Customer Reviews

This place was SO much fun and all the employees were very patient, accommodating, generous and kind. I've never had these thoughts or feelings at any arcade or fun center before. I will absolutely come back here and recommend it to everyone. We played in the arcade, hit some golf balls, rode go carts, and batting cages. There's also mini golf that looked super fun but we ran out of time. We also brought our own skates and went skating in the public rink next door for free and played our own music mix on ou

Good place to have fun. Most of it is outdoors, which is great. (Mini golf,go-karts, batting cages.) Pricing used to be unbelievable. Now they uped the price a little but still worth going if you love being outdoors and playing these activities. When they have water going through the courses they are super cool

This place is so fun and affordable! It has so many different holes that provide a variety of different fun obstacles! Every hole is however doable. I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves minu golf!

My family & I had so much FUN! Celebrated my son's birthday! Not too busy that we enjoyed the go karts, mini golf, and the arcade had us feeling like kids again! Great customer service, communication here is one of the best experiences in an establishment of sorts. Love the views being next to the mountains ??????

It is so fun my kids spent 4 hours there at the arcade, and the base ball thing field, and obviously the mini golf area. I especially loved the water there

What to say about Gateway park! The activity?s to do there are: go karts, batting cages for baseball ??, arcades and mini golf. All rides are constantly staffed except the batting cages which need no staff at all! On the subject of staff, they are friendly, and the area was not to crowded for a Saturday afternoon. Prices are a little expensive but we were visiting with a family of 4 so Ofc it's going to be more expensive that most visits. If you are in boulder and want to have a great time, come to gateway

This was a fun place for the kids. They now have an arcade which they did not few years back. The arcade was a lot of fun for kids and pretty cheap, you get a lot of tickets and okay prizes. The mini golf was nice and small, 2-18 hole golf courses. Was not kept to clean but good for the price. We had a coupon and got two games for buy one get one free. Otherwise it ranged from 5-9.50 depending on games and ages. They had a maze, little kids go karts, adult go karts and a batting cage.

Its a cute park with mini golf, bumper cars, go carts, softball practice cages, roller hockey, and golf practice areas, and a maze! Inside, there are arcade games, food, drinks, and prizes. Kiddo and I will definitely be back! I only rated a 4 star because I do think it could use a bit of cleaning up. It looks like an older building, so some wear and tear is expected, but a little TLC wouldn't hurt! ??

We went for slow speed pitching baseball and the cages were broken. Only fast pitch was available. No signs of any kind in person or online. Apparently it's been broken for a long time. We paid for tokens and staff was wishy washy with answering on the cages. Save your time and money and go elsewhere for slow pitch baseball batting cages!

Such a fun place! We were a group of adults and enjoyed every attraction. The park needs little upgrades but did see them working on them, especially the mini golf area. Workers were also sanitizing after every group. Overall, nice to stop by for a couple of hours!

I have enjoyed going to Gateway with my family for over 15 years and it never lets us down. Nestled along the foothills it has a scenic go cart course with mini golf, batting cages, driving range, arcade and Skee ball.

We had so much fun here. For a Friday in May it seemed not at all crowded, maybe 10-12 other people. We enjoyed the batting cage, go-carts, and putt-putt golf.

Well this place here is something else if you ask me, in one word this place is extraordinary. Constant fun and a overall joyful experience, especially if you're with your family. With two golf courses the fun never stops, from one to twenty five it gets progressively harder as you play. But still it's soooooo fun! Secondly with my personal favorite, the go kart is amazing with the choice of having your own to drive and or a two seater which applies to safety which is key. Lastly is the arcade with many gam

We've been going to gateway park fun center for over a decade. We love playing the arcade games and air hockey. They also have mini golf, go karts and a (golf) driving range.

One of the best places in Boulder where kids can spend hours there without getting bored

We were here at the end of October to mini golf, still gorgeous weather but with way less people! Both courses were fun and had enough challenge to make it interesting!

Gateway Park is a great place to visit with family and friends. However, at the arcade, to add up all the tickets, you have to have all your receipts so that they know exactly that you won the total amount of tickets. Also, sometimes the ticket eaters will subtract a number of the total amount of tickets you feed the machine. With all that said, I recommend replacing the machines or switching to game cards that don't use paper tickets. Anyway, I hope this all makes sense, and I'm not trying to disappoint or

Go karting and mini golf was a lot of fun! As were the batting cages. The staff was very helpful and prompt. They have great arcade games, even if there aren't that many. Maybe they could try to expand the arcade section. Also, don't eat the pizza.

