Customer Reviews

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful! They offer a play ground for the little kids and the ones that just want to take a break from skating. The food is actually pretty good and they have Icees! My favorite! I'm so thankful they are so accommodating and we are able to have team parties there along with birthday parties as well. Our family enjoys going up there so the kids can skate and play and I can set up my computer and get some work done or chat with a friend. I've even requested a song I liked and

Great venue for kids and adults. Has a great rink, huge jungle gym, laser tag and a game area. Had great music and vibe. Employees are super friendly. Definitely place for kids Bday party

Whatever happened Friday 25 April let me be clear. It was stated over the loudspeaker that staff - or atleast one staff member has the right to search minors. If you have a problem in your establishment notify the proper authorities. If ANYONE touches a child you will have a problem. The words that come out of your mouth hold credence and credibility. You are responsible for the words that come out of your mouth. Think before you speak. So if you don't want to be held liable, like a child, watch what you sa

Have been here multiple times for family events and everything is always top notch, kind, and friendly! I ESPECIALLY loved the Halloween events in the past! Always looking forward to bring the kids for a good time.

Joel and his team at Gray-8-Skate have gone above and beyond! Both of my children have had birthday parties at Gray-8-Skate over the years and they loved it! Friendly staff and great facility!

We've always had great time when visiting here! The skate floor is awesome and the play area for kids is always their favorite thing. From watching roller derby to visiting Santa, or just escaping for some fun indoors this place is always a top pick for our family.

Great place to come and play with the kiddos! Clean facilities and great staff!! Great experience with our birthday parties.

This is a very fun way for kids to spend a Friday night or Saturday afternoon, parents can rest assured there are rules and they are not aloud to go in and out. Also a great place for your little ones birthday parties, with great affordable packages and friendly host for the parties!!

Went here for a homeschooling event. The place was pretty clean. The staff was very nice and helped fix any issue we had. Now to the bad parts... bring your own skates. The rental skates are horrible and after only skating for about an hour my feet felt like they had been beaten with a hammer. I only tried the inlines but, the regular skates didn't look too good either. The arcade games were malfunctioning. Should have won a whole mess of tickets but, the machines that we played were not registering corr

Joel is an outstanding owner, leader & person! Dedicated to providing the best experience @ Gray 8 & also devoted to our community!!

Well run facility with lots to do! We run a skating rink in another area and the owner here is hard working and a leader in our industry.

This is a wonderful very safe place for kids. I've taken my grandkids a few times and we had a great time.

I love the staff, the environment and most importantly the small town safety that comes from this amazing place. Been going there since I was in middle school!

My granddaughter goes every Friday night. A great safe place for her to go and have fun.

Update my family and I visited again on June 7th it was a horrible experience my daughter couldn't even get assistance from us to Skate. The food was good but took awhile and none of the Arcade machines worked. Again no laser tag all my daughter enjoyed was the playground. We will not be coming back at all. My family and I visited back in October of last year. We had a great time but unfortunately did not get a chance for our daughter to enjoy laser tag. It was included with the unlimited package our daught

The best camp around! It is hard to find somewhere safe for your child to go for the summer. This is my son's (he is 6) first year attending spring break and summer camp, and he loves it. My son talks about the stem projects, field trips, and making new friends, and he loves every second of being there. Counselors are approachable, funny, knowledgeable, and responsible. My child bonded with them immediately.

Lots of fun! Friendly place. Good place to take the whole family. Great for family outings and birthday parties.

I am so happy we found the skating rink. It has been a long time since we have gone skating as a family and I plan on visiting this place a lot. Can't wait to go back!

We always have a good time skating. Employees are ways kind. We love it.

This place is large and fun for kids, but it is also really overpriced. They are sticklers about outside water bottles and make it difficult to spend time there without paying for extras. We attended a birthday party here and were not impressed.

Looking for a great floor to skate on and a nice size area, this is the location. I lost track of time and was there for three hours none stop. I'll be back to visit everytime I'm in the area. Love this location. The staff was amazing, they even ensured that people are not coming in and scratching up the floor with rocks in their skates.

i absolutely love this place and the employees always seem to look out for their customers, would recommend!!!

I love this place good service great people love the food

VERY GOOD COMMUNITY ORIENTED. WONDERFUL SUMMER PROGRAMS

This place could be lovely. But it's just too hot in there. Everyone was sweating and fanning themselves. Find a way to fix that issue and you're golden.

Very nice rink. Large and well put together. A little hot in there though. We really enjoyed the place though. Update: just went back here in February and was still happy with it. The price to skate and play was good and they had good music. The rink is in really good condition and the staff were all nice. It was quite a bit cooler this time (much more comfortable).

