When I was stationed at Stewart, I had nothing but good interactions at Gamers Only. The staff were always very friendly, and more than willing to help me find what I needed. The best example of such was when I was looking for a particular rare (if not just hard to find) Nintendo 64 game, StarCraft 64. When I asked the owner/Employee(?) about it, he looked it up and said he had one at their other store (which is in South Carolina I believe). Unfortunately, I never could find the time to travel north to get
I have bought from this store before and the games I got all worked so I thought they were reputable, my recent purchase of a 40 dollar game that was sitting in one of their glass cases did not work and has a huge scratch down the middle, I'm going to try and call tomorrow to ask about a refund but it seems unlikely, I will update this review pending their response. Every game, especially the high value ones that you put in a glass display above all the others should be tested. I tested the game with three
Great people who work there The only store I can count on to always have Pok?mon. Prices are usually same as ptcg online listing's which is great. They have a lot of magic cards as well but that's not my cup of tea. The only store I go to for all my tcg needs and I'm always happy walking out
I've gone to Gamers Only several times, and on each of my visits I've walked away happy and with a fair amount of items at a happy price. They even helped me complete my Giga-Chad Binder of all 1025 Pokemon. Great place, very friendly.
Gamers Only is not only a great card shop with all sorts of variety (I.e Magic, Pok?mon, Football, etc). They also have a great selection of old vintage video games, consoles and collectables making it a one stop shop for anyone looking for something specific. The owner is a great dude to talk to and I always enjoy going to the shop and talk football. Highly recommend this store for anyone interested!
I love going to this store. I always find something new to buy. Love all the tcg, gaming and funko selections. I also wen to to get a disc fixed not so long ago, they did a great job and the game was playing great!.
i?d give this card shop 10 stars if i could. they ALWAYS have pok?mon cards in stock when every other store has nothing! i always go on weekends, and the employee that works weekends is ALWAYS super nice and helpful. i go out of my way to drive an hour to this store because i just love it so much
Lots of really cool finds in here, definitely recommend for people interested in older consoles. Also has a great selection of sports cards, Pok?mon, and comics.
Pretty good place for buying retro games and consoles- for the consoles, they don't clean them but regardless they work; prices of games are decent and they sell lots of game cards here.
just found this place today, very good stock pretty organized. the wife absolutely loved the pok?mon stock they had and got quite a few things, saw they had a evolving skies ETB behind the counter so i asked about it, the very nice lady behind the counter had said it was only for trades. so i checked online and the box is worth $208 (TCG price) so i brought down a few of my pok?mon cards (1998 evee promo card, and a couple of PSA 10 cards in total valued well over $208) he wasnt interested in the 98 promo c
Although it was a rocky start for me and had a rough experience. I would like to say I gave this place another chance. The place was Way cleaner products were in surplus and the owner was a very nice dude. I think that the store is getting the TLC it needed because it seemed like a totally different store from when I originally went. Prices were fare and they had rare and nice stuff. I bought a Japanese war of spark box. (Hard to find) some mtg singles few duel overload boxes. Like I said prices were good a
Absolutely amazing shop! The staff were friendly, and the prices were amongst the most reasonable in the market. I found them one day while scrolling the internet and ever since I visit anytime I am able. Love this place ??
Was really easy to work worth paid a more than fair price for my collection. And than still cut me a deal on the set I bought from him. Highly recommend.
At a time when scalpers are dominating the market and destroying the hobby for a lot of people, this store still remains as true to the hobby as possible. Yes, a slight markup is to be expected because profits are needed in order to run a business. But they don't follow the scalper market when it comes to selling a lot of items, so I'll continue to bring my business here when I need to chase some cards down.
Awesome selection! I drive 2 hours to just to go there. Every time I go in, they are always so friendly and willing to help. ??
Great store. I went in here and all the games were so organized. They have all from game boy to ps4. I got wii batman and Indiana jones as-well as ds modern warfare and 3ds lego undercover and a charger. And to my surprise everything worked perfectly fine. The guy working there was super kind and i will definitely go back. Only down side there were old save files on the games but i just deleted them.