Gateway Park Fun Center is a very fun Center that you can do anything from golfing to go cart riding. But unfortunately I could not do those things I was stuck inside the arcade due to the weather but it was still fun. It was not as fun as it could have been. I would recommend it to people that have kids because it was very family friendly.

I've been coming here since I was knee high. I ran over my uncles foot with a kid go kart once. Now I use the range. Other than my jacket being stolen, and now returned. Ive never once had a bad experience. Can't say the same for my uncle.

Great place to bring your kids for a little afternoon out. I don't have kids, but if I did, I know they'd love it here. I myself love it here, especially when I get to go with friends and just vibe out. The arcade has a good collection of games and the staff has always been really nice to me

Had a blast! $28 gets you 3 activities and 10 tokens. Great video game selection that were not skimpy with tickets. All of the staff members were super nice and helpful.

Staff is very nice. Especially the guy at the Go-Karts. He was so patient with our autistic son. It is such a fun and welcoming establishment.

This is one of my absolute favorite places in Boulder - one of the few places left that feel real - it takes you back to a time when life wasn't as complicated and everyone wasn't trying to be something they are not. My husband and I are in our 30s but this place makes us feel like kids again. The park is clean, well kept with fun arcade games, batting cages, go-karts and mini golf - no mater what age you're bound to have fun. The atmosphere is great and the employees are super friendly- specially the manag

Thank you all who worked 10/23. The works as amazing and my daughters 12th birthday party was the best. We will be coming back

We hosted a really fun kids birthday party at Gateway Park Fun Center. The kids loved playing mini golf, riding the go karts, and playing in the arcade. As a parent, it was easy, reasonably priced, and convenient. The overall place feels a bit run down, but the arcade is well maintained and has fun games, and the mini golf is in good condition and has fun holes.

This is a fun place for all. My family enjoyed it. The games are decently priced. The go-carts are in good condition and the track is worth the time of day. My kids love go-carts. This is a safe area. It's located about 35 miles north of Denver. Not a bad drive. It's located in a beautiful area. It sits out by itself. They have kiddie go-carts tracks where the kids can operate their own go-carts. They simply need to be a certain height. The putt-putt course is good and fun for all. We have to take our twi

What a cute place! Prices were really reasonable for all the activities I looked at. We played putt putt. The holes are pretty basic. Mostly par 2 but there are tons of trees and a river all throughout and the features are cute. We will definitely be back.

Good place to kill some time with kids, or adults. Two recently upgraded mini golf courses. Go carts and a small arcade. Baseball practice too.

Great arcade, go carts and mini golf. Fun for kids and adults! They have batting cages and driving range too but we didn't try those.

The kids love this place. Lots of decent games to earn tickets to get junk. And batting cage, go carts, mini golf, and driving range.

Fun and affordable. Mini golf was under $20 for two people and included two separate 18-hole courses. I would have liked to check out the indoor arcade, but didn't have cash and the ATM was not working. For the price, you won't find much better!

We had so much fun ! The mini golf is sweet and there are two courses. The go karting looked cool too. They also have batting cages a driving range and an arcade !! Overall a great place to hang with friends, being a date , or the whole family !!

Best arcade around thats has actual "Fair" Prices. Place is showing a bit of age though. Go karts and mini golf is really fun. Maze can be fun.

Gateway is the best, I have loved going there since I was 1

We love Gateway--a friendly, low-key mini golf & entertainment center. My son likes it so much, he's had 3 birthday parties there. The go-karts are lots of fun and they are very generous with the time on track. Batting cages also great. Not so much into the arcade myself but the kids love it & they do have ski ball, air hockey too. Not as expensive as the corporate places and not as gaudy. Great place to spend and afternoon.

Two great mini golf courses with fun and unique obstacles while not being too challenging for kids. Greens are really well maintained. Didn't try the arcade, batting cages, driving range or go carts but they seemed cool.

My 6 year old loves putt putt, air hockey and arcade games here. Very family friendly. I think the putt putt great fun too

Our family has come to liking putt putt. We thought we would try this one out. They have 2 courses a long with go carts, a maze, batting cages, driving range, arcade and roller hockey. The putt putt corse is shaded for the most part you will get sun so wear sunscreen. They have benches throughout the courses to sit if needed I would say handicap friend but it is not a flat course. Reasonable day out for the family to have some fun.

Small, but charming. Games are expensive and offer little playing time. The mini golf was the main attraction and seemed to be a much better deal. Food and drinks were affordable.

We brought our grandkids to play mini golf. There are two fun courses.

