Wow, what an amazing place so many pinball machines. There is restrooms and some snacks and drinks. There are so many shooting games from my youth that brought back so many memories. Tons of fighting games. I'm looking to buy a pinball machine form the late 90s and this place really gave me a feel for so many machines. Found gems in this place. I did not want to leave and stayed for more than 4 hours and there is so many games I didn't even touch. They have new pinball machines too. It is truly an exquisit
Love it . My sons had a great time playing all the games i played when I was young.
Love Game Galaxy! Amazing pinball, arcade and console game selection with top, new pinball machines added regularly! Jason and his team provide a welcoming atmosphere, that is accepting to everyone of all ages. They are genuinely happy to share their passion of gaming with the community. 5 ?? ???????? Also, host to well run pinball tournaments!
Game Galaxy Arcade is an amazing place to go for a fun time. Whether by yourself, your mate or the entire family. The owners and staff are fantastic as well! I moved to Tennessee 3 1/2 years ago. We live in Knoxville and I've gone to Game Galaxy Arcade 4 times to play in Pinball Tournaments. The tournaments are so much fun and very well organized. It doesn't matter if you've never played in a pinball tournament or you've not played pinball in 30 years or if you're a high skilled player, you will have an a
Dozens of pinball machines. Many arcade games to choose from. They even have the most recent gaming consoles setup across multiple televisions with nearly unlimited games to choose from. This arcade doubles as a store too where you can purchase Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles and games. Great prices! Endless fun!
By far the best entertainment deal in Middle Tennessee. Can play 180 pinball machines and hundreds of arcade machines ALL DAY for less than the cost of dinner!! If you play Rythm Games or Pinball, there is not a better place for the price!! They should probably be charging more for what you get!!
8/2/24 Galaxy Arcade continues to impress me. Their Pinball selection has increased, they maintain them diligently and they have so many arcade games! Including Japanese games i have never played before. Always a blast to go and lose yourself in all the games they offer. Old:Hourly rate for pinball and classic video games is awesome. Crazy huge selection of both. Unique place. Some pinball machines need to be leveled but the sheer number of them will keep anyone happy.
A decent selection of tables, but don't expect a relaxing experience. I have played here a few times and have always walked always frustrated. The machines are intentionally set to play at an extremely difficult level. The most popular tables, the ones most likely to see high traffic, have the outlane posts not only shifted to the highest positions in order to make the them ?hungrier? than most parlors, but the O rings that give the ball a chance to rebound back out into the playfield have been removed. Ins
If you are serious about pinball, avoid this place and go somewhere else. 95% of games are not even close to level. Most classic Sterns have ceramic balls. The newest game Evil Dead was set to $3/ play on top of the entry fee.
The amount of machines and in perfect working order is truly commendable. I would say it's the best collection I've ever seen. They impressively reorganized the location recently. I cant rate it high enough now. Thankful for this location!
Wow! Just WOW!! This place is amazing! I could spend every day for the rest of my life here. Video games, pinball machines and so many other crazy unique games from the past. If you like arcades, DO NOT MISS this spot. Child friendly. This is the way. Visit @tennessee_yoda on Instagram
This place will blow your mind!! They've got so so many old school cabinet arcade games, Pinball machines out the wazoo with every theme under the sun, many many tvs up front with the different consoles attached. Pricing for our Friday night trip was $12 an hour per person, the games were free to play, and we kept up with our time ourselves and it was just the most fun. They have some snacks available for purchase too but no alcohol. Parking is limited it seems and there was a large sign around the corner
THE BEST ARCADE SPOT ANYWHERE PROBABLY. The selection of games is so much more than any location I've ever been to in my experience, over 50 different pinball machines, they have multiple different Japanese rhythm games including wacca and project diva arcade. Not to mention their amazing collection of classic arcade cabinets from donkey Kong to many Sega fighting games and mortal Kombat. The price is also very affordable, at the time of writing this it is $15 to play all day unlimited play which is just ph
They have a HUGE selection of pinball games, which I adore. (Stools are available if you cannot stand for long periods of time.) The employees have always been friendly and helpful and the space is tidy. They even once found my wallet and kept it safe until I went to pick it up. We love it here!