Waste of time, rude surprise people even come to this place. Drove an hour because the place offered money for my card collection. Turns out he didn't want anything after saying they would buy everything got messages to prove.
My wife and I went in today for the first time to look for Pokemon cards. We've been to several stores around the area and in Savannah, but this store had the most stock and the best selection of bulk, singles, and sealed Pokemon cards. Customer service was fantastic, the guy was friendly and pretty helpful. But.. when I asked about how they price their cards, and whether it was based off TCGPlayer, they said it was ?pretty much random.? The singles in binders on the counter started at $3, some cards were w
I remember the owner charged me 40.00 for a umbreon tin he had it marked for 20.00 then came back and told me it was 40 dollars at the time I was green and didn't know any better so I bought it but later on I seen the same tin at Walmart for 14.00 that's more than likely where all the inventory is bought from. This happened almost a year ago but now that I know what everything cost i will never go back to lamers only
Horrible would never go back they sent me a message on marketplace trying to buy my collection and said they buy everything and don't cherry pick after over a hour car ride just to be told they don't want anything from the collection wouldn't waste your time going here would do zero stars if possible.
Never had an issue when shopping at this location. Have been around for all 3 locations in hinesville.
Tons of magic, pokemon, Yugioh, and sports cards. A lot of comics and funkos. walls full of sealed products. Dice and other game accessories. Retro video games and some modern ones. I'm sure I am missing something the store is a treasure trove I have spent hours digging through the single cards and there prices are fair. They also have a gaming room.
I stopped by after an hour long trip to pick up games from a Hinesville local. Great selection of vintage games and other items. I wanted to like this place so much, but the gentleman running the store was surprisingly rude and off-putting. I walked away from purchasing over $200 worth of stuff because the employee (owner) was so awful. To this reply ?You wanted a deal. This is a store not a flea market.? Sir, you run a hobby store, not an antique store. Get over yourself. It's comments like this that let
If you are trying to get into the one piece card game. Go to a different store. I understand marking up items. Except this store had booster boxes of one piece romance dawn for $150. They advertised it on Facebook too. They Markup the same box which the original tag to $190 a week later. I go in thinking I'm going to grab a starter deck and a booster box of a brand new game for a decent price. Nope, instead walked out with only a booster box for the price of $220. So if you are trying to get into the one pi
Great selection of retro video games, fair prices and super friendly/helpful staff. Will definitely be back!
Great hobby store, lots of gems hidden just have to go willing to spend a lot of time because there's tons of stuff. 100% recommended!
My wife and I have always been able to find what we were looking for and more. If I saw that the prices were to high on any item that I was going to buy, the owner researched and lowered (if able)as much as he could. Never have we walked out of that store feeling anything other than customers that will be back next week. Maybe put the penny sleeve limit to 20 at a discount
They have a huge selection and some good stuff but their prices are not reasonable. They claim they use TCG to price out cards and they have cards listed for over $30 meanwhile on TCG the card is valued at like $4. They had a ps3 remote for $60. Just unfair prices
Cool spot to buy mtg / pokemon singles and packs
When first coming here to start collecting it was amazing? but slowly I realized the amount this shop charges is just robbery. I remember asking why is it so expensive and the owner replied ?it doesn't matter because there's always someone who's gonna buy it?. Some items The prices are 3 times regular stores and over time the prices of even the small things keep increasing. It's sad when the scalpers online have better deals than a comic shop. Save your money and look online
I've been interested in this place for a while, I go in looking for a certain game, the red headed guy at the register acknowledged me, but instead of selling, he proceeds to spend the time I spent in there on how he hates his job? Why work there and why tell it to customers. Their prices are too high, wouldn't negotiate on multiple items, selection is great. Gave me discount for using cash. Which is another way of saying taxing people for convenience.
Sweet spot to stop during my travels. Good prices on magic packs and always find some obscure cards in their bulk that fit well in my decks.
Decent store, pretty unorganized. If you're looking for particular player, teams, type cards you gonna have to do some digging. Retro gaming stuff is priced pretty high. Would be 4* but literally just went to the store after work and although they're opened until 1800 they locked the door at 1730 as I was walking up.