This place is well let's just say interesting. I went here last summer with the summer camp program I was working for. It's definitely a little older. You can tell it hasn't been updated recently. The maze is not too difficult, but some kids might find it fun. The arcade is quite small. The games are fun but if there are many people there it gets very crowded inside. The mini golf is fun and I would say the best part of the park. I didn't try the go karting nor did any of the kids I was with try it but prob

Quite fun. We mini golfed, go karts and batting cages. The mini golfing was fun. A bit crowded, and you'll see repeat designs. But the amount of shade and cleanliness was more than enough. They were well maintained. The go karts were fun. Short and enjoyable. Enough hard turns to have fun. No broken karts and a full complement of drivers made our ride enjoyable. Batting cages were nice. We split 10 tokens and had a ball. The machines were slightly wonky, more so than normal. Overall it was a very enjoya

It's close to home, so it's convenient for me. Can be a little crowded on weekends, especially the mini golf. Kids love the baseball pitching. Go Karts are expensive for us. We love the mini golf - good price and the courses are just plain fun. We frequently lose our golf balls in the water, then the kids have to reach in to retrieve them - cools them off in the summer time. Plenty of shady spots near the golf course. We have played the games inside, for fun, but only use the ticket rewards for small

Hosted a child's birthday party here and had a wonderful experience. Helpful and attentive staff, clean and well-maintained grounds, overall easy scheduling and pure fun on the day of the event. Only other feedback would be that some pricing information on the website is out of date, but this didn't significantly affect our experience. Thank you to your team!

This place has been here forever but is still amazing and has been kept up. It even still has the same vibe from 20 years ago but with a new twist, so glad places like this still exist and continue to offer a bright spot even in the middle of a pandemic. Thank you!

Cheap, fun, and sanitized. Happy overall with the experience. There was a friendly pup that greeted us at the counter and gave great service. The dog made sure to come around the counter and greeted each of us in our group of 5. Friendly owner as well! An arcade game ran out of tickets but the clerk quickly came to refill the machine. While on the put put course, we saw a bunny too on our course hanging out. Go karts were a blast too.

My family and I have been there a number of times, and we have enjoyed it. Our favorite thing to do there is the mini golf course. It is great for older kids on up, but we have had a hard time engaging our kids who are between 3 and 5. Some of the holes are pretty difficult, even for the adults! All in all, it's a good place to get away with the family.:)

Visited this cute Miniature golf course on Thanksgiving. I was surprised they were even open, let alone to have one of the best customer service experience EVER! I have been in this industry for over 10 years and the owners of this facility are the exact reason I always try to support local businesses. When we arrived they were dead- 2 people on the course. They let us play "for free" and said Happy Thanksgiving. At the end of the course when you return the ball you receive a ticket- my ticket said FREE ROU

Batting cages, go carts and miniature golf are great here. Always fun. But the driving range is horrible. I wouldn't recommend going for that, not at all. The driving range is not taken care of. Overall though, as a whole, a good place to bring the kids and have some fun.

Thank you Abigail who helped us out with our food order! She was pleasant and very attentive! Also a great place to hit the driving range for out of towners! 2 buckets is PLENTY! What a cool hidden gem!

Great go carts for the family. Reasonable pricing for a family punch pass. Kiddos had a blast on the go carts. The mini golf course looks great, we will have to try that next time. Nice folks and good fun.

A great time for the family. The mini golf was really fun, well kept and had some really fun holes. The Go-Karts had some decent speed. The arcade was a little busy/tight and felt like there was a bit to many people in it for the size of the building.

Did not have time to try everything but loved both mini golf courses! Had a blast on the go karts and the variety of arcade games is really good! Our first time there and staff were very friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend this for the family!

Just moved here and the place we were from had a similar place the kids 11 and 13) loved to go to. Overall, enjoyed our visit and we will go back. Pros: clean, not crowded, 2 mini golf courses, golf pretty well maintained and shaded with fun themes (but not too crazy), lots of color golf balls to choose from, enjoyed the go carts, kids liked the arcade Cons: expensive even with the coupon (13.50 a person you can pick 2 attractions and get 10 arcade tokens), golf not very challenging, wish you could ride t

Took some of Crush boys to Gateway Park Fun Center. Putt-putt, go-carts, maze, batting cages, driving range. Very reasonable price! $60 family card and last the hole day! Recommend for sure!

