoy themselves and are well taken care of. Ultimately, stuff happens, even with the best planning and preventative measures. What truly matters is how you show up when that stuff does happen. Our family will be back, and fully respect how Great Wol

We had such a fantastic family vacation here. We stayed 4 nights with our 2 children (4&2) in the basic room. We found it to be very thoughtfully laid out and made good use of the small table, chairs, and bench. The lotion dispenser was such a welcome touch after spending hours in the swimming pool! We found all the staff we interacted with to be incredibly helpful and courteous. I was particularly impressed by the lifeguards in the waterpark. It was apparent that they were very focused on the water, slide

The rooms are massive and are like a luxury hotel! The rooms had 3 beds, a couch, and a patio, and a tv! This place felt more like a luxury apartment! The food was good along with the huge lobby! The water slides were really fun but the water was kinda cold. You should try every slide! The hot tubs were very nice and warm! This hotel was an absolute masterpiece! The arcade was not rigged and was pretty easy to get a bucket load of tickets! 10/10 would recommend!

Mark is always so friendly outside the water park. He constantly makes sure it is organized and everyone is Safe. He makes conversation with families and constantly has a smile on his face. His overall Friendliness is contagious and I know coming to the water park when it opens if Mark is there it will be okay.

We had so much fun! Our two young boys absolutely loved the water park! The location is fantastic and there is so much to do! Highly recommend! Our only minor issue was a teddy bear we left behind. We filled out a list and found form but haven't heard back. We would definitely stay again!

We had an awesome time during our night staycation! The water park was a blast, and the kids loved all the free activities. There were also tons of fun stuff to do for a fee, like mini golf, bowling, rope courses, and a mirror maze. It's a great spot for families to hang out and have fun together.

First visit to Great Wolf Lodge for grandson?s 5 year birthday experience. I was skeptical but had a wonderful time. I'm 69. I climbed the climbing wall, completed the obstacle course (once with very courageous 5 year old and once with 12 year old who admitted part way through, ?I'm afraid of heights.? We did the lazy river, the wave pool, the water slides and had a wonderful dinner at the Barnwood restaurant. We got the free wolf ears. All the employees deserve recognition: Sandy at the candy counter and t

My family had an enjoyable stay. We enjoyed the water park and all the other entertainment provided here. There were good food options outside of the lodge that were close by. Check in and check out went smooth and was easy. Overall, Great Wolf Lodge provided an accommodating and comfortable stay for our mini vacation. The USS Arizona Memorial Gardens next door was a plus.

I would highly suggest this place and to all ages. My 18yr old, 13yr old and myself enjoyed every bit of the stay. From the time you check in to every ride and shop you stop at was a fun experience. We stayed for my 13yr bday and everyone made him feel like it was his day.we stayed a couple of day and had no issue with any of the rides or anything in general.I personally enjoyed the keyless/ cashless wristband they offer and if you do have a food sensory child the cooks are more the welcome to accommodate.

Wow! I wasn't expecting it to be so good. The service was amazing. Very well kept and clean. Kids had tons of fun and the food was delicious. I highly recommend if you can get a discount on staying there. We purchased the birthday package for my son and one of the balloons popped. I mentioned it to a staff member and they brought a new balloon to the room within 15 minutes. I'm impressed.

Jessie at the front desk was AMAZING! She helped us optimize our stay. And Verona at fresh woods market so upbeat with a great positive vibe. Loved interacting with her this morning. Who knew buying milk and cereal could be fun? Both women were so helpful and friendly going the extra mile.

We had a family staycation (water park+hotel) here in The Great Wolf lodge. One of the best options in Scottsdale/Phoenix city. Indoor Water park this size is just amazing especially to beat the summer heat. The indoor water is temperature controlled, they give free towels so you don't need to pack extras. Lot of activities in water park inside & outside for having a good time with kids/family. There are lockers and indoor and outdoor cabanas if you are okay to spend lil extra. You can use water park on day

Service is poor. I spent the last two weeks trying to book a birthday party for my daughter. I call and am told someone from event planning will call me to go over details and book the party. I am transferred to event planning, but every time it goes to voicemail. I leave messages, but no one calls me back. I'm 3 weeks away from my daughter's birthday and decided to give up on this place. It was a major disappointment for my daughter. I can't speak for the rest of the resort, as I never actually visited.