Had a blast and always have a blast getting involved with the great yugioh community. Tons of cool items in the store and definitely come in at least once a week or so. Guy the owner is pretty rad and they have a great selection
Always great customer service every time I vist great selection
The guy is very rude and treats people like they are an inconvenience to even be in the store. He is basically Comicbook Guy from the Simpsons, except it isn't funny it makes you want to hit him.
I will give them 5 stars with a honest review. If looking to sell, you will get the best offer by having something of value with items you can not really get anything for elsewhere. Also, negotiate. Think of it like flea market/trade show when it comes to selling and less like a store. Items for sell are nice and for the most part fairly priced. You can find almost any video game gem you want. Great place overall. Great owner. Great staff.
The owner is a crook they devalue and try and take advantage of people trying to sell their collection of cards they offered me 10% of actual value and tried to play it off like they were giving me a deal I told them to go f themselves! So if you're looking to sell your trading card collectibles do not go here unless you're okay with robbed!!!
Absolutely terrible establishment. The owner and employees are extremely disrespectful and do not attend to customers. Their store is completely disorganized. It took over an hour just to find one card and the staff only helped by saying "it's over there somewhere". The prices on cards and retro gaming stuff was over priced. The retro game stuff is cheaper at gamestop then at this place and gamestop will give you more money on a trade in then this place. If anybody knows gamestop knows they do not offer an
Went about 2 weeks ago, my boyfriend had his doubts in the beginning but once he walked in he was instantly excited. The employee working was nice and greeted us when we came in. I left with some sailor moon manga volumes I was missing and a nice figure. I will be coming back again!
Seems like a great place for card and retro console games. Staff was nice and welcoming. I went cause Google recommended it as a comic book shop. At least 95% of the comics were inaccessible due to clutter. I fear for the condition of the comics stacked on top of each other in giant piles.
If I could give a lower rating I would. The idiot tried to steal cards from me. If you take anything to sell take someone with you to watch them. THEY ARE THEIVES!!!!
I love this place. Lol. I work there. Only issue is everytime I go to work I have to fight myself to not buy anything. We do welcome all reviews. Come see the new store. Everything is out in the open. So you can see everything come stop by and see what you think. Who knows you might find something that you grew up playing. Also HAPPY GAMING AND HAPPY COLLECTING. ????
Good place to buy cards and retro game systems; A guy named Austin helped get me into the Yugioh scene and it's been fun! Great store for building decks, buying games, and meeting people!
Beware! We were there only for comics. They have a small, but decent selection. The only problem is the boxes are marked "PRICED AS MARKED" all the comics have a sticker price on them.....until you get to the register. Then they look them up online, and say "sorry someone must have marked this wrong" "that's not one of our stickers" ok, well then how much is it? "I don't know, but I can't sell it to you for that" LESSON: Don't waste your time, go some where else if comics are what you are looking for.
48 hour return policy. I expected At least a week so I tried returning it 5 days later then I was told about their return policy . I bought a old school ps4 controller the sensitivity was horrible . I tried editing my settings on the game it made it slightly better but over all the controller was useless for first person shooter games.
Great place and the owner guy is is top notch.
Says they're open on sundays from 12-6. Met up with a group of friends to check it out. We got there around 2, they were closed.
My only visit and the shopkeeper didn't even greet me. He watched Friends on his laptop the whole time. I think he might've high because, he was mumbling and charged me 409$ for a couple of magic cards. I told him and he corrected it 4.09$ after about 15 minutes of button mashing on the register/iPad bs
The owner is really knowledgeable about gaming and they have a pretty decent inventory that updates every so often check them out if you have the time ??
Nice selection but over priced compared to most of the local game stores. Hard to support local businesses when they offer higher than average prices
This place was awesome, my wife and I found so many toys, games, and comics we haven't seen since the 80's and 90's. Everything was very reasonably priced, and the staff was very friendly.
Store was really messy and not organized. Most of the stuff I looked at didnt have prices and I couldn't hardly move in the store with my walker. The store needs to work on organizing stuff and making it where people with disabilities can walk around the store and look at stuff.
Staff was friendly. Reasonable prices along with a good variety of products. Store was very full with product and space was limited. Owner mentioned relocation was imminent. I would return and reccomend this game store.
