"Today, I had the best pizza I've ever had from this establishment. Whoever was in the kitchen knows exactly how to make a classic Gatti?s pizza! They might need to train the whole staff because this pizza was so good it took me back 35 years?to when Mr. Gatti?s was serving the best pizza in town. Thanks for the great experience!"

this review is late. i visited dec 21, 2024. i am very allergic to eggs and i looked at the allergen menu and thought the pizza crust would be ok to eat. i double checked with the chefs and they were honest (which I appreciate a lot) that they could not say for sure if the pizza did not have eggs. they then made a custom crustless pizza just for me-- they went above and beyond. and although i do wonder if they had a good laugh about making a crustless pizza, i appreciate a lot that they went out of their wa

We attend this place every year to celebrate our students accomplishments and reward them for their hard work. From Pre-K to high school, it's a wonderful place to unwind and celebrate! You can also host private parties, reserve seating for gatherings, and plan business meetings here. Everyone needs a place to be a kid and this is a great option. The front area and sitting area hosts large tvs that play different kids shows for entertainment as well. So all bases are covered to give adults a breather. Why

We take our kids here almost every weekend and this place never disappoints! My kids always have a blast and pizza is always on point. We go here even without the kids ?? My family loves this place and so do I.

Noe was a very welcoming when we arrived. We came near closing time and he accomidated us with ease and allowed us to still have pizzas made and didn't make us feel rushed in any way. Thank you Noe got a great visit! We will definitely come back again!!!!

Today was our first visit in some time. Just wanted to have dinner with the family and watch them enjoy some game time. We arrived at 7:20PM, no one was at the entrance to take our payment. We waited there 10 minutes til someone acknowledged us. We then went to look for seating, but there were no clear tables; they were full of plates and trash, so we had to seek out an employee to clear space. After obtaining seating, we went to go get food, however, there was barely ANY pizza or food at the buffet tables,

Busy busy, they try to keep up with everyone but do occasionally run out of pizza for the buffet from time to time. Kids have fun and plenty of games. Lost my wallet here once and never seen again, cards were used but blocked. Decent place, decent price.

Regular "kid" food. But lots of fun to spend a day with my 3 Grands! I even spent a $30 play card! Giant Galaga and Pac-Man! Service was great and buffet items changed regularly. Salad bar was very good

went recently; food was good- but the workers clearly don't care to be professional around children. cussing, throwing chairs they have to rearrange, not cleaning the tables, and the theatre room high chairs are filthy and stayed filthy the entire time. poor babies. would not go back.

None of the team members were attentive and the guy who was supposed to be cleaning and making room for more guests was just talking and people had to ask for them to clear a spot. The pizza was hardly out and they were no attendants in the game room. Horrible place to take a family

Lunch experience was very nice! Not to busy and great value since kids eat FREE! Plenty of parking space and easy to access location. Not the biggest selection of food however the salad bar was awesome and fresh! Plenty of space inside and a large area of games for the kids!

Grew up eating Mr. Gattis pizza (about 50 years ago) and have missed it ever since. Drove over 300 miles to go visit family in the hill country and had to see if they still had a Gattis nearby. Found this GattisTown in South Austin and oh my stars!!!! What a WONDERFUL experience to take my parents out for a real Mr. Gattis sampler pizza!!!! Made our mouths so happy we were dancing with delight!!! Huge thank yous to the great staff who bent over backwards to make our lunch special and super tasty!!!! Nothi

Love it here!!! Very first time I'm very happy... There were no attitudes very clean and happy environment Will most definitely take my family here again.. thank you to all the workers that made my experience here enjoyable ????????

