GameTime Fort Myers

GameTime Fort Myers

Reviews Summary

Game Time offers a mixed experience with strong praise for friendly staff (especially servers and bartenders) and good food, but frequent complaints about malfunctioning arcade games, poor credit refund policies, and inconsistent service. Many appreciate the family-friendly atmosphere and promotions, while others criticize long wait times, broken machines, and unresponsive management. High ratings highlight excellent service and enjoyable visits, while low ratings focus on technical issues, billing problems, and cleanliness concerns. The arcade is fun when systems work, but operational flaws and customer service gaps frustrate guests.

Customer Reviews

I had such a great time at GameTime in Fort Myers! My boyfriend surprised me with a visit there and it was an amazing experience. You load a card with credits and can use it to play all kinds of arcade games ? either solo or competing against each other. There are so many different games and activities to choose from, and at the end, you can redeem your collected points for fun prizes. Everything was super colorful, exciting, and well-organized. We had a blast and would absolutely come back again. Highly

My kids love this place they really enjoyed playing in some of the games together and winning points which they can later exchange for prizes. It is nicely kept and the staff is really friendly and helpful. The cards can be reloaded at a different visit and accumulate the points for a bigger prize. Really fun filled place that my kids enjoy a lot.

The every day of the week happy hour, which is half off all bottles and cocktails is great. The arcade games are super expensive and the prizes are cheap compared to how much you will spend. I love arcades, but only come here if you think experiences are more important than money spent. Bar staff was nice as well.

Came in last minute with a crowd of about 50, Todd was the absolute man in getting us hooked up with a private area and they had half price drinks! Tremendous service and food was great, 90% of their food is made from scratch. Absolutely great place and will be back, thanks!

We went there for the first time. What a disaster! Four of us and we ordered drinks and food at the same time. My friend got his beer in ten minutes and my wife got her water with lemon. We waited and waited for the other two drinks so finally I went inside and spoke to our server. I told her we were still waiting for the other two drinks and she said the bartender had just told her he was making them. By this time forty minutes had already passed. I went back out to our table and our food had just arrived.

A+ experience. Great time always. Frequent flyer here- owner is really nice and friendly- as is all staff. The bartender is my favorite in the area - Sean is the best!!!

When we walked in to the restaurant - we weren't sure if the food would be any good. Only a few people in there and it's inside the arcade- game place. Our food was totally yummy! Pizza, yet greasy, was scrumptious! Also had burgers and onion rings- all raves about the food! drinks were great! Sav blanc & cab wines- nice pours- cocktail with Jameson was yumm! Server Chris was fast, attentive & friendly! Great deal was where you could pick something off the menu with an icon and you got a $20 game card! Th

Pretty dope place to go for 26.99 you can get specific meals and a game card to play. The bartender was super personalable and great at explaining everything thoroughly. The games and food area were both being serviced by technicians so certain games and food weren't available. That didn't stop our fun though. If need a quick game time I highly recommend this place. It was relaxing and fun.

New menu was fabulous. Highly recommend this place for a fun family time of games and food. They have a huge selection of drinks a available. Playground and mall directly outside their door.

Came here for my daughter?s birthday. DO NOT eat here. We waited nearly an hour for our food to come out and when it finally did it was mediocre at best. The largest pizza was 12 inches and 14.99 without any toppings. The cheese tasted funny and it was so oily. What a ripoff! Some food came cold and the burgers were gross. Lots of games there are out of order and a credit refund can take forever. The least they could do is put a sign on the broken games telling people not to use it because it doesn't work.

Leaving my wallet at Game Time turned out to be a distressing experience. On a busy Saturday afternoon, I was excited to enjoy the arcade games. After a couple of hours, I realized my wallet was missing. Panic set in as I retraced my steps and asked a worker for help. They seemed helpful at first but couldn't find it. Eventually, another patron found my wallet and returned it to the front desk. To my dismay, all the cash was gone. I confronted the worker, but they denied any involvement. This incident taugh

It was a great place, but not anymore now. New management that was not as nice as the old management, and to make matters worse, Danelle does not work here anymore. The new servers were nowhere near as nice as Danelle is. There is a default ice barrier between all strangers. And us regulars are turned off by that ice barrier. Other reviewers have reported issues with the new staff, so I'm siding with them and not coming back anymore, either, for what that new management has done is replaced Danelle's f