Very cluttered feel, hard to find anything in particular. I don't know who was working as there were about 6 people at a table playing cards and one of them eventually said welcome but im not sure which one. No service at all, so i didnt buy anything. Left feeling disappointed.
Went in to trade in some old cards I had, and was offered a very fair price on them. They have a great selection of cards and worked with me and waited for me to make up my mind.
Great prices on Sports cards! Definitely highly recommend if your a local collector and want some high end cards and don't wanna wait around for your online orders....You definitely need to check out Gamers only!!!
It's ok. They have lots of old school video games but they don't test them or clean them. Over priced on most games. They have everything from NES to PS4/XBOX 1 games.
Austin gives great personality to the establishment and his friend Tito was nice helping me organize my son's entire Pokemon collection in folders color coordinating them even!
Went home after picking up a few singles MTG cards , and realised I was charged way over retail, for 30c cards the the owner rounds up to a dollar sometimes more , didn't realise because I bought quite a bit but once I scaned the cards I bought with the TCG app, the cards I bought were valued at 65 and I paid 85 at this location
Variety and supply is dwindling. Not the nicest looking shop. They sell a ton of MTG stuff but the staff knows nothing about the game. It's a card shop for crying out loud!
Don't waste your money on this place. They don't honor their own store policies. Amazon or e-bay has everything this place has, usually cheaper and they have a well-defined return policy that they actually honor
He has a lot of vintage items really cool guy and great service he's also amazing with trades!! Has jokes too lol don't miss out on his store !!!
They have lots of cool stuff and the new location is a lot more organized than before. I didn't get the name of the guy working there but he was very friendly and helpful.
For starters, find a place for everything and put it in its place. There's stuff everywhere! Stuff laying on top of other stuff that you have to move to see what's under it. Stuff's all over the countertops and cases. The lighting sucks. Honestly, it could be so much better.
Very good variety of retro games ranging from NES to Dreamcast, but lacking in newer systems. Go somewhere else if you're looking to appraise something from your collection.
Worst customer experience ever actually no customer service felt like I was more of a bother to be in the store no help was offered no alternative. Sucks because I was going to buy all my childhood Gaming consoles. Thanks a lot
Like the prices. My only problem is I travel an hour one way and the store is rarely ever open at the time it says on the door.
Great shop with a great selection. Just need some AC. Wanted to spend longer in there but no AC made it too hot
Extremely cool store with a lot of nice items but the price of most items are EXTREMELY over priced. Customer service was good and there's a little bit of everything.
Been to both stores. Both of them offer great bulk selections and pricing as well as 2well rounded prices and conditioned games.
Great place to find older games, and also to buy and play card games like MTG
Great store. Love the people that work there. And there yu gi oh selection for singles are great.
Cool little shop with a variety of nerdy stuff. Went In to look at ps3 games, left with a star wars figurine. Check it out gamer
Awesome store, awesome prices
Love this place and people who play here prices are great guy is pack full of fun and the yugioh players are great
Dude in there was nice and he gave me a nice price for pokemon cards!
Small but great selection. Also I've found things for a PlayStation2 and XBox original including the consoles themselves
I was able to find all that I needed. The customer service was great. The yong man Austin that assisted me was great and knowledgeable. I really appreciated the help.
Never go here to trade your stuff in. They will try to rip you off. I took a huge box with over 400 dollars worth of stuff and they offered me 80 dollars. What a joke
I got a GameCube and it worked like it used to do highly recommend this place for old consoles and gen z consoles.
Great place I like the manager there he was really cool and knew a lot about yugioh!
As a fan of retro games and media, this is a good place for that type of stuff, and things aren't overly expensive
They have all the cards I want but they don't know anything about MTG.
First time stopping in. Won't be the last. Got plenty of Magic singles before I left.
Nice and knowledgeable people. Store could be larger other than that my sons and I enjoy going
Good selection of singles for Yugioh, Pokemon, Vanguard, and Magic. Vintage games and comics.
I can play Yu-Gi-Oh! And buy cards, comics, and video games here. Awesome atmosphere.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
