This place is a blast from the past! Air hockey, pinball, basketball hoops, all kinds of gaming consoles, arcade games of course and even guitar hero!! Had such a fun date night here and I believe it was less than $30 for 2 arm bands and 2 bottled drinks. Took the kids another day and they had a blast, especially with the how hard you hit game!
Walked in and the first person to greet us was the owner, who was extremely friendly to us. Great selection of games and also a great full bar!
We recently celebrated, my grandson's 11th birthday, there. There's lots of games, for one low price. You can leave & come back, without having to pay again. They serve a few food items, or you can bring your own. The owner was very friendly & personable. Kids & adults as well, enjoyed themselves. ????
Super cool place to hang out and play the games from my childhood. The food was great !!!! I don't drink alcohol so it can't comment on that aspect. But the young lady behind the bar was super friendly! Over all I loved the atmosphere, the food. The cleanness and the politeness of the workers. We will certainly return . So Glad it's not closing!!!!!!
I absolutely love going here. Great atmosphere, great selection of pinball tables, and some dang good food and drinks.
Wow. Terrific collection of classics and updated classics including air hockey. Current pinballs. All play as much as you want for the price of admission. I played 8 classic arcade games and 4 pinballs and all controls worked 100%. Plus a bar and food--why leave?
Took my grandson and he had a blast! Lots of fun at a very reasonable price.
Great place to hang out! I loved all the retro arcade games, my son loved Xbox X. The only thing we weren't able to try was the Guitar Hero station because it seemed like some people lived there and never left it. Price was reasonable too!
This place is AMAZING! The first and main thing to know is that it's not a quarter-eater. It's like 12 bucks for an all-day pass and you can just press start to continue. We can finally beat all those games that taunted us as kids! They've got lots of cool games and legit analog pinball too, as well as refreshments and such. They're also right next to CiCis pizza so that's cool.
I was so surprised at the selection of games here. It's not just old school games and they have a great selection of fighting games and you can even play retro consoles. Everyone working there was super nice and the food and drinks are reasonably priced. I can tell the owners really care about the customer experience. I'll be back
EDIT: I finally got to meet with the owner this week. He, just like last time, was super sweet. I didn't want anything that wasn't fair and he had no problem with that. He is suppose to address the issues with the "General Manager". For his sake and the sake of his business I hope he does. He is also supposed to address the vaping. I plead with him to please watch the cameras, hopefully he will. He needs to know how she is and what goes on while he's not there. I can't say I would go there again, especially
The games are old, screens are faded and some of the joysticks are loose. But overall I became a teenager again skipping class and hanging out in the arcade at Midway Mall. Don't let this place die out, it needs to be a permanent fixture of our community. It's really worth a visit.
Had a fun night with my 18 yr old son, playing old and new video games. They had a trivia games as which was fun. I really like that it's a small quaint place to hang out with friends, family or whatever. Overall it's a laid back and chill venue!
Glitches arcade is a great Place to take the family for a day. Not too expensive and the kids love it! We've had several birthdays there for the boys. And they've all had such great time! And the employees there are so nice.
Very fun and chill place to hangout at!! Had a birthday get together up there and absolutely loved all the staff and friends and family up there!! The boss and manager both are very nice and friendly!
Finally we have a place we're everyone can go for all ages and enjoy some nostalgia from every generation. Extremely well priced and still able to have a couple drinks and get some food. This team is always changing and innovating the games to keep it fresh and the events and drinks are nice to.
Been going to Glitches since we moved out here 8 months ago. Always have a blast and find a new game to dig into with my adult kids. Arcade cabinets, consoles going all the way back to NES, pinball, Rock Band, air hockey, basketball and skee ball. Good beers on tap, affordable time out with the family and we never leave disappointed!
Games are great, very cool atmosphere.... but we were unable to eat, and we planned on that....I guess the cook didn't show up for work and there was no one else that could cook
Coolest adult hangout! Has so many games to choose from old & new, the most amazing staff, great drinks & great prices! me and my homies love glitches
I've really enjoyed going to this arcade, it has a very chill atmosphere. I took my family during one of their visit to sherman they enjoyed themselves it had games for all ages. Highly recommend for a good time.