We stayed in the Grizzly Bear Suite, which has two bedrooms and was perfect for us. They had a deal a while back, and we grabbed it right away. The suite plus water park admission was such a great deal. The only downside wa that we weren't really fans of the food at Great Wolf Lodge. They have a lot of options and try to cater to families with younger kids, but it just wasn't our thing. There are tons of great places to eat just a few minutes away, so the location is convenient. It's a great spot for famili

We had an amazing experience at the Great Wolf Lodge in Scottsdale during Spring Training! The water park was fantastic, with plenty of slides and activities for both kids and adults. The rooms were clean, spacious, and perfect for families. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a fun and memorable getaway ? we'll definitely be back next year!

The reason for my 1-star review is solely based on the poor experience I've had with customer service after my stay. We go to this Great Wolf location 1-2 times per year. Our group is three adults and 4-5 kids, which is split among three families. We had an issue with our most recent booking and when I reached out to customer service afterwards to discuss resolutions, I was extremely disappointed with the response. They offered a $40 credit, which I explained was insufficient when split among three families

Great concept, poor execution in the PHX location. Staff lacked appreciable involvement of Frontline leadership - as a result, they were slow, unfamiliar with procedures, and overall made the experience lackluster. We asked for a late checkout, and paid $89 for it. However, the doors still locked us out at 11am, and I had to wait in line for an hour to get the doors unlocked. They compensated me $75, but it ruined our plans. We purchased a specific pass that was supposed to give us free things...but we h

I came to The Great Wolf Lodge to celebrate my graduation with my family and I had the pleasure of being assisted by Ms. Antoinette. During my check-in, and I must say, her service was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment I arrived, she greeted me with a warm, genuine smile and made me feel instantly welcome. Her professionalism and attention to detail were evident as she handled my check and quickly efficiently, all while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ms. Antoinette went above and bey

Took my daughter for her 5th birthday and she had a blast. Stayed two nights at the hotel room and was surprised to see older furniture that had been beat down. For the rental price of these rooms, it should have been motel 6 prices. A touch up marker would have went a long way to disguise the scraped furniture, beds, table, sort of gave you a Hostage negotiation room feel, or a Brooklyn basement poker game meet. All else is what you should expect for a water park. Would I go again? Yes for the indoor val

It was a blast but not worth the money. Seriously, just getting a day pass for 4 was $300. That didnt even get you access to everything. Just the waterpark. They charged me twice on accident and it took them 10 days for the refund to show up. A margarita was $17 before tip, a hot pretzel was $10 and they were trying to upsell you every ten feet on something new. Get a cabana, get a bag of dirt with rocks to wash in a fake gold sluice, use the bad arcade, etc. They also emailed and texted me twelve times wit

Paid 1600 dollars for a bunk bed room and queen for 2 nights with the ultimate package. For the money this wasn't anything spectacular a full day here and you can complete all the activities several times. The food was fine I wasn't expecting much. The kids had a great time they were definitely wiped out by the end of the 2nd night which was great to get a full night's sleep before driving back the next morning.

