I played on their PCs and the controllers they have are absolutely horrible. They definitely need actual Xbox controllers not trash knockoff ones. Would highly recommend bringing your own controller if you have one. They also had no snacks or drinks or anything, vending machines were completely empty.

This was the coolest place to host a birthday party! Our daughter turned 9 and this was such a sophisticated and unique way to celebrate. There are plenty of snacks available to purchase, and outside food is also permitted. (We thought that was amazing.) We were there for 4 hours and all of the kids stayed entertained until the end. I almost didn't go because of reviews that said one of the workers was rude, especially sarcastic. As someone who is sensitive to misuse of sarcasm, I was especially hesitant. This place is awesome! They've got about 30 high end gaming computers, 5 VR stations, and really good customer care. You just go in and rent stuff for however long you need and sit back and enjoy. I don't ever leave reviews but this place was the worst, worker was unhelpful and rude and my friends and I. All are computers were buggy and having trouble playing any games. Scheduled a party for my 10 year old and his friends. Package was extremely affordable compared to other birthday packages at other businesses. My wife and I had a blast at Gamer Planet last night. Great date night idea, and we got to switch back and forth between games as much as we wanted. If you're coming with a party of two, I suggest going for 90 minutes because time flies when you're having fun!

On a scale of 1-10 Gamer Planet gets a 1000. I've been to similar establishments in other states and by far GP stands out above the rest. Not a good place for competitive gamers. I spent almost everyday for a month at Gamer Planet gaming since I was off work. Computers were decent to start off with however they quickly got super annoying. Low fps in most games that should have been higher for the hardware running. Internet issues were frequent. I was very impressed by the appearance of the store. Virtual Reality was fun and very entertaining. My friends and I loved the added bonus of a reclining couch for every Virtual Reality booth. Love this place, love the staff, love the equipment. I have been gaming here for over five months and it is a premier gaming cafe. They will do anything they can to help you if there are issues with a download. They also do a phenomenal job keeping everything clean, which is probably the most difficult thing to do at a gaming cafe. This spot is where it is at! Lots of good spots to eat nearby too.

Great game selection. Me and my husband like to play co-op and they had 4 different co-ops to try. Price on Tuesday is half off which is really nice! First half of our session went well but the second half the computer froze. Had to leave due to baby sitting arrangements so they accredited the time on our account for another visit. Really fun family time! We took our 4 kids (ages 17-9) here for a fun afternoon and were not disappointed. We used a groupon that saved us $34 on our hour and a half session. Had a large party renting out 10+ machines and 2 VR bays, and a switch for 3 hours, we were only able to use 1 of the VR bays, we lost more than an hour of play time on PC's to technical issues with a game freezing mid match among multiple other log in issues. Pretty fun experience. I have a top end rig at home, but nothing beats sitting down with your buddies and gaming next to each other like the old school LAN parties. If you have your own peripherals then I'd recommend bringing them as the ones provided are very cheap and not great to use, especially the headset feels terrible. My friends booked 3 of the VR sets for an hour for a bachelor party. We purchased the VR sets with 3 separate group ons. I have had some fantastic memories at gamer planet and I am hoping to have more. Me and my three friends have been here countless times and have had a great experience every time. Employee was nice and very personable. The establishment is always kept clean and computers run great. They do struggle with getting certain games, but I was told that it was difficult to get licences to play them in gaming cafes. The only thing I would want is a larger selection of energy drinks. Sometimes you need that extra kick when playing games!

Place has a pretty good setup. Only downside I thought the Groupon was for two players at the same time, but it's just for two people in one VR area. So one basically has to watch while the other plays. Not what I expected. But overall fun options and nice setup with comfy recliners. Snacks and drinks for purchase. A group of us used to go quite a bit. Over the last few months they've had issues running certain games including Apex and Dead by Daylight. We called ahead to make sure the issues were fixed and they assured us they were. We were there nearly 2 hrs updating steam, verifying files and trying to play. So I went here for an hour and a half for the vr. I was pretty excited to try the vive pro 2 that they have, but when I did there was some problems. I came in with my husband to try out the Virtual Reality. We aren't gamers so we weren't sure what to expect. The staff was very helpful and we had a great time. They have all levels of experiences so we started basic and worked our way up to playing different games. Everything is brand new and super nice and clean. The place was awesome. It was really friendly. You could try any games or just browse the Internet etc. if you had trouble with your pc/Internet you just asked and the staff would come over to help you out as soon as possible. The chairs were quite comfortable. Their computers are quite high end so gaming on ultra settings was no problem.

Came in on July 31st 8:00pm for my birthday with my parents. The guy tried to up-charge me $35 for a session (I can get better VR at The Void for less) because my parents had already purchased a Groupon. I guess you better not be affiliated with someone else or you can't use your own Groupon. I used to come in all the time. Owner was great to work with but his staff is bringing the place down. Be careful with Groupons. I brought my son and his friend came with us. The friend had a different Groupon from a different account and they would not let them both use their Groupons because they arrived together. After purchasing 2 VR session groupons, because only 2 people are allowed per session they would not let my roommates and I use them as separate groups because we drove together. We made sure to reserve at a time that was dead, there were all 3 VR stations available, and a grand total of 3 (THREE) cars in the parking lot. We were told to either pay a second time or leave.

We rented 5 VR stations, and one of our group was having technical difficulties in the begining, so they gave all of us an extra 15 minutes of play time which wasn't necessary, but a great gesture by the employee. No parent wavers for kids to be playing adult games or to be there during school hours. I called to talk to the staff about it. They called back and offered to put blocks on the adult games and times allowed to be on the computers, but kids who know what they are doing can easily get around that.
