Golfland

Golfland

Reviews Summary

Golfland Milpitas is generally well-rated as a fun family destination, especially for kids, with its three mini-golf courses, arcade games, bumper cars, and laser tag. Many appreciate the well-maintained courses and reasonable pricing, though some note occasional maintenance issues like broken machines or course repairs needed. The arcade offers variety but can be pricey, with some technical glitches. Food quality receives mixed reviews, with some finding it decent while others are unimpressed. Staff are mostly friendly, though a few encounters were less satisfactory. Overall, it's a great spot for group outings or birthdays, but maintenance and service consistency could improve.

The place is great for playing. We hosted a birthday party and I am not so happy with the place. A bunch from the party fell sick. The party hall is very small and shared between all those who host the parties so they can get super loud. Food when hot is okay, not for later. Outside food is not allowed which can be a bummer. The tables are decorated, which is good and the party is nice too. But they can be super strict about timing so need to make sure the party arrives and leaves on time which can be a

Great place for some fun mini golfing! Cute and loud kids all around and their doting parents! Service is great! Food, no. We got mini tacos... Not sure what was inside them??. It's ok to hold the hunger at bay i suppse. Beautiful place though. Very well maintained.

One of the best experiences with my family of different ages. Can't wait for our next visit! Spent 2 hours playing in the arcade and 2 in the golf course! The outdoor scene is so tranquil and inviting. Beautiful and colorful! Everything seems to be very well taken care of, impressive.

i recently visited this cozy coffee shop and absolutely loved it. the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for working or relaxing with friends. the coffee was rich and flavorful, and the baristas were friendly and knowledgeable. i also tried a croissant, which was fresh and buttery. highly recommend this place for anyone looking for quality coffee and a chill vibe!

A fun place for kids and adults equally. They have 3 courses for mini golf. All quite nice. We had a lot of fun. The atmosphere is very vibrant. There are benches for birthday parties too. We had an all meat pizza with minicorn dog combo. Food was quite delicious. Staff could be a little more friendly.

Fun place. Average fast food, but the kids definitely enjoy them. The milk shake was good, but the large ones had another cup inside to take up space. Although there was still a lot of milk shake so no real complaints.

Very enjoyable for friends and family. Recommended for larger groups to make the experience even more fun. The bumper cars and the laser tag are super fun. When I went the laser maze wasn't working ??

Great place to spend time with the kiddos on a sunny day. It has a bit of everything so it is suitable for all ages. Now, I wouldn't recommend golf for younger kids because it is a game of patience and taking time, and a younger audience will get bored quickly, however , they have a sizable area of video games and you can't go wrong with that. The 4 stars are for two things. 1) although their service is good, I feel they do take a really long time to serve the food, even if there was no wait at the counter.

Great place for kids and adults to have some mini golf action! Spacious, well planned, exquisitely decorated with a wonderland feeling! Not sure about the quality of food as I didn't have any, but from the menu, the prices seemed reasonable! Don't miss this if you are in the south Bay, especially in the Milpitas area!

Golfland Milpitas is a beautiful place for a day outing or birthday parties. The place houses nice challenging outdoor structures to play golf. An indoor party hall, snack bar pizza and game arcade, bumping car station and a separate room housing special events like Halloween activities. They also run monthly memberships where members get unlimited fun.

Honestly going to Golf-land was a huge deal because it was very fun. It has an arcade, 3 golf courses, a laser tag ground, a laser maze, food, and even bumper cars ??. The cost to go in is only $15, but all we know is that the card for the arcade is extra ( it is $15 for the golf courses). I honestly recommend that you try the games, and food for yourselves if you're looking into going somewhere good for the weekend, holidays, or even if you're looking to do something special.

A larger facility than one in Sunnyvale. Golf course in excellent shape. Dodge?m cars are fun too. Only low is really high food or drink prices.

We went here for our kid's friend birthday party. This is an outdoor as well as indoor gaming place. You can play mini golf, outdoor almost 20 levels for golf. The indoor has an arcade which can be included in the birthday party package. Food has options like fruits, veggie, platter, cheese, platters pizzas, both plain cheese as well as veggie and chicken. They have multiple drinks option for kids and adults. Overall, the vibe of the place is really good. You will see lot of adults with their kids as well.