Had the worst experience. We went to celebrate my nieces birthday and we got there at 7:14pm. The pizza was old, cold, and the cook was cleaning and touching the pizza without no gloves on. The cook was scratching his head and beard. Nasty!!!! We went to play games after and the games were messed up that took $10 and we couldn't even get a refund. The girl looked mad because we wanted to play the games the guy as well. Worst place ever. After we left me, my husband and nephew were outside talking and some o

We went Saturday and when we paid went straight to find a table which we got quickly (around 1230pm) Went to get food and only 3 pans of pizza were out for buffet. People standing in line for pepperoni! Lol never been to a buffet and they didn't have anything available. ?? we got what we could and sat down. Tables were super clean and bussers were great at hospitality. Only one game was out of order that we played so that's a win!. We came back to buffet and lots more was available. The salads here are alwa

When we got to Gattitown around 1 pm the buffet did not have any pizza. All the customers were waiting. Staff looked to me if they didn't care. After 20 minutes, pizza started to come out. Of course, it ran out ever quickly. The sitting room was very dirty, trash on the floor, spilled drinks plates on the tables. This is the funny part STAFF ON THIER PHONES ??

I love taking my boys here, the pizza is always great & we have fun as a family. I dont like that the prices are so expensive(requires so many points) for the quality of the prize. And the games got more expensive to play?.. But the buffet pizza makes up for it ??

The buffet was very good, especially for the price. They kept a variety of pizzas and other options well stocked. The salad bar was good, but the lettuce seemed a bit on the bitter side this time. The dining room was separated and therefore a little quieter, so you can eat without too much disturbance. The games worked well, and while the selection isn't huge, it was enough to enjoy our time.

Fresh, delish food. Customer service was top notch! Buffet was kept clean. Definitely going back soon!

Today for Father?s Day had a great dinner with the family ?scarlet? gave excellent service thank you so much for your thoughtfulness kindness we are grateful for making today worth it to have dinner here .

I really enjoyed myself. The food was great and plentiful even for a Saturday! I appreciate the quick bussers! Kudos to the whole team! IG: GodSentRed

We took our grandson to Gattitown to try something new. We normally go to Chuck E Cheese. It is a weekly outing on our school pick-up day. We bought the buffet and he really enjoyed the games. However, the food was not good. The pizza was eatable but not good. My grandson loves Mac & Cheese but wouldn't eat theirs. The attendants were kind and helpful. This week, we went back, but he only wanted to play, not eat there. This is allowed at Chuck E. Cheese. The young man at the door said sure, but then we wer

Very good service and a lot of fun things to do here good pizza and salad for kids to have a great time birthday party's are encouraged here

It's just awsome to have the nostalgia from my child hood and everything is still good food fun games and cool to be able to bring my kid like my dad did!

Great time for my sons birthday. Food was fresh and as good as it could be. Great experience!

Not at all staffed for large crowds. Ran out of plates & cups of all things! Napkin dispensers consistently empty also. Almost all the tables were dirty and took forever to be wiped clear. I can't say cleaned because they were still sticky as were the floors. Maybe if they served alcohol people wouldn't remember their bad experience. Ran out of everything and pizzas that were there was cold...

The food was pretty horrific. Even the fresh pizzas. (But I'm not upset) I definitely prefer Cicis, I just FORCED my boyfriend to take me here bc I was famished. Oh but you get to ride bumper cars and get prizes, all for more $$$. It was $21 to get in for two buffets and two drinks and they pull the well known food service trick: use blue plates, people will eat less. You can't hate them for needing to make money though. Check out the awesome wall art, someone actually painted all this. I'm sure kids enjoy

There wasn't any pizza upon arrival, though it didn't take long (15 Minutes) for them to have it all out at the same time. Hot and plenty

The kids had a good time. Pretty busy on the weekend, for a calmer experience I recommend going during the work week. Seating can feel a bit cramped in certain rooms. Pizza was good, games were fun.

It's just as I remember it from when I was his age, with selections of cartoons/movies playing in each of the dining rooms and tons of different games. We just wanted a place to eat and have a little fun, so Gattitown was perfect for us. We even got a face painting! Also, we liked the prizes better than Epic Fun, and it seemed like the games were cheaper, too. 2 adults and 1 child all-you-can-eat buffet with drinks plus a $40 game card cost us $67, and we won about 300 tickets and were able to get some of

Salads are always fresh and bomb. Clean serving areas. Clean dining.

Great for the whole family!! Good selection of pizzas, but I do wish they served more thin crust selections! Salad bar is well-stocked! Good place for parties or even bring the team here at the end of the season!