It's a nice place for families to take their kids and for parties. The only thing that bothered me was over half of the arcade games were out of order. Overall My kids had a really great time!

I personally really enjoyed it there. My kids also enjoyed it there because everyone was nice, and most of the things were cheap. Although one thing i dont really like is some of the songs. But they took out the inappropriate words, so thats good. So overall very its a nice place to go roller skating for the first time, or if your experienced.

Something fun to do with the kids on weekend also they h ave special days like christian night and sensory skate follow them on Facebook for events

Whenever I bring my kids they have a great time. Love this place

I have only been on Tuesdays, which is one of the best deals for roller skating I have seen since moving to middle Georgia. Clean roller rink with unique black flooring. Will definitely be back to get some more practice in.

My daughter and I went here on Thursday. It wasn't packed at all, which I liked. I loved there skate floor. It was so smooth and made me feel like I could really skate(I cannot). It's pretty clean for the most part AND they offer free ice water. That was dope.

Everything was overpriced and whenever I would try to get a laser tag game they would skip over mine and lie and said they called it when they didn't - to clarify I know she didn't call it because I heard them and she said she was told to skip over them- also the roller skates were impossible to fit and you have to get almost five sisters above three size you usually get to fit in don't really recommend but somewhat good

Paid $16 per adult to just skate. Wound up not even being able to due to nerve damage in my feet. Didn't even go out on the skate floor-but they absolutely won't refund your money. I could understand if I just decided not to skate-but I really wanted to, brought my own skates even. I feel like management should've handled it a little better. All I was asking for was a refund for something we didn't do, but nope. I guess they don't realize that is bad business, we will never be back. Definitely won't be

It was clean and had a lot for kids to do. The only complaint I could muster would be that half the game machines were down. But I would still drive from Milledgeville to Gray to bring my son to this one.

One of the best places in Gray to visit! I have attended parties here and I have just brought my child to let her enjoy the skating rink. She also loves the mega maze. When I had my daughter's birthday party here there were a few rowdy children, but the manager quickly got their attention and handled the situation. Our party host was fantastic, she was helpful and there for me the entire time! I couldn't ask for better and the price is fantastic!

Kids had fun! My kids and I were there today and they enjoyed themselves. They mostly played in the play area and mildly skated. 12 dollars allows one child to play in the play area and includes the price of skate rental. I paid $3 extra for the rolling walker per child. They played various styles of music country, rock , pop and r&b (old school and new). The staff here are amazing!!! They were super nice and helpful. I will most definitely stop by again.

We went for a birthday party and had so much fun! The staff were beyond friendly. They have so many arcade games and a play set for the kids to crawl around in and they have a skate assist for the beginners like my little one. Needless to say, my little one slept good that night!

Tammie the owner gave Aiden a free Birthday party after his 26 yr old mom had several strokes!! She also bought him Christmas! We need great people who share! The place is great! It was awesome!

Such a great place to take the kids for a few hours to get some energy out in a place with AC during the summer. We love it all year round, though!

Good to see most games and things working. Great place for the kids. I give 4 stars cause cash is obsolete and that's all they take there and $15 to get in is a bit steep. Overall good place though.

Awesome place, had my granddaughters bday party there. The staff was super nice, and very professional. If you are planning a bday party for your kids this is definitely a place i would recommend!Thank you all for the great service.

amazing place, but i do have one question, do you guys have a dress code rule about spaghetti straps? me and my friends plan on going there thursday, and i was planning on wearing a tank top, but i wanted to make sure there isnt a dress code rule about that.

We celebrated my niece's third birthday party here at Gray-8-Skate last weekend and I was highly pleased with their attention to everyone and everything. They keep a watchful eye on the floor and safety is the top priority! Its always a blessing to be in the presence of Ms. Tammy and her hardworking crew.

I love this place because no matter if its packed or just a few people you are treated with the same respect and dignity. Staff is always friendly and available tp address any concerns during your stay.. we have been 3 times and all 3 were very pleasant experiences...we will definitely visit again over and over, perhaps today...lol

I drove about 80 miles to come and skate today because Google says that this rink was open from 2-6pm and I get here and everyone has left. I'm just a little confused? I thought they were open. Not pinning this on the rink at all. Just trying to figure out when you guys are actually open. Gave the business 5 stars for how nice the building is outside.

Nice place and friendly environment, I really enjoyed being here! The staff is so nice and really provide excellent customer service. I will definitely be returning.

Nice, clean, safe fun but the food or concessions are a little high. Overall my family had a great time.