Over priced, when we took our nephew for the day, we decided after spending way too much for games, we would get pizza..... we got to witness the manager argue with and fire an employee..... I guess he wanted her to pay for a customers order because they skipped out on the tab..... very unprofessional. We won't be going back

Good place to celebrate a birthday! We celebrate my daughter's birthday here and the waitress and all staff in the restaurant were very attentive to us. We ordered 3 pizzas and lemonades everything taste good and delicious. You can get a card for 25 $ and allow to you play 1 hour in all ?rcade games with blue tag. My daughter enjoyed playing bowling with her 5 friends and it was for 100 cr?dits and they spent more than 30 min. I think it's good deal this place. They have many promotions and durind days of t

Great arcade for family fun. The Food was surprisingly good, and Dale was very attentive and friendly. Worth a night out!

Brought my daughter here on a Thursday afternoon to try the mini bowling, bought 3 2 hour passes and none of the bowling lanes were operating correctly almost of them out of order, the game floor was just awful, can't play half of the games with the hourly game play and then half of the ones we could play were out of order. Total waste of $120 and will not go back, was planning lunch here but between the way the place looked and everything so out of order we chose against it.

Good service at the bar but the sign for happy hour was up, asked about happy hour, obviously interested in happy hour, ordered thinking it was happy hour and then got the bill and was told that happy hour isn't on the day we went in even though the sign was up not indicating which days the happy hour was on.

Decent arcade, very clean and seems kept up well. Most but not all of the games were working. My husband has a game break on him and they weren't able to fix it and didn't refund the tokens. We mostly had a good time though. Like that you touch the cards to the front to play and that everything is kept track of on the cards. In general this was a fun area with a lot to walk around and do.

Annabelle and Sean are the best! Love them they always take amazing care of me and my husband we are here at least 3 times a week. Will be recommending to all my business friends. They are worth every visit! Thank you both

Perfect place to enjoy with the family friends or just stop for a beer, place is very safe for the kids everything is really clean the restaurant is big, burgera are excellent t there's a patio area so u can take a perfect break

This place is everything that is depressing about a kids' arcade. Many of the machines will take credits off a kids' card but will not deliver gameplay. We had to ask for manager intervention 4 separate times and we got tired of waiting for credit refunds. Of the 100 credits put on the card, probably 40 of them got fleeced off my kids. The manager was nice enough, but it was a distressing experience for my 9 year old especially.

We had a great time. There was a good variety of games for adults and the kids and we ended up playing for about 2 hours. The mini bowling was fun too. The restaurant was closed when we visited but it looked nice and the staff were all friendly. Would go back for another visit next time we're in town.

Madison was our server and she was very attentive and great customer service between entrees and drinks!!! Great job it's very hard to find great service like this now days.

My son had a great time! Service in the restaurant was not the best but we didn't really go there for the food?

Lots of hustles. If you get the timed package with kids meal, you earn no tickets during gameplay. The items you get for tickets are terrible. The staff is stressed and unfriendly. If a machine takes your coins, you have 30 minutes to report it to a manager or too bad. But it takes that long to even see a manager. Seen much better type places. IMO.

This was a wonderful place to hold our event. The food was awesome, service was fantastic, and it was clean and organized. If you're looking for a great place to go, check out GameTime!

Tasty food and drinks for a reasonable price! Purchased the food and card combo for $27. The transformer game left controller is a bit off. Highly recommend!

You better pay for the arcade within thirty seconds of walking in or you will be rudely interrupted by the staff I've been here before and had fine experiences, but in early december had the worst arcade experience in my life. There was nobody in the store on a sunday afternoon and the employees were just standing around. I walked in with a few college buddies to play air hockey for a few minutes and we stood by the air hockey table getting our stuff together and figuring out who would pay. I kid you not

Great time today with the kids! They played games and I relaxed in the restaurant :) the vintage bowling was a blast! And the best part? The day didn't cost me an arm and leg.... thanks!

Use to love this place, they changed management and he does nothing to help this place. Everything is always broken and the games they do work either don't have enough balls to win or it takes your money. We used to come all the time and until something changes we will never be back. This place will be out of business by the end of the year if something doesn't change. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! All the following images are th games that are broken, and this are just a few.

This placed reminded me of Dave & Busters. They had an eat and play deal we took advantage of. Food was good and the mango mojito was amazing. We had an hour of play which was just enough. Only complaint was that the prizes were on the high end.

