Great place!!!!! Loved it so much A bit tight but im a big girl so idk. Amazing drinks Didn't try food But Great place I would recommend
As a visitor from another state, this was a great environment to visit. The bartender was very kind (01/31/2025) and attentive. He was very helpful and informative as a fellow nerd (lol!) Definitely a place to visit if you live Retro games and true service! ^-^
Always a little crowded even if no one's playing the games. Aside from tight fit it's a pretty cool place. Some bar food options would be nice
Love coming here. So many retro arcade games and pinball machines, not to mention the air hockey table. Full bar and great staff; Alex was particularly awesome! Drink specials available if there's an event at the neighboring Spokane Comedy Club, up to an hour before showtime. Definitely recommend this spot!
Not sure if it were staff or customers inside but the doors were locked. Sad sauce I really wanted to play but maybe on my next trip to Spokane
I mean this place is cool. Definitely gets pretty crowded. If you're a nerd and really want to play some old school games, you might be better going on the weekdays. Crowded with edgy millennials on the weekend who think that being born in 1998 makes them a 90s kid. Smh. In all seriousness, my mom loves it here. My friends love it. And I drink so what's there not to love? Oh yeah, sometimes the service is meh at best.
Didn't have any food but enjoyed some drinks, made some friends, played some games. I'd go back, it was a fun and relaxed time. There's even a dedicated TV to play retro games.
Adorable & fun little bar. I haven't tried the food, but the drinks are delicious and well made and the service is great. There's limited seating, but that's hardly an issue if you're there to play games, as you'll be moving around plenty and the stools are used for drinks rather than butts. A great location to check out if you're waiting for a comedy show for sure!
It's a good place. It sucks that they don't have drink holders for the games. It brings back the good old super crowded arcade memories
While I wish the place was bigger. Still a fun time and good drinks!
Had a great time here with my friends! Will definitely be coming back to try and beat the high score on all the games!
I ordered a double rum and coke. It was too strong of a drink for me but we had fun anyway!
Pretty sure this is a front for a "drug store". Was enticed to come here by the Spokane Comedy Club. Needless to say that was a mistake. My wife and I were rudely greeted with a holler of "ID's" as soon as we walked in (were in our late 40's). Pretty much all I recall the bartender saying to us at all. I knew this wasn't the place to be, but a friend was on the way to meet us. In the half hour we were there, I watched 20+ young people go in and out of a back room...not drinking or playing video games...weir
Great little place, we spent most of our night and most of our money here. Bartender was great and was clearly working very hard. Place got crowded later in the night but brought a great atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and courteous in the tight space. Shame this place isn't twice the size. A few games were a bit to close which made playing 2 player games more difficult, but overall amazing experience.
First time going here tonight. Such a great atmosphere. Alex the bartender was so nice and personable. She definitely made me feel like I've been here a hundred times. Going to be visiting again for sure!
On the 8th Annual BoozeRun 2018, stopped in to collect our Pin for Gamers Arcade Bar, 7th stop of 9. Smaller Bar full of arcade games and a couple tables for seating. Games take quarters and there is an ATM and a change machine inside. Place always seems to be busy...
I had a lot of fun here! Good games and drinks with a fun atmosphere!!
This is one of my favorite bars in Spokane. The games are cheap to play and the selection reminds me of being a kid again. It is a tiny bar so I recommend getting there earlier in the day to have the games to yourself. Drinks are decent, they have a good selection of alcohol and can make most things. Not a huge fan of their speciality drink menu, it would be nice if it rotated sometimes
Bartender definitely didn't want to be there. She was extremely rude to us. Very busy talking to her friends or other employees. Games were ok. The best part was the got dog. We were there 4-30-23
My friend and I visited this joint after eating brunch. I must say we had a great time. While they don't have many selections of gaming, the ones they do have are fun! And you really can't go wrong with air hockey right in the middle of the room! Their drink specials were rather decent too. $5 specialty drinks. I honestly can't wait to come back here.
The female bartender was rude, unwelcoming, and unpleasant. We were excited to go to the bar but wouldn't recommend because of the bartender. Not only was she rude but she mocked our group as ?ditzy, dumb? girls. She was definitely on a power trip and just didn't want us in ?her? bar for no apparent reason. I guess I wouldn't recommend this place if you are not a local.