Always have great service and a good time. Staff is so kind and friendly! Highly recommend visiting if you're looking for great family fun!

Great family entertainment! Friday night is mostly middle school kids. Saturday morning is mostly birthday parties and little kids. The kids can play games in between skating and the play area. Also, group skating games.

It's a great place for the whole family everyone skates the music isn't that loud and they play a variety of Music the owner is really nice to they really watch your children if you don't stay with them highly recommend

This skating rink is fun, but sometimes it can be overprotective and not the best experience for people wanting to skate and have fun at the same time. This is the only skating rink close to me, and I can't do the things a skating rink would normally allow because there is not another one in my area. I think it is a little too much to have a dress code at a skating rink, people should be able to wear whatever they like with an appropriate sense. I understand you're trying to make it for children, but teens

Always a friendly environment for kids. My 6 year old Grandson has a great time playing.

This is an amazing place. Super fun for all ages and the owners truly care about the kids that come there

I did not have a good time. The people there were terrible and I had no fun. I was cut off the floor and ran into a wall. The people there were bragging on how inlines were better than quads and that was not right. I am a family of four and it sucked so much so if you want a good family time at a roller rink don't go here

Great place for kids to hang out and have fun and a amazing place for birthday parties! Tammy and her staff are awesome, so do yourself a favor and check them out today!

The only thing I liked about this rink was the skate floor. We love to skate and do derby and it sucked to skate there being the only adults there, most of the kids were rude and my wife got barked at. Half of the kids would be thrown out of any other rink we have been to for the stuff that was going on. It was utter chaos.

Awesome location to hold kids' birthday parties! Management and staff are very friendly, helpful and personable. Priced resonably and something for evwryone to do!

This place was the worst place! I am a skater that has been skating for six years now and so I know what is so called a "good skate" and this was not. The only reason why you are getting one star is because of the nice person at the first. The floor was pretty nice but the people on the floor were terrible. I had a few people say that inlines were better than quads (mine are not cheep and they are quads). And by the way I am bad ass on both. Anyway if you are looking for a good time DO NOT GO HERE!!!

This place is the Friday night hang out for the kids in elementary and middle school staff takes great care of them all while they are in their care. My kids have a blast!!!

This is a great, safe place for your children to come..it's also perfect for birthday parties.

Great spot. Lots of fun, prices are great. Must go!!!

This place gets one star for having a nice skate surface and for the polite kid running the skate rental area. We are a family of six who take skating pretty seriously and play derby. We go skating on every family vacation. (We are from Oklahoma.) This is obviously a place where people drop their kids off instead of paying for babysitting. Every child in the place was rude to us. I was told my quads (which are a several hundred dollar pair of skates btw) were not as good as in-lines, I was barked at (seriou

Joel is good for Gray.

We had a great time skating and playing on the playground. Very clean and affordable place.

Music was fire. Party girl, beautiful red head had a big heart ?? and took care of all our party needs

Hidden behind a tire store, a nice little skating rink to take the kiddies to. Party room, concessions, climbing gizmo as well as video games are also available. $10 admission which covers skate rental.

I was invited to this place with a friend of mine. Met some new friends and had a blast. I was also able to learn some new skating techniques from Nick.

Great place for dropping off kids to hang out, very nice staff constantly working hard to keep the kids safe and under watch.

The best place to take your kid to have fun but that's just my opinion I want to hear yours

It is so comforting to know that the kids in our wonderful community have a safe place to go and have fun while being treated with respect.

The only family and fun center east of the river! Great service, kids had fun, but it was cold inside on a cold day!

Eavrything thing was great only problem is there was no air it was 80 degrees need to fix. Ac

Awesome,,!! Haven't skated in 41 years until tonight,, had a blast,, place is VERY well organized with an extremely nice staff

My little bro wanted to go , so Wifey and I took him , it was very enjoyable.

This place is a no brained if you have young children. A bit expensive, but worth it.

I know the owner Preety well she's a good lady with a nice heart she does what is best for everyone in the skating rink and runs a Preety straight forward business I've been plenty of times had a good time a lot

not very impressed with how the place is! went there before, and saw somebody fall! the worst part is that no one came to check on that person! terrible

The place is always clean. My kids love being able to skate and/or play in the jungle gym.

Bc people get to spend time with other and hang out and have fun and there game that they play for example they do pack man

Great place to have some fun with thw hole family

Spent my birthday there its amazing 10/10 recommend you go??

Skate your heart out and good play zone for the kids (2-11 years old) as well.

Fantastic floor, and the kids' play zone keeps the entertainment well rounded.

Great place but too small to handle large crowds.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
