Excellent place for family and kids or a date. There's free parking in the front that's close to the entrance. You can purchase the ticket online and get the arcade credits for 50 cents more. The 18 hole course on the right is easier and I would start on this side first. Once you're done with that, you can go to the left side for the other 18 hole course but they're more difficult for kids. The courses were clean and organized. Pick a different mini golf place if you want to be treated well. We went at about 10:30 pm and got 36 holes, however they started turning off all the lights and machines at 1130 when they close at 12. We knew we probably werent going to finish however we still paid to be there. We paid for 36 holes to then have to leave because the course was unplayable. The staff was rude when I brought this up to them and just said " my bad" . There's lots of other mini golf places in the bay area my advice is to not pick

I had never played golf before. It was a lot of fun! I liked that it was like a quest. Each new track had its own level of difficulty. It was interesting. I think this place is just great for children. There are places where you can sit and wait for someone to finish their shot. There is also a place where you can hold a big event or birthday. Fun place. I recommend to visit. You can also not worry about the evening. I thought nothing would be visible after sunset. But their field is lit up.

Brought my 8yr old niece here who's visiting from out of state. She loved it! If we had more time we would've done both courses (my niece wanted to see the castle so badly) but we only got thru the adventure side. There's always a next time! Nice and very clean mini golf, staff was ok but didn't do anything extra to make it a 5 stars. We went with a group of kids 6 to 9, little challenging for the 6 years old but lots of fun for the 9 years old. They have 2 courses to choose from, and it's not very clear so we did a mix of both :)

I had such a great time here! It was so much fun for date night or family night. It's great to play in the daytime. Even more beautiful to play at night.

Two options for mini-golf courses, one being more difficult than the other. A great way to spend the day! Right off the freeway, and plenty of parking. The only reason I knocked a star off is bc the arcade systems they use. You go to play a game, but you have to use a prepaid card, and when you can it the system decides it needs to reboot. Or you win tokens, but you need to use one of the four or five machines to load your card - but which one is it?! Could it be... the one that's REBOOTING?! Kinda frustr

We went to Golden Tee Goldland to celebrate my daughter's birthday. All the kids had a great time. They have two courses to choose from. They also have a small arcade area with prizes redemption. When you book a party you have two options to choose from. The price of the package includes pizza and drink for the kids. You have to order additional food for the adults. They also get a game card for the arcade. They have free parking.

It was okay, but not great. employees definitely didn't want to be there. The holes are too shallow, so you might think you got it in but it rolls/bounces right back out. Sometimes the "green" has a slight slope so my ball would roll back.

I have never played on a course where every ball you hit comes back to you. Granted we only played the Adventure Land side, but that was because they allowed 2 different groups of eleven and twelve to play on the other course (rules state no more than 4 in a group). It's very frustrating to hit a ball 50 feet only a few inches from the cup to have it come all the way back to you and go out of bounds.

You can't go wrong at the mini golf especially if you're local. They've really cleaned the bathrooms they're spectacular especially since they're outdoor. Children under 5 golf for free and the prices are very reasonable. I am looking forward to throwing my son's birthday there.

Really good courses with some excellent holes. They can be challenging but are really good and in great condition. If you want a second round you can pay 4 dollars each which is great value.

Nice place for a round of golf, but lacks customer service, my personal experience, I asked about their membership details and had some questions the answer i got is that everything is online on their website fair enough,but that is exactly how u loose customers, better communication and service would be appreciated specially if someone is asking. Rather than saying check it online.

A fun family friendly location that is managed with a smile. The employees make the experience all the more enjoyable, kind friendly faces and even excitement that mirrors their customers. The course is challenging for young and old and makes great use of its space. The inside gaming area houses state of the art card technology for paying and receiving tickets and a plethora of enjoyable games of chance and skill. Truly a gem of Castro Valley.

Great place for family mini golf and arcade. Expect wait times for the group ahead of you in busy times

A great family-friendly putt putt place with 36 holes. Pricing was reasonable and holes were constructed really well. Some of them were quite a challenge! (We didn't play with the recommended 6 stroke limit). Would love to go back at night since there are a lot of lights around the course.

I wasn't expecting to enjoy this place as much as I did. It's a great social distancing activity. The course is well maintained and we enjoyed that the holes had mixed levels throughout.

Mom got a hole in one on the last hole so she was happy. Fun, safe, challenging course, very reasonable prices. An easy way to spend 2 hours with family outdoors and laugh at how bad everyone is at pee wee golf. Do wear sunscreen if you're fair - not a lot of shade.

The arcade game (DDR)that I came here to play, along with several other games is always out of order but the attendant does NOT put any effort into fixing the problem at all!

A really nice place to get in a round or two of mini golf. This place has two different 18 hole courses, and the one on the far side away from the boulevard is definitely the more interesting of the two. We had a great time.

I hadn't played miniature golf for a long time, but didn't remember it being this easy to hit the balls out of the course. We still had fun with our grandkids. They also enjoyed the arcade, but there is nowhere for us grown-ups to sit while they play.

I've been here a couple times for a friend's birthday, and we always have a good time. Definitely keep an eye on the rubber teeing mats, though; they're a little rough and can catch your putter if you're not careful.

We spent half a day here on their 18 hole course. It was fun and easy enough for the kids.

This place has been here forever! Back in 1988 it was packed all the time. This time around I was pleasantly surprised by how well they have kept it. Clearly they have made renovations. But it still looks the same and still has fun for the whole family.

I went with my husband and my son. We had a lot of fun. Looks clean and the landscaping is nice. We went when it was a little busy so we had to wait at each hole for the people in front of us to finish. I didn't mind it too much but my son was a little impatient. Had minimal interaction with the staff but they seemed nice. Overall it's a fun place to go to and spend time as a family.

