Customer Reviews

We stopped at this gift shop in late June. The shop is fairly large and nicely arranged with more upscale and unusual gifts than the trinkets and souvenirs you'd expect to find at some other gift shops in this area. Along with that, we noticed that the prices here tend to be a bit higher than at other shops selling some of the same items. They have a dedicated area for children's educational and play toys, plus a well stocked area in the back featuring a wide variety of candy, including some old classic can

Friendly staff but definitely feels more like a tourist trap. They carry a lot of merchandise but unfortunately very little items are made locally. Also, prices are on the high end. It's nice to browse and window shop but it really didn't carry anything I was looking for.

Good selection of both Cape Cod themed souvenirs and general interesting gifts. Prices were decent and the staff was friendly.

Great gift shop that has something for everyone. Great stop when you're in the area. Restaurant and cute mini golf course as well.

Best "one stop shopping" for all souvenirs Cape Cod!

Inexpensive mini golf, small arcade, and trinket gift shop... fun for kids

I can only review the pizza and it was horrible. The chicken tasted very bad. We had cheese with added grilled chicken. It was like eating boiled rubber. It looked appetizing but the taste did not match. I forgot to take pictures.

Cute gift shop. Lots of variety with a penny-candy section. Fresh salt-water taffy. T-shirts beach wear a little pricey. Easy to get to if you're on Rt.6 looking for vacation goodys.

A great place to shop for Cape Cod gifts and souvenirs. A wide variety to select from in a range of prices from inexpensive to nicer quality items that are a bit more but still affordable. Impossible to begin to list all they offer. Nicely displayed in a comfortable shopping atmosphere that doesn't feel crowded. Helpful employees too. Before or after you complete your gift shopping at the Gift Barn, be sure to enjoy the entire complex which includes a mini golf course and Red Barn Pizza.

The gift barn is a must destination when visiting the outer cape. A wonderful selection of gifts, clothes, toys, and candies that will satisfy everyone's taste. Always clean and friendly. The mini golf and game room are family favorites. My family has been enjoying the gift barn for decades and Herb and his family have done a wonderful job making your experience enjoyable. Stop in, you will not be disappointed.

I have been coming to this place for over 25 years with my family and not only would I recommend it to anyone and everyone, I will be coming here for the rest of my life. The owners are wonderful, very kind, and truly care about their customers and their business. The grounds are well taken care of and the indoor areas are always clean. The gift shop is great and there is always something that catches our eye. I play in the Arcade every time I go because I enjoy the games and I can get prizes for my classro

While waiting to pick up a pizza order, I went shopping in the adjacent Gift Barn. It is a very nice moderately priced gift shop with good quality items. I bought some gifts to take home, but decided not to buy a Cape Cod pullover sweater that was really pretty and priced just under $30. I regretted not buying it and after returning home to NY state, I got on the website to see if it was available online. It wasn't, but there was a chat option that I used to describe what I wished I had bought. Shortly a

Wonderful shop! I was looking for a sweatshirt and found one that was so nice at a good price. Very friendly people and a really cool arcade room. We will go back for the mini golf.

They carried all the souvenirs of Cape Cod that I wanted and more! I walked out with two large bags full of chocolate-covered cranberries and saltwater taffy for my family and friends back home. Friendly service, fair prices, and huge selection of gifts from the Cape. A great one-stop shopping place for all your souvenir needs!

Great variety of souvenirs. They have things i haven't been able to find in any other store on the Cape. Staff greets you when you walk in, and can answer any questions you have, not only about the store, but the area in general. The arcade attached is nice, with a good variety of games.

Nice stop along a road trip through Cape Cod, it was a very nice store with a huge variety. Even found out later that their prices as well we're lower than other shops I had stopped into. The staff were very friendly and found quite a few gifts to take back home with me.

I love the Gift Barn! It is a great place for all the family. My Grandkids love the great selection of candy. The mini golf is also a big hit with them. I always pick up some of their delicious Beach Plum Jam and Salt Water Taffy. I referred family visiting from out of the area to stop in the Gift Barn on their way to Provincetown and they were very happy they did. They bought souvenirs and gifts for friends an family back home. I highly recommend going.

