I was in town visiting a friend. I wish I had found this crappy place sooner. Man does this place suck balls. Anyway, George is a funny guy and you can tell he cares about his establishment. There's no food here so eat before you come because everything closes when the sun goes down. Apparently ghosts and goblins come out to take your souls so be careful!!! Anyway, in all seriousness, this place is really unique and I really enjoyed myself. George, thank you and I can't wait to come back!
I thought the place was cool, plenty of games. They aren't all perfect but I get that. It was slow I guess so we basically had half the place to ourselves. The bartender/helper was friendly and helped us out. My only kind of gripe is that I'm sober so had to pay a $15 cover. But if you buy a beer or drink, those cost what...$5? So I should have just bought a beer and gave it to my friend.
In town 1 night for work, and I'm glad I was here! I didn't try the food, but the owners were great! And the atmosphere was unbeatable if you like pretty much any game from the 90s up to 2020. Also! One of the owners kinda looked Nicholas Cage, Eijah Woodsy ?? Good people all around!
This was my 2nd time here. First time was many years ago with my brother. We had a great time playing old games and chatting with others about Zelda and other classic titles. Tonight my wife and I came in for a date night outting. When we got their we talked with the bar tender and he showed us several really cool drinks with fun "game character names" it was fun to break the ice and talk about some of of favorites. We got a drink each and then asked for some help with game selection. Bartender again help
Drinks were good, very fun atmosphere with just about every game you could ever want with a clearly passionate owner
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! I repeat don't come to this establishment unless you enjoy the smell of mildew and body oder. Great concept but not executed properly. The drinks suck, must spend $10 if using a card and if you get a cocktail expect to spend $12 for pretty much soda water. The owner is rude, creepy and annoying. He will follow you out to your car if you choose to leave without buying anything within 5 minutes or less of being there. He harasses you about buying drinks as soon as you walk in, not allowed
I was only here for a day and found this on things to do . It was definitely a nice vibe and the owner is pretty cool .. Check it out if you're in town ??
I absolutely love this place. I'm privileged to have this as my walking distance neighborhood bar. Every video game imaginable and then some available for play. Just buy a beer or drink and have a blast They also an incredibly nice and knowledgeable staff to help you.
Closed despite google and facebook saying their open. Showed up for nothing. Wanted to check the place out. Little peeved at 6pm on a Friday they're not alive. Phone number didn't answer. Not accepting calls. Yeesh. Figure it out.
Sat on the couch and sank in. Could use some TLC drinks were fine. The atmosphere was awesome! Plan a party here. They got a lot to offer.
Went here for the music, Dj Pesky Penguin was laying it down, and the atmosphere was pretty dope. They have a full bar with a lot of craft drinks, plenty of gaming systems to pass the night away, and lots of good music.
It was so fun at first. The owner/co-owner of the bar (George) and bartender at the time served me and my 3 other friends one beer and we were all enjoying the game selections they have. Really cool place! Would've been a 5 star review until some weird guy came in. Acted as the bartenders friend. Bartender leaves for a full 5 minutes. Just us 4 and the random guy just watching us and didn't even buy a drink. Came back all controlling over the games. When we got tired of him we started to leave. The man foll
George was Amazing. He keeps you laughing, Knows his games, The pricing is on point, The drinks are amazing, You feel safe while having plenty of fun, And the music is Poppin. If you're a geek or not Go into geeks and glory and enjoy your night. I did ??
Love this place; George is awesome, knows his games and makes amazing drinks. Plus I made out with a hot guy here. ;)
This is an awesome place to frequent! The drinks are delicious, and the game selection is unprecedented. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an engaging, fun, and entertaining evening.
George (the owner) went on a tangent about how my friends & I weren't gonna buy anything after I asked a question about my next drink price. We had already bought three drinks (clearly not informed whatsoever) and I had asked as I was trying to prove a point to a friend in our group about another bars excessive charging for the same drink I asked about?. His female employee (girlfriend) even rolled her eyes at his behavior, gave us free chips for a ?I'm sorry? while also saying I'm sorry many times verbally
I don't like leaving negative reviews but I felt this one was necessary. My friend was set to have his birthday party there yesterday and several of us were excited because we had never been to this bar and it sounded like a lot of fun. My two friends got there and went to order drinks. I was told the owner of the bar became very disrespectful towards my friend that can't drink and was trying to pressure him into buying a drink, stating that even if got water, he was going to be charged $3.50 for it because
Went there with a group of friends and the bartender was really hostile. No designated drivers allowed I guess. Dude is off his rocker imo.