Great bar, clean and friendly. Fun games that are kept up. The alcohol is a bit pricey but their Tuesday deal gets me and the crew coming back. Missing a star because of the location and size and good selection otherwise they'd get 5/5. Thanks for bringing an arcade bar into Spokane you guys rock.
It's one of the best places to hangout downtown to be honest. There's a good variety of different arcade games to choose from, some retro and some more modern. One highlight that really keeps people happy is the large selection of drinks you can get here. From excellent craft beers to masterfully mixed drinks, there's something for everyone here.
Bartender was friendly and willing to engage with the customers. As stated the bar is somewhat small, but they maximize the space available. Games are fun and mostly inexpensive to play. Takes me back, if they had room for a pool table it would be just like the Arcade/Pool halls of my child hood.
Went there for the first time this last Saturday, and my friends and i had a great time! the bartender was very sweet and nice. Loved that they made butterbeers there, overall had a great time loved all the star wars arcade games! i will definitely be going back again next time i am downtown!
I regularly go to this bar, by far my favorite bar downtown. The employees are always professional and friendly. Always at the door to open it for us, drinks are delicious, atmosphere is fun. Seth, Daniel and Cassie are so nice and do a great job. I will be coming here as long as they are here!
Fun atmosphere of a bunch of nerds getting together to party and chill out. Lovely drinks and bar staff who made me feel safe enough to go to the bathroom and leave my drink unattended.
Bartender was unpleasant. Drinks were over poured. They had people who were way over served and still serving them. People smoke cigs and weed right in front of the bar! It's gross you have to walk through smoke to enter. This bar has really gone down hill. I won't be back and neither will any of my friends.
If you're not punching above 800 on the punching machine. Then you may not be tough enough for this arcade bar unfortunately. Amazing drink selection. Great vibes. Barteners are cool. Changes machines regularly in this place. Would go again. 10/10.
Great place to go if you don't like the usual bar scene. There are arcade games all over the place and all of the drinks and food have fun names referencing different movies and books catering to the geek culture. I feel out of place at most bars because I'm not much of a drinker and I'm not into sports. This place has such a chill vibe though that I felt completely comfortable. Their drinks are VERY well priced amd are well made.
While it wasn't the largest arcade/bar I've been to, it was awesome quality! All the games work well, which can be tough to find from places that offer retro games. They also have a little monitor with a preloaded SNES, which I found very fun. Drinks were reasonable as well. Really glad I checked it out! If you're looking for a large quantity of retro games, this ain't it (I'm not from the area, though, so it may be as good as it gets in Spokane) however if you want some real quality games, and more than a
Attentive staff and absolutely great atmosphere. The place has some good games and some nice art on the walls. Had a good beer selection if you don't mind cans or glass bottles. They have Ms Pacman and Stryker, which was all I was looking for but they have some modern games along with some pinball as well. I'd recommend to anyone visiting the area to just stop by as you're sampling the bars of Spokane.
Took my brother here for his 21st and had a blast! Bartender was very kind and helpful. The games in the bar do take up a lot of space, so get comfy with your neighbor
Love this place! It is a bit small so easily crowded, but in my opinion that's the only downside. They have nice drinks (my favorite is the joker) and of course old arcade games. My favorite games were the pinball machines and hockey table. Oh, and if you don't bring quarters the have a quarter machine.
Great place, well kept, with most of the classic arcade games, and a great staff! But a special shout out has to go to one bartender especially. I cam.... Ooops I mean I can say that she is underpaid! So I gave it a 5 star rating but I'm adding an extra star just for her,!!
Fun place to play vintage arcade game and have a drink I was on a week trip to Spokane Washington and found this as a late night outing. I was highly pleased with the selection of arcade games and had a good time. Be careful if you aren't a smoker here, but you can still have a good time. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're going on a late night outing.
The bomb dot com. Love this place, a bit crowded, the machines are super clean and maintained, smalsquare l footage so I understand the tight spaces. My opinion only, lose the Foosball, add one or two bar tops with two stools. More room for pin playing and you'll be able to fit more people= more money.
This was a cool place to be sure, the only complaint I have is due to size of the establishment. Not a lot of room to move around and it can get too crammed sometimes. Besides that they have a lot of classic games to play, a decent selection of beverages and friendly staff.
