Heres a tip: if you show your receipt from food upstairs to the game counter downstairs they will give you an extra 100 coins for your $50. The games were fun and we were supposed how long $50 got us. Other than that we had an issue come up but the manager Mark really stepped in and stepped up in helping us out.

Nah. This place isn't what it used to be. We wanted to try something new and haven't been here since I was a teenager. It's expensive for the games with little to no return value. The claw machines are rigged way more than other venues. I keep seeing on their website and menu about $52 for 400 but when we bought cards it only loaded 300 on each. Fun place with a ton of arcade games. Like most arcades nowadays, the items that you use tickets to buy were extremely overpriced. And the games that gave any good amount of tickets cost a lot of points. Pretty scammy. But we mostly played games that didn't give tickets, and our points lasted enough time to feel worth it.

Had a great time at GameWorks Seattle! The place has a fun, energetic vibe with tons of games?from retro classics to modern favorites. It was a little humid inside, but still a solid experience overall. The bar downstairs is a nice touch?not a huge selection of beer, but what they had was good. We came for the kids but the adults have just as much fun. The food, games and overall vibe to the place was perfect. We visited during the week so there was practically no-one there but us. We had pizza, wings and shakes and they all were equally perfect! We never expected to win many tickets but still left with something for everyone. This is a neat little gaming area, with its fun and benefits. But the employees are beyond malicious. On August 30th 2023, I came in for about an hour because I needed to kill some time before my movie at Regal started. I sunk about $40 into the games and got a few trinkets. We came here as a party group, for dinner, 2 free drinks and the unlimited play card deal. It brings us back to our youths, with the various games they have here. From the classic basketball shoots, to the Beatmania and Dawn of the dead. During the time I visited they had just installed 2 new Beat saber stations too! It was a blast. I came here for the first time in 97 when they opened. At that time I had never seen such a fancy arcade. Now they are pretty common, but we still absolutely loved it. Not super crowded, games were in great condition. It's a tradition now.

Full disclosure, didn't play any games but walked around to check it out. There are a lot of really cool games and lots of different styles of gaming. They have something for everyone. There's a bar and restaurant too. The prizes are pretty nice and tickets don't cost too much. $25 for 140. One of the games we were interested in was 25 tickets so $25 will get you a few games which seems decent.

Definitely a fun place! We usually come here before or after a movie and we always have a great time. There are plenty of games and activities. Great for date night or a family outing. The only thing to mention is not to expect much from your ticket accumulation. You'll spend quite a few dollars and your tickets typically won't by much so set your expectations on what your tickets will buy. Highly recommended!

$50 doesn't even last a hour of play here as the games are spendy. The price of the prizes are more expensive than other game places. Good thing is the location, it is near lots of bus lines and the train station.

Definitely worth the visit! Nice, smaller crowd for a Sunday night, and staff was super kind to us. Parking nearby was easy, and there looked to be good public transit spots nearby as well. Huge points for great food, awesome prize catcher/claw machines, and the massive variety of games, though I docked a points for the high credit fees on machines and lack of decently-priced ticket prizes. I'm excited to come again in the future and to bring friends here, but wouldn't really recommend this for people look

A little pricey but a great afternoon of fun with the grandkids, lots of games but some were in need of general maintenance, no cleaning wipes handy for the 3D goggles...busy area of downtown so perhaps reserve parking.

We use Gameworks for team events and twice now they have exceeded expectations! They care about their customers and helped make our event a smashing success. At one point we had 160 attendees, some that did not RSVP in advance, but the kitchen and staff at Gameworks helped me pull off a great event. Highly recommend this place for a distracted digital society to spend time together, play games, eat good pizza and food and have fun!

Had a menu nearly the same size but with arbitrarily removed items because of the convention. Mind you, there were barely any people in there so it's not like it's because they expected a ton of people. Removed their milkshakes (the whole reason I came here) and for some reason random items like their chicken sandwich ????? Why remove that because of a convention. And their online menu is still the same, no mention of it sometimes being limited. This sucked.

Decent selection, a bit expensive. Dropped in for a quick half hour. There's a variety of video and classic arcade games, with a few unique ones you wouldn't typically find in other places. Some of the older games, particularly some of the shooters, aren't maintained all that well. But otherwise it's quite good.

This is one of the best arcades in the entire country. What a vibe! Surprised its not packed on a Sunday but more games for us!

This was a fun place to spend some time with our kids after walking around Seattle. We opted for 4, $25 cards to play on (these were taxed, which I didn't love) but the cards last a long time. There are drinks and food upstairs and places to rest your feet after a day of walking.

A really entertaining and beautiful place. The games are in excellent condition. If you want to drink something you must bring your ID and the prices are standard, for example a cocktail costs 16 dollars.

Excellent staff and great place to have fun! We had one of our many local events here, and the staff was super accommodating and really friendly! One of the few fun places we could go to with our suits for fun! Our only concern was the extremely high prices for event reservations.