The bartender is hostile to customers who don't immediately buy drinks. Everyone is required including our designated driver had to buy or get kicked out. It took over 10 minutes to be carded before the constant pushing started. the bartender started bad mouthing us under her breath while making our drinks. One canceled their order and she harassed us as we were putting on our coats to leave. Very bad manners. Bartender was snippy and not very welcoming, effectively turning away 7+ people. The owner/co-owne
Very cool place. Video gaming for adults that are catching a buzz ?? and the bartender is great. I think he owns the place as well.... either way, the gentleman was very good. Hospitable, kind and certainly seems to know what he's doing!! ?? Thanks very much for the great drinks and outstanding service!! Certainly will be back!!!
Love this place. By far my favorite bar. So many video game selections, awesome drinks, the bartender/owner is super friendly and always awesome. Anyone from any background comes into this place and leave as friends. Super friendly atmosphere among all people. I think a lot of people try to come in to play games for free, and then leave when they're done, and get upset with the simple rule of at least buying a drink per hour. Too many people take advantage of it. Not fair of people to do when there's no cov
This play rocks!!! The karaoke is awesome, games are fun to play amd the drinks taste great!!
The owner of this place is a terrible and disturbing person. If you want customer service I don't recommend this place. My husband and I had walked in to meet a birthday party there, not even 5 minutes later he came over and demanded us to buy drinks due that being a requirement. My husband and I like to feel the vibe of places because there are some terrible places here in Spokane. So if want someone who doesn't know what personal space is and someone who is demanding then this is your place to go.
Games + Drinks W Also the guy bitchin about mildew is crazy it's fine, especially by bar standards lol
Great, chill place to drink and play games with friends. Owner is fantastic and is always awesome to talk to. Music is always on point and video game equipment is always clean and usable. Could not recommend this place enough!
Great gaming themed drinks, I've worked down the menu and they are all good. All different types of game systems sprawled nearly across the bar. Full of gaming merch and art decor as well! Owner works most nights and is a blast.
Regulars are chill and the game selection is great, absolutely fantastic drinks and the weirdest, creepiest owner. He's very pestilent and controlling. He will snatch the controllers out of your hand to demonstrate how to do certain things and talk your ear off and bug his customers to death. A lot of people I've asked about this place to have the same things to say about the owner, as well as other reviews stating his strange behavior when you leave. He followed me out to my car and took a sly picture of m
Went there for my birthday, had a lovely time. So many games on different systems to play! Drinks were creative and themed which was a added bonus. Also the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, which is great! Had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend to anyone that likes nerd things or even those who like to have a fun time.
Food is BYO, but service is outstanding! The bartender works his ass off! Great drinks and great service! Highly recommend!
Went for the first time with my girlfriend and some friends. I love the concept and the game selection is INSANE - I hadn't even held an N64 controller since I was a kid, so that was cool already. The service is kinda mixed. The fellow doing the bartending handled a belligerent well while I was there, but the other reviews talking about the "buy a drink or get out" attitude aren't fake; we didn't catch any flak for my gf ordering a Roy Rogers, btw. We were carded right away, so I think the reviews complaini
It's a bar with a lot of games and I really mean a lot. Drinks were good place smelt good and fun was had I got the battletoad drink Recommended
Very cute location with tons of videogame stations, plus a small selection of boardgames. The drink names are fun, but they're a pretty light pour, and it feels like you're paying a premium just for the theme. Personally I would have preferred a door cover and better drink value rather than free entrance and overpriced drinks. Still, a fun place to bring a few friends!
Bartender was very rude and pushy. We had a big group of friends and a couple were designated drives and he got extremely upset when they wanted water or just one soda. There was no cover charge to enter and zero signs that state there is a drink minimum. The ones of us who were drinking had to wait 10+ minutes for just a simple beer. Love the games and the idea behind this bar, but the customer service was horrible and we were made to feel like we were about to get kicked out at any moment.
