Customer Reviews

I love this place. We had my daughter?s birthday party here and it was an absolute hit. It's such a chill environment. They have the new systems and old ones. They have pin ball and so many old school video games. They were so personable and down to earth. I'm ready to have an adult night there ??

Awesome place in Medford that recently opened. Once food and drinks are available, and they become BYOB, this place will be the place to go! $22 for three of us to play unlimited games for an hour?? Yes, please!!! I just left and already can't wait to go back.

My daughter had her birthday party here and she and her friends had an absolutely great time. The place was very accommodating and the staff was super friendly. Even the parents loved it there, it's just a very relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend them for any of your parties.

Old-fashioned arcade. But retro! It took me down the memory lane when my late grandma bought me a lot of coins and waited to watch me playing. Grandma, I miss you.

We had our daughter's birthday party there last week and everyone had a blast. Craig and his staff are friendly and the whole place is clean and welcoming. Everyone had a great time in the VR room and all of the games are on free play. I highly recommend the experience to young and old gamers. I love the game cabinets and the pinball and my kids like the couch Xbox/Nintendo systems. At less than $10 for an hour, the price is right and and the service is top notch. Highly recommended!

My daughter just had her 7th birthday party at the arcade and we were so pleased with everything. Keegan was so helpful with setting everything up and knowledgeable with the games and helping the kids. Couldn't have been easier. Plenty of space for kids and parents, even in the party room it didn't feel cramped with 20 kids. Thanks for everything!

Great place for my daughter's birthday party. The adults had as much fun (if not more) than the kids. Very nostalgic and modern at the same time. Staff were great as well! I highly recommend Game on! for parties.

A great retro experience. The staff was friendly, place was clean and the games were fun. Price was a great deal, cannot wait to go back. Highly recommended.

A lotta fun for a good rate. They literally have all/most types of systems

Fun place for a birthday party. Lots of retro games, but unfortunately, a fair number were out of service at the time.

I called the shop the day before to ask if they would open early for a group of 10 people. Without pause they said of course! Once we got there the sound of the games was too overwhelming for a member of our group so they had to leave early. The shop decided not to charge us for the people that left early even though we were now under the amount we promised. This type of service is almost unheard of anymore! Not only did they have above and beyond customer service they were very clean. They cleaned each ga

We held a birthday party for my daughter here, and it was awesome! Lots of classic arcade games and more modern console ones. Staff was super helpful, and made the party a real hit.

I brought my 5-year-old son here after school today. It was our first time, and the gentleman in the front was super helpful and nice. It was pretty quiet the whole time we were there, but he did advise me to call ahead on the weekends as it can get busier. I also noticed lots of hand sanitizer and he would go around and clean machines once we were finished using them. It was a nice trip down memory lane for me as we got to play games I haven't played since I was a child! My son also had fun playing the ga

Don't walk, RUN, to book your next kid's birthday party here. They take care of everything so there's almost nothing to do other than bring food. The owner and party helper were amazing. 15/10!

A+++ I could not have asked for a better place to have my son's birthday party. The staff is extremely polite, professional, and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Wonderful little arcade with a great atmosphere and classic games for the old and the young. I bring my boys whenever we can for their enjoyment of the console games and my reminiscing of the old days with the classic games. Completely recommended if your looking for some getaway time and entertainment.

Great place always cool to stop in and play some games but you gotta wear a jacket in the winter I'm also looking forward to trying the VR room soon

Hidden gem in the Medford area. This place has a game for nearly anyone; from pinball, to home consoles, retro and table multiplayer games. It's a great place to hang out with friends. Nearly anyone could have a good time here. EDIT: I'm changing my review because I found that the prices are not very reasonable for people who come often. I love the place, however, the prices are just not good for anyone who frequently wants to stops by. My suggestion is making a monthly pass or something in that regard.

Really cool, cute retro video game arcade. We came for my daughters birthday. We didn't have a reservation but they were still able to let us in. We had a great time playing pac man, pinball, and other games like Galactica and frogger. Definitely recommend.

The owner, craig, is great. Keaton was our party helper and was great. The kids all had so much fun. Highly recommend.

We had a great time for my son's 10th birthday! So many awesome games and they were great with a huge group of crazy kids.

Prices are low and the huge selection of games makes it the perfect place to take you family. The staff here is very helpful and nice aswell

This place is great! Reminds me of the arcades from the 80s. We had our son's birthday party here and all the kids loved it!

Really enjoyed this place. Owner was great! I'm new to the area and was there for a party. As a game collector myself it was nice to talk with someone.

Had a party here, it was absolutely perfect and everyone had fun both adults and kids! Would 100% recommend, best venue ever and I've had some good ones!

This place is fun and I hope it stays around. Good selection of older arcade games and current consoles, all of which can be played for free for one flat rate (last time I was there it was $5 for 30 minutes).

What a great place! Very laid back, priced right, and family friendly. They have all my favs, and the owners seem like great folks. I'll definitely be back.. Many times!

Amazing I was the first to get there and the lady at the counter saw us outside and let us in early and it has a really good selection of games I totally recommend it. Edit: it's been one year I have been there a couple times before covid I just wanted to fix this review by first I mean first ever customer just wanted to clarify

Very cool experience. Alot of old fun games. I couldn't stop playing pinball. $47 for 2 1/2 hours for 2 people. Great deal and friendly staff!

Great place for family fun. Laid back priced well and they have all the classics! Easy place for your kids? birthday parties!

We had a great time here. Plenty of games for everyone. The games are spaced out so you aren't elbow to elbow with people on the next machine which is a big plus. We can't wait to go back.

Really friendly staff, great selection of vintage games and some more modern options too. Cool and unique place

Great fun playing classic arcade games and modern ones. Nice place for the whole family. Games are socially distanced, clean, felt safe.

Really cool little spot with lots of older arcade games- Donkey Kong, Galaga, Mortal Kombar (1) etc. Also very clean and affordable. Worth a trip for kids 6+ and adults!

Really fun place, great selection of games. We did a bachelorette party here and it was great!

Me and my daughter had a blast a game on, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Can't wait to go back again!

We had a blast. Didn't know which great machine to go to next! As for the machines, they all played great - controls all felt like brand new machines.

Amazing place to have a kids birthday party! The staff is wonderful!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