This was a lot of fun for our date night! Wall to wall pinball and quite a number of other arcade games that bring back waves of nostalgia around every corner! If older games are not your jam, never fear! The front lobby has many of the newer consoles and games to occupy customers of all ages. I will definitely be going back and am excited to see how Game Galaxy evolves over the years.
Phenomenal selection of machines and all are in excellent shape! I strongly recommend this place if you like pinball and/or video games.
This place is really cool. They have everything you can think of as far as retro arcade games and pinball go. It's one of the largest arcades in the country.
Was going to buy some Guitar Hero controllers that were listed as is and untested. We had already agreed on pricing too. I guess an hour and a half is "too long".
Great place to spend a few hours! Price is a bargain. Many new pinball machines, vintage pinball machines, and arcade games. We will definitely return!
A real blast back to my favorite era...the 80's.Really fun place, very enjoyable and relaxing.Any vintage video game or pinball machine that you can think of.
INCREDIBLE collection of vintage and modern pinball machines. If there's a machine you are dying to play, there's a chance they have it!. I spent 6 hours and it only cost $15. Well worth it.
Great place to play some old school games and play some modern vintage pinball machines. Price is also very fair considering at $15 all day pass or $12 for one hour considering some places charge you $1-$2 per game for pinball. Furthermore my only complaint would be they have a lot of pinball machines out of service I probably counted over 40 machines not working some of which I was looking forward to playing. Overall recommend.
Love this place! We only had 2 hours to play since we were driving from Atlanta back to Durango, but it was great and I cannot wait to go back! So many pinballs and other games!
LOVE coming by and playing pinball, it's a blast! The variety is great, everyone is friendly! Can't beat the price, and I can easily spend a few hours there and not realize it! The bathroom is a little sketch and I carry hand sanitizer with me because the machines can be a bit gnarly with fingerprints later in the day but otherwise I love coming here!
Far more packed with games than the Rivergate Mall Great Escape, including every console you can imagine. A few of the crown jewels being WWF Wrestlemania, D&D Tower Of Doom, all 4 Mortal Kombat cabinets, and the KISS pinball machine. Just $10 for one hour of unlimited access to all machines with unlimited credits, or $12 for all day. Perfect for anyone who has never visited a real arcade, or anyone who wants to relive the golden years of arcades.
This place is amazing. Id reccomend it to everyone that likes games of any kind. They have cabinet games, console games, pinball machines. Everything. The attendant knows his stuff and was very friendly. We stayed 3 hours for 12 bucks a piece. Excellent date trip. Its near Nashville, and there's a kickass Mexican place right across the street.
More variety of vintage and new games than you could ask for! It's a little messy for my OCD, but it wont stop me from going. It is awesome! I was there with three generations of my fam today - all had a blast.
There are tons of pinball and video games. Low price for all day fun.
Update 7/3/24. This place is magical, for a fair price you can play all day. $10 per person groups of 4 or more $15 all day. 5 -4 y/o for $5 younger free. And the drinks and snacks are priced very fairly. Every time we have a blast. Games of all kinds. We spend hours playing pinball machines. Every time emee visit there are new machines and newer models. *****""****** Great retro experience, get the 10 dollar all-day pass, is worth it!
Best arcade in the Tennessee Valley. Amazing selection of rare and unique arcade machines, from fighting games, music games and beat em ups. Also a huge collection of pinball machines too
This is the best selection of playable arcade games I've ever seen anywhere. If you love classic arcade games, it's a must see. They got the rare stuff! Like frenzy, joust pinball and timber!
I love this place! They have a lot of games. I'm especially fond of their selection of pinball machines. The prices are reasonable as well. You can pay $12 and play all day from open to close. I'm from out of town but every time I come to this area I stopped at this arcade.