We had a blast! I myself, hadn't been there since 1984. This brought my family happiness. We laughed, we ate, we planned yet another Miniature Golf trip. We needed this. There are (3) courses. So plan on two to three hours to play; pending on how busy the place is when you go. There are lots of games...Skee Ball, Air Hockey and video games. There's also food and a big side room for parties. It's definitely kid and family friendly. We tried their awesome onion rings, cheese sticks and chicken; fries are stan

Fun place for arcades for the kids. Easy to have birthday parties either inside or outside. Also has 3 courses for mini golf that is great for the kids and fun for adults as well. No one really monitors you for mini golf but it is quite a fun time with friends. Parking is easy as well.

overall the mini golf course is pretty elaborate. the price varies depending on whether you choose 18 or 36 holes. we did the 36 and took us about 2 hours. a couple of the areas were a bit difficult as the ball would get stuck or lost in the water so have to be a bit careful and talk to those around. the arcade has a lot of game options and they also have bumper cars and laser tag. the main issue was the smell.. due to the location you do smell the milpitas sewage smell so it is better to go on a windy day.

I can only talk about the mini golf courses. Course 3 was most fun! I have tried 1&2 as well. I will recommend 2 if you aren't sure of mini golf or trying for the first time. It was a very fun experience golfing with friends and taking turns. It's not too crowded so you can take your time with multiple shots. Each course can easily accommodate groups of 4-6. They also have plenty of free parking which is a bonus! I did see a lot of arcade games for kids and even saw bumper cars so all groups can enjoy at th

Great spot to bring the kiddos. Played mini golf on course 1 and some arcade games. Golf areas are fun and well maintained. Kids can be challenged but still play the course. The cost seems reasonable for the time spent. Arcade games are plenty but definitely priced higher than expected. The best bet is the 1 hr unlimited for $15 but the $5 (25 points) can run out much quicker than expected.

This golf park is absolutely beautiful! There are little castles, buildings with Eastern architecture, and the best part is ? it's free! The lawn is so clean, and you can even bring your dog!

Our family had a great time here. It was pretty dead and the holes were fun so it made for a great time.

Courses open even on a cool, somewhat windy and drizzly day. Easy to reach off the freeway. Three-course classic mini golf course in Milpitas that three generations of my family have enjoyed. Cities of Fremont and Newark take note: so wonderful to see that this business has persisted without being ripped up to create more compact apartments or new homes. Friendly staff and some indoor game machines. Guests purchase games and select golf balls by color from a machine. Needs a little repair and maintenance--o

Good place to spend a weekend afternoon with kids. We chose Saturday afternoon 1 pm to 5 pm slot and it was not too crowded. As we cleared each hole on the course, the next one cleared up as people kept moving pretty quick. Once you finish all the 18 holes, you will be super tired. There are 3 courses to choose from. We liked the right most one the best. The first one starts at the Wild Wild West styled Saloon structure. After golf, you can try Laser Tagging with family too. Kids loved it. Laser tag is $10

We are monthly membership subscribers. Today, when we come to Golfland Milpitas. More than 10x machines we can't use membership arcade points to play. Because the staff told us that the store owner change the game machines settings. It's really bad and 100% impact our experience in Golfland Milpitas arcade area. So sorry to say that, this store will become unattractive if they're still doing things like this.

It was like walking down memory lane. I haven't been to this place for over a decade and amazingly enough nothing really has changed. They seem to have kept it up and added new arcade games to update the place. We didn't have any food but there was plenty of drinks and vending machines outside to choose from. I went with my 15 year old and 10 year old and they really enjoyed it here! It's hard to find something they both Like to do together because of their age difference. I would highly recommend bringing

It's a nice place to spend sometime with kids with golfing, arcade games and other activities. You can easily spend an hour or 2 here and it's very engaging. Nice friendly staff with a nice food section. Hope the instructions were more clear. We had to go back to the desk everytime for any questions as there were no instructors on the field

This place is Great for kids birthday party. I had my sons' birthday party here. You can choose 1,2, or 3 activities for the kids. They have bummer cars which the kids (big & small) loves. They also have laser tags and an arcade place along with the miniature golf. We had 2 laser tags, 2 bummer cars, and the kids also got to play in the arcade area. We had 27 kids not including the adults! They don't allow outside food except for the cake. We had a total of 5 pizzas, a veggie platter, friut platter, a sampl

The 12th hole ate my ball. The first and 2nd attendant didn't seem to know how to get ball back. They said my best bet would be to get another ball from the front counter. Went to get another ball and the clerk didn't seem customer oriented. So I didn't continue to putt the last 6 holes and left.