This is an awesome little place with some great old arcade cabinets and pinball machines! It's not very big, but they provide stools to rest beers on and things are spaced so that even at its most crowded, I never felt too cramped. Overall, highly recommend. Special shoutout to the bouncer the night I was there- Keenan. That guy was awesome; I have never been in a bar where the door bouncer also walked around taking empties from people, being cordial, and asking if people needed things. One of my friends s
Did not eat...not sure if they even have food options. The gaming area seemed a little small based on the name of the bar, but it was still a fun place to hang and play pool with a friend.
Can't even drink my drink because it was way way over poured. When I order a cocktail, I order it because I want a good balanced drink. What the hell is your beverage cost here? You're bartenders are way over pouring and causing the cocktails to taste disgusting, and are probably throwing the owners money right out of the window.
great atmosphere, great drinks, really friendly yet unobtrusive staff that are great to talk to. The bartender (being really local) knew where all the cool spots to hang out were. Highly recommend a visit.
This is a fun place to play a few arcade games, some pinball and enjoy reasonably priced hot dogs and drinks. The hot dog I had was extra good! The only reason this bar does not get a 5 star is that I wish they had more pinball machines. Actually more machines in general. This is a small venue.
We come here every Tuesday for half price drinks! And we LOVE it!! Daniel and Seth and so awesome and we love seeing them! They always make it a fun place to hangout ALL NIGHT ??
Fun bar in downtown Spokane. Plenty of arcade games and pinball. They have a decent selection of beers and a change machine for all your news. There's a parking lot you can pay to use within a block. It is small, so it gets crowded, especially during special events.
Fun little bar for arcade gamers. A sweet selection of drinks. The only downside to my experience was how crowded and small the venue is and the couple shoving tongues down each others throats smack in the middle at a table. Gross lol but the games were fun!
Sign said they were open so we came to town early to play arcades. A guy(?) was in there at the bar, but wouldn't come to the locked door. Waited our 45 minutes in the car to go next door to Pinot's Palette. Now that is an evening of fun! Make a res at Pinot's to drink, paint and have a blast!
Nice little arcade bar- staff great but they felt bad many basic bar ingredients not available for the advertised cocktails
Pros: Super fun! Lots of great games and a great atmosphere Cons: It gets PACKED and even putting your drink down to play a game can be a challenge.
This is a pretty cool gamer bar with a full bar and arcade games, pinball machines, and an air hockey table
Small but nice place. As soon as about 20 people are inside it feels very cramped
A little crowded but what good bar isn't. Friendly and inviting and the prices weren't terrible. Good games if you can grab one. Overall good experience.
Small bar for drinks and arcade games. Very casual place. They have a machine for change which is nice. Only complaint is it seems the foundation of the building is on a slight slope, so all the pinballs in the machines shift to the left when you play, with makes playing pinball a little frustrating.
It's always super fun here, drinks are affordable, and so are the games.
A really fun spot. A nicely curated selection of old school arcade games you can still play for 25? a pop (Ms pac man, street fighter 2, strikers 1945, off road racing), fun pinball (old school for 50?, new school with video for $1), plus the arcade must haves of air hockey and bball arcade. Drinks are good, recommend going on the night with the special you think you'll take the most advantage of!
Awesome bartender! Good drinks. Fun experience! Can get a little crowded as the building isn't to big. But had a blast
I went there for a date and had a ring fall off that I've had since my sophomore year of high school. Called and asked if they had found it and they said they did but didn't think much of it and just threw it away... ?? place was small and it was hard to move around much. Super loud and couldn't hear anything my date was trying to say. Overall bad experience. Won't be going back.
Great place to hang out with friends - great variety of drinks and games to play!! Fantastic atmosphere!! Remember to bring a fist full of quarters! (If not, there is a change machine onsite.)
If you're considering going, just go! Overall it's a 10/10 from me. Good drinks, good prices, cool atmosphere, fun games. Will definitely be going again.
Fun atmosphere but way too small and crowded. Very few modern arcade games and the air hockey table needs a replacement puck because the one they have only floats on one side.
This place can be a lot of fun but can also get over crowded really quick and then you can hardly play any games. The drinks are good though!