The staff here is wonderful. The entertainment value that this location brings to the community is essential. I wish they had more financial funding so they could stay open in the future.
Best retro arcade I have ever been to, you will have a blast playing pinball or even retro game consoles along with retro arcade games like PacMan and Tetris and lots more, the fighting games are my favorite as well!!! They even have a bar where you can enjoy very well made drinks from their menu!!!
Thank you for a blast from the past, nostalgic experience!!! My kids enjoyed y'all's non-alcoholic Princess Peach cocktail, and cheese sticks!! We will be back regularly!!
Love this place! The Fighting game tournaments are freaking amazing. The drinks are great too. My friends and I did the place a lot!
Super cool place, been there a couple of times and will definitely be coming back again!
The staff and the atmosphere is amazing...my family had a blast the last time we went in October...Drink for me sis??#glitchesarcade
Awesome atmosphere. Takes me back to my childhood. Nice staff, good drinks and games are in great shape. You have to check this place out!
I go to this arcade 3-4 times a week and always have an AMAZING time. It's Sherman?s hidden gem? highly recommend checking it out! The staff is AMAZING, WONDERFUL and KIND
Great place to have fun with friends at a great price. The owner and workers are all wonderful and they always have special events going on. Highly recommend!
Stacy is the best! Always so sweet and cheerful! Turns a bad day into a good one!!??
Had a great time here can't wait to go back. Awesome drinks and awesome games !!!!!
Great spot! Food and drinks are good and the selection of games is really great!
Best arcade in town. Good drinks and lots of competitions of you like arcade or console games.
Super awesome arcade! Lots and lots of games, and a bar! Great for adults and kids!
Pretty cool spot! Lots of games, brings back a lot of childhood memories from playing at Pocketchange in Midway Mall.
This place is PHENOMENAL!!! The staff is friendly, the food is great, and the games are in great repair. Evidently there is a near by big chain restaurant (that I will neither name or patronize) that prevents pizza being served here, but the flatbreads that they serve far surpass any pizza you might be able to purchase nearby.
Kids and hubby loved it, they all had a blast. He loved getting to play the old school cabinet games and having face to face time with the owner was very welcoming. My 10yo daughter got to show off her mortal combat skills and loved the dance dance machine! My 6yo loved the skeeball and was so excited when she made it into the 30000 hole! Will definitely be back often!
Went last week with some friends and we had a great time. We were impressed with how many games, not to mention the variety of games that were available. Very convivial atmosphere; everyone was smiling and sharing the games. Alcohol is available for purchase. Great price for hours of fun. This is a great addition to Sherman and I hope that they'll stay around.
Very cool, aesthetically pleasing place. It's very reminiscent of a classic arcade with a few modern additions. A groups of friends came with me for our first visit and had a blast playing our nostalgic favorite games and some old ones we've never played before. On top of that the bar service was phenomenal, from the drinks to the bartender and owner. Thank you guys for a great time!
Great time playing games from NES up through 2000s arcades. Will be going back again.
Great place. Cool atmosphere. Clean and organized!
So happy to have a place like this in Sherman to hang out with my friends. The owner Ryan and his staff are all very nice people who treated me well. I also love the selection of games he has weither it's on the Xbox or on the arcade machines. The food and pricing are great as well. I recommend this arcade to anyone who enjoys gaming and like to get out!
Best bar experience and staff you can ask for.... The food was well above any weather it's normal pizza ?? or southwestern egg rolls. Their signature drinks are super ingenious following the reto arcade feeling... yes you to can feel as if your in Flynn's arcade..... Return to retro ...Return to classics but in an upgrade way... Glitch's Arcade Sherman tx
Cool place, tons of retro games that I played in arcades when I was a kid, some I haven't seen since I was a kid, and a classic DDR machine! It's a good deal, everything's on free play, they have a decent beer selection to pick from - I haven't tried the food yet. I kind of overlooked this place because of where it's located but my brother-in-law put me on it.
Awesome games! Awesome beers - love that they have craft like 903 Brewers along with some good old Lonestar to go along with Outlaw Light Lager! Food is on point, too!!!