This is our 3rd trip to GWL. Overall another great time. Our room was starting to show its age (patchwork on the ceiling and cabinets not aligned). Still had a great time. This is our 1st time going during summer and I was surprised how packed it was given the phoenix area has so many great water parks only open during the summer Our only big complaint, which is kinda beyond GWL control is parents not watching theor kids. It was crowded in the water park and wave pool. 2 boys about 13 kept weaving through t

I visited here on a family vacation. Was excited to go since this was are first time visiting a Great Wolf Lodge. Had some great parts and others that make me scratch my head. The good, was very clean and well organized. The hotel/pools/attractions for the most part were very clean and organized. Food was pretty good for what you got, I was impressed. Price for the room and passes to the pool were reasonable. The not so good, still don't understand why they charge for parking when I have to park myself in o

One more note; I discovered three fraudulent charges in my Visa card made by Great Wolf Lodge. Day pass review: I bought day passes on Groupon for three. 65$ for a pass. I was charged 15$ plus taxes for parking. Now I'm already around 205$. Food is so pricey compared to last year. This paying for parking is new hidden fee this year as well. We got breakfast at New York bagels and Bailey?s, great spot , great quality for the bucks before arriving to Great Wolf lodge so that helps in not buying average food f

Great experience. Lots of stuff to do. We spent time in the water park and it was great. The breakfast buffet was good value for the price. Lots of add-on stuff to do so if you come with littles, be prepared to say no a lot.

We stayed there last Saturday and Sunday in a junior suite. The room are a little tired. The walls are banged up, as is the furniture. The beds and pillows were very good. We did food credits and enjoyed breakfast and dinner at The Lodge. Everybody was friendly and very helpful, especially the young black man in the arcade. We had a wonderful time and will be back, and looking for a cheaper deal. For 2 nights I paid just under 2k.

Amazing! Having kids and being in a kid friendly hotel where they could be loud, and crazy and act like kids without us being looked at. The rooms were nice my only issue was I asked multiple days and times for a comforter and until I asked what I think was the manager did I get one. We stayed 5 days and are planning our next trip already to a new one. It's is expensive to eat there and do everything but ao worth it. You litterally don't have to leave the hotel if you don't want.

I recently had the distinct pleasure of visiting Great Wolf Lodge with my family of seven, alongside another family celebrating a birthday. Our stay, spanning a couple of days with each family having their own room, allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the resort's vibrant atmosphere, exploring both its thrilling water park and engaging dry activities. I can confidently say that Great Wolf Lodge is a standout destination, offering an incredibly positive and thoroughly engaging experience for families wi

Amazing indoor waterpark, huge outside pool, and lots of activities for the kids. We had a great time! My kids love the themed rooms and really enjoyed having their own space in a ?cave?complete with a bunk bed.

So much fun!!! My 1 and 6 year olds had a blast, there is something for everyone. The water is warm and inviting and even the air is warm so when you get out you aren't freezing. The rooms are decent size.

We had such a blast! I was a bit hesitant going by myself with two young kiddos, but it was a fantastic experience overall. Waterpark area was clean and lots of fun for us all. My only complaint was that there's no room service, so I ended up ordering some food delivery while the kids were sleeping. The front desk refused their delivery and demanded I come downstairs to pick it up. Obviously, I couldn't do that and after much griping the manager begrudgingly had security walk it up. I feel like they should

Be aware of your bill after your visit. The place was great, kids loved it.... Would rate higher but after getting home and the bill kept getting revised... my husband started scrutinizing it, and woe and behold.. where did that 45$ towel charge come from? (He made a big deal about turning ours in at front desk instead of leaving in the room) Then the charge for 2 wolf passes that my son purchased separately on his own... whoopsie. Comes to a couple hundred dollars extra. Hmmmmm Check your bill!

Brissa at the front desk was AMAZING! Service is hands down the best. I would appreciate if the pool opened at 7am not 10am. We are early people and would like to get extra swim time in before checkout. The art time, dance party, and story time are always a blast.

our full day passes (WPbundle) were supposed to include access to amenities such as Mini Golf, the Rock Wall, and Ropes Course. However, at approximately 8:00 PM, on 6/19/25 my family and I were denied access to all of these activities. The front desk staff and the employee at the front entrance store both informed me that the passes only allowed access to the waterpark?contradicting what I was told at the time of purchase. This lack of internal consistency and misinformation effectively ruined what was su