It was pretty fun. The courses seem to be at a medium level difficulty since I'm getting used to minigolf for the first time.

Their space is so wide, with three stations. (Each station has 18 holes.) Also, they have a free parking lot that's super convenient.

Good place for kids to try out mini golf, arcade games, lazer tag games and car games. In Golf they have 3 courses which will keep you busy easily for 1 to 2 hours. Recently they introduced unlimited 1-hr Arcade games offer for $12 and includes 20 tickets, which is a pretty good deal. Overall a good place to spend an afternoon with kids, friends and family.

I have been to this place thrice as of now, each time it amazes me in different way. The golf tracks are changed by the management with some new twist in few months of time. They are just awesome ??, I recommend you to visit. If this isn't enough, then you can even enjoy plethora of arcade games and some snacks too. I thing I wanted to mention here is that , after some snacks I took a Oreo shake but instead I was surprised to receive a big glass full of Oreo ice-cream. This is one catch which may mislead yo

Cute little place. The reception area is a little dark and run down but the golf courses are pretty well maintained and the views are beautiful from this location. Definitely a must try in daylight.

Course number 2 of the mini golf was fun and has a few amazingly big and detailed structures. I would say the overall variety of the course was low, however. Many of the holes are volcano shapes around the hole or a simple hill or 2 between you and the hole. The pizza was okay. The Nutella shake was great, but it's hard to go wrong with Nutella. They are currently decorated for Halloween already.

If you like Anthill type holes, this is the place for you (I do not). One or two is fine, but almost every hole is a lot. There are 3 courses, we did #2. It was very repetitive and multiple holes had issues. At Fort Apache if you hit it into the fort your ball gets stuck forever. The loop resulted in multiple balls landing in a nearby water hazard. A few other holes also lend themselves to balls leaving the course with little effort. Also, the gimmicky machine to get your balls didn't work. Four

We had a great time. Bought packages for all the kids and had fun in the arcade and playing mini golf and lazer tag and bumper cars. Employees are friendly and served the kids and my family well!

Mini golf is great here, they have 3 courses to choose from. It's very open with lots of space outside. Maintenance crew keeps the place looking great! Service at the desk is a little slow sometimes,

A really bad experience. Was tempted to ask for a refund. The golf course is more than 50% mounds with divots in the middle. Lacking in imagination. I feel sorry for whoever designed the course. There were 2 broken bridges and we had to step on the them to be even able to get the golf ball through. The hole rims were raised from the rest of the field which was surely due to poor upkeep only. Sucked out all of the fun from it when you adjusted the strength 7 times and it was obviously not even meant to be

Great mini golf courses! 3 courses of 18 holes. It could be almost perfect as I saw a few holes needs maintenance. For example, one hole was sealed. Also, a few game machines in arcade out of service. They would need a maintenance for sure. Dear staff/owner, please check the golf course once a day at least and you can easily find what's wrong!

Me and me lady had an absolute blast at this amusement metropolis. We played on the miniature golf course #2 and it was beautiful at night. There are some very challenging holes; we thought we would never get it in but we did ???? The arcade was LITTY. There were so many different and unique games to play. Some were not working though. We wanted to try the lazer maze but it was down as well. There was practically no one there from 1900-2100 on a Monday night. We like the Castro Valley location better but we

Good place for all ages to play golf, bumper car n games. We can buy tickets at store we can find dome mire deals which may not avail online. I reloaded/bought tickets for bumper car using the machine where ticket price is $1 less than store price. Foods available!

Super cute mini golf Added attraction was wonderful Easter egg hunt yesterday. We went there to ha e family time and it was time well spent

Got no doubt their pizza would still be good and their minigolf course is still peak and pristine, but I'm still sorely missing the era of Golfland where they had a ton of different rhythm games and kept up to date with fighting games...

