Customer Reviews

I'm getting old, so these games of yesterday can't keep my attention like they used to. But the kids, from 7-20 love this place still, and being priced right is a good way to burn off a couple of hours. The young girl and the counter was very nice and very helpful.

Best place ever. Seriously, bring your friends here, your kids, your family. This is the place to be. The nostalgia is so comforting and makes you feel like a kid again, they have no screen days where you keep your phone up front to connect with people, they have free days to keep people busy, and I believe they're starting a membership. Worth it !

This is truly one of my family's favorite places to spend some time. For Gen X, specifically Xennials or the "Oregon Trail Gen" folks, I think this place really feels like stepping back into our childhood. Being inside the mall makes it fun, just like the old days - but being really close to an exit and parking makes it better for us as adults. Haha. The place is always perfectly clean, set up, and maintained well, and some of the games are rotated in and out to keep it fresh. The true classics are always t

Great place to go with friends or to just spend an afternoon. Helpful staff and fantastic selection of games.

Absolutely Love This Place! This place has brought back something our community needed! My husband and I love coming here and can't wait to share the good times with our daughter when she is old enough to play. We love that they made a sensory night for special needs kiddos like ours. The Gauntlet Arcade Game is one of our favorites and the fact that you can save your progress as you go on it is an awesome feature. Almost done just got to find those ruin stones! The price is so affordable for all day. They

Phenomenal spot for young and old alike. Cheap price for unlimited pay(currently 15$) I'm sure Saturday is swamped but Sunday was average amount of people. Don't get me wrong you can run through the excitement in about 1 hour or so but If you're a gamer you will feel like home. No drinks or food inside but you get a bracelet so you can still visit the food court after.

My 9 year old loves this place and I do too. Truly a nostalgic experience!

I've been coming to game on since they first opened up. Tristan is a kind person, who devotes lots of time, care and attention into the store, community and his family. This is a wild accusation that is 100% outrageous. L waving negative feedback to hurt a business is not cool man.

$15.00 and everything is free play. Could not ask for anything better. I definitely enjoyed it & so did my kids. They even got to play an actual Nintendo here, which was an experience. Awesome spot.

Held my sons birthday party here. Tristan was fantastic at answering any questions I had prior to the event and even told me about their second location that was designed to be more sensory friendly for kids like my little boy with autism!!! The staff was great and attentive and super helpful with anything the kids needed with the games, even playing with them a bit! Plus, the parents got to play too (yeah, maybe that's why we agreed to have the party here, hehe) love the original arcades and gaming systems

This place is awesome!! My husband decided to bring our children and I here to check it out. It was so much fun.. we were entertained for hours.. there's so many games to choose from.. it wasn't super packed, it was clean, and theres sanitizer everywhere. thank God we ate before we got there, because nobody wanted to leave.. The best thing about it, is that it's one price and it's unlimited playing until they close..

It was so much fun. Brought my husband there for his birthday. He was so surprised at all the retro games and excited.

Great for the kids to hangout for hours, while you walk around the mall, or you can be the kid and experience all these games that will give you blast from the past, there are designated areas to sit on sofas and play as well as single stools are also there Great to travel into the past in the world of arcade

Brought my kids to the retro arcade and this place is awesome. So many games from my childhood and showing them the roots of the games they now love too!

We had such a great time! It's very easy to lose track of time. There are so many retro video games, systems, foosball machines and pinball machines! You pay for a wristband and then you play unlimited for the whole day! I brought my son, niece and nephew. We all played for hours! We had a blast! We highly recommend!

Love this place! $20 free gameplay all day! You get a wrist band and just play!! They have all kinds of games- pinball, Grey box, Atari, PlayStation and the classics! Def go and enjoy that nostalgia!

Takes me back to being a teen dumping quarters for a few hours and having fun hanging out with friends. Here are a couple of high scores. Is there no one on this planet to even challenge me?

