We had a few hours to spare before our red-eye flight out of LAX Terminal 6, so we decided to check out Gameway?and it did not disappoint! The space is spotless, modern, and packed with high-tech gaming setups. We played some Fortnite, enjoyed a drink and a snack, and had an all-around great time. Huge shoutout to Ryan for the friendly and excellent service?he truly made the experience even better. If you have Priority Pass, this spot is a must. Easy 5/5 stars!
GameWay is $28 for an hour of gaming time. They have PS5 & XBox. No Switch Systems or Nintendo systems of any sort. My Son loves Astrobot and they did have the 1st Astrobot Game but not the 2nd one. This was well worth the money spent as it kept my 9 year old Son occupied for an hour of our wait and he had so much fun in the comfy chair with the big screen playing video games. Overall great experience!
Awsome place to burn a hour or 2 at terminal 3. Richard took great care of me when I had very mild computer issues. Thanks Richard for making my day! Delayed flights suck, but gaming is great is between, and you made sure I was good to go, your the best!
Stumbled on this place on the way to our gate. Had about 45 minutes to kill so we stopped in and it was so awesome. The staff was super cool and helpful, even letting us chill for a few extra minutes since our boarding was just over the 30 minute mark that they charge by. Just a really sick environment I wish we had at our home airport because I'd actively get to the airport earlier just to go here
This was a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the airport. We were able to spend about an hour playing some games. While being engaged in the games, the atmosphere of the room helps you forget that you're even in LAX. Just don't miss your flight!!! The food and drinks here, however, are at the level of convenience store. So adjust your expectations appropriately. Safe travels!!
Richard was the best! I enjoyed my experience here. They were closing at 10pm and my flight wasn't leaving until midnight so he stayed open until 11 for us! Epic! They also had Kona Big Wave beers which were delicious.
Heading back from Disneyland with the kids and noticed Gameway at the LAX airport. Haven't seen a place like this before. Richard was very helpful at explaining how it worked. Kids loved the experience and Richard customer service was excellent. Will definitely look for this place at other airports.
My husband is a major PC Gamer and had a blast here waiting for our flight. It's pay by the hour and he said they had a decent selection of all the popular games you'd expect. You can store your bag there but not sure about food and drink. Depending on the games it might even be fun for non gamers!!
Richard made a tough red eye to Tampa awesome! I felt st home, comfortable, taken care of. He's a great guy, much appreciation! Best experience I've had in an airport.
We stopped at Gameway for 15 minutes and accidentally left an expensive music instrument there. The store manager, a young man from Thailand, ran around all nearby gates, found us and returned the instrument to us, right before we were about to board the flight. His act of kindness has save us trouble, stress and money. We'd like to thank him and recommend a visit to this shop. They have PCs, PS5 and Xboxes, snacks and drinks.
Love the convenience and setup, nice break and fun gaming environment. Service is amazing! Shout out to Richard. Despite it being 7am and short staff, the guy went out of his way to help and gave me a wonderful start to my trip. Much appreciated
Went to the one in terminal 3 because it was on priority pass- was honestly so enjoyable and fun! Darnell was incredibly friendly. Will definitely be back!
This was so awesome! I was greeted by an employee named Izzy who was very warm and welcoming. I do love gaming, but do not own anything besides a Nintendo Switch Lite. With Gameway, I was FINALLY able to play a PS5 for the first time which was so exciting for me. Will definitely be coming back whenever I see one at an airport.
Amazing concept and an absolutely fantastic idea. Richard and Darnell were super welcoming and accommodating. It was a great way to pass the time while waiting for where my flight.
This was my first time. I went to this place becuase my Priority Pass provides the free access. The computer is good. You have options on PC/Xbox/PlayStation. I can log in World of Warcraft well, even though my account is in Taiwanese server.
Jr was great! He is very kind and helpful. He made this a fun experience for my son. Thank you Jr, very much appreciate it!
Only lounge you can get into with priority pass. They have comfy chairs, and nice big screens if you like to play video games. Staff was very helpful. I don't play but was allowed to go in and try to play whatever I can. The only food available are some chips and a few drinks. Energy drinks not included. Pistachios not included so that was a bummer. I wish there were more options as fast as snacks.. even if it's regular water instead of Topo Chico and Dasani caned water. It was a fun hour either way.
Seriously epic. Great location. Great set up. Great gear. I have two teens and a three hour wait. Nuff said. X box. Play station. Preloaded or log into account. Snacks and drinks included with priority pass. The staff were knowledgeable and courteous.