If you have kids, this is the place to go, especially of it rains. Great miniature golf and video games with prizes. They have it down to a science too. Everything is digital when it comes to cashing in your points. They put it up on a big screen so you can see what toy have chosen and your point balance. They even have one of those crane games where you keep trying until toy win! And there is an actual gift store with touristy stuff. We go every year.

Mini golf actually closes at 8:00. The woman at the desk is a complete witch and hates watching children have fun. Great courses, horrific staff. For a place that's only open during the summer, you'd think they'd want to capitalize on business.

The gift items here were cheaper than anywhere else I stopped on the cape. Nice stop for a bargain souvenir item. Friendly staff and cute shop.

i have been coming here for over 30 years and i still look forward to the day we go to eastham for first encounter beach and the gift barn every year when we vacation on the cape. where else can you get a decent slice of pizza, classic mini golf, awesome ice cream, and a wonderful shop with all sorts of trinkets and delicious candy? it's paradise for kids and has aged beautifully. now if only i could find the card good for a free round of mini golf that i was awarded after getting a hole in one on the 18th

This place doesn't have placemats. And the owner isn't very polite. I think the gift shop by the rotary is better.

Great place for a quiet afternoon of mini golf and an affordable lunch. The gift store had a great selection of candy and unique tourist souvenirs.

A great place to stop and have a look around for gifts when you're on the Cape Cod. A little less selection this year but I think that's because of the coronavirus. Hopefully the next year the coronavirus will be gone and it will be back to five stars.

Always find great gifts for family... we had extra time and enjoyed the puttputt golf course & arcade. Owners are lovely people!

Great place to stop for souvenirs. Great selection of Salt water tafee. Washrooms were super clean. Prices were reasonable with some great Cape Cod stuff.

So much to do gifts, mini golf, arcade and food everything in one spot. Had a lot of fun a good lunch and some great souvenirs

Excellent minigolf course and the best store shirts! Champion brand!

Great gift shop! Affordable and you'll definitely find some cute stuff!

Great selection & variety of gifts, clothing, toys, chocolates & assorted candy, books, novelties, candles, kitchen items, etc.

All the tchotchkes you need to remember your vacation at roadside attraction prices. Honestly, it's just fun to look around and maybe buy some candy for the trip home.

Always has unique items and is fun to look around, the kids love the game room and mini golf and good food is right next door so there is no rushing around.

Big selection of merchandise but for us the clearance section was our favorite. Employees were all friendly and helpful.

This gift shop had alot of different items. We were glad we took the time and stopped in .

Awesome prices for the gifts. Candy was pretty pricey but nostalgic! ??

Been going here 20 years since the kids were little. Minigolf is awesome. Best pizza in the area.

A good place for arcade games and a pound of fudge! They also havd mini golf

Staff extremely friendly and they had a nice variety of merchandise. Things that are not available and different than all the other stores

A typical gift store on the Cape, we didn't eat at the restaurant or play mini golf but it seems like it would be a good place for a young family.

Great prices, wide variety of gifts, and friendly staff!

Great stuff! Fun gifts and souvenirs! Hasn't changed much over the years.

Always a stop when I am on the Cape. They have different things that make great gifts.

They had really nice soap and the bracelets were really pretty too.

The shop has a bit of everything souvenir wise. Love to stop here every year.

They had a lot of wonderful things in the people are very friendly there

I really liked the store but I bought some jewelry and two of the three pieces of jewelry I bought broke within a day of purchasing them.

Very clean and organize. Has lots of fun items, reasonably priced.

Decently priced merch. A few items we bought were damaged though so check everything well.

It was pretty good by I've come to expect a little more from a barn bearing gifts. ??

Great customer service. Well run establishment. Safe Covid-19 protocols in place.

One of the few places families can still have some fun on the Cape in 2020

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