The games were not the best. There isn't a big selection. And many are all a little expensive. However... The food is amazing. There is such a great selection, and everything tasted wonderful. Plus, the people working there are so friendly and helpful. As soon as you're finished with a plate, there is someone offering to take it off the table. Everything is also so clean. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to take a break somewhere with a great atmosphere and food.

It's really good to come to a place where they treat you well and they will make you any pizza you want customized.

The young people working there are working good but I don't understand we're the money went because we went after COVID and they are still using the paper towels for for cleaning windows they don't make enough money to buy napkins? And to make it worse the floor is extremely sticky and dirty.

Great if you have young kids. Food good. Very clean

Pizza and games. What more must be said. Have your next birthday here, wey! They got that Gatti's ranch & a pizza game combo like $45 for 4 ppl- unlimited pizza, drinks, and reloadable $5 game pass each

I know it's for kids but pizza was meh at best, and left me sicker than all get out for the next two days

It is a great place in the eyes of children which is the audience but the floors and tables are sticky and nasty the food is bland and the workers show no emotion

Went with my almost 3yo princess, she loved it, but they should have more toddler friendly and interactive games, and also machines that give more tickets, the kids go there for the prizes. The photo booth wasn't working, none of them. My baby was happy so I was happy.

I have a big soft spot for Gattis, and fun. This place delivers both. Nice quiet sports area when trying to get away from the loud chaos if needed as well.

Pizza was good. Not too many selections for a lunch buffet. Price was ok, but I expected more items for the price

Had fun playing games. The pizza was good until a kid sneezed on it in the employee watched in didn't do nothing about it. But other than that, my kids had a blast. Almost won lots of prizes and my youngest in oldest son love thw move theater part

Good prices. hot buffet pizza with salads and sweets. 4 rating is because of the cleanliness. They are always picking up and cleaning but they use wet rags and just kinda smear/wipe tables and seats.

The employee Reese with the beautiful eyelashes was very courteous and very kind and polite. He is a hard worker and is always friendly. I have been coming here with my grandkids for years and enjoy talking to him. The employee Star was very courteous also.

This place is my go to for cheap decent pizza. Just takes ya back to being a kid

Let me start by saying my expectations where not high coming here but they still managed to be a disappointment despite me setting a low bar. Atleast half the games are broken, pizza sits on buffet so long it's literally crunchy felt unsafe to eat. Building is in disrepair. Just an all around awful place, even chuck e cheese is better and that's really saying something. Dave your money go to dave n busters or pinballz. DO NOT GO HERE ??

Gattitown is HUUUURTING! Plastic forks, bins of parmesan and red pepper flakes instead of the small shakers, the busboy having phlegm and spitting it out in front of guests, and the manager doing anything but manage. He stood here the whole time we ate, talking about everything from basketball to credit cards, and with these girls guessing their ages. We had enough when F Bombs started getting thrown around. Meanwhile, the buffet is half empty and the restrooms look like trash.

Great, not so loud dining area with long tables Loud and exciting games section for kids, including bumper cars.

Been taking my children for years. Recently, however, we went and found it has improved in cleanliness, food and entertainment was noticeably better---- new games. :)

Pizza was okay. Crust weight and roll very inconsistent ....usually toward overweight (my experience is legit). Sauce too heavy on edge. Toppings distribution and amounts were great. Sports room is a freezer ever time I visit. My plate (with remaining veggies, jalape?os, napkins) gets taken early about half the time Brownies, incredible.

We had a wonderful time at Gattitown in SouthPark Meadows. They always have some kind of special going on for families like the $40 family fun pack that includes 4 buffets and 4 $5 game cards. The place is mostly clean (I'm sure it's hard to keep those floors and things from getting sticky with all the foot traffic) and the pizza is hot and fresh and plentiful. The kids had a wonderful time. Thank you!

I didn't get the value I paid for.. 15 bucks for an adult buffet and a drink and get cold pizza.. most of the employees are on their phone not wanting to work hard for the customer

Good for kids to have fun. There is a lot of parking here.

