This place is great for a Trip of Nostalgia or if you wanna try some of the latest and greatest in the gaming sphere. Nice equipment and atmosphere. Will definitely come back to play some more Left 4 Dead 2 - LitleFoxx
Very clean, quiet on the weekdays. Perfect for me. :) I play WoW and have never had any issues with lag or long download times. Also it's completely self service so you don't actually have to interact with anyone if you dont want to.
I played on their PCs and the controllers they have are absolutely horrible. They definitely need actual Xbox controllers not trash knockoff ones. Would highly recommend bringing your own controller if you have one. They also had no snacks or drinks or anything, vending machines were completely empty.
Awesome place. Clean environment. Definitely would recommend others to go check it out. Many games to choose from. Username: Lot
Clean, cheap and great setups! Came from out of town and got the urge to play Valorant and decided to check it out, very greatful I did and you should too! -stfuenvii
This was the coolest place to host a birthday party! Our daughter turned 9 and this was such a sophisticated and unique way to celebrate. There are plenty of snacks available to purchase, and outside food is also permitted. (We thought that was amazing.) We were there for 4 hours and all of the kids stayed entertained until the end. Wonderful customer service too! Thanks guys.
Very friendly staff, and very good computers. I can run almost anything I want and perfectly too. A definite recommendation for anyone with free time and a couple of dollars to spend.
great place, been going over 4 years now and still keeps the gaming experience at its best. Even more so now that its open 24 hrs. anders97x
I almost didn't go because of reviews that said one of the workers was rude, especially sarcastic. As someone who is sensitive to misuse of sarcasm, I was especially hesitant. However, I went, and I am glad I did. The worker who others claim was rude was not! He was not even a little sarcastic! He was a chill dude, and since I went to try VR and see if I would get my own headset, he took time to answer my questions so that I could get something that worked best for me. Most importantly, he helped me enj
This place is awesome! They've got about 30 high end gaming computers, 5 VR stations, and really good customer care. You just go in and rent stuff for however long you need and sit back and enjoy. We found a killer deal on Groupon for VR which made it even better. Definitely worth checking out!! ????
Went couldn't receive any help. Waited 2 hrs just to try and sign. Couldnt get any help trying to get a refund for time wasted and no assistance was really help!
I don't ever leave reviews but this place was the worst, worker was unhelpful and rude and my friends and I. All are computers were buggy and having trouble playing any games. Out of 6 of us only two of the computers were able to actually play a game, only after waiting 30 minutes for it to update. We also asked the worker if they had military discount as half of us were military on vacation and he sarcastically replied ?thank you for your service?. Never had such a bad experience at this so called ?establi
If you or your kids love to play pc games or even VR this place is definitely worth coming too. Price is super affordable, atmosphere is really cool and everyone is really nice. I will definitely be coming here again. 2nd review Had my child's 11th birthday party here. It was easy, affordable and all the kids had fun. I recommend this place for parties and fun.
Place is great! Computers are great, and I always find a computer too! Price for pc per hour is great and passes are good deals too. Only reason I am giving 4 stars is because of the mouses they use. They are not great, they tend to move before they even touch the pad. I would recommend upgrading mouses
Totally awesome! (Check out my pics.) Very clean. All the equipment is new. Update: We came back a 2nd time to try the VR. It's incredible and exceeded all my expectations. You MUST try it!!