We had a great time! The service from the front desk was excellent. ??We needed 2 more washcloths that were not in the room, but they brought them within 5 min. ?? I also called because the kid next door cried for 30 min straight. Never once heard an adult voice. They sent security to the floor. The room was nice/clean, it just needs a kids step stool at the sink, like in the public restrooms. Noted to self, bring my own next time. It had a fridge in the room- no microwave. There is a deposit and $15 charg

Hello, good morning. Just to leave my review, I didn't like the hotel because we could never watch anything on the TV, the refrigerator never worked, and we lost food. The bed sheets were ripped. My son fell on the sofa bed during the night; it was very sagging. I really don't recommend it. Thanks!

We always have a great time here! Judy Robinson helped make my child?s birthday so special! We also had a great experience with the waitress at the outdoor bar Flow. Thanks for the great stays every time!

My family and I are visiting different Great Wolf Lodge locations on my son's birthday to compare. Anaheim is still the best but this is a close second! Pumpkin checked us in and helped throughout our stay. She was amazing!!!

My family and I stayed here at the end of February. What started as a nice trip quickly turned awful. After day 1 my son (who slept exclusively on the bottom bunk) had several bites on his belly. After day 2 and for the following week he developed more than 50 bites. My son got bed bugs from Great Wolf Lodge, Scottsdale. Bites confirmed from his pediatrician to be consistent with bed bugs. Great wolf lodge was notified and has failed to follow through with an investigation. Stay here only if you don't mind

We've been coming here 2-3 times a year since they opened. We've had little ups and downs but mostly great times. It's been a year since our last visit and I can't believe how much this place has gone down. Right off the bat you walk in and they've replaced check in people with kiosk. Of course the kiosk don't work so you have to go to the one person they have checking people in. Used to be 5-6. They used to have a ton of life guards. One life guard for a wave pool with a 100 kids in it. One life gu

Awesome experience! Pleased with reservation booking, convenience of GWL app, ease of kiosk check-in and mobile text check-out. All the Staff were super helpful, very courteous, and extremely accommodating. Made for a wonderful get-a-way from every day grind with the family.

Normally we love coming to Great Wolf Lodge but this experience was horrible. They don't make you aware of a parking fee they recently implemented. The attractions were constantly closed down due to kids pooping and them having to clean it. Which I get accidents happen but add that to the fact that they are short staffed and have minimal life guards on duty and now that one of the attractions are closed the other ones are overcrowded. Definitely a safety concern. Not to mention these life guards look exhaus

The resort is awesome. Customer service is really bad and communication with guest is terrible. Booked in advanced and we checked in after a long line... after checking in we walked up to do my kids favorite slides. They were closed they said its out of there hands a mechanical issue. I just said if you communicated when we checked in we live right down the road and then they stopped replying.... I have emailed twice and tried to help/communicate what could be done better and nothing...

We had a great time with our children at the wolf lodge. Great activities for all ages. This is our fourth time visiting and enjoyed our stay. We stayed two nights and have to complain about the beds. For the fees we should have better quality beds. Super uncomfortable and the worst pillows.

Extremely expensive! We were left feeling uncomfortable one of the people working at the front desk who was pressuring us to purchase more passes for things to do and said ?well, at least I tried? to my son when we declined. It was a very strange tactic. When I received a text later asking if everything was going well and if there was anything they could do, I told them about the situation and how we felt about it and they only said they would pass along the message and that was all. On a positive note, the

I'm giving it a one star because showing up on the first day as soon as we're about to put our snacks away we found food left behind. (We just tossed it in the trash) moved on to enjoy our visit. Also our last night the AC unit was not blowing out cold air in one of the rooms from the Grizzly suites. I reached out to them they offered to send a tech at 11pm. I said no because my kids were sleeping in there and I didn't want to wake them up. They offered a $40 refund for that issue. Which is frustrating we

We had a large group for a birthday. The first day we did a lot on the indoor part. The second day we went outside for a little while, but then everything got shut down because of the weather. Overall, we had a great time and met some nice people.

