Staff is friendly but games are pricey. The place is clean and everything looks new! Good way to entertain the children.
What a great find! Was walking to the ice cream shop next door and stumbled in here instead! Had been maybe twenty years since my last arcade adventure, happy to see they've gotten even better! They have a great mix of games, from VR to shooters and race car games and ski ball. Everything was super new and clean. We had so much fun we didn't end up making it to the ice cream shop ??
Quite a scam - for $20 you get only 400 points but each game required around 50 points so your chance to win something is almost none. Other arcades is around 6 points per game so you can figure out your chances .
$50 lasted us less than 10 minutes with our 2 daughters. I don't care if there aren't great prizes? just let them plan the games! The staff was very friendly and the place was clean.
Great place to spend a few hours once it gets dark outside! We enjoyed having something fun to do between shopping and dinner. They have a good selection of games and it was very clean inside.
We took our kids to Gold Rush arcade and it was by far the best arcade experience we've ever had (and we go to arcades often). Our time spent with our kids there was the perfect addition to our day! We will definitely be going back!
Very expensive pricing with unrealistic ticket limits. The only game that I found fun (aside from air hokey) was a shooting game which was some of the most fun I have had in a long time. I would only go here to play one specific game.
Hands down the nicest and cleanest arcade I've ever been in. The owner was incredibly nice and helpful and they had a variety of different games.
The best new addition to Stowe! The arcade is spotlessly clean, great variety of games, and the staff is wonderful!
SO clean, incredible game selection, owner was incredibly friendly and kind - an absolute gem of a place
Great find! We spent some time here while waiting for dinner. We had a blast with the games!
Cool place for the kiddos.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