Scheduled a party for my 10 year old and his friends. Package was extremely affordable compared to other birthday packages at other businesses. Place was super clean and the employees were extremely helpful. I will be returning here for parties and maybe just to bring my kiddos to play some PC games. Definitely worth it. 10/10 would recommend
Haven't been disrespected like this in a while. i could say a lot but let's stick with the facts not the opinions. he told all my friends the pc needed updates on every game. we updated which took 30 minutes out of the 2 hours we booked. after that i decided to play the laggiest game of league of legends ever. now that we got the games out of the way, let's talk about the employees! the ?manager?, after asking if he had a military discount proceeded to make fun of us and say ?you served in the military con
Great gaming experience tonight. My son came in to play Fortnite with his friends online. We are from out of town but a pretty cool setup here. About 22 PC's, VR coming soon. My son said his computer he is on is lagging, so not as fast as he is used to at home. X-Box, playstation, and more fun. You can bring in your own food or drinks but you can buy drinks from the app too. You can just come in and buy time using a card or download the app, which many people do. The time does carry over, and they are op
I travel for work and have been all over the country. I've played at many different gaming cafes and lan centers. Some are great, some are awful. Gamer Planet deserves 5 stars but I will list some pros and cons. Pros: 1. One of the cheaper and more competitively priced gaming cafes I've ever been to. At the end of the day, we want to afford to play so this is great! 2. Large selection of games. Top of the line equipment - I'm a bigger guy and the chairs were pretty comfy and steady. Keyboards were smaller
This place is the best! They have a great selection of PC games and the setup process is very easy! They also have VR and the employee that assisted in the setup process was very helpful and kind! I come all the time and bring friends occasionally! 10/10 would recommend!
My wife and I had a blast at Gamer Planet last night. Great date night idea, and we got to switch back and forth between games as much as we wanted. If you're coming with a party of two, I suggest going for 90 minutes because time flies when you're having fun!
My son wanted to go here for his birthday and was disappointed. Most of the games he wanted to play they couldn't get to load. The worker there was nice and tried getting the games to work but obviously this company needs to fix a lot of bugs.
Scott was AMAZING!! He took care of my son?s 10th birthday and made sure the kids had an amazing time! He was on top of everything and was always available during the birthday planning
On a scale of 1-10 Gamer Planet gets a 1000. I've been to similar establishments in other states and by far GP stands out above the rest. Their methods of payments are fast and secure and will even accept cash. Moreover the level of cleanliness in there is outstanding. They always have Clorox wipes available if you want to wipe down your headsets and keyboards. Other establishments I've been to seem to have a certain smell to them (that I won't go into detail about) but GP seems to be very effective i
Not a good place for competitive gamers. I spent almost everyday for a month at Gamer Planet gaming since I was off work. Computers were decent to start off with however they quickly got super annoying. Low fps in most games that should have been higher for the hardware running. Internet issues were frequent. Not a good place for First person shooters. They advertise for pro gamers yet you can't even reliably get a constant 144hz in Apex Legends, one of the easiest games to run. If you're competitive like
If I could rate it 0 stars I would??????.. this is my first and last review ever.. they got a bag off of us and we didn't get to play any games and when we asked for help it seemed like it was everyone?s first day on the job. Sad to see P.S. By the time I did get a game to work it was super laggy and the sound no longer worked.. womp womp
Been here several times and the experience has always been fine. But this last time sucked. I bought a Groupon for a booth and my friend bought a Groupon for a second booth. Because we came in together we weren't allowed to use both Groupons so I was stuck paying full price for a second booth. Then our controls died like 4 times on the VR booth. It took forever to get them to come fix it the first time. Then the second time it happened I waited at the front counter for over 10 minutes and no one showed up t
I was very impressed by the appearance of the store. Virtual Reality was fun and very entertaining. My friends and I loved the added bonus of a reclining couch for every Virtual Reality booth. The snacks and drinks were very affordable. The guy working there was very friendly and helpful. My friends and I look forward to coming back soon.
Love this place, love the staff, love the equipment. I have been gaming here for over five months and it is a premier gaming cafe. They will do anything they can to help you if there are issues with a download. They also do a phenomenal job keeping everything clean, which is probably the most difficult thing to do at a gaming cafe. This spot is where it is at! Lots of good spots to eat nearby too.
Great game selection. Me and my husband like to play co-op and they had 4 different co-ops to try. Price on Tuesday is half off which is really nice! First half of our session went well but the second half the computer froze. Had to leave due to baby sitting arrangements so they accredited the time on our account for another visit. All and all I was very satisfied with the service and experience I had there.
I went here with my friends to play some videogames. We each paid $20 for 4 hours. The first hour was spent trying to get even a single multiplayer game to work, with no avail. When we asked for a refund, the employee there said they can't do that. We eventually decided to just play some games on our own, but only a few games will actually open without a steam account. Any game that costs money you have to purchase on your own steam account, then login to it. I'm not expecting to come here again, and I woul
Very nice place. I came in for one of their VR halloween events and we had some technical issues with the VR headsets. The lady up front was very accommodating, kind and helpful. She was able to help me get set up with some fun horror games and I had a great night. Will come back for sure.
