If you're in the columbus area, this is pretty slick! My brother knows some people in the business, and he brought me here and man, it's a great place to bring a few friends for a while. They have a bar with different all sorts of stuff you wouldn't really see playing on the TVs at different bars. Great atmosphere with like at least 70 Pcs set up. They have a couple racing Sims a handful of xbox/PS/nintendo consoles and a an outdoor patio that's in like a chill alley with a nice ambiance at night. Great
I was there with the seniors group from 10 am to 1 pm on Tuesday and had a blast. This is every Tuesday.
This place was absolutely fantastic!! I came for a senior event ?? The staff was the bomb!! I am looking forward to spending many days here?? my daughter loved it also??
This place was nice for my first time, I'm not a gamer girly but I thought it would be fun to try something new but it was hard to play the PC with my nails , only thing I can say wasn't good is that we barely got any game time the computer was slow the games took some time to download each game which we only got to play two and ran out of time mid game on the second one but I will be coming back soon to give it another try WITHOUT the nails this time , the food was soooo good I had the birria nachos and i
Came here Sunday December the 1st around 530 ordered a drink and food to go was told 15 minutes didn't get my order until almost 615 mind you I was the only one at the bar waiting on food it seems that the priority here is door dash the guy who took my order his name start with a "D" took my order and then he disappeared i had to ask the lady who just walked in on her shift about my food the guy looked to be drinking on the clock as well the owners can review camera worst experience i had while in ohio i wa
First time coming in and definitely glad we stopped by to check it out. The prices for the game times and food are both really good. We really enjoyed our meal, and the float really good too. More geared towards PC gamers but im sure their console collection will grow with time. The staff was super helpful and welcoming. And it was very chill and not crowded on a Wednesday night. Will come back again
Went for the midwest TFT columbus convergence event and everything went great - food and drinks were solid and priced well. Vibe was cool and so were the people I'd be happy to come back and check out all the other stations they had everything looked high quality. Seems like they're running a gaming center right - and as issue free as you can.
Payments for memberships used to be ez and convenient, they changed their softwere now games they have are harder to get into requiring more time that people pay for to be spent fixing the issue, they do add the time back however, some of the staff can be rude from time to time, food is great however, bar staff is nice and always ready to talk and chill, Game Arena seems to have taken a more event approach, and a lot of other aspects do need a little touch ups, they do tend to treat regulars a little differ
Great place to game nice vibe forsure recommend for a good time. Food I would stay away from. 2 times have been here with friends and each time food has been undercooked or raw. Was told would receive refund on meal from last time i was there still have not received will wait on update .
The Guacamole is bland, but the chicken teriyaki rice bowl and the Korean chicken burrito were both good. The lights are very saturated, and they played videos of people walking around with streets on the TV's while gamers played in the next room.
This is such an interesting concept, there is so much to do in this little area of Columbus. PC gaming rentals and you can drink? Talk about nerd heaven. I had so much fun and everyone was so nice to be around. It's good to feel at home! The space looks like you stepped directly into the future, and moreover, you kind of have ??
An amazing location! Perfect for anyone, with plenty of PCs, Consoles, and even F1 racing sims. With hours of games to play, delicious food and drink, and great people, GA is the perfect local gaming destination!
My son has gotten interested in video games and I do not play them. He has been asking me to buy a video game system and I don't want to spend hundreds on a system and games and accessories when I wouldnt use it. I came across Game Arena randomly via Google search. I told my son about it and we checked it out for the first time today. Game Arena exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The place is clean and orderly, which is something I pay attention to when I go public places. I have zero knowledge of t
Game Arena is hands-down one of the best places to game and hang out. The atmosphere is simply unmatched ? whether you're here to play competitively, casually, or just enjoy the vibe, it has something for everyone!
I'm not from Columbus so I didn't know where to start for my vacation but this place was and is amazing fun to for couples, children, or whomever. The atmosphere was amazing they have large varieties of games, didn't get to try to food only because the kitchen was not open. I most definitely plan on going back.
Went down tonight. played on console, was told there wasn't any availability for at least 15 minutes, even though there obviously were, but we got to play and it was really fun. Hot, though.
Brought my 10 year old and his friend for the first time. The staff here were amazing and were quick to help and explained everything. They were super attentive and patient. Prices are great, equipment is very clean, great atmosphere. Food was really good too! Will definitely be back.
