Customer Reviews

GameWay was absolutely amazing! I played for 30 minutes before my flight and I had a thrill of a time, and don't get me started about Leon. He was very helpful and overall a really cool dude. I highly recommend!

Really helpful and friendly staff. No wait. Clean and great selection of games to play while waiting for your flight. Snacks and beverages available while you play.

Dude working register here was so chill. Got the hr pass and played some fifa during my layover home.

Had a pleasant time playing. Many gaming options. Priority Pass members will really enjoy this during long layovers. Great staff.

It's ok. Most of the games here are heavy games. What I mean by that is they take several hours to get into it, many bogged down by stories and even further by familiarizing with the controls. A game like call of duty, which has dozens of menus was very confusing and hard to play. A story driven game like Spiderman has 30 minutes of story before you even start the game. They do help you if you ask and they also have simpler games on a Nintendo switch or old school super Nintendo. With that being said I paid

Very friendly and helpful staff, it's my first time here and not sure how it works; the staff here give me a brief intro and give us all we needed. I was shocked since I didn't google it up before the trip. But now I can tell people who will read this: it's 1 free drink + 2 free snacks for all Priority Pass member and up to 5 people per pass. Different location has different rules, better check before you go there. And this location is on Terminal E, right by Gate E16.

Amazing place to spend your time, George and Hagan are great workers. Highly recommend anyone come and check them out!

Regina was fantastic, super friendly and helpful in getting me set with everything. Doesn't disrupt you and allows you to really dive into the experience to allow time to slip away all while relaxed in a comfy chair and a nice HyperX headset. I'm a Xbox guy myself so it took some getting used to, an idea would be to switch to Xbox so you can utilize Xbox game pass which has hundreds of huge titles on there for free. None the less it was a exceptional experience, i definitely wouldn't mind a lengthy layover

Sydney is the BEST! This was my first time visiting and trying out GameWay since I had a few hours to spare before my flight. Sydney was so helpful, kind, and practical. All ages from adults to little kids came through to see how the gaming area worked and she explained everything so smoothly and in such a friendly way. This is more significant since her equipment was not working correctly - she was a pro regardless! All the customers were so generous and polite too - I can't wait to go back. The experience

Great place to stay to kill some time. I went to here for the first time last weekend and was greeted with great service and the guys working there were very patient. I own a PlayStation my self so I went to one and I was not expecting there to be so many games also the headphone were great quality as well. I started up Fortnite, not sure what to expect and there was an account and everything ready to go also there were a few cosmetics in the game locker which I found cool. I started a game after adjusting

Best place ever!!! My coworker and I had huge flight delays, so we met up at Gameway. We ended up gaming for a few hours. The time FLEW by. The worker was super helpful and friendly. I told him that we will come see him and game next time we are in Dallas for work! Great selection of games. In a PERFECT world- as a PC gamer who uses m&k, I wish they had PC?s. but I understand that there probably isn't the space of money for that!

Gameway was a lifesaver at the Dallas Fort Worth Airport. Our flight kept getting delayed and we had a restless six year old that was already over the long day of travel. Gameway was a safe and fun place to keep him distracted and keep his mind off the delays. They had great snacks and drinks and the staff was very friendly.

Priority pass clearly says visit is for 2 hours, but was kicked out after 1. When I showed the employee on PP website that it clearly said two hours; she said that her manager states that it is only 1 hour for PP and that there is "nothing she can do". Yes you can...you can allow an extra hour. Was still charged for one full visit by PP. Nice selection of games but a few required an account to be created (inc email verification etc) wasting valuable time. Should ensure that all games are playable and ready

awesome idea and a great way to kill time! but the price is absurd, $26 for an hour of gaming. it's daylight robbery. not worth it at all, taking advantage of people who have delays etc. if it was cheaper it would be a great addition to the busy airport

Made a pretty crappy situation with a super delayed flight much more manageable with the help of Josh. Came over hoping for PCs but unfortunately only PS5/XBox 1 so almost walked away. Josh was super helpful and mentioned that there were ways to learn and enjoy the system. He showed me the ropes and suggested some games which made my time fly past. Shoutout to the effort in making sure I could enjoy my experience!

Customer experience is very bad during checkin for priority pass. Brandon on E16 was the person handling customer experience. Looks like snacks are handed off only during checkin and not once u take the seat

Better place to kill time than a lounge. Usually no waiting line. For Priority Pass you also get one drink and one snack for free. However not the best deal if you are paying on site.

Great place great time, Haegan was outstanding. Great place to hang till flight.