The staff was great! Nathan was way cool and helpful with our tons of questions even when a member of our group got upset over a coupon. He reacted well and that reflected well on the business and the training they give for hire. We had a lot of fun and are excited to go back again.
The doors are ALWAYS CLOSED AND NO ONE IS THERE TO HELP WITH IT, 3 TIMES I CAME HERE AND ITS THE SAME DIFFERENTS HOURS OF THE DAY NOT AFTER BUSSINES HOURS
Really fun family time! We took our 4 kids (ages 17-9) here for a fun afternoon and were not disappointed. We used a groupon that saved us $34 on our hour and a half session. The workers were great to help us use the best deals, too. We played with the VR and had a blast! The place was clean, the equipment worked well and we had a great time!
Had a large party renting out 10+ machines and 2 VR bays, and a switch for 3 hours, we were only able to use 1 of the VR bays, we lost more than an hour of play time on PC's to technical issues with a game freezing mid match among multiple other log in issues. They only had one LAN enabled game requiring accounts for other games. They had 3 switch controllers (we wanted to play smash bro's ultimate. one of which was wired.), they had several X-Box controllers (we didnt really have a X-Box game that we wante
The employee we dealt with was not very friendly, and acted as if we didn't belong. He showed us very quickly how to to do things, and then disappears. Bought off Groupon, and it was for 2 people, one person has to sit and watch while the other plays, you NEVER interact so it would be a stupid date idea, and the venue is tiny, and cramped. I would NOT recommend this place. Not worth the money
I read reviews on Groupon and saw one from a Carla that shared their experience about people smoking in the facility. Then I saw the response from Gamer Planet stating they are definitely a smoke free environment. Okay so I trusted that and hoped for the best. I bought the Groupon for my husband to take our son. They went today, and the entire time a couple of young men, possibly older teens, were vaping. They kept blowing the smoke in my sons direction thinking they were funny! My son came home with a head
I had my son's 12th birthday party at Game Planet. It was the most fun, chill low stress kids party. I didn't worry about losing other people's children. Everyone had a good time. I didnt have to come up with party games. No fighting. The parents enjoyed themselves too. <-- anyone who's a parent will understand how big this is. They let you bring in your own food so if you have budget, diet or palette restrictions. No problem. Staff was super helpful. Just a great experience. With how much you drop on a p
I do like this spot, PCs are great. However i am a morning gamer and the place is locked up at 9 am and it seems like you gotta pay fee to have 24/7 access. Still a good spot.
Thoroughly impressed with this place. The equipment, the lounge chairs, the help... everything was awesome. Way great bang for you buck. Definitely recommend, definitely will go back. Jordan works there and is awesome. He'll make sure you know what you're doing if it's your first time.
Pretty fun experience. I have a top end rig at home, but nothing beats sitting down with your buddies and gaming next to each other like the old school LAN parties. If you have your own peripherals then I'd recommend bringing them as the ones provided are very cheap and not great to use, especially the headset feels terrible. My only real gripe is the system they use is pretty finicky at times. The program kept logging me out of their ?center account? games and I had to get up to ask for a two factor login
My friends booked 3 of the VR sets for an hour for a bachelor party. We purchased the VR sets with 3 separate group ons. Even though we called ahead to confirm that it was okay, they wouldn't let us play because we "walked in at the same time." This place is complete trash and most of their games aren't even multiplayer. Would never recommend any group looking to have any fun to go together here. Because I cannot reply to the reply by the owner I will write my response here. We called ahead prior to buyin
Today was our first time coming, this place is amazing!!!! Patrick was excellent he helped us ( and we had a lot of questions) he was patient, and very kind. We will defiantly will be coming back and recommending this to everybody! This was one of the coolest experiences I have had, and Patrick was truly great! Thanks so much! See you again!
Awesome staff! Scott was very helpful and great. Will be coming back!