Game Arena is one of the very best places in all of Columbus. The food and drinks are absolutely amazing and reasonably priced, with specials all through the week, so if you're trying to save money but still want a drink you can always get something for pretty cheap. Going to Tuesday Trials is the highlight of my week, with some of the kindest players and staff that I've ever met, and a very accepting community overall - it is one of those places in Columbus that I know will always be safe as a trans person
Wow! What a really cool place. Really well designed space with Pro gear and a really inviting vibe, even for people who don't consider themselves hardcore gamers. Food and drinks I had were excellent. Fantastic location and part of town. Only giving less than five stars because some of the computers/equipment need some maintenance and I spent quite a bit of my time waiting on an associate to repair the racing sim. He then gave me access to one of the pc gaming stations as compensation which froze before I c
I am not a gamer but the food and drinks ... delicious. The Korean fried chicken is a must.
Disappointing Experience for Casual Gamers and Newcomers We visited Game Arena in the Ohio State University District during a trip to Columbus, excited to try something new, but the experience was a complete letdown. This was a Sunday night with no events and not particularly crowded. Here's my review? - Disorganized Console Access: We came to play on consoles but were told ?the Switch would be free in 45 minutes.? Over an hour later, there was no follow-up, no system to track availability, and no effort to
I LOVE this place. It's got alot of comfy spots like couches and comfy chairs and stuff (something i struggle to find because all places have hard plastic uncomfortable seats usually). The game set ups are super cool! I love the set up they have for the PS4. I wish they had another spot similar with xboxone. The people that worked there were very welcoming and cool. The only thing that was a bit much was the loud music outside because we couldn't hear ourselves talk after it got dark outside. But that wasn'
Great place go every Tuesday 10-1 senior game with lunch and discuss media helpful to seniors
I wanted to say that smash brothers is the fire emblem fighting game, but they kept insisting it was the game arena fighting game. I think that is rather shoddy branding. I mean, that is just historical revisionism at that point.
Very wonderful first experience! All of the staff were very nice. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. There are many free activities. The lighting and signs definitely make for a cool experience. I plan on going back and may even host my birthday party there. ????
Went here for my 17 year old gamer son's birthday. He had a great time. We will come back when we have more time to hang. The staff was wonderful. We walked in on a Monday as a party of 8. They were extremely accommodating. Very helpful, as this Mom is not a gamer. They have loads of free board and card games. Drink prices reasonable and good pours. Takorea was good, and interesting choices.
Love this place, the employees were very helpful and the PCs can run all the games I needed to play
All the staff there are very polite and very kind people and legitimately make it a wonderful, welcoming place to be at. I had spent but one day there, and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. I did not even have to spend any money to want to come back, share with people this place, and absolutely think this place is worthy of much praise! Game Arena also has many great amenities and did not make me feel unsafe in any way. It was just a great experience, and the way it's organized sounds like something I alwa
Definitely coming back. @RMZe_vents
Surprisingly good food for a game lounge.
Incredible facility with such a fun vibe. You walk in and see the aesthetics right away. Colored lights everywhere, good music, and extremely friendly staff create such a good environment. 10/10 would highly recommend.
This place used to be nice when it was in Fishinger/Cemetery, there is a lot of issues down in campus.
This was an interesting place. The vibe was fun. There was a diverse group of people playing games on PCs and consoles. It was fun.
This place was so much fun good food my grandson had a ball.
The workers are very pleasant and patient. The computers there have a lot of games. The Koren-Mexican hybrid food is great. There is also a bar here, which is perfect.
We were coming into town for the EPL friendly, and had been looking for somewhere to eat that was walking distance to Ohio Stadium. Cocktails were very good, and all of the food was delicious! Tried the Korean fried chicken and birria burritos, and bulgogi rice bowl. We were also able to play some board games and sim racing while waiting out a couple of rain showers before walking to the stadium. We had a great experience, and would recommend Game Arena/TaKorea to anyone looking for food near High Street
The staff members were very respectful and accommodating to my 12 year old son and his friends every time I went there ( 8 and counting) . Naturally the kids have a lot of questions and concerns but the staff always and consistently answer their questions without being condescending and are very patient and polite. I have seen the place packed out and they somehow find a way to help everyone while providing a very fun experience for everyone. First rate equipment to game on including the gaming chair to sit
Probably one of the best places to hang out around campus once quarantine ends. It's got really good PCs and racing sims and a bar. I would highly recommend this place.