The kids had a blast. Very few working elevators. Not good. Food outrageously expensive. Not enough lifeguards. Smaller than the Garden Grove, CA location. Overall, it's fun for the kids.

This is the best place that's super family friendly! There is so much to do in just the hotel. Me and my family stayed for 2 full days and it was incredible. The indoor Waterpark was phenomenal. So many options for food including dunkin in the hotel!!!! They have a huge gift shop and much more. We will be coming back! Everyone was very reapectful. I definitely recommend the great wolf lodge for everyone if you are traveling with kiddos!!!!

We visited Great Wolf Lodge and opted for a hotel room since it was actually cheaper than buying day passes to the water park thanks to a promotional rate my wife found. We arrived around noon, enjoyed the park until about 7 PM, then used the room for showers before checking out. Everything went smoothly, and we had a great time. No issues at all!

I really wasn't impressed with Great Wolf Lodge. The water park is unique and large, and crowding wasn't really too much of an issue. The issue I had was the food. I was so terribly disappointed with the food. 15 dollar coctails, the mai thais, specifically, tasted like the plastic cups they served them in (which, like all the plastic on the site, had sharp edges) were never rinsed from the factory. Next - each mai thai I had was in one of those cups (I now own nearly a dozen of them). The hamburgers - I

Been here a couple times now. Great place to bring kids that love the water. The wand game they have throughout is nice to wander around and give the kids something to do when the water park is closed. Everyone is generally very nice, we had one mildly infuriating situation. I am part-time wheelchair bound, made our way down to the water park. Waited in a line, lot longer than the other days we attended. The security guard informed us that the kids couldn't get in unless they had their, my wife politely sa

Took my daughter last year for the first time and we loved it!! There is definitely a lot to do for the kiddos and all activities can be bought separately or in a bundle (wolf passes). The waterpark is so much fun with a lot of slides as well! You never have to leave the hotel!! We'll be going back again in a few weeks!

This review is for DAY PASS only review. SHORT REVIEW: Go to another water park for the price. HIDDEN PARKING FEE OF $15! Long review: To start off, I have no problems paying for something...if it is worth it. I don't appreciate places that hide fees or take advantage of people. We decided to meet family from out of state at Great Wolf. We have been there before and have gotten a room. But the particular day we were going it would have been over $200 to have the room so I elected to just do the day pa

Great Wolf Lodge was a 10/10 for my entire family. I have sons ranging from teenagers to toddlers and everyone had the best time. There is something for kids of all ages. I loved how it was set up to be very manageable to keep track of your kids. All of the amenities made for such a fun stay. All of my kids wished we could stay longer. The arcade seemed very generous too. All 4 of my kids got jackpots on different games.

Stayed 2 nights. Overall family had a good time but AC in our room didn't work and it took 4 separate times for maintenance to come out to resolve. Missed an hour of Waterpark time with the kids twice waiting for them to come so I could verify it was fixed. Customer service manager promised to call to discuss a credit for the inconvenience but mysteriously disappeared through the end of our stay.

Okay, so we have been wanting to check out The Great Wolf Lodge for FOREVER, but I'm not gonna lie, I was a little hesitant because it definitely felt like a bit of an investment. But after finally staying there, I can honestly say it is SO worth it! Seriously! The fact that you can buy individual day water park passes is cool and all, but when you actually break it down, just getting a room and making a whole trip out of it is the way to go! You get to hit the water park the ENTIRE day you check in AND th

A MOTHER'S REVIEW OF Great Wolf Lodge We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge this week with all three of our kids. It wasn't intentional, GWL was significantly cheaper than any AirBNB or the cost of two hotel rooms. Here are some things to know if you are visiting or thinking about it: 1?? It is loud. I have never been in such a constantly loud place in my life. Music, screaming, kids running in every direction, and oh my gosh the howling. It starts at 8am and ends around 10pm. 2?? There is no place for parents

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
