This was such a fun place! It was our first time here and we had a blast! They have all kinds of games, claw machines and a really cool Photo Booth! Their frozen alcoholic drinks were delicious, I recommend the pineapple margarita! They also offer nonalcoholic slushi in 3 different flavors. My daughter loved the blue one! I recently visited Game Over and as a vintage game buff, I was thrilled with the selection of games they had to offer. The atmosphere was great and the drinks were pretty good as well. So, they no longer do the deal with spending $20 and paying for free. The bar tender said that people were dropping off kids and leaving them there. Best arcade experience. Better than Edison's. I would say there was at least 100 different arcade machines. Even a few vintage games from the 90s. The food was great and had a decent bar as well. Definitely fun for all ages and will definitely be going back.

Hands down, this Is a great place. Good food, unique drinks and all around good time. Need a few games to be up but for the most part very very enjoyable experience for the whole family.

Seems like a good adult arcade bar. This place absolutely rocks! Not only is the games fun, and the place extremely clean, the staff is very welcoming and goes above and beyond for customers! We had my gender reveal party today and they went above and beyond to make everything perfect, I highly recommend this place and will be coming back soon!

We had a great time! Ordered loaded potato skins, fried broccoli and cheese, and fried mushrooms. All were delicious. There were tons of game options for everyone on multiple floors from vintage pinball to newer games like giant crossy road. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

We had a great time! The pizza was meh, but the loaded potato wedges were awesome! Plus, you got a lot of food for your money. I love that the games are free! You just walk up and play. Great place for a drink and some good bar food. Staff was very friendly and the $5 hamburger I had was very good. This is an all cash establishment for drinks and food they do have an ATM on site. Order your drinks at the bar and your food at the kitchen counter. All menu items seem to be between $4 and $6.

By far my FAVORITE place to eat in Alton. AMAZING food and very good prices. They now allow kids and offer carry outs! If you haven't tried it before I highly suggest you do. They are closed Monday & Tuesday.

I'm too young to know what an arcade felt like in its golden era, but I've been to about every arcade in the area (up-down, edisons, the escape etc) and none of them have the variety and volume of games that they do here. New and old. Tons of giant 4d shoot em ups. Game prices are extremely reasonable and the claw machines are winnable! I imagine how I felt was how kids in the 80s felt hahaha. Food is mid. And pretty much all the games are broken so they don't actually play as intended. They take your money and don't even work properly. We spent 80$ on games and probably over half of that was on games that straight up did not work and just stole our money. That seems to be the business plan behind this place

Absolutely love this place! We went tonight for the first time. All of the staff was really welcoming. We had a problem with the bowling game, the employee came right over, got it running & even checked back after a few minutes to make sure we didn't have any more issues with it. First time at this establishment family had a blast games for all ages cold drinks good food and service

So I went late at night, needed food at 1 am, and came to GameOver. Bartenders were amazing. Mike was letting us try new shots they were creating, and everything was just delicious. Children are allowed until around 8 pm I think so next time I am bringing my Littles to have some fun and eat the food. Everything was so good.

It's a family oriented environment. Great for all ages. Especially for the ages of 3 years to everyone who loves to play games ?? this is for you. They have a ?? for adults and the food is delicious or you can sit and look or walk around. It has 3 levels, but you can't tell from the outside. I believe if you give it a try, you will truly be amazed ??.

UPDATE* Decided to come back and dine in a couple weeks ago and while the food was good, the new owners still didn't have their liquor license and were unable to serve drinks which was disappointing. It is definitely a fun place. Several machines were not working, but I attribute that to everything being fairly new and there will always be kinks to work out. We think the cheeseburgers were a bit dry. They were just cooked a tad too long. The mushrooms were great and the fried green beans were also very good.

The food was great!! At least the boneless bbq wings I had were! The games were confusing like are they free or?.. Some were broken or not working and the basement and other section was closed when we went, but for the MOST part the games are good! Still a fun place to go with friends or family but not a super long experience we were there for just an hour. Staff were super nice! Better than ordinary bar food, the staff was really nice and unlimited games is icing on the cake. They have really opened up and improved the venue. They also have a diverse collection of games. Most the games are broken and not set up. Just rows of broken games. It was very sad, let alone the 1 bartender was so lost at her job, no clue what to do. I've heard how great the food was so this was my first time trying it. The place was empty of customers. When asking if they were just having a slow night, the guy who was preparing my order stated that it's been slow since the restaurant changed hands 2 weeks ago. The 2 staff there were extremely friendly. I'm hoping that they were filling in for a cook as my food was way over cooked. I'll try another visit in the near future to see if things get better for them. I hope it does.

Just tried Chubby's for the first time today and really enjoyed it! I ordered the boneless maple bourbon wings and they were incredible, very sweet and a thinner sauce which I like. My boyfriend ordered the Philly cheese steak and really enjoyed it, it was very filling. We ordered sweet corn bites too and they were really good. You order food and drinks at the window and then they bring it to your table. They had lots of arcade games too which was pretty cool.

Normally I love it here. Today I did a call in order. I had to call a few times before they answered. No biggie. I was told 30 minutes. I got there and my order wasn't even started. The white guy behind the counter said "When you keep calling I'm trying to make orders" That was rude. Then when my food was finally done he handed to me and said "HERE" He also was rude with the lady there waiting to pick up her door dash order. I understand they were busy but no excuse to be bluntly rude.

Besides the food being tasteless and my marinara being ketchup mixed with something else. The staff was rude and unwelcoming. The guy that took our order seemed unenthusiastic to serve us. Very dry and rude overall and the bartender attempted to put gummies in my drink with no gloves just her hands and didn't show any proper hand hygiene overall. Will not be back after this although I was excited to go and explore the service I was given I wouldn't recommend the place to my dog.

Great concept, poorly executed. Serves food that has a horribly long wait time, and only 2 tables to sit at unless you can find a place at the bar. Majority of the games didn't work, and people were smoking cigarettes in the basement. Maybe it could be better if it was fixed and it had seating and figured out their kitchen stuff.

If I could leave zero stars, I would definitely leave zero stars. I took my granddaughter there over 50%. I'd say more like 70% of the games were broken. We literally only stayed for 30 minutes for the food to get done. Very terrible experience.

The food is so good and for a good price! Everything is made to order. I usually get a cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger is huge and has a ton of flavor. The atmosphere is down to earth and not fancy. It's just a great place to have a beer and bite to eat.

I hate to leave a negative review on what looks to be a new place but jeez if you're not ready to open the doors then don't. Fyi, your'e not ready to open. There is no staff, no alcohol and extremely long wait times on food. 2 hours in my case and all of the food didn't even make it out by then and we had to get a refund for the remainder of it. The arcade games are mostly free play so that is cool while you wait and the food was decent. That's where the 2 stars come from.

Came here with my wife, been waitin an hour for our order. Kitchen as no sense of order, just get out orders in whatever order they can. The potato skins are over cooked. Definitely an extemely busy place.

Delicious, reasonably priced food. Nice variety of drinks. Huge, really cool building with nice dining/bar/band set up. This bar/restaurant is great for everything. Comfortable atmosphere for family dining. Nice place for happy hour or for special occasion group meeting. Quieter areas to have a nice one on one conversation or date night.
