A very nice clean store. They have a nice selection of Magic the Gathering packs from the last few years, but don't have bulk singles to look/ buy from. A very good selection of accessory though, from sleeves to deck boxes to mats and binders, a nice full gambit of items.
Jordan was fantastic! We are newbies to RPG gaming. He was very knowledgeable and kind. The store is laid out well with some great options! We will definitely be coming here for future gaming needs!! Excited to start our family D & D journey!
The hours on the website are incorrect. Said they opened at 10am, I drove over an hour to get here and they were closed. I even rechecked the website while outside. I let the staff know when they did open about the issue. They told me no that they open at 11:30. I came back a couple weeks later at 11:30, and still closed. Website now says opens at noon. A half hour difference might not seem like much, but misinformation and time management are my big pet peeves. I've only been here twice, and because each d
We were told about this shop by Hidden Treasures ~ they were super right to send us here for more MTG related gear. This shop has a ton of MTG packs for sale and they have a look up for singles. Lots of cool dice and RPG general items - in a great location downtown (not great for parking) for an evening out playing card games!
cool small local card and game store with tables to play games at. nice staff. super lowkey. 4 stars because the grub n grog (food and alcoholic drinks) is currently shut down until further notice. still a great little game shop
We have come here for years! Excellent place for playing casual table top games, arcade games, and purchasing gaming supplies. We love to come hang out and play our own games or color at their eatery, Grub & Grog! Check their Facebook for the official gaming schedule and make sure to check their hours before you come. Every time we have come here, we have been made to feel welcome and part of the family. If you like games, please check them out! All ages/families welcome, too!
Rad little shop. Great place for all your gaming needs. Huge supply of MTG packs, times of dice packs in a range of prices, solid collection of minis. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely will be spend money here.
Goin Gaming, and its sister store Discs and Dice, both carry an excellent selection for fans of every type of gaming. It is especially good if you are a fan of TCG?s as they have a big selection of packs from MtG, Pok?mon, Lorcana, Flesh and Blood and even other lesser known sets. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the setting for both stores is spacious and enjoyable to visit.
Great welcoming environment. The staff is always ready to answer questions and they are knowledgeable! Awesome place for MTG and Pokemon collectors/players.
After playing in the pre-release for the latest Flesh and Blood at Goin' Gaming's new location, I left feeling discouraged and disinterested from attending further events at Goin' Gaming. It was expressed by staff during our first round that they would not have any kind of prizing during the event for either participation or performance, and instead they suggested that if players wanted additional product that they could instead purchase packs in bundles of 8 as part of a "pre-release package," essentially
Google maps says they close at 8: 30pm but I got there at 8: 08pm and the lights were completely off and not a body in the store.
Absolutely amazing n everyone is so very kind. There is so much to do and buy at a reasonable price. The people who work there feel like I've known them forever. Well done yall!!!
They moved from this location to down town troutdale. Better location. More around to enjoy 2nd and buxton
I come for the Wednesday 40k Escalation league. The staff is friendly and helpful, they have a great deli and serve nicely presented drinks/beers. The patrons that come to the event are all great people who are there to have fun with the game. So far, I've had a great experience every week I go. My attached pictures come from the Wednesday night event.
Nice little game shop. Friendly people lots of mtg and pokemon
Great DnD selection that's really all I looked at. Big selection of paints as well for the Games Workshop fellas?
This is a really fun looking shop. I wish that I lived locally. I'm definitely a magic the gathering player but they seem to have a lot more than just magic. They even have a few arcade games and what looks to be a cafe though that part wasn't open yet while I was there. Employees seemed really friendly.
Loved your store BUT the retail space is empty but google is still showing that it exists.
Awesome friendly card shop. I've gotten a few singles from here for a steal of a price. I've also gotten a few pokemon packs, and I've pulled some really neat rare cards. This place is great!!!
Cozy little shop with a little of everything for all tabletop gamers.
Awesome store. Great staff. Friendly environment.
Large store and gaming area. Cool Cafe included. Employees a little lack luster.
Really fun little spot! Out of the way, and tons of parking. They have TONS of dice, cards, and campaign books, literally anything and everything you need to start, and run Pathfinder, D&D, Magic, and several other games! They have a huge Pac-Man game that my kiddos got a kick out of. If you dig board games, Pok?mon, Magic The Gathering, D&D, Pathfinder, or any other games like that, you NEED to hit this place up!
Covid update 4/3/22: The menu isn't the same. It's limited but it's still a great place and this will pass. Things will get better. They've added hard alcohol to the menu for example. Keep an eye on this place for good things Old review: I live in Vancouver and own my own store like this. In the interest of full transparency, I met the owners before they opened the store (not much before) but have been nothing short of impressed by their store. They have invested countless hours and dollars into creat
My best friend and I have been coming here to play MTG for a year or two. The staff is very friendly and understanding. The store has recently expanded to include even more activities and games than before. It is a really nice environment for adults who want to play the games they love, and for children to learn about new games. The wares are a tad expensive for me, but if that's the price I pay for a good atmosphere it's more than worth it.