Game Galaxy is the best arcade I've ever been to. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is huge and packed to the brim with just about every classic arcade game you could imagine. They have tons of pinball machines both new and old, a huge selection of retro arcade cabinets, and a really unique selection of imported rhythm games too! They even have a whole room dedicated to console gaming and a small retail store for used games. Their used game prices are really fair too. I love that yo
Absolutely amazing, hands down. It would take you years to truly play through the collection of games here, but at 12 dollars a day you can make a good dent without putting much of a dent in your wallet. Yes, there are a few games with some problems, but after being played for 30+ years even I have some things that don't work like they used to. The staff is friendly and if you have a question or concern they are there to help. This place is worth a drive, even an entire day trip. Whether you're a classic
Nearest place to home with a great variety of rhythm games, which are pretty limited in the Midwest, so this place is a gem!
Very good games, but it is very loud and SO bright because some games have you right up on it, its a great place to go if you need a few hours away from the house, but overall love this place
WOW! Beyond impressed with this place. Took me back to the early 80's at the height of arcade and pinball machines. Online pictures do NOT do this place justice. If you want to experience the video arcade experience at its greatest, come here! Prices were more than reasonable. I will most certainly be back to enjoy many of these long-lost classic games. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.
Awesome place! Tons of retro arcade and consoles! Even some stuff for sale which I was not expecting! Best part was you pay by the hour, way better than getting a ton of coins from a change machine. I wish all of the arcades worked, some appear to be down for maintenance or not plugged in which stunk cuz some of my favorites were in that group. Overall definitely coming back every so often!
As some who spent an entire vacation last summer driving to arcades, I can confidently say this one is among the best. Couple things irritated me (mix of wrist band and coin op being chief) but the selection was incredible. My daughter said it was the best collection of rhythm games she'd ever seen, and the pinball was GREAT.
This place is awesome!!!!!!! So.many.games! They have a ton of old arcade games, but also lots of pinball machines, and just about any gaming console there's ever been with a pretty good assortment of games for each one. They also buy, sell, and trade games, and host gaming tournaments. Regular admission pricing is $10 for all day play or $7 per hour. Free parking in the back. A few snacks available on site or several restaurants near by. Lots and lots of fun for all ages!!!
Great arcade. Too bad I didn't stop in on a weekend but I was just passing through. Most of the rare games and Lazer stuff is only turned on then. A few things were down but with machines this old it is somewhat of a given.
Hidden gem. Game Galaxy is a must visit. The pictures don't do it justice. There's so many arcade games, including pinball machines. It's cheap to play for the day as all the machines are free play, after you pay to get in.
A great place with a good variety of games and some of the best Japanese imports I've seen.
Don't be fooled by the 5 star rating. This game Galaxy arcade isn't the coolest design themed environment with great amenities... Rather it feels like you have walked in to the storage warehouse where all the old pinball and arcade games go to die. But the games work... Well, a large majority of them... And with around 450 games to choose from and a ten dollar all day pass, you can get your dig dug on... Or pop a few games of pinball. And, in this world where Dave and Buster's games cost 2 dollars to win a
This place is ridiculously cool. You can pick up a PC Engine card from the shop, play Red Earth on an emulator, Doom on the Dreamcast... They have a laserdisc game from 1980 based on Hayao Miyazaki's first feature film "Castle of Cagliostro". When you think you've seen everything in the place, you discover some other classic game like Cadash and lose another 3 hours of your life. This place is the best way to spend a rainy day, and pretty much single-handedly redeems the entire Nashville area.
Great selection of games in excellent condition. Free play all day for $12!
Fantastic selection of games!! Really enjoy the pricing!! Will be coming back!!!
An amazing place for those who love classic arcade games. They have many arcade, pinball machines, and console games even a game boy color. And you can play all day for just 10 bucks! So if you love the classic and arcade you should really try going there.
A great place for a Saturday afternoon or any evening! Tons of classic arcade games, pinball, and video games available to play. Not the cleanest place, but not a Waffle House either. Enjoyed all the games and my time there!