First time here and wasn't as pricey as I heard it would be. They have a $16.99 deal to dine and play with a $15 game card. So you choose a meal and get a game card for $16.99. Not bad. They have happy hour during the week but we came on the weekend and drinks were not cheap. Definitely will be back, place is great for kids and adults. (Like if helpful)

Great place to have a blast with your toddler or husband and friends...packed with so many games just purchase like 20 tokens and they will last a little bit my son stays on the bowling game...food is expensive...staff do well at keeping place clean organized and fun!!!

They're currently going through a renovation. It looks like it's gonna be even fire experience. I love going here.

Sat. August 26th 2016 2pm to 5pm . I won't discredit anyones personal opinion but let me just explain OUR experience at Gametime. One, we were greeted right away within 5 seconds.(which is known to be a must do in a customer service aspect). Two, 15 bucks ALL YOU CAN PLAY. I personally don't care about winning tickets. It's the experience that counts for my kids. Three, 2 bud lights ,2 Heineken bottles and 2 kids drinks $14.31. WOW really, thats is CHEAP. Ulises the Bar tender was great ! Let's see..... i

Poor service. The games don't work. So we let the attendant know, but instead of giving us our few credits back, they try to troubleshoot it in front of us. So we're standing there while she's trying to figure it. She works on it for 5 minutes before we decide to walk away and find another game that works. And no, she didn't give us our credit back. Not coming back.

We used to really love this place when it first opened. It had great games that worked and were fair. Lately, the games don't work half the time and you never know if it takes your credits or not. The claw games are now impossible for the little kids to win prizes. We recently did the wheel spin to win tickets. We landed on the purple which is supposed to be a prize of 100 tickets but it only gave us 4 (for the green section). When I told a worker he said it had to be dead center to win 100. Well what's the

Yikes! They changed their menu (spoiler alert they removed all healthy or real meal options for cheap and fried) and no longer have sit down table service. Wont go back. The service was already going downhill.

We had another great experience in the bar Thursday evening. They have the best happy hour with ALL drinks half off. Along with that, they have the nicest staff! Manager came over and introduced himself and made us feel very welcomed. Bartenders are all friendly and make sure you are taken care of.

Great family fun, attended a kids party, very organized, friendly and helpful staff

Waste of time. Payed for timed play but almost every game is paid only. Go to Dave and Busters, so much better

Horrible experience. I will stick to Dave and Busters you get what you pay for here honestly. Hats off to the cook for the burger and the curly fries. Told the manager on duty on this date/time (2/18/23 around 9:25PM) and he gets defensive when we told him the mozzarella sticks were burnt. They were borderline black and not golden brown you would think an easy fix to remove from bill or replace. First thing out of managers mouth, ?that's the way the mozzarella sticks are?. After he sees we aren't going to

The food is good. Really, you have to try some of it. Is impressing. The arcade area is for kids of all ages which me and my family like. Only downside is you can only claim prizes with the points earned. But this is not something that makes the experience of spending time here nothing but great. Highly recommended.

This place is a ton of fun for kids and young adults! Great drinks and bar food too!

Took 3 of my son?s friends for his birthday. Thought I was purchasing 4 separate game cards with 100 credits each at kiosk. Paid $100. Received one card. Took card to girl at front desk and asked to split into 4 separate cards. Was told they could not do that. No problem told the boys they would have to share card which should have had over 400 credits on it. About 15 minutes later they come back and say the card was empty. I said no way you spent 400 credits already. Took card up to front desk to have the

Went 2 times and had a blast.... took home over 20 ducks to hand out to other jeepers.

It's really not bad it's fun a lot, better than any other arcade I've played in

Where do I start?we met some family here we haven't seen in a few years here before they went back home. We first ate dinner there was 5 adults and 5 kids was never told there would be an automatic gratuity put on the bill. I believe in tipping for good service but it took over an hour to get our food but here's the funny thing when our server started bringing out our food she only brought out so many at a time. It took almost 30 minutes for all of us to get our food after the hour being there. It was like

This place sucks! Expensive, arcades don't work.Staff is rude. Staff comes to work sick coughing everywhere. Family and I got really sick after coming here.

Good place to have fun, food is good but I waited 30 minutes for 2 waters and 1 lemonade, they sat for so long before reaching my table that all the ice melted, 2 waitresses for 7 tables and a party, sorry but you can't run a restaurant on a Saturday night with 2 waitresses. Management better get it together or you won't survive like this and the other tables have also been having issues with waiting.