I would like to give a WELL deserving shout out to Gamer Planet. I have never seen a more clean, optimal, and all-around excellent gaming cafe, (and I have been to a lot). I have severe health difficulties, so James (the person running the store), offered to help accommodate me in any way that he could. He's also very chill, always worked hard to make sure everything with the computer was running well, and helped me set up my new account. He was also helpful to others as well, not just me, so you can ex
So much fun! This was great. We played in the semi private VR rooms, which were more than big enough to move around in game. The staff was super friendly and helpful. And it was also the cheapest place that I've found. We will definitely be back for another gaming session soon.
I have had some fantastic memories at gamer planet and I am hoping to have more. Me and my three friends have been here countless times and have had a great experience every time. Their staff is fantastic and are really good at what they do. I hope they continue to allow more people to make memories like I have.
Employee was nice and very personable. The establishment is always kept clean and computers run great. They do struggle with getting certain games, but I was told that it was difficult to get licences to play them in gaming cafes. The only thing I would want is a larger selection of energy drinks. Sometimes you need that extra kick when playing games!
Went there a few days ago with my kids and we had a wonderful time. The place is clean, luxurious inside and everything worked perfectly. The staff was very helpful, kind and genuine. I am all for supporting local businesses that strive to do there best. I would definitely recommend.
This place had no good games had to pay for 1 hour it took that one hour to set up one game wouldn't recommend at all for any sort of fun. It took all my money away because this game is trash gamer planet you owe me money I'm contacting my lawyers
UPDATE: The owner offered free time for our troubles which was a nice gesture. This aside we've had countless great experiences. The machines run well, the staff is great to interact with, the facility is kept clean and they have what seems like weekly events. We've made friends and spent countless hours here. ----?------------------------- Went to Gamerplanet Saturday night around 1:40am. Their listed hours were to 3am and when we walked in half the computers were turned off and the staff informed us th
This place is awesome, had great staff and awesome setup. Great prices and a ton of games! Had a blast doing VR with my friends. They play Twitch streams on the TVs so you never get bored in between matches. DEFINITELY recommend!
This is an awesome place and a great idea for birthday parties. The owner's Marcus and Dan are extremely helpful the building is clean and a great vibe. I highly recommend coming in and playing some VR with a friend or team building with coworkers. Thank you guys!
Place has a pretty good setup. Only downside I thought the Groupon was for two players at the same time, but it's just for two people in one VR area. So one basically has to watch while the other plays. Not what I expected. But overall fun options and nice setup with comfy recliners. Snacks and drinks for purchase. Plenty of computers for those who game online.
Booked time for a VR as a surprise for our kids birthday... they apparently don't maintain their VRs.. so we left an event to make it to our reservation only to find out they don't prepare for reservations and we were turned away.. so now we left the party and had to cancel our plans, unable to make new ones late on a Friday night.
I have been here twice with my girlfriend and although the staff is nice and environment is clean you come here to game so you should get a great gaming experience. Our first issue we went and rented VR we had never done it and wanted to give it a go. We rented station one and started playing. The headsets audio didn't work so it was just visuals when we asked about it they said they knew about it and felt it to be a small issue. I don't know about you but Beat Saber and a multiple other games we wanted to
A group of us used to go quite a bit. Over the last few months they've had issues running certain games including Apex and Dead by Daylight. We called ahead to make sure the issues were fixed and they assured us they were. We were there nearly 2 hrs updating steam, verifying files and trying to play. We never got a game with the 4 of us to work and we got a lot of "yeah this has been happening a lot" from the employees. Save your money and time.
This place was SOOOO COOL!!! I went there for vr with some friends and it was well worth it. I hadn't played vr in years and im glad i did it at gamer planet. Staff was super helpful when there were questions or tech issues. I love playing vr and just watching my friends play from the convenient moniters connected to every station. I played FNAF VR and they didn't seem to mind my screaming. I also played a few other games. I got a bit dizzy and punched the wall at one point (sorry) but that was all on me. F
I'm going to be (perhaps excessively) fair here. My personal experience at Gamer Planet was not bad and the three stars I gave reflects my experience there. However, it does NOT reflect my experience with the owner. I'm a very small part of the Smash Bros scene in Utah and there used to be a weekly tournament here. I attended maybe once or twice, and as I said, the actual tournament/venue wasn't bad. The owner announced reopening Gamer Planet (you know, because it temporarily closed due to COVID-19). In a F
It's nice and clean inside, I've of the better computer cafe/rental places I've been to. Girlfriend and I went there for a VR booth, and it was a good time. There need more games like resident evil and other fun vr games, but we found a few that were okay.