Prices are good. Plenty of games. Mostly pinball games. Drinks are well priced the arcade games are a little pricey. The only complaint that I have about this place is that it is small so it can get a little crowded at times
Tbh this place is pretty lame. It's pretty boring. The games aren't anything interesting. The drinks are very run of the mill and too expensive for what they are. The service is pretty bad too.
Great place! Brian and Cassie are Awesome bartenders and I had a blast with friends playing arcade games. Great selection of local beers too. Ridgetop is bomb!
Best bar around for old retro arcade games, hockey table, and pinball machines. Had a dead pool drink it was delicious and is now my favorite alcoholic beverage! Love this place!!
Awesome bar. Great vibes! A little cramped at peak, but a great place to get drinks and play retro games!
With plenty of arcade games to play from and good drinks to sip on, it really is the best way to relive the nostalgic years of dropping quarters and racing cars or shooting aliens with your friends. Definitely a great stop for a night out with friends!
Admittedly I just went for the games. There's approximately 20 arcade games. The space is tight so it's difficult to get multiple players without crowding into the next game. The bar patrons seemed be having a good time.
Thought it was gonna be good then had to wait 1 h to get in when they should have been open already left somewhere cheaper
Nice bartender, customers all also nice. Atmosphere is super welcoming and the games are awesome. The drinks are SO GOOD too at a decent price.
My favorite bar great place with great people, being so close to the comedy club it's expected that you come with a great sense of humor and if your ready for a challenge play some airhockey with a stranger and make a friend and a rival.
Bartender was rough, could smell weed being smoked inside, and super super cramped. Just wanted to stop in and paid 6 bucks for a can of beer.
Gamers Arcade Bar is located nicely inside Downtown Spokanes nightlife area. With the Comedy Club and so many other bars and restaurants located near by, this place makes for the ultimate gamers getaway! Wondering what games they have available here? Just watch the movie Pixels with Adam Sandler ?? #Spokane #Entertainment
I love hanging out here. Dan is the best bartender and he's hilarious. The air hockey tournaments on Mondays are awesome. The Sega is free to play!!!
Love this place! Would go here all the time if I lived in Spokane!
We finally came into the gamers bar. Have to say I was a little disappointed. The games are all 50 cents a play, which seems excessive. The Donkey Kong screen was glitchy and buttons worn. And the seating is so crowded you can hardly move inside.
Small, but rad. Their video game collection has plenty or classics. This is a good bar to visit when it's a slow night during the week. It's almost always packed here's on the weekends.
It's a cool place but it's really cramped. It could use a bigger space and would love more games. it has cool themed drinks which are worth going for.
Cool place, tiny though so they fill up fast. Half of our party was turned away at the door due to fire code. Get there early to enjoy the games!
Atmosphere was good, games were fun, food was amazing but the drinks are super watered down, my friend had to remind the bartender her drink was suppose to have vodka in it.
A little cramped at times, but that's part of its charm. The drink selection and nightly specials are worth checking out if you've been looking to check this place out but have been worrying about price for drinks and games.
Fun to play old video games and pinball games. Drinks were watered down and very few choices to eat, as in hotdogs. Not a place I'd regularly go, but a fun date night for us old timers.
Nice bar with good selection of 80's and 90's arcade games. Thursday is tequila night $5 any tequila. With that given I drank most of what was left of the Don Julio :) (4 shots)
Good place to meet up with friends, and get down on some arcades, that being said a few games are over priced, I just don't like to spend $4 for a game, especially if I have never played the game before or am rusty, which would probably give me only 1 or 2 mins a play time and thats a waste. They do have Mrs. Pac-man, and other games that are only 25 cents, the pinball machines range from 50 cents to $1, mostly stay with those, and those game bring me back in time!!!$
Lots of fun, old classic games, a little tight in there and small selection of drinks, average price or less on drinks. Can't wait till they expand
Expensive cocktails for what they are, which seems unfair since they are also taking twenty dollars in quarters from me in their games every time I go there! Still a great place to hang out and play some old school arcade games.
Gets busy, but the service is top notch and the drinks are good. Plus, where else can you go, have a drink, and play games all night? ;)
Was a fun place! Throw back to high school days with the classic games!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
