Overall, I would DEFINITELY bring my son for another visit, if he asked. The facility was clean, it smelled good, check in was basically an ease, the gentleman checked in with us. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars was because my son really wanted to play fortnight and it was unavailable on all TVs. We checked in at noon. Once we sat down my son began to try and get on fortnight. The tv displayed a message that said it needed to be updated. He waited about 5 minutes. At that time I told my son that he
Held an 11 year old?s birthday party at gamer island. It was a great time. Met all our expectations. Staff and owner were awesome to work with. Happy to have a place like this in ours community.
My son had his 11th Birthday party here January 4th ..it was so clean and so nice ..the staff was great they were very attentive to our guest they definitely made of feel comfortable...The whole environment was so good ..we are definitely going back..
This is a very very nice place for gamers and it even has a couple lounges for parents just relax while the kids have safe fun on the games ?? the staff was very nice and helpful. Not to mention beyond the games they also have after-school programs that helps kids with their homework and they can earn free gaming time . I could go on and on about how amazing Gamers Island is, but to sum it up This is exactly what our kids need in the community. Keeps them out of the streets. Thank you Gamers Island the kids
Excellent experience!!! Tashawna was a great help and super nice, as were the other staff. The building had good atmosphere, was well cleaned and maintained, and had plenty of games set up to choose from. Our group had an excellent time and hopefully will be coming back :)
Fun concept with a great team supporting the vibe. Looking forward to going there again. Check them out.
We brought a group of high school students here! As you can imagine, our teens had an incredible experience. Big screen tvs, video games on all different types of platforms and consoles, pizza and drinks! What else would a teenager hope for. I look forward to coming back with a larger group. Well done, Gamers? Island ???????????? we will be back!
Very very nice. This is the go to place for every gamer. From Consoles to PC. You won't be disappointed
Just left gamers island at 7:40pm 8/17. Website states closes at 9pm; door sign says 10pm. I walk in with my 9 yr old, so he can play for a hour. One guy gets up and other guy says we close at 8pm. It was 7:40pm, the first guy looks at his phone and says we close at 8pm. As left out the door, I turned back to the sign, they turned off open light sign and locked the door at 7:45pm Also, I didn't an adult. The boys may have been 15-16 years old . Disappointing
Attended a 13th birthday party here and the staff was super nice! Jamari, Jamarion and Kayden did a great job hosting us! They were very patient and accommodating for my small children that attended the party. This place has a lot of games to choose from and the environment was very relaxed .
Pretty cool spot. Went here for my nephew birthday party and I was cool all the games and sitting areas made it feel very homey. The only negative was the a/c it was kind of warm on the inside.
Came here with my family to patronize on a Saturday at 5:00pm and they weren't even open. Hours of operation are until 9:45 pm. No sign on the door but sign says open and bars on window door. I'm confused how do you close a business during publicized business hours?? Needless to say my boys and my husband and I are disappointed
This place is awesome!!!!!!!! One of the best attractions in St.louis
I love it so much the kids love me I'm Micah I was the best fortnite player in there lol I love you guys and thank you for having me
So much for a gaming place that opens 2 days a week for not even 12 hrs. Garbage.

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