Took a couple of friends here after dinner last night, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the Glitch Vibes. Like walked into a time warp back to the fun 80's flavored game room. Extremely friendly staff and owner and I'll always support my fellow veteran's small businesses. Keep up the good work!
The retro arcade games were fun; however, the atmosphere was lacking. After a certain time it felt like sketchy people were coming in and one of the female bartenders were rude and acted like she really didn't want to be there. They gave the vibe of: you have to know someone there in order to be treated well or get a decent drink. Then it seemed like underaged girls had been drinking, which led to an altercation outside and the cops getting called. Not sure if I'd go again after my first experience going.
Went in with my son today for the first time, and we really enjoyed it. The game library is very obviously continuing to grow, and as a child of the '80s and '90s, it was super nostalgic. Also: the Yoshi's Kiss cocktail is absolutely delicious. Looking forward to returning and trying the flatbreads.
This place is great. They have games arcade and video game museums don't have. They have the great games you need to really respect the place, and the little games you need , to do the same. The staff is overly kind. To me, this is the safest, greatest hangout in Sherman Tx, and doesn't cost much to get in. My favorite games have becone pinball, and even at pinball, I am well accomodated at Glitch's. Love this place.
Hidden gem in Sherman. This place is awesome all the old arcade games. Food and drink are fantastic. Even better the owner is the one waiting on you, you can tell he loves what he does and is super friendly. Thanks and we will return!
Sherman, Texas was in dire need to have a hangout/bar like this for a long time, that in entirely deserves a star. The food is well made and the whole staff is likable. However I can't give it a perfect review as this is being written (3-20-23) as some of the games do need work and not enough selections on the drinks, but from what I understand that is unavoidable due to some regulations and rights to sale. But the atmosphere and the selection of games are very unique and I could see a future for this Bar.
Stacy is the most amazing bartender ever I love her she's by far my favorite bartender I've ever had and Ryan is the best owner. I would 100% recommend to everyone
Super cool place for a date night or just finding something to do inexpensively for the family. If you follow on social media, there are opportunities to win some sweet prizes! Definitely a cool place to feel like your old silly self again and the bar has some epic additions to make it just right. Definitely a gem in Sherman.
Very cool new place to go at almost any age. My 11 year old daughter like It and I love it. We had to l we leave a 9pm because of liquor laws. That was okay and the employee told me that prior to us paying so it was not a surprise.
A few games aren't currently functioning, but in that all games are set to free play, it doesn't matter. This place brought back all the nostalgia and I loved bringing my kids to experience some of my favorite memories growing up. I will definitely be coming back when I have more time to attempt going for the high scores.
The owner doesn't provide proper workmanship employment and considering the threat I've received from past help, I don't see this place ever getting far. Do not recommend wasting money here, the environment is very drama filled with drunks and stoners. I've been notified of getting my PlayStation 5 and laptop and will be there at 4 today. My lawyer has been notified of this, and is on standby.
We decided to check out Glitch's on a Saturday afternoon. Really wasn't busy and I was surprised at how big the place was. There's pinball, arcade machines, shooting games, driving games, consoles & tvs (and supposedly a variety of games for each console as well), a bar and kitchen too. Drinks were cold and faces were friendly. We didn't indulge in the pizza but the kitchen seemed clean. Bathrooms were clean as well. I really hope this place does well as it would be great to have an entry fee/freeplay arcad
Glitch?s is an amazing add on to Sherman. Been looking for a place to go other than Town Center and Schulman?s. Glitch?s offers amazing service, drinks, and of course games! My favorite game there, by far, is the dancing game! Not to mention, the owner, Dr. Glitch, clearly cares about each and every one of his customers that come through the door. Will definitely be back again!
This place is awesome! Good atmosphere and the owner and all the employees are great to talk to! If you are thinking of checking this place out - do it! They are always fixing some of the games they have so if something doesn't work currently it will soon. They are constantly improving.
This place is so kick back and very cool . The arcade is full of hours of fun. You get charged to come in, 1 charge and you can play games all night. There are old arcade games, pin ball, Sega, game cube, PlayStation, and much more. They do have food and drinks.