Ok. Never been here before. This place is legit my fav place to be. Drinks. Free gameing in Xbox ps2/3/4/5 Sega Nintendo. Just cool place to be.
My husband and I stumbled upon this place on our visit to Spokane. Very chill atmosphere, drinks on theme and awesome. Very chill owner/bartender and he was very knowledgeable about all the games they had available to play.
This bar has an amazing atmosphere. The green accent lighting is a great touch. The staff is incredible helpful and knowledgeable of games. There's a great selection of games across several consoles and the staff have great ideas for improvement. The best part is that you can play all the games you'd like to, and you only have to buy drinks. This is an awesome model for the customer in comparison to arcade bars where you have to buy drinks in addition to paying to play games. 5/5 would drink and play games
From just going there once, I feel right at home. Both staff and the people that go there are so welcoming. It feels just like you're going over to a friends house, except this place gives you a working controller haha. Surprisingly spacious for a smaller looking building with so much packed into it. Drinks were reasonably priced. Definitely a place I'll be going to again.
Great chill place to hang out, have fun gamer themed drinks and play video games. They do Trivia every Wednesday and they are fun to participate in.
Hands down, my favorite bar. When they promote events it may get quite busy. However, most of the time in my experience, it is a chil place where you get to play games of all kinds with your people.
The bartender is hostile to customers who don't immediately buy drinks. Everyone is required including our designated driver had to buy or get kicked out. It took over 10 minutes to be carded before the constant pushing started. The game selection is very meager at best where anyone who plays either video or board games regularly would have everything they have. The cramped space and loud music that isn't even from games or anything in the radio didn't help the atmosphere. Overall a very poor place to go i
George is my GUY. Great custom drinks. The small business owner is amazing, the games are free, this is my spot 100%
I visited this place for the first time with my fiancee and we had a great time! Chill atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good drinks - My fiancee loved her princess peach drink. We beat dungeons and dragons and turtles arcade on a cool emulation box they had. They had setups for most every local console multiplayer experience you'd want. I wish I had found out about this place sooner!
Cool place but the bartender is super rude and hostile. He never carded us but then came to our table an hour later (during a trivia game) and accused us of not showing our IDs, as well as accused us of not paying when we clearly had. He didn't care that our designated driver didn't want to order, and he came and swore at our DD for not buying a drink. Made me a little uncomfortable, too. Really bummed because it seems like it could be a fun place.
I'm not much of a gamer, but this has become my favorite place! I've yet to be served by anyone who isn't super friendly and helpful. Not sure how much this has to do with management, but their patrons also seem to match the vibe and be super welcoming. Good vibes and good drinks! All that's missing is air hokey.
Best gaming bar in Spokane hands down. When you walk in your greeted with nostalgia games. Anything from classic arcade games to SNES nes ps to modern systems. Art and the drinks were very creative with a game/ Mario theme. Good bartending service good prices on drinks would definitely recommend to anybody. This place has definitely invested into creating a fun environment.
This place is pretty cool. Drinks were strong and tasty (a little too sweet for their signature drinks, but that's my personal taste). Plus they have so many free games as long as you buy a drink(DDR was a blast!!). I had a couple of issues though. First, most of the couches felt like they had most of the springs missing. This isn't too big of deal, but it wasn't the most comfortable experience. My second issue is larger. They had a persistent public bathroom smell through the entire bar. It's the kind of
Hands down my favorite bar and the best one I've ever been to. The atmosphere is so laid back you almost feel like you're at home, and the drinks George makes are perfect every time. There are nice comfy chairs/couches at every tv and places to put your drink wherever you sit. TONS of choices of games from the newest, back to all of the good retro ones. The only thing I don't like is that it's not up north, closer to me!
Had an amazing time last night, first time going here, atmosphere was outstanding and the drinks even better. My buddy and me played so many games and tried so many drink, none of which disappointed. For sure my go to bar!