My family and I love this family-friendly place to enjoy mini golf, play arcade games, and make lots of memories. The whole area and clean well-groomed. The Arcade offers many machines to choose from for all ages. They even have a dedicated party place to hold your special events, like birthdays. I highly recommend this place. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We attended for a birthday and they took care of everything. The kids were really happy and it wasn't crowded on a nice Saturday

I was hesitant to select golfland for my sons birthday party but it was an outdoor venue in a central and safe location that allowed outside food, so we went for it. My partner had taken my kids here before so they were familiar and I was coming in hoping for the best. Bottom line is I absolutely loved this venue! Great place for fun during covid and a date night. Greens are quick, but look new. Honestly cheap for an hour + depending on how busy it is.

Compared to most mini-golf places, this one was very well maintained. Sometimes the 18 holes could get repetitive. The arcade was ok, most games were shut down. I would recommend it if you are in the area.

The kids and I love this place! We go there all the time and play a round or two of mini golf, both courses can be fun, someone's there's plenty of people out there and can be slow moving. But it's still fun They have a decent arcade, not a lot of room in there so it isn't huge, but very good nonetheless. My son has already had his birthday party here and it was lots of fun, helpful staff and everyone had fun. Good place for the family!

Great fun today! The disinfecting of equipment was happening as they handed it to us, so we knew. There were a lot of people, but everyone wore their masks. No birthday parties or big functions right now. We had a blast! Great place to enjoy some fun.

This is a great place for some weekend fun with the kids. Or weekday if you live closer. We love to come here even though our 6 year old "beats" us every time! We have memberships to everything under the sun for kids but still they always want to come here. Lol. Anyway, always a good time. Definitely gets crowded on the weekends but we don't mind. Most people are still masking even outside and so did we so that's nice.

A no frills mini golf course with 2 18 hole courses to choose from. Both sides are very similar so you aren't really missing anything by picking one over the other. The location can get rather busy so I'd suggest patience. Overall I had an enjoyable time. For 1 adult ticket I paid 14 dollars.

Love this place. Been coming here for years. Two different golf courses. Mostly enjoy visiting the arcade. About a dozen ticket games and another dozen non ticket games. They have ski ball, some driving games, shooter games, air hockey, and some claw games including a couple of play till you win claw games. Love this place. Make sure you have about between an hour or 2 if you go with a bigger group. Because it gets awesome! Place has an arcade and tickets where you can redeem them for cool stuff for kids! And adults too(they have everything from bluetooth speakers to hot dog toasters.. yes. Hot dog toasters.

The over all mood here is great fun. I love the course and all the creative little structures. Some ppl complained about the depth of the gold holes, but they do get more shallow as it goes, which I assume is to add to the challenge. Great place for groups or dates. Upon entering the golf course, another player won a gold game and just handed it to me. I was having a poor day mentally and that was a real booster so if she ever sees this, thanks!!!

Really excellent course. Very well kept, interesting challenges. There are a LOT of volcanoes, so be aware of that. But ready access, friendly staff, fun course (two 18 hole courses - street side harder than back side).

This is an awesome local place to get out with the friends or family (or both!) on a nice day, and do something fun together! The course has 2 sides, each having 18 holes. You'll have a blast trying to putt your way into, over, and around obstacles that are harder than you think! The place is impeccably maintained, folks are friendly and there's never a line to get started!

It's a fun spot. The courses are starting to show a lot of wear and tear. It was crazy busy on a Saturday. A lot of waiting for groups to finish their turn. The equipment was not it the best shape. It's popular, but be prepared for kids running around and waiting your turn. We had a good time, but only a 3-star good time.

Overall nice but customer service could have been better, cashier seemed more focused on talking to other cashier instead of me. Used to come here practically on a daily basis when I was a teenager and younger in Castro valley. It was great visiting an old friend who lives right by there, and to take my 26-year-old son to one of my old stomping grounds. Nothing's changed for the most part but they have kept up on it and it's just like I remembered it. Plenty of video games inside. Staff was very friendly. Although a couple of my friends that used to work there apparently had moved on.. LOL. I would highly recommend this for families

I am actually fairly discerning when it comes to mini golf and I can say that this place has great mini golf! Lots of fun challenges and structures, well maintained and the ball rolls consistently how you expect it to. It's only $14 for 36 holes, less for kids and less on weekdays. There's also an arcade inside. My only complaint is that there is no snack bar. There is a basic vending machine though. Still--will definitely take a date here!

I use to come here as a boy. It is still in good shape. It has two courses. We took the less popular one closer to the road. It was fun and enjoyable. Pricing is competitive. Parking was okay. Family doing birthday party in glass enclosure in between both courses. Some video games inside. You can buy pizza. But this place has many memories for me as a child, teen, young adult and now as a senior citizen.

2 courses.Fun and challenges all. Lot of people but all wearing masks/polite to one another. Parking. Arcade area and they sell drinks for 2.00. Recommend eat before go, bring hats for kids,water,sunscreen,and snacks. Took us about hour and half to finish.

Been going for years. Although it can be more than a year between times playing here. But that said, its always clean, great conditions, challenging, and perfect for the kids. I don't have any but i have brought other peoples kids here and they loved it too. Play 18 or 36 up to you and how busy it is. Still fun during the day: less busy, and definitely try it at night, adds to the experience. Oh and don't forget the 19th hole. Knock it down the middle and you could win free round, i think, haven't actually

This place was really fun and we didn't expect it to be super fun. The line qaa quick even though there were a lot of people. The set up was a little but tricky enough to tease the brain ?? and my husband and I had a blast.