Not bad to enter only 15 per head with unlimited game play old school games and alot of extras I wasn't expecting like old school systems that you could play with a old TV Place was very nice for what it is and where it is definitely not a waste of money if you plan on being there for a bit My only complaint was a few of the games I played definitely needed some maintenance aka the terminator game but definitely a solid place I don't recommend coming with 3 year Old because they get ancy haha my fault on b

Love this place and the video game store they have as well. Every nostalgic thing you can think about when it comes to gaming happens at this place, this is a must visit

Went there with my 4 year old and my niece at 7:30pm and the guy working there said they were closed early because of bad weather?it was flurries outside so I was confused. We looked inside and there were two young girls playing games in there so not sure why we were told it was closed. Unprofessional and rude, won't be going back.

Lots of great retro games from when I was a kid. My kids had a great time. There were plenty of games there that worked but I didn't find a few that weren't working.

Really fun and nostalgic, brought my kids there and they had fun for hours. It reminded me of my younger days and wanted my kids to feel that same energy I did as a kid. Mission was successful!

You have so many options to choose from. Retro Atari Nintendo pinball and sooo many arcade games. Its worth the money. Very spacious and all around gaming experience. You must see for yourself.

Amazing selection of games and friendly staff. They're always rotating which games are available, making it a new experience every time. The $40 monthly pass is an incredible deal if you're a gamer.

It'll surely blow your mind once you pay a visit to GameOn Retro Arcade. There's almost 100 arcade cabinets plus some retro consoles in the back! If you looking for a good and nostalgic time, make sure to stop by!

Retro games galore. Game on arcade is awesome. It has pinball games, arcade games, console games and more. The games are in amazing condition (even though they are very old). The arcade is clean and well maintained.

This place is an absolute gem that brings the magic of the classic arcade era to life! Walking in feels like stepping into a time machine, surrounded by vintage games, the glow of original CRT monitors, and pure nostalgia. For just $15, you get unlimited access to an incredible selection of over 100 games, making it an unbeatable value and a blast for all ages. Whether you're a lifelong gamer or discovering these classics for the first time, Game On is an experience that will leave you grinning ear to ear!

Had a blast all my favorite old school games, can't wait to go back. All the best games!!

Love this place. The have all the games you could every think of!

Great place, great fun, great staff! What an awesome stroll down arcade lane. They have it all... Dig Dug, Zaxxon, Street Fighter, Asteroids, tons of pinball machines sooo much more. One entrance fee, get your band and stay all day! Follow them on social media for specials. So much fun, you'll sprain your thumb!

This place is awesome. 15 dollars per head for all-day game play, no coins or card refills necessary. Tons of machines, tons of consoles. What a great time! Well worth it. They have everyone's old school favorites, including my personal faves--Paperboy and Pole Position. Tons of pinballs machines too. Laid back local crowd. Friendly, helpful staff.

Took my son to the mall just for this and they were closed to a party and said come back at 12. A little disappointed they close the entire place, but we waited an hour and came back to a new time. 12:30. We left! Should have more options for customers if there is a party.

Very bad business practice and I will no longer support this business. Been to this place a few times in the past 2 years and never paid for the adults as well, unless playing too. I came in with my child and was planing to pay only for him, like I've done before since I wasn't going to play . The guy there said they always charged for adults as well-playing or not. Not my experience. As much as we enjoy this place, I will not go again if they cannot be honest. Reply - before making this review I called 2

Place is great. Didnt give it 5 stars because the turtles pinball game keeps getting stuck and stranger things pinball the right flipper keeps getting stuck. Also duckhunt shoild be permanent because most people cant play it at home like some of the other stuff.

Great concept. Some of the games didn't work or worked but had broken buttons etc. That's the only reason for 4 stars and not 5. Place was clean. Right near a mall entrance and the food court. A great place to spend a few hours on a super hot or rainy day with your kids. The games they had are super old school. Not much from the mid to late 90s - Operation Wolf, etc. they have consoles you can play as well. Overall I thought it was great!

Loved the one in riverhead so we headed here to check it out. It was awesome!!!!!

Took my son today for grand opening - was fun to play all the late 80s and 90s games I used to as a kid. Great concept!

An epic experience! They have a wide variety of games making it fun for all ages! 10/10. Definitely coming back.