Nostalgic game time! Free game play if you're drinking beers. Win win. Jasmine hooked it up and tolerated my child-like giddiness as I reminisced about Super Mario Bros... To the dude who said he'll never pay $26 for an hour of games again-- I spent $16 for 2 beers and an hour of games.... get with the old school games bro. They're fun and challenging in a different way. Thanks again Jasmine and Gameway! I needed that fun break after a hard week.

Kairi Big K is extremely nice and courteous. This gaming experience is a must try especially when you have kids and have few hours till boarding. Thank you SO MUCH BIG K!!!!!! ??

They were so nice and very helpful.

Good selection of games available to play between flights

We had an 8 hour layover here, and were so excited to see this place. Super comfortable, super friendly staff, and a good selection of games to play. Made our layover bearable. Big thanks to Christian and Josh for being so kind to us!!

We were able to use this lounge with our priority pass cards and it was a real treat for our kids. The employee running the place was super helpful and friendly! Sometimes the controllers wouldn't work but he was there willing to help reconnect them. One suggestion I would share is the employees really need a stool that they can use to get off their feet when it's slow but still be there at the checkin counter and be attentive to customers. It would do a lot for keeping employee morale up and prevent less t

I had a delayed flight in Charlotte, NC, so I just went to Gameway. Played for five hours nonstop. Absolutely amazing setup, and also the place was really clean. 100% would recommend to people with long layovers. I hope we see more branches in other airports!

Always the best customer service and a genius way to spend our time at the airport

Great place to hang while you wait.

Paid for an hour, but the Internet went down 10 minutes in. Couldn't get a refund. Don't waste your money.

Gentleman named Zion helped me and my kiddos. Had a delayed flight and was super stressed, he made the process super easy and calming, and even beat my sons in couple games haha Great place will visit again! Thanks Gameway!

I've played for 2hrs and Left my wallet their, tried to call them and left them voicemail, I then visited them on my way back to Dallas and the assistant manager informed me that they found in and they hand it over to the lost and found. After calling the L&F and the police department at the DFW, they both confirmed that nothing has been given to them, I kept calling them and visited them after 7 days to talk to the manager who informed me that they found it but then lost it again. I've asked them to look a

Game way & Victoria (employee) have made me & my sons 5 hour layover go by so quick!! Victoria was here to help with any questions, kept this place spotless & kept this momma occupied with good convo! She is awesome & so is this spot! Again, the only reason we stopped was because of how clean it was! I'm totally impressed! Thanks Victoria & Gameway for the entertainment!!

Stopped by because we had PriorityPass, and they are on the list. We just grabbed drinks and snacks, but the place was really nicely set up for gaming and staff was very welcoming.

Confusing review as location is mapped to terminal b but described as e. Terminal B was great, lady there was helpful and games on PS were all current. Great seats, snacks, and drinks, nice place to relax. Terminal E location trash. Swiped my card then said oh hey we're closed in 8 minutes when it was only going to be 8 PM. Are closing times varying here or actually 930?

Really fun and chill place to hang out and play games while waiting on a flight. Jayson was super helpful and went out of his way to set stuff up for us. Will definitely be back.

It's a little pricey, but after your zillionth hour staring at a ?delayed? sign, it's worth every penny. Very friendly staff, good game selection (even for us Old People), and a great way to kill a little time.

Catching an early morning flight and wanted to check in with Priority Pass to grab a drink and snack. Employee was rude, told me he wasn't open yet and made a big show of wandering around turning in TVs. Once he started counting his drawer, penny by penny, I gave up and walked back across the terminal to board. Maybe pay your employees to get there early enough to be open on time? I really hate that Gameway is often the best option for Priority Pass at DFW.

I had a four hour wait at the airport and I loved every minute I spent at Gameway. Great easy set-up and comfortable seats, private and a place to put my bags. Lots of games to choose from - I recommend

Dec 31, 2018 I missed my flight & had to wait 9 hours till the next flight so after I finished crying I wondered around the airport & came across Game Way. My day was saved & spirits lifted! At Game Way, for a fee you can play 23 of the latest video games on Xbox live in front of a nice size flat screen while you sit in a comfortable leather chair with a headset to block out all the airport noise. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at GameWay! This is a great idea & fun way to kill time. I hope to see it at more

the definition of taking your job too seriously. i walked in to a completely empty space literally not one customer. i am away on business and all restaurants are packed so i asked if i could sit for a moment without playing a game and before the young man could answer me an employee by the name of jay refused me access and stated it was required to play a game.. given your location and pay grade lol it's never that serious so on customer service alone i wouldnt recommend regardless of the gaming.

Kairi was amazing super helpful and great help with my 6 year old. Really made the wait at the airport sooo much better. He had amazing customer service and was very sweet and approchable

Great concept and execution. Shout out to the amazing courteous staff that goes above and beyond.