Bartender was snippy and not very welcoming, effectively turning away 9+ people because one person didn't immediately know what they wanted to drink. A lesson in customer service, it's okay to say ?I'll check back with you in a bit? instead of treating a customer like a child. If you want to stay in business long term you gotta know when to make concessions with customers. I get your rule is you gotta buy a drink but it's also your job to provide a level of service that's welcoming. Maybe you were having a
Great place to grab a drink and play some games. They have a ton of cool, themed drinks that are actually very tasty!
Just had the best time at this gaming bar and the owner was so fun and friendly! Before me and my friends left the owner gave us free shots and made us feel right at home. If you get a chance definitely GO! Also very beginner gamer friendly!
The place was cool when I entered. This was my first time ever coming here. My fianc? has been there once before. I was deciding what I wanted to drink and setting up a game on the wii, while my fianc? grabbed us some water. We had been in the bar for 5 minutes before the Bar tender starts giving my fianc?(who has a disability ) a rant about needing him to buy a drink every so often and how he needs to make a profit(understandable since my fianc? mainly got water last night). Upon asking for some clarificat
Hands down the Best Gaming bar I have been to! The staff was very attentive, the gaming was amazing, and the patrons were fun as well. With 3 gaming rooms, tons of games, comfortable seating, and great drinks (I love the Stamina Shot), it was perfect!
At first it seemed like a cool place. Went in for an event that was advertised as free with a few friends. All of us but one person ordered a drink. Guy behind the bar decided to be rude and argue that he "didn't care he was our designated driver". And that he had to order something or leave. It also took like 20 minutes before someone carded us.
From it's whimsical drink names, consoles plugged into every TV, and border of video game characters circling the main area, Geeks and Glory has anything a gamer could ever want. George, the owner, has put so much time and energy into ensuring that Geeks and Glory feels like more than just a bar; it feels like home and a place where people can come to belong. You can feel the amount of love and care that he has tirelessly poured into it ever since the day that he opened the doors to the general public.
While the gaming experience is interesting, the bartender was very passive-aggressive. We didn't feel comfortable the whole time we were there. Every question was answered with a tone of 'well obviously.' The specialty drinks were all tasty, video-game-themed drinks, but all the furniture was cheap and uncomfortable. If you want to recreate the experience of GeeksNGlory, buy a bottle of Schnapps and play a Raspberry Pi emulator on your futon at home while your roommate sulks in the corner. There are bett
Love this bar, my favorite watering hole in all of Washington. Owner is a great guy, works hard to make sure everyone enjoys their stay. Drinks are reasonable and there is a PLETHORA of killer games at your fingertips for free.
We went there for the first time tonight and are very excited about this place. From the outside this place seemed tiny, but they utilized their space very creatively. They have a variety of options from old school NES games to PS4/switch games. Bartender was also very friendly and helpful.
A fun creative bar, with a light atmosphere. Fun and zany drinks with some of the old classic that you'd find at a regular bar. Prices were fair and service was prompt from the bartender. Decent live DJ (Think it's only Saturday night) but in conclusion I will be visiting this location again in the near future.
Like gaming? Like drinking? Boom, perfect. Stopped by for first time to surprise the Bf - 39,000(?) games available to play across most platforms. Anybody can find something to play. Will be back! Bf compiling list of games to play, was a bit overwhelmed lol during first trip and couldn't think of some from the younger days
The nastalgia this place brings is incredible. They offer everything from every gamers childhood to the present. This is the place to go if you are truly a gamer. Not only do they offer an epic assortment of games but the bartender here present you with a comfortability that you rarely fond these days. And makes the best drinks i've had in a long time. I wish i knew about this place sooner. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Great gamer bar, been here multiple times over the years and always had a blast!
Went in with a small group, and the bartender started bad mouthing us under his breath while making mine and my brothers drink. Canceled our orders and he harrassed us as we were putting on our coats to leave. Very poorly mannered.
I love this concept. The different game consoles and the staff is very knowledgeable about each one. It's a great chance to get a drink and hang out with you adult friends who game. They don't serve food themselves but are ok with you ordering pizza or uber eats to dropping something off if you don't feel up to the Taco Time next door.