Great store for whatever your entertainment needs are! I love the chess and Monopoly boards they have! Everything of very high quality and the food is tasty!
I'm not sure what fair pricing of Lorcana another review mentions but charging essentially double MSRP is price gouging through and through. This is the type of practice that will kill a game and its community before it starts. Other stores in town have no problem ordering stock and not gouging at such obscene levels. At the end of this day this shop is a sad excuse for a game store (one look at their tired anemic bored game inventory speaks volumes) in a sea of much superior stores in the general metro a
Great gaming community that enjoys the family-style entertainment. Owners are anxious to please and always give great personal service. Excellent artist provides reasonably priced paint nights for a fun evening. Always newest products... on line store too!
The staff is kind and knowledgeable. With a "want" section on their website, I know exactly what to bring in for trade so I don't waste my time or theirs with tons of cards to sift through. Even better is when I bring my toddler in she can play with the toys and coloring books while I do my business (the staff is also understanding when she gets a little crazy). Amazing collection of interesting board games. Would recommend to anyone.
Nice place, great prices and well organized. Good folks too! Hoping to come back soon!
Miniatures, board games, books, cards, arcade, bar, food, and only one person working? Just about everything had a $5 markup from every other game shop. Inflated prices on cards too and there were stacks of unsorted cards all over the place when I looked around. This store has a lot of potential so I really want to give a good review, but there's just way too much missing the mark here.
Great spot for the gaming community. Dan, Nathan, and Becky are amazing. Flesh and blood Monday nights are strong. Running 8+ armory's every week.
The fat blonde woman they have working the counter needs to learn some customer service skills. One of the most horrid people I've ever had the displeasure to encounter. Absolutely will not be back. Discourage anyone from supporting them. Disgusted by the way we were treated by her when we were there?
Family orientated fun place to be any day or night of the week! Lots of scheduled events for RPG and other games. Clean atmosphere where all are welcomed and treated fairly. Comfortable and safe place for family and adult entertainment. Reasonable pricing and so community orientated. Owners are well versed in all games and offer free lessons through the week. Go...you'll be glad you did!!
Lorcana just dropped this week and they still had product in, fair priced across the board, and had great customer service from the two clerks. Always a pleasure to go in for any tcg or hobby needs!
Nice shop with quite the selection, but I can't get past the fact that their Pokemon products are priced anywhere from 50%-150% above retail. I'd love to support local card shops but things like this makes it extremely difficult. If you're looking for sealed pokemon products I would NOT recommend going here unless you absolutely have to. This is worse than the difference scalpers charge for a PS5
Gotta pay to sit and play? Prices seemed high especially jumpstart for some reason. Employees seemed to stare at me like they hadn't worked retail before. When they first opened I really liked them but I'm not sure if the owner is hands off now. But with not many card shops around it's upsetting I don't think about this one as often
I'd love to give an actual review of this place, but it seems like everytime I come by they are closed! Seriously, how does this place stay open when they close at 5 and are closed all day Tuesday and Wednesday. You're better off going down the street if your looking for games or card packs. At least they are open everyday until 8pm.
Nothing bad about it, when I found out that there was a game shop by my mother place I was surprised. I go there when I can to get trading cards for my collection. But for those who are regulars, I ask you to post what you think
Amazing little local hobby shop. Employees and owners are all wonderful nerds just like us! They have regular events, tables, and an in-house restaurant area where anyone can go play any time good food, grog and games? Support local!
Came here about a week ago and was helped right away. The lady helped me with finding a deck for my brother and helped me with buying a booster box and answered all the questions I had for her. Customer service was great and I'll be making my magic the gathering purchases here from now on ??
Very well stocked on Pok?mon but sadly all are priced anywhere from 50%-100% above market. I think that's why it's stocked no one?s buying that lol. I mean a Shining Fates ETB for $90?.come on it's $40 at Target??
This place is awesome! It's roomy, cheery, friendly and welcoming. They have good deals on food and so many cool things to buy, fun gaming groups and even group painting! Love it!
[EDIT 11/25/2018] I went in yesterday for the soft opening of their food and beverage service after the recent remodel. I would never have recognized the place! It's so roomy, with space to move and browse freely without feeling like you're interrupting a game. The food was tasty; we ordered a "Cannon Grinder" (pepperoni, fresh mozzarella, marinara) and the "Seacow" (roast beef, grilled peppers, forgot what kind of cheese). Both were served hot off a panini press (I think) with a sweet pickle and a bag of c
My grandson Billy Jr. goes here he likes to look and the funky pops. He loves it there he just wishes there were better funky pops.
Fantastic game store with a generous selection of different types of games - from board and card games, pokemon, Magic...even paints and brushes. They're worth a trip! Great people! Great store!
Love this shop. Better prices and better products. I love family game nights and the fact that You can try out the in-store games available for sale before you purchase. My kids go here all the time.