Went here for a friends 40th birthday party! We were in a private party area that had a pool table and was catered! Food was Mexican with enchiladas, nachos, and taco bar! Was very tasty! Then we had unlimited gaming (on all the games except for the games that give out tickets) for 2 hours! I guess the only negative is that the drinks are super expensive buts that wasnt really a suprise.

This was a reunion trip for my son who was meeting up with a friend who came down from Texas. Some games & food. The atmosphere was nice, families all getting together having fun, there are sighs about sanitation but I personally didn't see anyone cleaning in the 4-5hrs we were there. It's the equivalent to Round 1 in California, but the prices and games were good. For 25$ the game credit I got lasted me like an hr or so. I think they need some new games alot of their old ones the controls suck. Food I didn't bother, the beer prices are fair.

It's the best arcade I ever seen in a long while. Great machines with plenty to choose from. Everyone will have something that they'll find enjoyable. Just stay away from the music games unless you are really into far east music :)

Gameworks is a shell of what it once was. Now it's full of games in various states of disrepair, burnt out monitors, and completely dead games. To top it off it's overpriced for a game card. The mid $37 card seems like it should be good for a good hours of play at least but it'll barely last 30 minutes with the high ticket cost of games. Probably would've been cheaper to go to Disneyland for the day. The bar, waitstaff, chicken wings and bar pretzel might be it's only saving grace.

The first GameWorks I visited was in Miami, and that location was prime. The Seattle location seems out of place and lacks many upgrades making most of the gaming options outdated or simply janky. Back in the day, SEGA Sami owned the rights, then it was sold and downhill it gradually went. The downstairs (first floor) bar added some much needed atmosphere, though, it took away some gaming real state.

My girlfriend and I love coming here to let off some steam enter a reality of joy. Beyond that, we've found that Gameorks? wing game is competitive and at the top of our list. I had so so much fun! Lots of different games and different styles of games *shooter games, VR, dance dance* a bit of everything for every one! Very family friendly and the food was delicious! So were the drinks, the bartender was great and very informative on drinks and tastes so I wasn't stuck with something i didn't like *which tends to happen if I try something new*. I had my first fried green tomato too and that was mind blowing!

I took my little brother and about 8 of his friends here for my brothers 18th birthday. I had a Groupon which cut the cost in half, but even for an arcade the prices were not that outrageous, as arcades and such usually are. I've been coming here since 2019, the year when I first visited Seattle, WA. Lots of good new games and the old ones like Ghost Squad which is my favorite one. The service is great too, and had a good pint they serve in the adult area. Overall, this place is still and will always be the best!

I went here pre-covid. I would have given it 2-3 stars then. Many machines were broken but were still permitted to take my money. I did not go again for many years. Apparently the management has changed since then. There are now very few broken machines, which were all disabled as far as I could tell. I forgot my card there and went the next day to retrieve it. They were *extremely* on it. My card was stored in their safe overnight. They verified my identity properly before handing it over. Excellent work

There are groupon discounts prior to entering, the prizes are diverse and possibly due to PAX West happening at the time, the prizes reflected anime and comic diversity. There's VR, computer time with preloaded games, the normal arcade games you'd expect, and access to food and drink. Overall a really good time, alone or with a group.

Hosted a birthday party here; they did a great job of helping us figure out what, when and how to pull it off. We were able to get time cards for the attendees that let them play games for the time of the party but not the games that awarded prizes or prize points. Apparently, without a party, you can only get time-based cards on Thursday.

I came here because they're the venue for smash bros tournaments, and they provide a really nice room stocked with monitors. Venue fee is reasonable, and I'm happy with that. Why 3 stars? The food was a so dissapointing! $20 before tax/tip for a Game Burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was charred and lacking flavor. The fries were not hitting. I ate like half of it, and friends did about the same. When I ate there a few months ago it was ok, but yikes it tanked in quality.

So get this, game works doesn't sell pizza. Why? They're afraid they'll sell too much pizza!! That's right. It went out of business 2 years ago but thinks a great business model is to not sell pizza during conventions. You gotta really try to be this bad

SO much fun every time. Played Saber Beats on the VR for the first time and it was so much stinking fun. Wish I could get my kid to stop the claw games which are 3x as expensive but we both had a great time!

Our now 8-year-old had his birthday party at GameWorks. We were initially a little trepidatious with a gang of children run amok. But the facilities were easy to navigate and the staff were great. GameWorks offers unlimited game passes, which were a huge hit!

Just went today. As soon as you enter there is a place to buy cards. I thought I paid $50 dollars for 4 cards but instead I paid 200 for 1200 on four cards. Fun games, super clean, and friendly staff! We went with kids during the day, and we all had fun. My kiddo was stoked to have won an Elmo from the claw machine. I enjoyed the classic skee ball. Looks like it would be a fun place with adults in the evening too as they have a 21+ bar area as well.

This is a two-story arcade right in the middle of Seattle! The games are incredibly well taken care of, everything felt and looked clean, and there's tons of selection. The prizes are adorable, too! The game cards are easy to get, fill, or check the tickets! The cost of credits is really good, too! I remember coming here maybe 20 years ago? New, updated games but the same, child-like wonder!