Small space, decent amount of gaming stations, but they feel uninviting with no instructions. Limited seating, but prices are good. Seems like it would be a great place for groups, but a little awkward if your by yourself as it's more of a social hang out place with a bar.
One of the best bars in the Spokane area. Lots of video games, AMAZING drinks, and dedicated owner that really cares. All of their drinks are themed on video games and me and my freinds had 10+. All were amazing.
This place is chill af! Seems like a few regulars get together to hang and that made it seem inviting. Drinks are good, game selection is amazing, and overall a good time for a date night. Wish I took photos but I was a bit lit.
This place is pure awesome sauce!!!!! They have almost every game you could ever want to play. The games alone make this place a must visit. On top of all the games they do many different events that are unique and fun such as tournaments, workshops, trivia, and DJ nights. Always something fun going g on here....best new bar hands down!!!
This has and always will be my favorite bar. ?? Very at home comfort and chill type of vibe and definitely recommend checking it out.
Really fun bar. Game systems and board games are free to use. The guys(employees) were friendly and knowledgeable. They said they have tournaments and live DJ events there also. Can't wait to visit again!
Very meh. Was a $5 cover charge because they had a DJ, which just made it harder to play any games. Place smelled like, well I guess exactly what you'd expect so that's not there fault. Cool aesthetics, helpful bartenders--I'd just wait for a night you're not charged to check it out, stayed maybe an hour.
I only have 1 question which would have to be " how can you be considered a bar and serve Hard Alcohol without serving food!!??? I'm pretty sure that's completely 100% illegal! Lol but what do I know
Cute little geek bar. Ill be back.
This is now my favorite bar. It's so much fun here. The employees are really nice to chat with and the owners are great people to get to know. I highly recommend going to this bar for a fun geeky night out.
This place has been absolutely fantastic, so greatly to have a place to hangout with friends! The owner and staff have always been super friendly and welcoming!
I had the best time here! The atmosphere is amazing, the faces are friendly, and the drinks are bomb! Highly recommended "crash bash"!!! Absolutely will be back more often!
Ive never been to any bar but this one and might i say it is the only bar i wanna stay going to. Its super clean, the chairs arent bad, and the staff are extremely nice and down for conversation. I love this place so much?? Also, the drinks are very affordable and gets you lit for not much. So hell yea!
Awesome place! And a great bartender! Unique drinks and SEVERAL game systems to play on, with almost every game you can think of. I will definitely be coming to this place regularly!
The best bar around and thats saying alot coming from someone who doesn't really like bars lol. Great atmosphere very friendly bartender, amazing drinks with amazing prices and best of all video games of all varieties from n64 to xbox one.
Very nice atmosphere. A lot going on, but that is always gonna happen at any bar. If you're looking for a calmer location just to hang out, or play video games with friends or strangers, this is the place to go!
This place is awesome. The staff are friendly and approachable and the atmosphere is akin to hanging out with your buddies in a living room dedicated exclusively to gaming. I can't wait to see how this place continues to grow and improve!
Wonderful place. Friendly bartender that's always great to talk to, good drinks, a wonderful atmosphere and a huge selection of games. Easily my favorite place to go.
Great staff, Great service, Friendly atmosphere, 15 TVs with pretty much any gaming console and any game that you would want to play I strongly recommend going here. reasonably priced drinks can't go wrong. Can't wait till more locations open up.
Awesome idea and execution. George really puts out a friendly atmosphere for everyone who loves or is interested in gaming. My personal favorite is the multigame arcade console. I think holding more events and advertising more will allow this place to flourish!
Cool game bar with a large assortment of video games and board games. They serve alcohol and non alcoholic drinks. I was also informed that they do theme nights, as well as live entertainment Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays, check out their Facebook page for more information.
Was here for 3 hours and had a great time! Free games from anyone's childhood! George is great and always looking to help and make you feel welcome!
Places like this should be supported and propped up by the community regardless if they go there. This place gives the most normal of normal and the most weird of the weird to simply have a place to go to have fun and its all cool. We need more people to just make these places succeed.
Everyone was super friendly and they have a good variety of games. Drink prices are decent too. If they started serving snacks like pretzels and nachos that would be awesome.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