1st IT is a great place. I felt 35 years younger 2nd it is incredible what happened. I had no cash and my debit card didn't work. At the entrance I told the lady that I have aome issues with my German debit card and I am checking it online. So the kind lady at the reception said. Be my guests and she have me and my two daughters a free entry. Amazing. Thank you very very much for your hospitality. I appreciate it.

I visited twice. I take my autistic grandson there. He loves it.

Loved coming here and enjoying all the retro games. There is hand sanitizer provided by a lot of the games which made me feel much better about being at an arcade!! Guitar hero and super smash bros were amazing ?? we'll be back!

Excellent establishment.. Well worth the 15 bucks admission. You can stay the entire day, leave and come back if you like. All the games inside are unlocked so all plays are included with the 15 dollar admission.. They literally have a perfect assortment of arcade cabinets and pinball machines. Literally all the classics are there. I couldn't even think of a standard cabinet they didn't have there. They do have some driving games as well but not too many, i would say that's the only negative if i had to say

We've gone here a bunch of times but last week a lot of the games were not functioning. Quite a shame but seems to be going downhill.

We live this place. All the staff is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in the games. Our 8 year old would live here if he could. I love the pinball machines. Great way to spend an afternoon and super affordable. Ladies - send your kids and husbands while you shop headache free.

Was looking for a fun indoor thing to do with the kids to beat the heat and little did I know that I wouldn't want to leave this place! It's our 1st time here and we'll definitely be back. The set up and variety of vintage games are beyond cool! A trip worth memory lane worth every penny, a very good bang for the buck! Highly recommend it.

Retro arcade at a decent price, just get there early though, the time passes faster than a quarter a game.

The best part about Game On is the dedication to the safety and happiness to all of our children. Tristan and his staff are welcoming, whether it's the arcade or the stores. They greet you by name, and take time to get to know their customers. The games are amazing, and they listen to what their customers want! They try to find what the people want, and all of the games we forgot about! The arcade and stores are clean and the staff are always attentive. Lastly, I've never seen a business owner strive

Game On has a special place in my heart ever since I moved to Long Island. I get high scores in Pac-Man, compete against my fellow competitive pinball players in the pinball machines for the on-screen leaderboards, play my hardest in Smash Ultimate, and get obliterated in Ghosts n' Goblins on the first level (I hope it comes back because I want to actually have a go at beating the entire game lol). Massive selection of legendary arcade games, a small yet solid roster of pinball machines (Jurassic Park Prem

This place has tons of awesome arcade machines in great condition. Had a blast with my kids. The volume and diversity of different games is spectacular.

This place is awesome. We first enjoying at the Girl Scouts cookie Palozza event and all the girls had such a blast that I came back to bring my son. It was great because my daughter was able to walk around the mall with her friends while we hung out and played hours of games. We love the one price unlimited because you don't have to worry about bringing a pocket full of change.

This place is incredible. You can't beat the price. You can take the kids to play for the whole day with a ton of food options right out in the food court while the wife gets lost somewhere in Macy's. I'll be back a few times a month easily. Very glad this place exists, truly. Genius idea. Ton of fun. Good job to the guy who owns it along with the other store locations. Keep up the good work!

An absolute great activity for groups, with an all day pass only being $15. Thank you so much to Eric for being so helpful, definitely stop by for a good time!!

This place is AMAZING! Flashback to the 80?s and 90?s with all the retro video games and the music in the background. The price is great with all games on free play. You can come and go as you please and your bracelet is good all day. They offer family deals and does not suck your wallet dry like other modern arcades. Great job at bringing childhood memories back to the adults while the kids have a blast too! Highly recommended! I will definitely be back!

Nice old school arcade. With Nintendo games, atari games, guitar hero, pinball machines and more.

Awesome place! Took a trip here with a buddy and his kid, everyone had a blast. Plenty of games for everyone big and small. Chairs and stools so everyone can play the games. Good mix of arcade, console, and pinball machines. The value was there too. $20 or so for adults $10 for kids. You get a wristband and an come and go as you please. That was nice because we got hungry and just walked outside to the food court then came back. Highly recommended!!