Me and my friends flight got delayed and we found GameWay to kill some time. Jason was really helpful and made the experience ten times better.

Great idea for an airport. Comfortable chairs, polite and friendly staff, good condition TV's and consoles and a good range of snacks.

I came to the Dallas airport today and came across a wonderful lady name Victoria who helped me with all my questions was very nice. Me and my husband played a game and anytime we are in this airport will definitely be back because of her she was a wonderful person . The game system was update chairs was nice loved this place thank you ??

Had a super delayed flight, the customer service was fantastic and the connection on the game was great. 100% recommend to any gamers.

went to gameway and it was an absolutely amazing experience. didn't have the best experience with delta, after seeing gameway and a tremendous employee, Bimwa, my day went from bad to amazing. Bimwa helped me out and made my experience entertaining and very exciting. If i?m in dallas again i will definitely go to gameway again!

Magically stumble upon this place, after my flight was delay for 4 hours,I bought the day pass thinking I would play world of warcraft until my flight...do not purchase this if ur planning to stay over 2 hours, because yes their so called 'day pass is not a day pass..false advertisement to get u to buy..it's 26 dollars per hour and u will be paying hourly..I don't understand why someone would operate their business like this..modern day swindlers..Day Pass meaning-a voucher or ticket once purchase allows u (c

Jayson did amazing job and really feel like we belong here. I felt like I was at home. I will definitely come back here again

the lounge was very clean, game choices were outstanding. Friendly staff, Kyrie was more than helpful ??, with a great smile

Very helpful to a beginner. Spent an enjoyable hour while waiting for connection at DFW. Sampled 3 PS4 games. Thanks, Sue.

He was closing the place down at 7:02 PM, when it clearly states they are opened till 8:00 PM.

Priority pass: this place is always closed or about to close. I was here at 7:40 pm and was told that they were closed. When asked what time they close they said 8:00 pm ( confused ..so were we ).. I have experienced the same situation last time too

Cool place and cooler staff, Jayson was very accommodating and turned our delayed flight into an enjoyable experience

This place is real chill sue took good care of us while our flight was delayed 10/10

Michael was great, he showed me around and didn't pressure me into buying anything. Great addition to the airport!

Always an amazing experience with gameway! Great employees and a great atmosphere to enjoy some games before you take off!

Arrived at 5:00 and waited 20 mins today. This place was still not open. A 5 min delay I can understand but 20 mins and no one is even there setting up? Annoyed.

Very clean, and very friendly/helpful staff, they have multiple types of consoles! So glad i found this spot (B42)

Played video games at gameway after I had a huge layover. Luckily Bimwa was an amazing employee and helped me out and made my layover entertaining and better.

Pretty nice staff and very cool experience! Wish they'd list the prices online though, just so we know ahead of time

Awesome to have priority pass, play free for 2 hours, 1 free drink and 2 snacks. Passes the time between flights!

Reach 4.43 PM. They deny you. Even when close at 5. Not so great experience. Ask water - denied. Great. Never visiting again!

Service was great, Sue helped us out a lot!

Nice place and nice people but I will never pay $26 for 1 hour ever again. What a joke

Really neat setup. Large displays and the area is clean and tidy. I fear that some people may miss their flights though.

Giselle helped me out, they have amazing deals, and plenty of games to choose from!

Cool games. Attendant was super nice! Thank you!!!

Awesome add on for long layovers. Priority Pass accepted here = free gaming for cardholders

Victoria take care of us pretty outstanding, our first time here and she explained everything excellent.

Kyrie was awesome! Super cool and funny! Super fun time!

Visited gameway and Bimwa helped me enjoy a great time. Gameway is a wonderful place to visit didn't regret at all!

Nice place to chill for an hour or two. Staff was nice and friendly.

Customer experience is very bad during check in , really unfriendly staff

Super cool place to play while waiting to board your flight

Got in for free for 1h with priority pass, loved it!

Only spent an hour there but it was nice and cozy, with plenty of games to choose from !

Friendly person, huge variety of snacks ??

Great customer service from Kairi I think that's his name. Thank you Kairi?????

Good fix for the serious gamer who needs a place to keep his skills sharp on the way to a tourney!

Great way to spend time while stranded in the airport for a bit!!!!! Very highly recommended experience!!!

Overpriced. They'd get a lot players if they dropped pricing even 20pct

really polite and convenient.

Pretty cool spot to chill, just needs Xbox systems haha

eh not as cool as on the priority pass app made it seem

It says the close at 930 but hey closed at 7pm ?our closing times vary?. Please.

The workers are very friendly, it's just really overpriced to be fair..

Awesome if you have a long layover!

A great way to pass the time while waiting.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