After all of our Mr. GATTIS Pizza Buffet closed down in my hometown, I've been missing this place like crazy. I was so happy to find another one here in Austin. It took me back to my childhood years when I would eat unlimited amounts of pizza, spaghetti, and play in the game room while collecting tons of tickets. I really enjoyed my time at this place.

Overpriced for what you get. Tables were dirty and had to wait 30 minutes for pizza I wanted. Staff let people cut in front of me and take all the pizza. I finally had to get manager so I could get some pizza. Parents need to control their kids cause one kid sneezed on the pizza and kids were using gross hands. When I told staff theect needed on pizza for people to get sick. I had to heth inspector. Won't go back.

I love the place over there. In all honesty, in is not a bad price for all you can eat pizza buffet and salad. It comes with not bad deals with game cards if you want to go as well. I love the pizza, the pizza has always been great and never a dull moment of taste. There are 3 rooms that I have went into. A quiet room with no television and you can just sit back and enjoy the food with family and the paintings on the wall. A sports room for all the fans and a cartoon room for you know, the little ones and f

Absolutely horrible, management was a sad, sad, sad joke. I will never return. Check in staff was ok until the manager set the tone that her time was more Important than customer experience.

Loved our dining experience!!!! The pizza was amazing. Full salad bar . The brownies, chef?s kiss. And they even made me my own custom pizza fresh and hot . Lots of games to play and you can't beat the price. The staff was super friendly too!!!

This place has gone completely downhill. Used to love this place as a kid and now it's just trash I mean pizza is decent. The floors are always slippery or sticky. Last Wednesday my family and I went and they weren't polite about a pizza request and some items were cold and hard. As I walked to the drink area floor was very sticky. Think next time we will just take out or something. Thank you for the decency though.

I stopped by to visit my grandson and had to pay dang near $60 for a buffet that I was not going to eat. They need a better pricing module. Since I did pay, I decided to get a salad. Wrong choice! Options are limited. They had a ranch dressing and italian, and the imitation bacon bits are disgusting.

Pizza was cold and parents were harassed when they tried to come in and pick up their kids from the game room. Actually had an employee approach us in the game room and argue with us about parents picking up their kids from the party that we paid for. NEVER AGAIN. ***Also emailed the company directly (as requested) and still have not heard back from them.????????

There should be a better variety of pizza rotation other than the four types they continually got going. Us as customers shouldn't be viewed in an ugly manner when we grab a slice or two. Also, when cleaning something, say excuse me or just wait for the customers to be done with what they are doing. It is so rude to just cut in front or over them while they are getting their food they paid for. Chances are they are going to make the same mess as well. Don't get me wrong, you, as the workers, are fully appre

Fresh pizza full of variety clean establishment and friendly employees

Came to pick my child up from a birthday party and was harassed by the employees. The woman at the front said if I was going to be longer than a second picking her up that I would need to pay. Okay, sure, that's fine. So I go to quickly pick her up and am approached by another employee who told me that I had an attitude and needed to pay even though we were obviously leaving. We asked to talk to the manager who also harassed us as well as the parents whom had paid for birthday party. It seemed like the empl

We got there at 7 pm. The girl informed us they would be closing at 8 pm. For our family, we paid about 90.00. (6 of us) We were disappointed that when we got to the buffet, there was little to choose from. The few slices that were there were cold. After a while, they did put some out. They were good when hot. There was not many customers yet they couldn't keep up. The floor in the dining room was really sticky and the tables were very dirty. No napkins. When we went to play in the game room, the games were

The place was dirty. Floors, tables, chairs, buffet areas and drink machines were just filthy. Even in the game room the carpet looked like it had not been swept or vacuumed in months. Few employees were very nice and tried to be as courteous as they could. But the rest were either on their phones or just not willing to make contact with the customers. The salad bar was so dirty that I refused to eat a salad from it. The pizza was usually cold on the buffet because it seemed that the heat lamps or the heate

Fun place to take the kids. Pizza was good and they offer crustless pizza upon request. It was bust and they struggled to keep pizza on the buffet but they did good keeping them coming as fast as they could.