I was disappointed with the Priority Pass options at LAX, but I saw this "experience", and I had to go and check it out. I have never gone to a gaming lounge before, and this - if small - blew me away. So with PP, you are entitled to 1 hour of free gaming on whatever systems were free. They had PCs, XBoxs, and PS5s from what I could tell. In addition, you are also entitled to 1 chips bag, and a drink (minus the energy drinks). They also noted that Amex PP members were not eligible for this experience. The
Had good experiences in the past. Clean environment and usually not packed. Unfortunately, it was not open after 6am today when I wanted to grab a drink and snack. I stuck around for a bit but eventually had to catch my flight ??
Terrible experience, the worker was unfriendly, all the time speak really loud with his coo-worker. Never said welcome or hello, can I help you. He was rude, all the time was yawn many times. He show didn't like we were there. They received their friends in side the store and they were speak and play next to my daugther, she is a teenager and that was uncomfortable. That experience was February 16th from 6 to 7 pm.
Amazing experience! Richard is the man, very upbeat, knowledgeable and seems to thoroughly enjoy being there. Appreciate the service!!
Hi! I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at the Gameway in Los Angeles Airport. Upon arriving, I was warmly greeted by a kind and professional employee who took the time to explain everything to me. I was impressed with his willingness to assist me throughout my visit. I paid for an hour and decided to split my time between a Nintendo and PS5. When I wanted to switch to another seat, I encountered the manager who unfortunately was not as pleasant as the employee who greeted me. The manage
This place literally was an answer to our prayers. Our flight was delayed and we were stuck at the airport for 12 hours. We bought a full day pass to play games and it was worth every penny! Staff was the nicest people we have met in CA thus far. They let me take one of the spots to take a nap and it really made this nightmare of a situation turn around to an enjoyable day. These guys get what customer service is all about and we greatly appreciate you guys for your hospitality and kindness.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Game Way in Los Angeles during a layover, and I must say, it was an amazing experience! This place is a gamer?s paradise, equipped with an impressive selection of PS5 and PC games. The vast variety kept me entertained for hours ? there's truly something for everyone here! The environment is welcoming, but what really stood out to me was the incredible staff. The employees are honestly some of the sweetest and most helpful people I've ever encountered in a gaming cent
Employee was super friendly. Area was well maintained and kept clean. Good spot to spend some time while you wait.
Used PriorityPass, (from US Bank Altitude Connect) and was able to use 2 of my free passes for me and my guest. Place was decent, I wouldn't say it's a crazy good experience or anything. The PCs had like 25 games installed on steam. A decent variety of online shooters and such. Though I question how often the keyboards get clean. They expect you to eat while playing so I'm afraid to think of how dirty those are. My only real disappointment is that there was no attempt made by the staff to make sure we got
Pretty awesome way to spend 5 hours at the airport. Only worth it if you have a lot of time to kill and get the daily rate ($46) otherwise it's too expensive. They have starcraft2!! :)
This is the only place Priority Pass can be used at Terminal 6. Friendly and helpful staff. 1 hour use of game/TV console to relax. 1 drink and snack included.
Really fun way to kill some time at the airport! The staff are super friendly and the snack selection is top notch. They have great gaming setups and comfy chairs.
Great service and cleanliness, we were greeted by their best employee, Blue! Would absolutely visit again.
Pretty cool location with nice refreshment! I am not a gamer but the staff kindly showed me how to play! :) Twas a bit of fun time while waiting for the flight ??
This is a fine Gameway location. I love the escape that being able to play video games for a little while in the airport provides. While it's not cheap to play, I like to use my priority task to give me access for an hour along with a snack and a drink. When I happened through this particular location they had already closed down the gaming for the evening, but they were still allowing people to purchase snacks or drinks. Maybe they were letting people finish up their hour of game time? I'm not sure. On a d
Vincent was amazing! He helped me with Ghost of Tsushima on the PS5... Best graphics & sound ever. Thank you Priority Pass from Chase Visa for the free 1 hour play.
Sad priority pass with Venture X didn't just give me free gaming. Good drinks. Game was great, good PC. Be mindful of startup time since it takes 10-20 minutes to settle in and update stuff. Some keyboards and mice were rebound which is annoying. Should add VM to completely isolate each session. Glad to play Valorant one more time in my life right before my flight. Had quit for about three years.