I took my son and his friend here this past Saturday. They had so much fun I took them again today. THEY LOVED IT!!! The staff is great, the environment is safe, and the facility Is uber clean. If you have a gamer child as I do, this is like heaven on earth. The option to order food and drinks from their gaming PC is brilliant. I mean really? Getting waited on while gaming. They can play individually or as a group. My son isn't into sports. So as a Mom it was great to see him interacting with other gamers
Cool place with friendly, helpful staff. My son's begs to visit
This place is actually awesome. Tons of PC setups and console setups. The staff is super friendly and are all passionate about games making the atmosphere of the place real energized and welcoming to gamers of all levels. And surprisingly, the food and drinks are extremely fair price which was really just the cherry on top. If you enjoy the gaming scene casually or competitively this place is worth checking out!
I attended for a fighting game tournament, it was hard to figure out where I need to go. When i did find someone they were helpful. Pretty nice place.
Had the wings-they are big and in my opinion best ones ive had so far, so would highly recommend u try them urself ..had a cple parties going on so didn't get to play on the ps console but my son still had fun playing on the other games!
I don't even know where to start. THIS. PLACE. IS. AWESOME. A facility so clean that you could eat off the bathroom floor. A super chill environment to meet new people with the same interests as you. Friendly staff that is more than helpful, and easy going. The amount of things you can do there is mind boggling. There's just so many things to play. Excellent, clean equipment, in a fun environment with great prices for what you can do there. And the food is excellent. THEY HAVE FRIGGIN BUBBLE TEA, GUYS!!!! I
My 11 year old had a blast. It was great for him and his cousins. We were in a separate room that fit 10 people. The adults still had room to talk and chat. Everyone was great with helping us with the party. Best thing about it, the kids enjoyed themselves. I will do it again.
So what i like about this place is where you get to use their equipment. They stay on top of it. Cost wise it a pretty good. They do have game tournament there and to get in cost wise is good for your pocket. Staff is great. I would go there again but with a group and get down on some games. Downside is can't bring in food or drinks. But they also serve food there and a stake n shake is close by. Other then that it's a great way to meet people. And have people join you while playing a game.
This place is amazing! Equipment is beautiful, everything is gamer-oriented to make it a worthwhile experience. The team was so kind and attentive which was great for a birthday party! The snacks were yummy, air-fried, and a included a decent selection. Happy the kid chose it.
Honestly, if you're a gamer or just someone who can't afford to pay for a high expensive PC experience but want to play the most mainstream games right now, this is the place. I'm honestly happy to come here every week on Friday's for the Fight Night which basically allows you to bring your own PC or console and play fighting games with a lot of like-minded people as well. They're always there to teach and to play all sorts of games, so I highly recommend to come even as just a visit. Really nice staff as w
Absolute vibe, the interior feels like a futuristic alleyway with streetfood vendors, I love it. The food was great and their custom cocktails are super unique! I got the Hidden Korok, tacos bulgogi eggrolls and they were delicious. The game selection they have is pretty wide, I ended up playing Golf with Friends with my girlfriend for a long time and we had a blast! The pricing is really good to, in my opinion and while I was there, there was a DJ playing, I loved this place.
Game Arena is a really laid back place to go enjoy some video games on some good rigs that you didn't have to spend a fortune on. Their prices are extremely reasonable, they have some good food and drink options, and plenty of great games to pick from. Definitely check this place out, even if you e got a great setup at home, getting out and gaming around others is a unique experience and you might even find yourself some new friends to game with!
The most fun place i have been in a while. Game themed drinks. I personally get Spyro's spark. Also there food is delicious. The perfect game night for friends and families. Game system are even offered at a low rate per hour. Computer games are a little higher per hour. still worth every dime spent.
I visited here a couple weeks ago while filming for a short documentary. We called ahead to ask, but when we arrived the workers and the players alike were super kind and helpful! The place is huge and has a wide range of consoles to play on and snacks to eat! It's a great place and if I lived closer I'd probably utilize it more often!
Great place, they are professional. Prices are very fair, and coming for the all day pass on Tuesday for only $10 is super worth it. As an adult, it can get pretty noisy at times with the huge amount of kids playing accelerating games like fortnite. Apart from that its a great place to play, and try out a bunch of new games.