As a small business owner this is the type of thing that gives proprietors a bad name. You can't get a bad review that is fair and honest and then attack your clientele. Sometimes you have to just say I'm sorry and move on. You don't post the ad along with pictures especially when it involves kids. Not smart. Plus, this type of behavior makes you question the validity of other reviews. From the review that I read below the OP was correct. There is nothing on their page that states a parent to kid ratio. Tha

Saw this place on Facebook. Looked awesome. Drove 45 minutes to get there. We arrive. Myself and 6 kids (age 9-13). They tell me I don't have enough adults to supervise my kids. Nowhere does it say this on the Facebook page. No idea how I would know in advance. I offer to leave a deposit and I assure them I can watch them and there will be no issues. Otherwise they can ask us to leave and keep the money. They still turn us away. I message the manager over at Game On. I tell them what happened, express my di

Bring my 3 kids here every time we go over by the mall for something. It's great showing my kids all the old arcade games I grew up on, the staff is amazing and helpful. They actually inspired me to build a mini retro arcade in the basement of my house. 5 stars is not enough.

I can say that my three kids and I had a blast! We spent 6.5 hours playing to our hearts content. Love the pinball games especially the ?Stranger Things?. All of the old time games were in good working order, although there were a couple of joysticks that needed attention, however not bad. Overall the place was pleasantly fun and not over bearing or crowded. Room to move, a place to sit and enjoy gaming without being rushed or financially drained. Only real criticism is the front desk girl in the morn

Yesterday we had my son?s birthday party at Game On and it was AMAZING! The staff was super friendly and helpful to adults and kids which made everything run so smoothly. The kids loved playing the wide variety of games from pin ball to Mario Kart to PAC Man. I would definitely recommend Game On for birthday party or just a regular day when you want to play a variety of video games. Thanks again Game On!!!

Had my sons 8th bday party here. All the kids had a blast and the parents who stayed also had a great time! Literally fun for all ages. I've never had so many compliments about how fun a kids birthday party could be. Super affordable too! Would definitely recommend! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. There aren't enough good things to say about this place.

I'm a retro gamer and I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately they fell very short. While the $15 a day is great, the first 8 games that I attempted to use didn't work. These games are in my top 10 favorites so the time spent was very disappointing.

All of Game ons businesses are ahead of the rest. From both arcades to the 3 stores. The staff is always friendly and the locations are clean. The owner is a stand up guy. For him it's not about the money but the customer experience. Grey places for all families and all ages!

Awesome old-school arcade. Tons of games and they have The Addams Family pinball machine (universally considered to be the Mona Lisa of pinball)

$20 to get in for all day access. Great variety of cabs from the late 70's all the way to the late 90's. A few pinball machines, shuffle board bowling, Super Chexx, and even a few consoles set up. Machines are well kept, the people running the place are really nice, and there isn't a ticket redemption machine to be seen. Make no mistake - this is a real arcade. EDIT 1/13/24 Finally got a chance to go back. Price is now $15 for all day.

This place is awesome, they really nailed the old arcade feel. It has a lot of games from regular cabinets to pinball to old consoles on glass front televisions, which is a great touch! Even when it started to get busy there was still plenty of room to move around. Also when you go don't forget to look at the decor. I especially liked the license plates with the Zelda screenshots on them. It's also very clean. I will definitely be going back. My wife and I had a blast. Try and go early because time goes by

This place is the best. Now of days, to find an arcade that has so many retro games of all decades and genres is almost impossible to find-let alone see them in pristine condition. The mix of sports/fighters/beat em ups/80?s/shooters/drivers you name it- is unprecedented. The atmosphere is comfortable, up-beat and positive, while is very affordably priced in today?s day and age. Would get 10 stars if they got a Mortal Kombat 3 machine in there??