This was a fun outing for us while we were in Florida on vacation. Lots of games to choose from.

Very expensive but lots of good games. It would be nice if there was a section for smaller kids

Hello, first I want to say this place it's great to come with my kids and I also want to thank a worker called Willy for his friendly and amazing server, he always helps us in the front desk in Spanish

Good food fun atmosphere. Great for familys.

The bartender was beyond rude and yelled at my sister while she was talking to another associate. The manager came over and apologized, did nothing more, and went over to talk to the bartender. I'm not sure if this is how this establishment is managed, but our experience was horrible. Didn't even stay to try and enjoy the night. I was too embarrassed after all the yelling. Poor customer service!

Had an amazing time thanks to Billy he really saved the day for me and my children I messed up and he helped me he was so friendly and explained what I did wrong we can't wait to go back

This place always delivers on its deals. You get what you pay for. Browse the promotions before you come in or you can browse them on the card kiosks. Employee interaction is limited. They won't check on you all the time because they're giving you space to do your thing, play games, and spend time with the people you came with. I've been coming to gametime for 7 years and they've been consistently providing an affordable family friendly experience in that time. Timed play cards are worth it, prizes aren't a

We got accused of shaking the machines and winning prizes, we told them to check the cameras and they never did then they shut off the machine where we were playing at. Never coming here again after today we usually spend over 500 every visit

EMPLOYEES ROBBED ME!!! i started crying when i looked in my wallet and it was all gone, the workers looked at me dumbfounded. they were no help at all.

Stopped to pick up some game cards. Great choices in games, and lots of them. Nice place and never too busy.

I hate to say this will probably be my last time at Gametime Ft. Myers. The $10 Tuesday would be a great deal but you are not allowed to play a majority of the games. The vast majority of games you are allowed to play are in disrepair or missing pieces. When you mention an issue to the staff you are met with an attitude and ?wise-remarks?. Not to mention the disgusting state of the restroom. My trip there on Tuesday evening July 30th was beyond disappointing.

It has a wide selection of games but not a lot of good plushies in the claw machines cute duck machine though.

It is an arcade but also they have televisions you can watch the game whether it's basketball baseball football whatever game is going on and is the most popular also they show the fights you know UFC fights and what not and it's just a ton of fun there are tons of games awesome games there's a bowling alley inside I'm neon bowling alley there basketball hoops for adults and kids there's an air hockey machine there's a restaurant inside of the actual arcade and they serve at delicious food and alcohol bever

Last Sunday we did my son's birthday at Game Time and it was a wonderful experience. I felt very pleased, everyone was super friendly. Vicky was wonderful helping me with every detail. The waitress who served us was super nice and was attentive to every detail all the time. Everything very clean and organized. It is definitely the best option if you want to make a birthday. Thank you all

Gametime has changed a bit since our last visit. We prefer going to another place in Ft Myers but my youngest wanted to do ?small bowling?. Timed play is now only available certain days/times: Thursday afternoons or Saturday/Sunday mornings for one hour. Or they have a dine and play combo for kids which is $19.99 and you get a small kid?s entree (i.e 7? pizza) and 45 min of timed play. The kids had fun but I definitely don't think our visit was worth the money spent. Especially since I have a little one th

My wife and I went for the first time tonight, on Monday 7/17. The manager on duty and staff were amazing! A few games were not cooperative, and they were on it. The bartender, D, went above and beyond the whole time we were there. We had no expectations, but she succeeded in service. We will definitely be back!

It's a fun place. You can leave it at that. Yet those who are more interested- I have my reasons and happy to explain. Pro: it's convenient. It's clean. The food is good. The games have been adequately updated. (There was a time where every 1/4 of the games were broken) on Thursdays - if you know the secret, you can go for $15 all night long starting at 7:00 pm. But?? these all lead into the ?cons? Cons: they no longer really cater to the ?play by the hour? style. And this really is the dealbreaker for m

My employer has a good amount of team outings here. Staff is always friendly and provides our team with a great experience. Definitely recommend!

Great food, great games at a great price! We will be returning soon!

Went on a sunday afternoon. Was not busy at all especially in the restaurant. We ate a late lunch and took advantage of the eat and play combo for $26. Service was good our waitress was friendly and attentive.