We played 2 days in a row at Game Arena for our regional matches for eSports Ohio. The location and people were very nice and helpful. Having plenty of PCs and space to hangout was very cool. The snack bar is definitely an appreciated added benefit. I highly recommend checking this place out!
I LOVE THIS PLACE! Ive thrown my birthday party two times here and the staff has been nothing but wonderful and so helpful. I love how clean and organized this place is. My favorite game to play here is gang beasts and I always share it with all of my friends. I love checking out their food menu but I have a sweet tooth and love carolyns bakery i believe is what it is called.
This place has so much going for it in the eSports field. Though the venue does seem a tad small, the space is utilized nicely to make sure everyone/group are comfortable. Internet can hold up to everyone playing their own games on the 40+ gaming PCs, along with a few active streams going. The cafe area has a good variety of drinks (pop + alcoholic ones), along with insanely good food with prices that are super fair. I wish Michigan had a place like this.
Fun place to talk games with people. Food and drinks are fantastic.
This place is awesome! We were warmly greeted by Ken upon arrival. He gave us a full tour of the place and explained where everything was. At first, I was a little worried that my 8 and 9 year olds would have trouble gaming on the computers because they never had before. Ken assisted with showing them how to do it but ended up hooking each of them up with ?scuff? controllers which resembled PlayStation controllers in my opinion. It made it much easier for the boys to game. Each gaming station is set up with
I have been working on booking an event with Dana Moore and he is a fabulous Assistant GM. He's very helpful, attentive and understanding. Would recommend this location simply because of my interaction with him.
Went with 3 other guys who are not PC gamers and we all had a blast. Spent most of the day their playing a variety of new and old games. PC's can be setup with controllers which made my friends happy. (They do have a variety of consoles etc, but we were trying to play a particular game) They had some pre-made drinks that were good and super friendly host/staff. Highly recommend. Intend on getting one of the smaller private rooms soon.
This is my kinda place. The are tons of gaming PCs, consoles, and even 2 excellent racing sims. It also has a bar with excellent unique drinks. Seriously, try out the peach old fashioned. Lastly, the food was excellent! They even have milkshakes. What more could you possibly ask for? It was a great time and it had only been open for a few days when I visited. I'm excited to see what it will look like when Campus opens back up.
This place is AMAZING! Remarkable ownership that gets it! It is an experience from the moment you walk in the door...and then you get to sit in these ridiculously awesome chairs, play on state-of-the-art computers and gaming systems, and connect with other people with similar interests. Well done! Looking forward to bringing our staff to this innovative venue for team building and collaboration!
Its a really good place to go if you want to play with your friends and its pretty cheap and super clean. one downside is that you can't bring your own food and drinks but they have a cafe and its pretty good but it takes a while for the food to come out but its hot and fresh so I don't mind and I recommended it to anyone who wants to make some new friends or play casual games or compete in friendly video game tournaments. 5/5
Wonderfully helpful, and friendly staff, with a laid-back atmosphere; this place is perfect for a night out with friends, or for finding good personal gaming time. The systems are high quality, the food is lovely, and the chairs are comfy. What more could you ask for?
Great facility, TONS of systems (4 rows of 14 plus the Arena?) everything is very clean and high quality. Staff was extremely attentive and helpful. I showed up randomly during the middle of a busy tournament and they found me a spot and took time to help get set up with an xbox controller. Thanks guys!
Been here multiple times, mainly for Super Smash Bros. Melee events and every time they always deliver such well ran events, listen to criticism from previous events to further improve and provide a better overall experience. The food is surprisingly tasty and thought out(the chicken quesadilla is actually very tasty, highly recommend), prices all around are fair and cheap. If you have a few hours to spare and wanna play some games you don't have for PC or wanna game with your friends right next to each oth
Love the new edition to the gaming arena a lot closer than the Hillard location.
Amazing experience here. As a gamer I have not found a single flaw in this facility. Truly remarkable staff. 0 issues. Computers here run absolutely amazingly and the people here are amazing. Great place to game and the selection here is AMAZING. This place makes me love living here!!
I can't believe this place has been open for years & we are just now finding out about it. Our boys (ages 10 & 11) loved it & we will definitely be back. The staff were super friendly & accommodating. Definitely recommend for those who love gaming.
Very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Super clean. We had a birthday party and all the kids loved it. We had a two uour plan and we were not rushed at all. Actually went over a half hour and no push to get done. This a great place for 10 year olds that are into gaming.