Classic and awesome! Milpitas has 3 different golf courses so it's fun to choose! They also have bumper cars and a laser tag maze, but I didn't try any of those. Apparently the arcade games don't spit out tickets anymore, it just goes on a gift card type thing. That's kind of a let down. But if you're looking for mini golf, this is the place!!! We always have such a good time!

I went there with a scooter and played golf with the family and I had so much fun. Is a great environment

We only did the golfing. Getting inside and paying for clubs was easy. We loved how you could pick which color ball you want from the ball vending machine. The layout of the golfing area was a little confusing but nonetheless it was a great experience for us. Provides great bonding time. Being next to the highway made it a lot louder to hear people around us. Especially if it is a windy day. The arcade and everything else looked kind of forgotten.

It's a great place to take your kids...I would just recommend to check the weather before, in case it's too hot...thatd if you decide on playing miniature golf.

Don't do course 2. It's all the exact same hole where you go straight into an ant hill. Maybe other courses were better?

One can spend a good time (2-3 hours) with your kids of 5+ years by giving them a lovely and unique golfing experience. This is a great place to celebrate birthday parties too. The price is decent. We went on a weekday and there were a few groups only and that allowed us to give our daughter of 5 years a lovely golfing experience. There is also a gaming arcade which can engage kids for another 2 hours. I would say this is a better place to celebrate birthdays compared to Chuck e Cheese.

I like this place a lot, but some of the greens are busted which makes it's difficult to get your balls in. Either way, this is a super spacious Golfland with courses that are engaging and fun!

Kids will have fun. Food is ok. I wouldn't go back unless someone is doing a birthday party.

Had a good time with my son and his friend. We'll definitely be back. Great place, arrived at the perfect time 1230, hardly anyone, course is fun, perfect for a kids birthday party, tables are under the shade and there's lots of room. Arcade was cool too.

Love this place and we keep coming back to Golfland with kids!! Awesome place to come with family and/or friends!! 3 different courses with different difficulty levels and beautiful designs.

We had fun. Plenty of course options and the arcade had plenty of good game options. Pricing was certainly fair. Golf ball color options were also fun

Had a lot more fun than I expected for Minigolf. Quite dead during the time we went but that just means we didn't have tot rush. Amusing themed holes but dang those volcano style holes!

Pretty awesome minigolf courses (3 total)! Food is decent but nothing special. There's also an arcade, laser tag, and bumper cars. Only downside is that the minigolf is right next to the freeway which can be a bit noisy.

Nice trip to the golf land Milpitas location. It was too cold to play golf. Lazer maze and Lazer tag are also very entertaining. Arcade games were just ok. Would be visiting again when temperatures rise a bit.

Spent a few hours hear last Sunday for daughters bday. Kids had a lot of fun here. $28 per kid incl 2slicesbof pizza and soda. Not bad.

The fourth hole on course 3 ate our golf balls. We had to get another ball. We changed to course 1. There was a lot of debris on many of the holes. I also saw empty cans of flavored alcoholic seltzer littered in one of the streams. Untidy and need drastic upkeep.

I haven't been to this place in a couple of years and our whole party had a lot of fun. The arcade is closed right now because of the restrictions, but the bumper cars are open.

Family fun night. Pizza and 1 hour unlimited arcade for $13.

Such a fun time with family!! Beautifully conceived and perfectly executed! The perfect place to enjoy a few hours playing with friends and family!!

When you go there so much fun to go!The laser tag is fun for friends and family to go with and time with. Birthday party can go to Golf land!

Had a great time here today with family (hubby & our 2 1/2 yr old son). The place had a golf area and arcade inside. Didnt try the food but i did see a pizza arcade so thats always nice for kids. I liked that it wasnt too crowded as other places so you really get to enjoy playing. The only recommendation i would give is to go later in the day when it isnt too hot cos the golf area isnt shaded so it was too ?? for us. Adults $12.50 each and kids under 4 get in for free.

Golf outdoors was great! Nice place to spend a d few hours enjoying the Spring Sun with Kids. 3 courses, which keep it interesting and not too much crowd on a weekday, so meant not waiting a lot.