My kids are only 4 so I was a bit skeptical if they would be old enough to enjoy Gateway, as I remember being older when I came here years ago, but it turned out to be wonderfully family friendly! They do a great job with Birthdays, the staff was all very friendly and accommodating, and our girls loved racing the mini go karts around the kids track. Definitely worth a visit even with younger kids!

Came on a weekday. Staff was super nice. It was quiet. We got the value punch card for $32 and our family of three split it. Hubby enjoyed the driving range while the kid and I did our thing for a bit. Definitely will be back.

Was there with my grandson & my daughter. It was the first decent day to be outside in many days. There were many families there. For miniature golf, all precautions were taken with clubs and balls. People maintained their distance on the course. Grandson was PO'd the game room was at capacity. I was glad the limit was enforced. It was great being outside in nice weather.

It's a fun place for hanging out with family and friends. The adult go-kart is super fun (pick the double pink kart, IT'S FAST)! Some of the arcade doesn't work and the 1 coin ones are very tricky. The mini golf courses are fun and challenging. Just sorta wished that the arcade place is a little bigger because it gets really crowded and crammed.

We only played in the arcade. Most games were either .50 cents or $1. Worth it to spend the afternoon with the family and play some games. We spend $25 for 2 adults and 2 kiddos and had a blast. If we come back to Boulder will definitely be back to try some mini golf or some of the other activities they offer!

Family spent nearly the whole day here! Two rounds of go karting and 18 holes of mini golf! Perfect for all ages. They even have double go karts for smaller kids to ride with their parents. Plenty of shade and a nice little picnic table area for bring your own food.

I went with my parents, siblings and two boys (ages spanning from 6-70 years old) and we ALL had a BLAST! We had so much fun the first night we went that we all decided to go again the next night. Between the go karts, mini golf and the arcade, there are plenty of attractions for all ages, interests and abilities. We went on week nights and it was not too crowded so there were no lines! The staff is friendly and deliver fast service. The facilities are clean and well maintained. I strongly recommend this as

My girlfriend and I went here to feel like kids again, and had the BEST time! We were welcomed by one of the owners, and she told us the difference between the two courses, and everything else we needed to know! We played both courses, and enjoyed them both! There were benches to sit on along the way, and lots of shade from the sun. Would love to go again to try the go-karts.

This place is great for kids. My 10 and 12-year-old both love the go karts, mini-golf and maze. My son got frustrated with the batting cages. He's a great hitter in little league, but these pitches were all too fast for him, even though they have different levels. He was able to hit the softballs, but that was after spending lots of time (and $$) on the baseballs.

Our family has been to Gateway Park Fun Center many times. We've ridden the go-karts, hit baseballs at the batting cages, used the driving range, played in the arcade, and played lots of mini golf. We always have a great time. Gateway Park Fun Center is well maintained and the staff has always been friendly. It's one of the nicest places to play mini golf since the landscaping is pretty and there is a good amount of shade, so even in the summer it's not too hot. We definitely recommend going to Gateway

Nice old school amusement type park. Miniature golf is nice + go carts, batting cages & arcade. Great fun!

I've had the pleasure of visiting this establishment on multiple occasions. Plenty of parking and just a short drive from downtown Boulder which is a plus. My first visit was visiting the driving range with my Dad. I really appreciated the automated machine where we retrieved the golf balls (note to the wise: be sure the basket is under where the golf balls shoot out or else you'll be retrieving them off the ground for awhile). Many choices of drivers and irons if you do not have your own clubs. Mini golf w

Great place! Went with my nephews and family on two different occasions and had a lot of fun! Go Carts and Put-Put are the two favorites. Staff was great and the facilities are well kept. FYI Go Carts have a regulator on them that limits the engine output. Still a lot of fun and speed, but if you want to win, try to flip the governor dial knob to the "up" position on engine block on back of go cart. This will be tricky. Governor switch is a red dial on engine. Possibly can switch dial with your foot

Visited this morning (11/2/22). Employee was 20 minutes late to open. ATM was broken. Card reader on the token machine broken. Employee refused to accept a $100 bill. Needless to say this made it challenging to aquire tokens and enjoy the arcade. The mini golf course completely covered in leaves. Not expecting anything fancy here, but the incompetence this morning was comical.

We Love Gateway! We had a Birthday party at Gateway 2 years in a row, with 8 of us participating. Loved that we could experience many different activities all in one day. Baseball cages, mini golf, Go Karts, an outdoor water sprayer for hot days. The staff is wonderful! They were patient and very nice to us. We spent 4 hours having the best time!

My son and I love this place for mini golf. They take pretty good care of this place. Few holes could use some work. Hopefully they will fix the tee off areas a little better. Prices aren't too bad. We always get there early to beat the crowds.