Great atmosphere, and an excellent place to play Magic, D&D, and just about any other table top activity
Becky and Alan are great and care a lot about there customers. They try really hard to get to know you even if you're only there for a few minutes. The place could be bigger. If you try to play games at the store with more than a handful of people it'll get really cramped
Dan was awesome! Online said store had game I was after, but it was wrong. He sold me demo for my upcoming party. Easy to find location & I will be going back for other games.
Great customer service. perfect stock. Very nice people! This is an amazing store if you need some cards for your card game of any type!
While stuff tends to be a bit pricey, I really love the atmosphere and the staff here. They're super friendly and helpful. Their metal dice are cool.
I've never played D&D before and I came for the Tuesday night game. The DM was great and really friendly and welcoming. The whole staff and place was great. I'll be back
Great shop with super helpful staff and an excellent selection. Regulars are really friendly and welcoming of new people at events.
If your looking for optimum IRL larping or gaming.. go to going gaming if you can EDH, EH.. try on the fly of it. Or zip your flies up and don't be a wallflower like a bad 90's cover band and cover your howeeird or don't and go out to going gaming for grub grog and find ye landlovers a good hearted lass.. cheers
Easily my favorite game shop around. Always friendly, helpful staff, reasonable prices, clean store. Seems like they always have what I'm looking for.
I so recommend going here if your into card, table top, or board games! Fun events and always nice people that are down to play whatever youre into. Great place to hang and play.
Friendly local gaming store, that also serves great food. Lots of board games, dice, and collectables. The person working that day gave good recommendations on new games to try.
My husband plays Magic here on Wednesdays and loves the group. Clean, helpful and personable. Glad to see them there!
Wonderful store! Huge variety of product, clean and bright inside, super helpful and knowledgeable staff. Awesome variety of events and game nights.
Awesome place to game. Monday night flesh and blood crew is consistent and fun competitive. Highly recommended
I went in with a weak idea of what I was looking for and the staff was more than willing to take the time to help me find the right games. They gave me several options and the explained each game in detail. I took two games home and they were both a hit with the whole family. I will be going back if and when I need more games. Thank you for your help!! :)
Genuine and friendly staff. Great place for hanging out with lots of room for any tabletop game. Great selection of sample games as well.
Great game shop! Big selection, lots and lots of D&D minis, paint, dice, all the things a growing gamer needs
Excellent place to get trading cards. I love the YU GI Oh cards that I got from this place. The staff is nice and the products are really cool.
It's a great place full of board games and card games and weekly they do events like I do D&D on Wednesdays and they are actually thinking to expand the shop!
Awesome place to go play chill and eat. Amazing pple and staff def wish Tony would be back on Saturday nights though he really made it a great time when he was there.
Not cheap but fair pricing, very fun place to shop. Havent been here without covid, but it looks like the food side wood make for a fun evening.
Over time service has declined, products not kept in pristine condition, promises to support groups go unfulfilled. Best I can say is that that have tables to play games on.
Just remodeled much bigger they have a small arcade a karaoke night lots of cards and board games every one is super chill and cool some food options too with drinks (alchohol) they run d and d campaigns and magic tournaments
Great little gem of a game shop/ cafe. Spaces to play D&D, card games and anything else, and a cafe with a surprisingly good selection of meals and snacks.
Didn't buy anything just looked around and keeping it in mind if I'm looking for something in particular for old or new gaming things. Very nice staff, very knowledgeable and was will to help me look for things I was looking for even if they didn't have it.
Great board games and surprisingly good food. Don't forget classic arcade games in the back! Very friendly staff
Standard game/card shop with fair prices and courteous staff. Holds events etc, nothing special about it to earn 5-stars though.
Great card store great service and great products like pokemon card and magic the gathering and other thing my only conplayn is it a little over priced.
Stop in to try the there new deli. Thought the price was high, but the food was really good. Good place to kick back to eat and try a game.
It's got a great selection of most tabletop games, the only thing I found lacking was the Yu-Gi-Oh section, which was non-existent.
My new home gaming shop. A true hidden treasure with a great staff and great selection. This place beats the hell out of the other shops around.
Extremely helpful staff, very honest and knowledgeable about products. Patient and kind staff that are willing to explain and answer repetitive and dumb questions.
Don't sell a card online only for a customer to pay and put a refund in, I hate playing games like that and it's unfair to the customer.
My favorite local game store. Very close to downtown Gresham. Friendly staff!
Had lunch here, the lasagna soup was delicious and my sandwich, a panini, with chicken, avacado, provolone smoked bacon and sun-dried tomatoes. Yummo I will eat here again ??
It's a great place for all your gaming needs
Prices for cards here are $30-$100 more then down the street, you're better off just ordering from Amazon
This store has a lot of really cool things, and the prices are more than fair.
Nice little shop. Carries Ultimate Guard products so that's a plus. Always nice to avoid buying online when possible.
This game store is a small peice of home fun, friendly and most of all welcoming environment! fun for everyone
Nice staff, good inventory, reasonable prices. The built in diner serves good food, and the staff are knowledgeable about their product.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