This is the spot in this area if you crave mini golf! 2 courses, one called easy and one called hard although both pretty similar. Decent arcade attached. Can get busy on weekends.

Very nice ambience, especially after dark. Lots of options to select to compete challenge.

We did my wife's birthday event here and I am giving it 5 stars for one reason and that is our amazing house - Eloura Rubio. She went above and beyond and made us feel welcome, took amazing care, was prompt in helping us out with information or any questions and genuinely cared. We didn't care so much for the food quality (nacho platter, vegetarian platter, pizza) but Eloura's amazing customer service makes the whole experience a 5-star experience! Beyond that, golfland is very nice and well maintained. T

It has 3 big and beautiful courses and beautiful landscapes, we love the place ?

Terrible customer service. Nothing worked when we were there. We were told everything would work in a few minutes but waited two hours and still not worked

Awesome place had nice time. . Understand game rules and play. Best to enjoy with groups.

I appreciate that this place does a good job of sanitizing the equipment. The golf balls were soaking in sanitizing solution and they thoroughly wiped down the clubs. It was a fun experience.

Fun and games. Nice food too

Fun course for a date or afternoon with kids. Also bumper cars and other games inside for families with kids.

Great mini golf course. There's 3 different difficulties so it's nice for adults and kids! The arcade wasn't great though a lot of the games were broken or just out of service, very limited.

Kinda pricy. Staff looks impatient and lazy. But mini golf is fun and unique.

Absolutely loved this placeeee. Will definitely visit again

Save your money! This place Seriously needs major improvements inside and out...the arcade, restroom and inside area are pretty run down. I won't even talk about the torn turf on half the course or the malfunctioning holes where you are lucky if you can retrieve your golf ball! Let's not even mention the horrific statues on the course that frighten young & older kids (tree, gorilla, etc)...walked up to the food counter and YES, even the employees were run down and just seeing how food was handled by the sta

Good place to spend time with kids ... food was decent and lot of fun .. my son enjoyed the laser shoot a lot

Always a fun place to take the family. The courses are in pretty good condition. The staff is friendly. There are bumper cars, laser tag and an arcade as well. The food at the snack bar is not that great. But I'm also not expecting a Michelin star meal at a mini golf course. This is a good place to take the family for a few hours of fun.

Great location. Easy parking. Some folks playing are not clear on the rules of letting one party clear a hole before trying to use the same one. Great if clear etiquette was posted for convinience

The mini courses we're ok for the most. However, the price was expensive. I recommend getting a day pass if you have the time. They have bumber cars, though some are out of service. Arcade was ok they only trouble was the card reader on most of the games it wasn't reading it, and I had to slide the card multiple times. The customer service was not good. We bought drinks from the dispenser and they gave us warm drinks with little ice.

I recently visited there and had an amazing time! The mini golf course was challenging yet fun, and the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. The course was well-maintained and had a variety of obstacles that made each hole unique and exciting. Additionally, the staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with tips on how to improve our game and making sure we had a great time. But what really made my experience stand out was the bumper cars! I didn't expect to find such an entertaining ride at a mini gol

We throw a party for my granddaughters 5th birthday and we had a blast. The host was very helpful and he made sure we had everything. Thank you

Decent experience for the price. Took a party of 3 about 1.5 hrs to complete course 2. It was super hot indoors, and half the arcade was not open. Active construction was happening indoors.

Very good place to bring kids with multiple options. More than 1 course for Mini golf, arcade games, bumper cars. Has food and canopies for birthday parties.

It was a fun experience! We just did the mini golf, which was really fun and well-designed, but the arcade part was a bit hot and stuffy (also a lot of small kids at the bumper cars).

It has a great golf area and games. Some carpet on the holes need repair but overall great fun! I brought my 2 year old and they get to play free! They have mini golf sticks to use and it makes it easier to play. Food was fresh and quick and staff was helpful.

I had a decent time. I do prefer Fun Works that had a little bit more to offer! We did have a nice time together. My best friend took my 2 granddaughters, ( who are 6yrs. and 11yrs old going on 17yrs old), the girls enjoyed themselves. My 6 yr old actually got a Hole in 1.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