Went with my wife for VR and had a great time! The employee knew what he was talking about and fixed any troubles we had with the Oculus. Went back with some friends to play the PC?s and the whole two hours we were there nothing worked and games needed to be updated or downloaded. The whole time nothing seemed to work properly. The employees said they didn't know how to fix a lot of the issues we needed help with sadly when it came to their PC?s. The whole place ended up crashing after the two hours we wer
The photo I posted is of someone concerned (Roberto Munoz) about the reopening of this place, and the owner (Daniel Perry) going absolutely 0 to 100 by insulting him and the community he was representing. I really did enjoy this place, but the staff really ruined it. I personally got called out and yelled at for trying to switch an HDMI input before this whole mess even, and instead of apologizing for calling me out, the employees walked away as if they pretended it didn't happen. But this image should real
So I went here for an hour and a half for the vr. I was pretty excited to try the vive pro 2 that they have, but when I did there was some problems. Some of the games I was playing didn't have bindings set correctly, so they weren't really playable, the big issue is that station 1 for sure I think has a serious bottleneck which is that it had poor performance in more graphically intensive games and the resolution was limited to a lower resolution because of a hardware limitation.(either the Ryzen 7 1700 or
I ordered the Groupon for my group and my friend ordered one as well. I called in to make sure we could use all 3 stations in the store and the girl on the phone said we could. When we showed up the guy working told us we couldn't and we'd have to pay extra. He was extremely rude so we left. This place is poorly run.
I came in with my husband to try out the Virtual Reality. We aren't gamers so we weren't sure what to expect. The staff was very helpful and we had a great time. They have all levels of experiences so we started basic and worked our way up to playing different games. Everything is brand new and super nice and clean. There are couches in each VR station that are very comfortable too! I would definitely recommend coming in to do the VR. It was a fun date night activity and not too expensive.
I FREAKING LOVE this place! Most gamer places are a dump, but this place has a bunch of nice computers, a ton of games, and 3 VR stations. I've been playing the new Mass Effect and it plays beautifully, and the VR is AWESOME! They have a ton of cool games I had never heard of and give you free time to figure it out before they start charging. Playing time is crazy cheap for everything there, so you can stay for a while, and they stay open late. Plus, they have snacks and drinks! This place is super fun, and
I had a fun time there. All day pass 30 dollar reasonable price for over 13 hours of use. The computer dc'd me a few times I noticed some other people having issues. It did get very full on weekends so be there early.
I come here every so often just for VR and I love it. The staff is cool and very accommodating. The price is way affordable than most places, if not all. 5/5 would return to accidentally punch walls
The place was awesome. It was really friendly. You could try any games or just browse the Internet etc. if you had trouble with your pc/Internet you just asked and the staff would come over to help you out as soon as possible. The chairs were quite comfortable. Their computers are quite high end so gaming on ultra settings was no problem.
Came in on July 31st 8:00pm for my birthday with my parents. The guy tried to up-charge me $35 for a session (I can get better VR at The Void for less) because my parents had already purchased a Groupon. I guess you better not be affiliated with someone else or you can't use your own Groupon. I used to come in all the time. Owner was great to work with but his staff is bringing the place down. I guess I'll have to go somewhere else and stop buying my friends Groupons for this place.
Be careful with Groupons. I brought my son and his friend came with us. The friend had a different Groupon from a different account and they would not let them both use their Groupons because they arrived together. We showed up on time and said the both would be about 12 minutes late so we waited and they forgot about us. I came back and asked how much longer and they had no idea who we were. They forgot to have us sign the waiver. It just went slow and inefficient. The equipment was good, the games good. T
After purchasing 2 VR session groupons, because only 2 people are allowed per session they would not let my roommates and I use them as separate groups because we drove together. We made sure to reserve at a time that was dead, there were all 3 VR stations available, and a grand total of 3 (THREE) cars in the parking lot. We were told to either pay a second time or leave.