Gateway is so fun. I like this place better than the bigger mini golf courses. They roses are decorated nicely. They don't play annoying music which is great. The go-cart track is also really fun.

I walked in and it is sooooo crowded you can't walk around or even stand in one place without getting bumped into. I have never been here and I didn't understand their pricing and the staff member that helped me was impatient and not helpful or welcoming at all!!! Then sold me something that made no sense for me to buy because we weren't doing all of the activities. The staff member that helped me buy the tickets walked away from the desk before the transaction was even all the way completed, that's how rud

We have been coming her for years, the kids love it. We enjoy the arcade and go karts, my kids don't like mini golf very much, but I find it enjoyable. The arcade often has machines that are not working properly and eat the tokens or don't give tickets, but that doesn't stop us from visiting.

Cheap, clean and great fun! We played 2 courses of 18 holes and bought a hot dog meal with chips and a drink ans snack bar, all under $35 for the both of us!

Absolutely love this place for a couple fun hours out in the nice weather. Driving range has a great view of the north Flatirons and both the mini-golf courses are well-maintained. It does get crowded on the weekends, but where else can you drive go-karts in winter outdoors??!

Kids enjoy it, but the grounds are getting pretty run down. Additionally the games are frequently broken inside and the workers not the most understanding when you inform them. Would love to see the owners invest some real money into improving the property and amenities.

Log off and enjoy some fun in reality! Had a great time with my nephews here the GWP Fun Center! The employees were so friendly and helped us maximize our time there. Putt putt, go carts, batting cages!

What's not to like? Fantastic location on the north edge of boulder, which is fun to get to from Longmont via Nelson. Batting cages are solid, the 36 holes of mini golf (which you're encouraged by the owners to play both sides), well maintained driving range, go karts and some fun arcade games to win tickets. You will drop some cash but its worth it

We've been going to Gateway Park Fun Center on and off for years, depending on the age and interests of our kids. We recently enjoyed a round of mini-golf with our 9 year old. The course is well-maintained and in good condition after all these years. I can imagine the mini-golf being busy on a weekend or summer evening; we had the luxury of playing late morning before heading off for a picnic in nearby Heil Valley Ranch. Kids always enjoy winning tickets in the arcade and cashing them in for a variety of p

Haven't played the other attractions but the driving range is great to have right in town. The mats are in good shape and I love the view. It can get full at busy times so be aware of that but the middle of the day I sometimes get the place to myself or close to it :)

We went on a Wednesday that happened to fall on Valentine's Day and had an amazing time. We were the only ones at the park since we showed up early and it was a Wednesday afternoon and the wind was actually quite intense, so the gentleman allowed us to play both courses for a discounted price! He also kindly checked on the ingredients in their pretzels to make sure they were vegan, and gave us extra balls to test all the tubes on the holes (the wind had blown debris in one tube on hole 1 but we had no other

This place is cool! It's a little retro but in a good way and kept pretty clean. Prices are not bad and lots to do even if it's a bit random. Out on the edge of Boulder and just a fun place! Where else can you play mini golf, skee ball, hit some baseballs, eat a pretzel, drive some golf balls and go-karts all in one place?

xWhile my husband was in Boulder on business, I needed a place to take the kids for some fun. This was perfect. We started with one of the two fun mini-golf courses. The course we chose had a lot of water hazards that made it actually pretty hard to stay out of the water. Luckily, my 12 and 6 year olds didn't want to keep score so they thought it was funny to get it in the water. Then we hit the Go Karts. My little one was too small to ride on the big cars with his brother, but when he found out he could ri

Cool place to bring the kids, a great way to kill a few hours, pretty clean and decently priced for what it is. The games kept running out of tickets but staff was quick to reload. I would like to see it updated. Maybe some new attractions and a fresh coat of paint goes a long way. This really could be a great attraction. It really hasn't changed in decades.

What a great experience. Last weekend I took my son to Gateway Park for the driving range and go karts. We had a blast. But, the best part about Gateway Park is the people. The customer service is top notch and you can tell they really care about their customers. For example, I lost my wallet while I was there. The three people there that day, Erin, Chris, and Aaron (I believe I got their names correct) all worked as a team to try to find my wallet. In fact after a few hours they found it and gave me

We absolutely love Gateway! The owners are really nice and it's a great place to spend a sunny day, and a bad weather day. We've done several of our kids' birthday parties there and it's our go to spot for Mother's Day. We love the minigolf, the go-karts and of course, the arcade.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025!
