Easily the worst arcade I've been to. Regardless of if you're a family, a couple, or just on your own, PLEASE go to a different arcade in Sioux Falls. Any of them. Half the games just don't work at all. Even some of the games that do work don't give you your tickets. There was trash everywhere: on the games, on the floor, on the coin dispensers. The worker could not have cared less, which honestly I don't blame her. Genuinely, laughably bad.
On the day of 6/12/25 at this place not a good experience. We come here all the time and never had a problem but today my friend inserted 50 dollars into the machine to get the 250 tokens but didn't get all the tokens. Went to tell the boy working there and he said to get that we had to use a card but the machine clearly says swipe card or insert cash. Was really rude and didn't make it right. This is not the kind of person that should be working at this kind of place.
Put a 20 in the token machine and only gave 27 coins went to front desk to ask for either money back or more tokens and guy tried to tell me it didn't take 20s and walked away and said nothing and just glared at me and didn't say anything. Terrible service and acted like I was trying to scam them.
I don't think I've ever left a negative review in my life? but my son was so excited to play the Halo game and i had to go get cash - cash wouldn't take, so then went and got coins, ate every coin i stuck in without credits for play. I now know how they afforded this machine in such a dump.
Employee working 10/4/24 was very rude. Disappeared for a long while. We finally went knocking on doors looking for him with no luck. He finally reappeared with a dirty look and not a word to say. He unhappily served us with his glare and sent us on our way. Don't recommend this place the games eat coins, the employee is absent and even if he wasn't he doesn't have the personality or social skills in his wheel house to care enough to provide customer service.
The employee that was working today is extremely rude. The machine didn't give my daughter the tickets she won and he just tells you to play another game, then he has the audacity and stole 200 of her tickets. He called my daughter names. With his looks he shouldn't be talking. He is just on his phone. My daughter wanted to get her prizes and he made her wait then said ugh and rolled his eyes. This disgusting thing of a human does not need to be working their if he is going to be that nasty to children. My
This is my favorite arcade in town. Old and newer games. Inexpensive to play and the gentleman working was helpful and friendly.
Visited on Wednesday 9/13/23 around 6:30 pm and bought $60 worth of coins. Played some games but the worker was extremely rude and was completely absent for around 20 minutes at one point when we were trying to get help with a game that the employees ONLY can start for you. When he did finally come back he was a complete a hole about the fact we put $5 worth of coins in the game because he WAS NOT there and he was supposed to. The employee should be fired, plain and simple. We will never visit again.
They lost a customer for life today. Wanted to stop in with my 6 year old daughter. Token machine ate my 5 bucks and the employee said 'there's nothing I can do' after about 10 seconds of looking for my money in the machine. I'm an adult and not some kid trying to score 5 bucks in tokens. Will never return or send any friends there.
Went in to play with the kids on a Sunday. We went up to the counter to ask for tickets and he slowly looked up and said ?They're up there? and pointed to the front of the store and looked back down. We went up and one machine was out of service and the other two kept spitting our cash back out. The 4th one didn't take bills. So I went up to the counter to ask him for help and he wasn't there. I waited for 10 minutes and he still never came. There was others waiting at the same time. After 10 minutes we lef
Tried to play a game put 2 dollars in and didn't get to play. Went to the staff to ask for my money back. Staff said they have no control over it and the owner is out of town. I asked for a phone number to get my money back and was told I'm just out my money. Worst arcade I've been to.
One of the best arcades in Sioux Falls filled with a bunch of retro arcade games and PHYSICAL tickets 100% go here each time
It was fun but there was a bigger guy at the desk and he was very rude and unwelcoming. Wouldn't help us and served us like he was annoyed when he did.
Fun and a time killer, played for 30minutes with friends and the employee was super nice even giving us an extra prize.
Machine took my money and didnt give me any coins. I went to the front desk and the lady said there was nothing she could do. So i basically got scammed ??
Machine ate coins and employees say there's nothing they can do. Don't play here.
Lots of fun. my daughter loved the arcade. Nice to have something for kids in the mall.
Fun for the family and a excellent way to kill time if your waiting on others shopping
Fun arcade in the Sioux empire mall
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
