The Game Lab at St. Charles Mall is a hidden gem! So much fun with a great variety of cool, interactive games. The space is clean and well-organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My daughter had an amazing time and already wants to go back. Highly recommend for a fun family outing or a playdate destination!
We just had our son's birthday party here and loved it! Maurice the owner is very professional, personable and attentive. He made sure that my family and guests were all taken care of and had a good time. A huge plus that you can pay a set fee then play without having to reload playing cards, or get coins for the machines, etc. Our party loved the atmosphere and the gaming wall in the back with the different gaming consoles and screens. We will definitely go back!
I just came here with my 8 yr old son. The owner or the man in charge was SUPER NICE! This Arcade is actually pretty freakin awesome. It's still fairly new & a work in progress but I can definitely say it's worth a visit! We are definitely going to come back & try the different VR set ups! The prices are pretty darn good too! You pay $15 for unlimited play for a whole hour for just Arcade games the VR u must pay separately but it looks totally worth it. I wish these people the best with this place bcuz they
Took my son here for his middle school graduation. He had a blast. So did I!!! Great mix of games. Old school and new. The VR is a must. The manager is super friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10. Must come again.
Me and my bf went there today & have so much fun. We loved the VR and all the other games. 10/10.
This place is amazing for families, youth, school trips, I took my class there and the owner was very accommodating for my special needs students. We had a great time!!!
He was very nice, he's doing a great job. I recommend it 100%
Awesome place for individuals of all ages to enjoy. Much welcomed addition to the mall.
Nice spot, friendly, lots of games, the kids had fun!
This place is AMAZING! You definitely get your money's worth when you come here. You can tell that they are still getting everything set up, but even then, there is so much to play! The staff is awesome! The pinball machines take money, and one machine was not working. But they gave me my money back! AWESOME!! I grew up with this mall having an arcade, and now that this is back, I see myself coming back here all the time with my friends and family! Looking forward to new games and events here! YOU ALL ROCK!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