As a brand new place it was pretty cool....but i expected more games to be working properly. They had about 40-45 games and only about 30-35 were working. I understand that as a new place you have a few "bugs" to work out which is totally understandable...i just hope that in the near future that they get all of their games working and maybe some newer ones in rotation...i will definitely be going back!!!
Great time, as always. The bartender, workers and Owner all are equally wonderful. I appreciate them being a great arcade for Sherman. We definitely needed something like that in this town. ???????
Very friendly place went there with my dad and 2 nephews and they had a blast playing skeeball and pinball, wish they had a touhou and guilty gear cabinet but those are probably hard to come by in the states. overall great experience
Nice fun place. Food was good.
So many classic arcade games to choose from. There's different consoles games as well! Games for everyone of all ages! Definitely recommend!
Such an awesome arcade! I love coming here. Large variety of different games plus they add new ones from time to time. Wanna play some retro games up to newer games? This is the place!
I've had the good fortune, as an acquaintance of the owner, to see this arcade at various points during its buildout and now after its opening. Ryan has poured his heart into Glitch?s Arcade, taking great pains across many long months to ensure an awesome customer experience. His selection of vintage arcade cabinets was carefully curated to appeal to a broad range of players?this one included. He also stocks a great selection of vintage consoles (Atari, NES, SNES, SEGA, N64, etc.) with a full complement of
Such a cool concept. The bartender was friendly, my boyfriend and I had a great time. We look forward to coming back and watching this place grow.
GREAT DATE NIGHT FOR THE KIDS. NEED TO FIX THE LIGHTING OUTSIDE NEXT TO A BAD HOTEL. INSIDE NEEDS A LIL TOUCH UP FOOD IS BASIC NOTHING SPECTACULAR. DOES SERVE BEER AND ALCOHOL OTHER THAN THAT GREAT SPOT TO GET AWAY FROM THE KIDS AT NIGHT AND ENJOY SOME OLD GAMES YOU PLAYED WHEN YOU WAS A KID.
This place is awesome. Brought both of our daughters here who are obsessed with David and Busters and they absolutely love this place.
I haven't had this much fun since 1994.
Awesome spot. Don't miss it!
Great place to go hang out and play old school arcade games... everything is set to free play so the price is perfect compared to the amount quarters you would need to play everything
very good place to spend time with friends, you don't have to be an expert gamer, you can play unlimited with just one payment, old fashioned hames & new games they have a bar and some snacks like pizza, egg rolls, and others.
Always gonna be fun going here they've got any game that you could want and a friendly environment and staff
Great arcade! Brings back memories of long time back. Pinball machines and lots of arcade games to play.
Fun older games, some had broken buttons which sucked, but a couple beers later you're back to the same one trying again. It got pretty full up busy on Sunday afternoon.
Plenty of games to play. The place was clean and there was lots of games to play.
Great games, great people
Great place to play games and hang with friends! Very reasonably priced only 25$ for a monthly membership and the games are free to play!
Great place to play games. Lots of different games to choose from and some nostalgic games from my millennial childhood. Love this place.
Always amazing to visit. The food is yummy the adult beverages are yummy. The games are always fun.
sure there have been a few bumps but it's to be expected when dealing with some of these old machines. the place is really cool, the food is good and there's plenty of games to try.
Great atmosphere, love this place.
Drinks and Games! Friendly Owner and staff.
Heard this place was fun, but yall need to update your online times. Never got to go because online says it opens at 12pm Fridays, but get there and it's closed with a sign saying opens at 3pm.
Came here with my brother Saturday. I'm glad he took me it was fun seeing all the retro games. Guitar hero was probably my favorite game.
Great location, friendly owner/staff & PHENOMENAL selection of arcades/pinball.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, rhythm games in arcades are a vibrant hit in 2025! Titles like Dance Dance Revolution and Beatmania deliver high-energy fun, blending music, movement, and precision. Modern machines boast vivid displays, booming sound systems, and diverse song libraries, from J-pop to EDM. They challenge reflexes and rhythm, with competitive leaderboards and tournaments fostering a lively community. Arcade dance floors are regularly packed, proving rhythm games’ immersive, physical thrill keeps them a standout in today’s gaming scene.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