Great way to kill time while waiting for a flight, highly recommend!!!
Although not much of a gamer, Kat (full name Katlan) made me feel real welcome, and like I was an honored guest here. She made for a real first class experience, and I will be coming back!
Really want to give props to the associate Darren at terminal 6. He really went above and beyond the call of duty to deliver an experience like no other. This was my first time experiencing this service but I am very happy to say that because of Darren?s great attitude and willingness to help, expect my patronage for many years to come! Thank you again Darren you are the GOAT and I implore anyone with time before flights at LAX to check this out!
Cool spot to pass time during a layover or flight delay. $25 for 1 hour or $45 for unlimited. There are multiple game console types with a wide array of PC games including StarCraft 2!
I have actually started looking forward to flying out of terminal 6 because of this Gameway. Great experience and the priority pass perks are awesome. Edit: just realized I accidentally put 4 stars total instead of 5 and this is definitely a 5 star for me.
Went here for priority pass! You get one snack (candy, chips) nuts are not included and one drink (energy drink omitted)! Clean if you want to play games but if you want to do work no area for that
The staff was excellent. They were very friendly and helpful without hovering. Good snack and drink options. All the gaming equipment looked nice and everything I used worked well. Priority pass worked with no issues.
So sad I didn't get the name of the worker at the gameway terminal 3 this evening at around 9:00 PM. He honestly made the start of our vacation so much better with his great energy and amazing service. I'm not normally a fan of places like this, but I'm definitely coming back here to see if he'll be around next time I travel. This guy deserves a raise!!
The gentleman of the register was very nice and explanatory. Would definitely recommend to stop by.
Best gaming lounge!. Isauro helped me out a lot
Update/Reply: Not asking for airport announcements to be played in headphones. The request was for a speaker in the GameWay store, just like every restaurant in the airport. To clarify further, parents are sometimes watchimg their children and their luggage. Speakers would help with that higher level of customer service. Original: Stopped in for an hour of play with my son. Staff was courteous, but found out the hard way that they have no paging system to hear airport information because they have to beg f
Update (August 2024): this review is for the Gameway in Terminal 3 *not* the one in Terminal 6. This Gameway is located next to Gate 30A. If you receive Priority Pass through Chase (not Amex or CapOne), you receive a complimentary 1 hour of gaming and a beer (no alcohol included at the T6 Gameway) or non-alcoholic drink + snack. AFAIK, this is the only PP "lounge" in LAX (yes, there are 2 Be Relax spas). While there isn't a bathroom in here, it is a lot less chaotic than by the gates. Drink and snack sele
If you have a Priority Pass, then Gameway is your only option for a lounge in terminal six. Priority Pass will get you access to one hour of free gaming one beverage and one snack. The staff is very helpful and it's a good way to pass thetime. Energy drinks are excluded.
Hours online state open until 10pm, I arrived at 8:50pm with Priority Pass in hand. Staff member says they're closing at 9:00 and can't seat me. So, I ask for the snack included with Priority Pass before I go and he says that his point of sale system is shut down and he can't do anything for me. Stores should never shutdown before it closes its doors. Any cool video game setup can never make up for terrible customer service.
Nick was very polite, friendly, and informative. I decided to play retro gaming on their NES style consoles. Enjoyed 30 min for $6. Great way to pass the time before boarding my flight since I got there early. They also have online gaming PCs available to use for a higher fee. I only wanted to play some Dr. Mario but ended up playing Super Mario World, Metroid, and Kirby. Thanks for a fun first experience ??
A great place to spend some time while waiting for your flight. Plenty of games to choose from, you can charge your devices, plus super friendly staff. Excellent service! Fully recommended also for parents with kids who need a bit of quiet time while kids play. :)
This place is amazing - I wish there were more in airports around the world. Super friendly staff, well kept consoles. A great way to spend an hour or two while waiting for a flight. Loved it!
Was surprised to find a gaming place in the middle of the airport terminal. Went in to check it out as I just landed from an international flight. The place has a lot of options for games and beer priced at $10. You can't really beat that when the same thing cost $18 right across from them. They were also super helpful as my sim card was stuck in my phone and they helped me get it out. Thanks again guys!
Bad service. It was still 10 minutes to closing and the person at the register refused to serve us. He said he was closing soon and was about to close the register. So what I gathered was that it wasn't closed yet, and it takes 30 seconds to ring something up--we just wanted to get snacks and drinks. When I asked if we could just get something real quick since they don't close until 10, he said he usually closes early.
