Grand Central Bowl, Arcade & Sports Bar

Excellent food, A++ service, MANY TV'S, cool video games like the driving sit down kind, modern bowling lanes (though I haven't played the new lanes yet- just the pre-renovation era lol! But I surely will soon.)

Had an awesome time bowling at Grand Central! We walked in at 10 PM on a Friday night and got a lane right away. Logan was amazing?super energetic and helpful, which made the experience even better. Our family of six bowled for a little over an hour (not to brag, but I bowled a 200!). After bowling, we headed upstairs for arcade games. Great atmosphere bowling here. Fun spot to pay by time. I'm personally not a huge fan of paying by time instead of games, but I understand that it's much easier to estimate lane availability, etc.. Only size 16 shoe as max was a bit disappointing.

We had a work outing here and the staff were so cordial in greeting and explanation. Jax welcomed us and introduced us to the location and amenities, they even referred us to the self sign up loyalty that gets you a free game! Courtney was serving us food and drink and was attentive and observant, always ready to assist with any refills or orders. Truly appreciate the hospitality given!

Grand Central Bowl & Arcade is a fun spot for an evening out. Their food is pretty good, you can get an unlimited gaming card for $20, and they have like 10 bowling lanes. My work has held its holiday party here three years in a row now. We rented out the entire upstairs gaming area, which has its own bar and plenty of seating, along with multiple TVs. The downstairs has a big oval bar with seating all around and booths all around too. They have free garage parking below the restaurant, but it is very small

Grand Central Bowling is a great spot to hang out with family and friends! The atmosphere is fun and lively, with good food and plenty of lanes. The only downside is that parking can be a bit tricky, so plan ahead. Overall, a fun place for a night out!

Jessica was an amazing hostess. Really enjoy our time here while she serves us. Very attentive, personable, and helpful with food knowledge. She makes great old fashions as well. Highly recommend coming in and seeing Jessica.

Finally got a chance to check this place out the other day. I was really impressed with the whole she-bang. The lanes were great, staff were very attentive and super-competent. The food was outstanding. Try the cauliflower!! I will be returning often and thanks to GCB for a great experience.

I honestly love the celebration of being here. Whether as a friends? night out or for an event, this is the perfect mix of bowling, good food, and great vibes. Staff are engaging and the atmosphere is approachable while still being a bit upscale. Definitely a solid place for a good evening of bowling and community.

I had a great time bowling here! The bowling experience was top-notch and the arcade games added an extra layer of fun. The staff was friendly and helpful making the visit even more enjoyable. Very poor experience and customer service! They have very strict policies when booking a birthday party. FAR TOO COMPLICATED to book a simple game of bowling. NOT WORTH IT. I called 15 days before the event and was told they don't make reservations that far out, only 7 days (makes sense!) and I was redirected to the event coordinator, who had different rules and still wouldn't make my reservation 11 days before the event. Although it can get a LITTLE pricey to play here, it is a great time nonetheless! We hosted our work event at Grand Central Bowl, and it was fantastic. The event manager(Haley)was so professional and ensured every detail was taken care of, making the entire process seamless. Very clean space and modernize look make this a fun destination for a night out. Not to stereotype every other bowling alley, but the food and cocktails at Grand Central were noticeably above par for a night of tenpin. Highly recommended way to get out of the rain. lol

They have GLUTEN FREE GOODNESS HERE!!! Our wings were amazing, nachos were top notch, and our drinks were so good! They make their own sour mix and much more so drinks are a major score! Awesome bowling alley. My friend and I came here for the food and drinks. The staff here is super cool. I reccomend the wings and cauliflower. The lemon drop martinis were great! Good vibes all around

Pinballers BEWARE. The machines are not maintained and It will cost $3 to add a 2nd player, instead of the typical 75?. You have to buy a prepaid arcade card to play pinball. To pay for a 2nd player it believes each 1/3 of a credit (usually a quarter, or in this case a swipe) is $1 each. So $1 for player one, and then $3 for player 2. I asked the concierge and they kindly gave us a $5 card but did not know how pinball worked. The machines have many lights burned out, broken ramps, and balls get stuck freque

This place has a parking garage that boasts 24 hour parking yet does not allow people access to their cars after they are closed. They do not have signs that say restaurant parking only or anything like that. They just take your money cold heartedly and will let you rot in the cold all night in winter. We were meet with judgement by bartenders. On 01/25/25 at around 5:25 pm, me and my lady friend walked in to enjoy a night in which was advertised on tik tok. Unfortunately the two gentlemen felt like we didn't deserve immediate attention, because they clearly choose to serve the guests that came up to the bar behind us. It wasn't like anybody was at the bar, I hope others enjoy your establishment better than we did. We chose to go to the bar across the street since we made it uncomfortable for them.

This was my first trip to Grand Central. I was there with a pretty decent size the group of about 20 people. I thought the food was very average best and a little on the pricey side. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. One thing that surprised me was the fact that most places in Portland you have to make a reservation. YES it gets busy and it's for ALL AGES. I'm glad that it has its spun parking garage too. TBH one of the best parts is its location, plenty of breweries and places to nibble.

It's a nice place, but it just costs too much. The place was almost empty, and the bowling cost $60 an hour, plus shoes. No place in town charges this much.

This place is nice since it's renovation. We went for a private party and had the balcony with arcade, bar, shuffleboard, and a good catered spread. There were TVs to watch the games on. Then we bowled on the main floor, with music, lighting, electronic scoring, and big screen TVs. There is a restaurant and bar on the main floor too, with lots more TVs, more video games, real pinball, skeeball, and crane games. It's bright and clean. Had a great time.

It was decent, is a nice place. We only play one bowling game we wanted to stay longer but we couldn't enjoy the arcade games due to a private event. And there was no pool table either.

They have a bunch of arcade games upstairs and another bar. Several of the games weren't working, but not a big deal. There's a parking garage, but it fills up quickly, so be prepared to drive around the block, but even then it's pretty easy.

Fun place, great location. They have your standard computer scoring, retractable bumpers for the kids. They food options and quality was pretty good. Salads, brunch, plus the usual fried fare. My personal experience with this business: FOR BOWLING MAKE RESERVATIONS. PERIOD. I was lucky and got 30 minutes of bowlinghave to make a reservation but so many people make reservations that if you don't you're never going to get in most likely especially on peak play x weekends and evenings so on so forththere is soon as you walk in the doors there's a bar to the left no minors allowed there is a desk to your front that is to pay for bowling and to check in for your bowling lane when you make your reserva

My hubby and I bowled for the first time and we enjoyed our time here. We were visiting Portland from Central California. Calamari was delicious, bathrooms were clean and staff were really helpful and friendly. I totally recommend this place.

My wife and I had a blast!!! Stumbled across the place driving by heading to a bar for a drink, decided to stop in and best decision in Portland!! Bowling, Arcade Games, food was decent and prices were great for happy hour as we went after 8:30pm. Was very modern, clean and fun. Only complaint was the music choice hahaha but everyone has their own taste, still 5 stars!!!!

At GCB I felt an amazing experience of what true service was and I'd have to say Azura takes the cake. The bowling alley is fun. Very dark and decorated like a night club. We didn't eat there so I won't comment on the food. The bowling itself was a little pricey, as there definitely are more cheaper options to bowl in town. The parking was a hit and a miss due to limited parking in the underground structure, and the street parking is paid at $4 every 2 hrs and was slim to come by, so definitely plan your parking/walking to the place accordingly based on your time and your will of walking distance.