Don't get me wrong. I love video games, and it's a great concept but - nothing really stands out about this place except for the convenience of being located right in the mall. I have had the chance to visit a few times and the first couple times I was here it was great, but it seems to have declined in recent months. The staff is generally hit or miss, once they have your cash it seems they don't care about the experience. They cram as many people in here as possible, which I get because they want to be

This place is awesome! All the nostalgia in one spot and I get to share my childhood with my kids. It's clean and organized. Great atmosphere. I only wish there was alcohol allowed for "adult hours or something but i get it's difficult to do that in a mall and all the licensing involved and food. Otherwise, this is a really fun place to go to anytime.

This place is awesome ! So many good retro games. Great place to take my son :) I love that he loves all the ones that I use to play. Clean, awesome space and the price to play ALL DAY is beyond reasonable.

Absolutely loved it. Retro Arcade with a ton of original machines, all the machines are in great condition. Most of the classics you loved from the 80?s and 90?s are here. Pay a flat fee at the door all the machines are free play, stay as long as you want. Took the wife and kids everyone had a blast. My kids are small, they have stools so everyone can play. Highly recommend!

Love this place so much! Friendly helpful staff and ALL the games you knew and loved for the kids to now enjoy. Well worth the money and you can stay as long as ya want. We got lunch and came back. We will definitely be back soon.

Bored, don't know what to do, want to try something new, have a big crew but don't want to break the bank? This is the spot to go. Fun for ALL ages, time and money well spent! Expect to be a couple hours...all fun and not so loud that you can't have a conversation. If you get hungry and you will....the food court is right there . You can enter and exit as much as needed. I will be back....retro date night next time!

Phenomenal price to enjoy your childhood all over again?

great family arcade and customer service. have brought my kids many times and had a great time! great selection of games, great value and great nostalgia for me! a great addition to our community!

Love it here so much! My girlfriend and I come here all the time and it's always a great experience. Love the pinball machines. That girl in the front on Sundays is so awesome and super nice too.

We had a great time here it is a lot of fun! The place is awesome. Brings me back to games we had as kids. It was fun to show my kids our video games. We will definitely be back!

$15 bucks to get in for all those games is an amazing deal. All of their games work and are well maintained. Staff is courteous. There is a small duck hunt in the corner just by the exit. 90s kids dream place

Me and Discord friends finally met up in person for the first time at this arcade in the Smith Haven Mall yesterday on Tuesday June 21st, 2022 and had a blast. Such a chill place to hangout and play and experience all these retro arcade machines in really good condition. Also the consoles connected to flat screen tvs was fun. Really nice that they only charge for admission and that all the games are free to play after that. $20 per adult and $10 per child. Y'all made meeting my discord friends in real life

The small girl at the front was very welcoming, friendly, and informative about everything. The place was definitely an enjoyable time for me. The same girl from what I was hearing too she was definitely the same being friendly and informative with other customers that came on in, made the place feel a lot more fun and chill environment for me.

Great concept. Very clean and lots of games.

I came in here on a whim, and I do not regret it in the slightest. The price is beyond reasonable for the variety of cabinets?and all-day access! It's clean, bright, and I had a great time with a friend I came with. Highly recommend to anyone who likes classic games and is swinging by the mall.

Awesome place the kids loved it will definitely be back!

Was here yesterday for number hours withy kids...nice staff... set up was excellent especially if you're a retro game fanatic I really liked how they had the organizations of the different machines ranging from late '70s early '80s all the way up to the 90s Fighting machines really a well-picked selection of games there and then to have the TVs hooked up with some of the retro home consoles was really great I thought they did an excellent job of their selection of games that they have. Will be back many ti

We had a great time at the arcade. So many different retro options to choose from! Will definitely back.

Fantastic place. Some actual pinball machines, and dozens of "Classic " arcade games. Almost all the originals (Space Invaders, Asteroids, DigDug, Centipede....) in their original frames. There were a few Emulators, but a just a few, and those had great old games on them too. The price was great ($20 for a wristband to play all day, no limit) Remember Wishing you had just /one/ more quarter??!!...all games are set to free play. Again, well worth it.

Husband loves coming there, but recently, we have noticed that much of their game machines are not working properly but those that do are a blast.

My son?s youth group at church came here and they are so accommodating to everyone. The place was clean and the staff was friendly and nice. They also accommodate special needs children which is a huge plus to me. We will definitely be back.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