I was stuck with my 2 sons (11 and 8) and the guys at gameway were sooo cool to let hang out and eventually gave us 2 all day passes at employee price. Bryn and collin is a prime example of how to treat customers. Being cool to people goes a long way. Hope you're having a great day. Thanks Gameway
Stopped in with Priority Pass for 1 hour of free gaming, 1 snack, and 1 drink. ??
Had a good experience through Priority Pass. I played Ghost of Tsushima and had a lot of fun because I don't have a ps5 at home. Staff were friendly and everything was well organized.
My wife and I passed by this store and we knew that we could get a drink and a snacks for free if we have a SCB card that participates in loungekey program. My wife wanted to get a complimentary drink and snacks but the receptionist worker asked us to take 2 instead. We have double confirmed that no additional charge would be applied but ended up my wife's credit card is charged by around USD 30. We are very disappointed with the misleading statement provided by the receptionist worker and the additional dr
GO HERE when you are in the LAX airport. Mostly for gamers, Gameway is the best place to play video games while in a airport. Play on a computer, playstation, or Xbox. So fun, the best gaming spot in an airport. The workers are nice, and they even give snacks so you don't stay hungry. Go to LAX, and make sure to stop by GAMEWAY!
I handed the attendant our two credit cards (me and my wife Julia), which each have separate free/unlimited entry to the Key lounge. The Attendant made some mistake and must have used the two entries on the same card, resulting in an entry being charged on my invoice. Now I have to file multiple claims and have a massive headache.Feet
Came here to use my priority pass benefit for a 1 hour of free gaming. Unfortunately I was told this benefit couldn't be used as all the stations available were for "paying customers" only, despite having 4+ stations free when I went. I did get a free drink, but this was hardly worth the walk
Beware of possible credit card fraud. I went in to grab a quick snack and water before boarding my flight out of state. My credit card info was skimmed and used at various places around Los Angeles while I was in another state.
Priority pass access for 1 hour video game and a free beer or other options. Perfect place to decompress and play some video games. Swing by if you have priority pass.
This place is pretty nice and has quite a few stations for you to relax and play some games and have some snacks. Do not go off of what priority pass as the times are, as priority pass at this place open at 5 AM. This place actually only opens up at 6 AM.
Comfortable place to grab a beer at the airport. Includes priority pass. Nice staff and environment. Would come back ????
Nice, clean little lounge for gamers. Also not insanely expensive paying bout $20 per hour Will for sure be returning.
This is a serious location!! Great Set up, awesome people. Cant wait to go back! Priority pass members get a free snack and drink too. First experience was EPIC!
I have tried to go to Gameway twice in the last 2 weeks, both times they were closed by 9pm. The hours definitely have to be updated.
Staff, Equipment, Connection was great. I played on an Xbox. $26 for 1 hour, or $40 to play until they close at 9:30pm. They allow food and drink.
Paid... for time to sit at the bar, then was told there's no working wifi. Also, Capital one removed support for this place priority pass for VentureX...not going back.
Fun times, blue is super friendly
lol I love this game cafe and it's chill and diversity. one in burbank bunch of Armenians power tripping
Refusing customers after making them scan the priority pass. I got notifications that my priority pass scanned. They are reserving several seats for ?paying customer?, asked us to wait for 5 seats to be free for priority pass customers, we waited; then they refused access after scanning the card.
Nice friendly workers who informed me priority pass that's part of American Express and Capitol one card holders are excluded from benefits. Can't fault Gameway for that.
Gaming with your favorite console, portable console, retro console and PC games before your next flight, yes please! The person showed me around to the different options, like a gaming concierge.
Pretty nice to be able to play some halo before a flight
Super clean. All game consoles available including PC. A must visit for any gamer.
the place is new and staff seems nice. But be aware if you have PP through AM they do not accept it here.
Friendly staff, great service, good selection of drinks and snacks!
Got the rudest guy on shift today 8:30 PM Thursday night, even tried to get some of the other customers involved, none would have anything to do with it
Wanna pass some quick time snacks and video games are the answer before your next flight
Best way to wait for my flight
A little pricey, but a cool setup. Enjoyed an hour here gaming alongside my son.
It's a nice place to relax while waiting to fly.
Chill place with very fun staff!
Great Priority Pass benefit. Clean, snacks, and nice service.
Had Pok?mon cards and hot chips; just what I wanted.
Great customer service and made an effort to get to know me.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