I really wanted to like the place but there were some issues. Half of the place was closed because of a tournament. That I should have looked up before we drove 45 minutes. The employees were really nice and helpful but. I came here for some particular pinball machines I remembered from my youth. Part of those were actually available BUT either switched of because of whatever reason or not in working condition. I paid full admission for a day pass and left after an hour. True I could have played some of the
Chill arcade with a huge variety of games.
This place one of my TOP if not THE TOP place that I'd recommend to a family (If they are gamers). I've been taking my 12 yr old son there since he was 8/9 and he absolutely loves it. Since then I've taken his friends and even visiting family. The price is so reasonable and game systems for every age from old school pinball, marvel/Capcom, NBA jam, dance revolution, and even the new systems like PS5, Xbox, and they even have a game trading station. All in all you won't be disappointed.
A large selection of video games and pinball machines, both classic and modern! However, some machines were out of order or simply not plugged, but not enough to where I couldn't find something to play.
I'm in love. mostly post 1979 pinball collection, a lot of the machines are in absolutely immaculate condition. some newer machines are on coin drop after entry fee has been paid. Machines are largely left off and turned on as needed. Only complaint is that some machines are not properly balanced and so lean in one direction or the other. Mostly I'm about pins but the arcade side of things looks comprehensive and amazing. Plus a large and well thought out area for console gaming. This is a top tier must fo
This place surprised me! Way bigger on the inside than it looks outside. Have games that my kids enjoy and reminded me of being a teenager. Pricing model could use a bit reworking, but still very reasonable for what all is being offered. It could use a bit better lighting in places and a perhaps cleaned more often (or better). But, a very enjoyable time and I highly recommend visiting.
I didn't realize until recently that Game Galaxy was still in business ever since they moved away from Hickory Hollow Mall (R.I.P.), several years ago. I'll have to pay them a visit, one day.
It was ok. Parking is a little bit tricky and iffy but we eventually found somewhere. Also it's on a one way street so you have to circle around the next street up don't go down the wrong way. Plenty of games , lots of pinball. PSVR but impossible to play being it's in a line of other games and consoles so you have about 3 foot width to play VR not a lot of room. Near VR there's also a wall of Gabe discs that you have to constantly dodge people whilst looking for a game and the people looking for games get
Love this arcade. I've lived in three other states and I haven't found one establishment that equals to this place. Well worth the money. Great amount of pinball games and some arcade games that are rare. Love coming back to play when visiting family. Too bad we no longer live a few blocks away. My kids would be here weekly if so. Edit: Reading over the reviews, it's hard to believe this place has been here for over 7 years now. I remember when the owner was looking for another place to put his machines fro
Hard to describe this place. Set expectations low and you'll have a good time. I do love the flat rate unlimited play. Make sure to visit the vintage room of just pinball machines. Any machine that's off you can ask an employee to turn on for you to play. But the majority of them are on and running and a blast to play. An appreciation for older tech and the fact that some of these machines are 40+years old and still running is pretty amazing
Top notch arcade. Great people. As hard as it is to keep up with a couple hundred piball machines, the job gets done. Most pins I have seen outside of Hillsboro, OR. Thanks for your hospitality, I'll be back.
I always have loved this place. $10 for an hour, and $12 for all day. If you pay for all day, if you need to leave and come back, they're chill with it. They have the biggest selection of arcade games, pinball machines, and console games, both for sale and playable, then any other arcade/game place I've been to. All the workers are chill, and are there to help you if you have any issues with any games, or if your just buying a drink. I feel welcomed every time I go, and I highly recommend experiencing this
This place is a gamer?s paradise. You can play almost any console you want, classic and newer arcade cabinets, and some sweet rhythm games. If you're interested in pinball, they have that too. And if you want to buy gaming equipment and merchandise, they have that too. This place is great for everyone!
Neat place. My son enjoys coming here. They could make sure more machines are functioning properly. Otherwise, it is a good place for some gaming entertainment. UPDATE: To answer your question, there have always been quite a # of pinball machines and arcade games (we've visited several times over the last several years) that are either powered down or turned on but don't have credits available to press "Start." You have to get the employee to walk back and see if a machine works or not. I think a little mo
Loved this place! Took my son there for his 8 year old birthday yesterday(3/7/21). He loved the arcade games but the pinball machines were his favorite. The staff were friendly and helpful. The all day play fee of $12 is a steal, considering you could spend that in quarters in no time. Thanks for making my son?s day. We'll be back. Blessings!!????