Pretty nice place for PC gaming. The internet was pretty solid most of the time I did experience some random ping spikes but I don't know if it's like that all the time. Chairs were great, place was clean, loved the beverage selection. Definitely will drop by again if I'm around the area.
I have gone here for several smash bros tournaments and really regret it. They bully their customers, get defensive when you try to give constructive advice on running events more efficiently, have a sarcastic attitude about their service. When i saw one of their owners/managers attacking someone for suggesting that people should not go to the gamer planet smash tournaments DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC, i knew that these people don't care about providing a good service. There are so many better alternatives to
I came here for a work event and played VR for an hour. We rented 5 VR stations, and one of our group was having technical difficulties in the begining, so they gave all of us an extra 15 minutes of play time which wasn't necessary, but a great gesture by the employee. They have a large selection of VR games, more then are listed on their website. I played beatsaber and super hot VR. Good fun!
It was fun to play pc games but I couldn't find the VR there was no employees but at least it was six dollars an hour
I bought a Groupon for 90 minutes on the VR and my 5 and 6 year olds loved it! It was a blast just watching them. Its semi- private with comfy recliners and even snacks to purchase. I recommend this place.
So I bought a Groupon to go here because I've never been here. And my girlfriend bought one for her and her son. We decided to take the kids to have a good time and what we ended up with was them telling us we couldn't use two Groupon?s for two separate parties, so one set of kids got to play while the other one went home. The excuse that I got from the kid at the counter was that they didn't have enough bays. Well while my kids played there, there were two other bays that we're going unused the whole e
I tried the VR booth with my wife for a date night. It was our first VR experience and the staff was very supportive and helpful. I would highly recommend getting the 2-hour block. We had a lot of fun in a single hour, but I feel like we were really starting to get the hang of it when our time was up. We will certainly go back. I recommend having a focus of what kind of game you would like to play. We spent some of our time looking through the games and trying to figure out if they were what we wanted. Go i
vr games were fun, but feels awkward for multiplayer games tho bc you're in a room with other pc players. staff was really nice and had a lot of fun, definitely do this for a date!!
The owner was publicly rude to the entire gaming community online in Facebook forums calling people gross sticky people, and saying they were never welcome in his store again fro suggesting people follow stay at home orders during the COVID-19 pandemic (they are welcome to open, but no one is obligated to attend their tourney) It's a mess. the owner is genuinely an angry raging lunatic. Sure you can find screenshots of his rudeness to the entire community on FB/twitter/ and elsewhere in these reviews. Nev
Great! We played the VR for two hours and enjoyed it. Probably the best pricing around SLC. I want to suggest Space Pirate Trainer to your list of games, it's something I tried at another VR place and I'd love to play it someday at your site!
We've gone in two different times and the staff are awesome. They were totally helpful with my kids requests. The place has a really cool vibe and we had an awesome time.
Edited to five stars* Girl at the front desk doesn't even know the specs on the PCs. Neither the "super PCs" you pay extra for. I'm also playing on a high end gaming rig with a 60 hz HP monitor????? Lady upfront doesn't even know which monitors are 144hz or not. Absolute joke. Edit: owner gave us extra time to finish a League ranked game that we eventually turned around and run, then gave me a personal tour of the building, machines, and the specs of each monitor. 10/10 service.
No parent wavers for kids to be playing adult games or to be there during school hours. I called to talk to the staff about it. They called back and offered to put blocks on the adult games and times allowed to be on the computers, but kids who know what they are doing can easily get around that. I am giving a 3 start rather than a 1 star because they did call and try to figure out a way to help, but really they need to have parent wavers for kids to even start having free access to a computer.
My friends and I went to an all nighter event where we were told drinks, pizza, and Crumbl cookies would be served for a $30 event fee. $30 later we got 1 can of soda, 2 slices of pizza, and there were no cookies. I don't know if the staff there was very well informed of what was supposed to happen and when it was supposed to happen. Everyone was starving. The event was 14 hours long and the pizza wasn't ordered until 6 hours into the event. You'd honestly be better off doing a LAN party at home and have ev
Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Love the VR set ups. Variety of games. Let them know what you want to play before you go so they can preload a pc for you. Great for parties. You can bring in your own food.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