Absolute worst place to spend money at. The games are an either broken or they do not award you tickets and the staff is very unfriendly. My husband tried to forewarn me, but I gave it a chance. Do yourself a favor and save your money visit a Dave & Buster?s.

Grate place excellent for the kids , love it , they have food and drinks

Be very careful! When you walk in you are met by a large bank of kiosks to buy and load cards. We already had cards from the previous trip so we walked up to reload them. I made an error and put $50 on the same card twice. They were unable to separate the money onto two cards, nor would they give me the bonus credits you get at the hundred dollar level because I didn't do it all in one charge. Ridiculous. Why doesn't staff have access to adjust credits or values on cards? No even the manager? No problem we

This is for kinds...not adult arcade...sadly dissappointed.

I've been coming to game time since I was 20 years old. They were the only place I had ever seen allow you to purchase a time play card, good for most games, and you wouldn't get tickets. This was great, you could practice all of the games and get so good at them. We (me and my friends) used to play the ring toss, and little trick for ya?. if you keep playing and hoarding the rings, after 10 or so gameplays you will have all of the rings and then you can get the new high score. Also this was my first ever l

Our 1st time visiting. And I was absolutely surpised. Food and drinks were really really good. Service was great especially the general manager and waitress Annabel

Terrible. Restaurant sign says wait to be seated. We stood for 15 minutes and no one greeted us. Some customers told us to just walk in and let someone come talk to us instead of flowing the posted sign. Big issue with the food and play card. They tried to give us less than advertised. Terrible customer service when it came to broken machines taking out points and not letting us play. Toilets with menstrual blood all over them and no one cleaned it for 2 hours. Toilets with no toilet paper. Down right awful

A lot of fun here for kids and adults. Have a restaurant too if you want eat or drink.

TVs TVs and more TVs in the restaurant/lounge. $25 for an hour of unlimited play is a good deal. I went with a group of friends and it was a good time. The tall beers are HUGE, I don't know how much they cost because I didn't buy it. Bartender was fantastic, I don't remember her name but she had tattoos and was super friendly. Much better than another well know chain.

My little one and I had so much fun!! Good choices of games!!

Such a fun time with lots of options for games and arcade fun whether you bring someone on a date or the whole family

Greeted with a very unsocial, I think identifies as a cat bartender (she was warring ears). Very mad we disrupted her empty bar. Got a drink and quickly closed out (not originally planning to) to play some games. Came back for a beer and she was the same ?fun? cat. She kept my card to keep my tab open, which is fine. But when I tried to close out I couldn't get her attention (10 min.) so my husband went to track her down? waited another 10 minutes for my card. He apologized as we left for bothering her .. s

The gaming experience was great, we had a fun time in the arcade. However maybe they should tell their wait staff not to take photos of their patrons without their consent? For some reason our waitress thought we had a child with us when we didn't and was loudly speaking about what bad parents we are to another member of staff when we were within earshot (because we got a table where our 'child' couldn't join us??) We were very confused considering we don't even have children but thought it was harmless and

Waiters and bartenders were pretty friendly. The food tasted good, but took FOREVER to get out to my friends and I (3 people total). Update (6/10/22) played some games with the family! Super fun, though most games cost 5 points or more. Spend your points wisely if you're not looking to spend too much money.

A nice place for friends and family to bowl, eat, have various beverages, and watch as a robot delivers your shoes and pizza! (NOT at the same time!!) Plenty of shoe sizes available, and different ball weights if you don't bring your own. Typical animated scoring system that's simple to use and navigate. We sampled a couple draft beer choices, all good. One great feature here is the fully automated bumpers for young bowlers. They pop up and retract like magic at the start and end of that bowler's turn!

So much fun! There are so many games and the staff are very helpful. It's plenty fun for both kids and adults in the arcade, but there's also a bar if you'd rather drink and dine while the kids go nuts :)

My 11 year old loved this place. He had such a ball that we kept going back again and again...The manager Terry was so accommodating and even helped me retrieve our bonus points. The young gentleman that was working the counter was extremely helpful. He was working everyday that we were there and his name is Juan. What an awesome kid.... my son and I had such a wonderful time!!! Can't wait to go back. ????????

It such an amazing experience and a fun place to go to. I had a blast going there and plan to keep going there in the future. The food wasn't the best as for the waiter tried to serve me and my friend drinks but we were underage so we definitely got a laugh out of that. Other than that the night was amazing! We met a few people and even made some friends. I would definitely recommend going there to check it out yourself!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