Wow! Games overload!! So many arcade games in one place. I found this place a couple weeks ago and asked my dad if he would be interested in visiting for Father's Day. We enjoyed 5 hours of fun. I played 44 pinball machines. Hope to make it back to play more!
This is a real arcade with tons of games domestic and foreign. This is the best spot in TN Even better in 2025, come get it
Even though this business has been here for 7 years I have never went inside the establishment until today!! Boy what a surprise!! This place has every Arcade game you can this of. It's like going to the scrap yard except everything here work's, I felt like a kid again trying to play these games, I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Thankfully my fiance is a good sport and let me win a few games. There is a small fee to enjoy this fun, but I feel it's well worth it.
Reasonably priced, but kind of dirty and run-down. There's consoles, arcades, and pin ball machines, but about 1/3 to 1/2 of the machines don't work properly, unfortunately. They've also got a kind of weird retail area that reminded me of a flea market. Most of the arcade games are from the 80s and 90s. Not a bad place to spend an hour or two, but it could definitely use some improvement, IMO. My wife and kids got bored pretty quick? and although we paid for an ?all day? price, they wanted to leave before a
My whole family loves this place. Old school games and new. My husband and I will even come here on a date night. Price is not bad either.
Great place to play pinball and arcade games. $15 for free play. You can't beat that. I'd definitely come back in the future.
Still our favorite arcade and best deal around IMHO. This has been our son's birthday request for years. It was nice to see families with younger kids earlier in the day and older high school kids later on and well behaved. Glad to have GG in town!
One of the best arcades around any where. So many games to choose from!! Relatively cost effective with paying by the hour or by the day. It's an awesome place to take your friends, family, or kids. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone. Could spend hours in this place. They have all the classics, dance dance revolution, tekken, several pin ball machines, and many many more. This place really is super cool.
I accidentally stumbled upon this place while driving through Smyrna. If you are in the 30 to 50 demographic I promise you will have fun. The most pinball machines I've seen outside of the Vegas museum. They have arcade cabinets that were rarely seen even back when they first released. (Ninja Baseball Batman!!!!!!) You shouldn't miss this place.
Wow... Just wow. This is a must visit location if you are into gaming. Huge selection of well maintained pinball machines. I doubt there is any other location in the state, or Alabama, Mississippi, georgia for that matter, with a better selection of arcade machines. Great value, family friendly place. I can't wait to get back to experience this place again. Great experience. If you are reading this to figure out if you should go set the phone down and put it in drive. Set aside several hours. I on
The coolest place in town!! Pinball, arcade games & such a fun time everytime we go. #nostalgic
This place is awesome! Every game you could ever want to play. We love to go as a family. Hours of fun at a great price. Just wish they repaired the games. The first 3 I tried to play were messed up.
Talk about bringing back some memories! To be able to sit down and play that game that you were never able to beat (did we ever really beat ANY of them?) all for only $10 is worth every penny. Dragons Lair, Mortal Kombat, House of the Dead, a virtual reality set up, and more pinball machines than you can count? I will say that it draws quite the eclectic crowd? But everybody was very friendly. This place is also deceptively large. Parking is in the back in the building just keeps on going! All in all I'm
Great place! A lot of flash backs by looking at the hundreds of arcade games I used to play: Pinball (real ones) , Pacman, Stargate Defender, etc.
Really cool games. Employees are rude and pretentious.
Game galaxy is always a nice walk down memory lane. Where you would spend the whole afternoon at the arcade. What I like best is the flat fee so you don't have to worry about wasting your quarters. There is a good collection of old time favorites as well as some rarer titles. The pinball collection is quite extensive as well. I highly recommend spending a few hours reliving your childhood or sharing the experience with the younger generation.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