This place is trash, pizza is cold and been sitting under the lamps for way to long. The heat lamps are not heating anything. Employees just huddled around every corner or even by the buffet talking and cussing at each other without any mind to customers around them. There are visible fly strips hanging all in the kitchen. There are a few young employees that were actually doing what they needed to do but most just looked annoyed. The cashier was sweet at least.

Here for a child's birthday party. It was ok. I did purchase a buffet and the selection that was out was very limited and not much out. Tried the apple desert which used to be my fave but the crust was not cooked very well. A few of the main attractions in the game room were broken. Over all ok. I think everyone in the service industry is still struggling with understaffing so feel like I can't be too critical.

I grew up with this place and still love it

Please don't take your kids here. The games are a scam compared to other arcades. Restrooms are extremely dirty, the pizza is cold and old, and the place smells like dirty mop water. 60% of the staff if walking around. It was my first time and I'm never going back to this place again.

Great place for some fun & games with the kiddos ! Pizza always fresh & game room on point ??

Went in after 830 pm and was immediately approached and harrassed. I told the girl I just wanted to see the games and maybe play. I ignored them and went to see if you had trap door game and why I was looking I pointed at the machine to buy credit and a overweight lady approached me and was being hostile looking for a fight. I had someone with me and I had to pull away because I found that the employee had formed a attack squad and we were surrounded by employees who were being aggressive and confrontationa

Food is always delicious here but this recent time we went it smelled like nasty mop water from the moment we entered. I mentioned it to the cashier because the smell was overwhelming and he said of yeah it's from this machine we use to clean the floor. Wasn't the best response but that was why it smells in there he said.

Great place to go with the fam. Havnt gone here in a while but it definitely don't disappoint. Food is great and there's a good variety at salad bar and always enough pizza .

I love their pizza and buffet options.

Good pizza. And you can also request any kind of pizza you would like and they will make it for you. And the games there are fun

This is a fun place to take the little ones. There are tons of games, pizza and a decent salad bar.

The front counter thin lady seemed rude and did not bother to catch her name. Seemed like she did not want my wife and I to be there.

The guys there are nice and friendly especially with all the kids big and small that come there for a bite and entertainment. They kept the place clean despite all the chaos. Yes it is noisy but what do you expect from a place for the wee ones? Food is always good and they switch it out when needed. Only reason for 4stars is that with it being a weekday it doesn't get rotated as fast compared with the weekends when it would normally be all gone, but it still is good. Shout out to the people there. You're do

Sometimes you get lucky and the pizza is hot and fresh. Sometimes you don't get lucky and a thousand unsupervised kids cut in front of you and there's no clean spot to sit making you wish you didn't waste your money. Employees are always super nice and friendly. Added a star because now they offer delivery/pick up.

Many years since visited Gattitown and ambience is still the same, plenty of games to choose from to play, food great, TV's aplenty while eating, again appreciated Gattitown

Fun for kiddos. The pizza isn't bad but the place isn't very clean it seemed. One of the staff asked us which dirty table she should wipe down for us to sit.... wouldn't you want to clean all the dirty tables?

I wasn't planning on eating, brought the kids because they wanted gatti?s, I was planning for Kahn?s after they eat here, but you're still required to pay $14 ($10.69 + $ 2.79 for a drink, drink not optional, you must pay even if getting water) even if you don't plan on eating. That was my only disappointment. I think I would have preferred Peter Piper Pizza, where you're not forced to pay for something you're not going to get.

The plates were wet, the salad dressing containers looked gross and the dressing was not identifiable and they offered an Exorcist doll to my little boy as a game prize. I remember this place being so much nicer before.

Decided to take my kiddos to eat and play. At arrival my husband decided to join us, he had already eaten but wanted to help me with the 3 kids. He was told he would need to purchase a buffet even though he was not eating or drinking anything. No problem, we did so without hesitation. We entered the only dining room that was open and it was pretty gross. The floors were nasty the tables were gross but we managed. Once we began to make our plates the pizza and other food items us clearly been sitting for a w

Went for a birthday the kids had a great time. Pizza was good but not as many desert pizza as I like ?? but everything was hot and plenty of other options. Fun games to keep everyone occupied

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