Ken was absolutely a pleasure to work with. It was SPOTLESS in this business. Even though there are so many people in and out of this establishment, they keep it extremely clean, especially during times of COVID. I have zero doubt in my mind that if I went to Game Arena asking about literally anything in the gaming world, Ken and his workers would know the answers. They have EVERYTHING, including a wall full of retail items you can buy. I would say, if they haven't already, to make Game Arena shirts for peo
A better place to eat than to play video games imo. Spent the beginning of my time there at the bar, had a Korean Fried Chicken Burrito and a few Shimmers to drink. Both items were absolutely fantastic. As far as the gaming arena, my party and I had a ton of fun, but not without problems. The process of signing in and downloading/updating games (we played Valorant, CoD, and Rocket League on the PCs as well as FIFA, Mario Kart, and Smash Bros on the consoles) was quite cumbersome and took a while to get eve
This place is fantastic. The equipment is top notch, the food is great, and the people that come here are like minded and friendly! The only thing holding me back from giving 5 stars is one of the women who works here is going absolutely mental every time i?ve seen her. She is always screaming swear words at the top of her lungs, threatening to dq people constantly, insulting particpants to their face, and she just has a very aggressive tone. I understand that managing a lot of people is difficult and stres
Awesome spot, great staff, high end equipment. Perfect spot to get your buddies together for a gaming night. They also sell cold ones so you don't have to worry about booze ???????
Loads of gaming PCs and space for console gaming. Very friendly staff who are happy to help with any issues you may have using their equipment. You can play games on store accounts, or log in to your own. They also have food and drinks available and you can order from whatever computer you're on. They'll bring your food to your station and have you pay with cash or a credit card.
Great place to hang out!
Clean awesome place to go to! I visit GA weekly to join a weekly super smash bros tournament. I can't say enough about how well organized, clean, and friendly the employees are. I've never encountered any problems here, and with comfy Maxinomic seating and Hyper X headsets it's a great place to bring your kid obsessed with Fortnite or yourself to enjoy a good game of PUBG. The venue has several TVs streaming the hottest streamers like Ninja, The Doctor, ZeRo, Nairo, etc. The venue also offers food inside,
This new location is honestly super fricking cool. The neon lights everywhere, gaming PCs, racing?s sims, giant bar, VIP area, etc. I could go on forever. Seriously, so much fun. And they are doing a really great job at keeping everyone safe with temp checks, masks required, sanitizing and cleaning constantly, etc. Loved it!
Tons to do with friends or meet new people who game! The bartender John is incredibly friendly and always makes sure we have a good time. Definitely gonna make this place a regular stop.
This will be sort of a lengthy review, starting off with the community that is introduced the second you step into the facility, every single worker there is friendly, every time you ask them something or call the staff over too your pc they always have a smile on there face, especially spencer. Spencer is probably the most friendly worker at a business that I have ever went too. He is always offering a helping hand no matter what and never has a bad attitude. I have never had a bad experience while inside
They charged me 25 for nothing and I tipped good
About 13 years ago my friends and I found an internet cafe that was trying to cater to gamers. This was in the space that is currently occupied by Taste of Orient. It was long counters and places to plug in and the odd machine taken from a business liquidation auction. It went under in a month. I still loved it. This is the ultimate realization of that same dream and it's ridiculous how much I would have loved to be here at age 18-25. Wow. And the food and drinks aren't bad either. Better than the $5 resol
Really unique experience, drove 2.5 hours for a rocket league Tournament then was asked to cast on stream after being knocked out. Pcs are becoming increasingly.out of date but will still get 60fps on most games. Would reccomend and will return within the month :)
Great place to have some fun with video games on PC and Consoles. I went for their new VR setup. They only have one VR headset so far and a dozen games for it (Beat Saber, Half Life:Alyx, Super hot, etc). They also have snacks, food, and drinks avails for purchase.
The place for following eSports, and a meeting spot for the fighting game community every Tuesday! The EXTREMELY underrated TaKorea also shares this venue, having some of the best korean fried chicken in the city for an unmatched ambiance and environment.
This place is awesome. Great food, drinks, & vibe!
Okay this place has really changed over the years. For the better! Also, literally the best birria tacos in town are here! Friendly staff, lots of smiles, good food and fun events!
Fun and friendly environment, covers everything from casual to semi-professional play with top of the line machines and equipment. Food is a little pricey but other than that Game Arena is a great place for people to enjoy gaming.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
