Galaxy Games & Golf

Galaxy Games & Golf

Reviews Summary

Galaxy Games and Golf offers affordable, nostalgic fun with a mix of arcade games, mini-golf, and a large indoor play area, especially popular with young children. Many praise the reasonable prices, friendly staff, and decent mini-golf, though some note maintenance issues, outdated equipment, and occasional overcrowding. Food receives mixed reviews, often described as average but fairly priced. Cleanliness is inconsistent, with some concerns about hygiene in the play areas. While most families enjoy their visits, a few report significant negatives like poor management, safety issues, or accessibility problems for special needs children. Was a great place, had incredible signs and turf. I loved how the roof had a massive skylight a little too bright for my taste. Would come back toke a couple signs for keep sakes and turf to put in my yard. Didn't steal it just appeared in trunk after I pulled it off.

Reasonably priced place for kids. It's not super clean but was okay. They have 9 and 18 hole Golf, Arcade games and Gym play area. But you need to observe your kid in gym play area as no worker pay attention there. Couple of games were broken. Overall kids have a good time and enjoyed 9 hole golf and arcade games.

A cheap place to let the kids run off some energy indoors! Could use some updating and the presence of a security guard raises questions about the area, but my kids of varying ages love their 3 story play gym! Play area is contained and has a separate toddler area. Socks are required in play gym. Miniature golf course is fun and clean. Bathrooms are updated. Very nice deck area in the back!

This place is awesome we have been taking our daughter there since she was 1 ..i will continue to take my daughter the play place is huge and she loves it plus the arcade is reasonable she gets stuff with tickets and the food there isnt to bad we always try to get something while there. The prices are very affordable. If you want something for your little ones to do i recommend this place 100%

Fun for kids ... I wrote this review six years ago and hind sight being what it is, this place is underrated, the indoor play area is enclosed, one way in, one way out, I can sit by the entrance/exit and my kid can run all over the place while (for the most part) still being in my view. It allows for me to catch up on reading or call those people that I been meaning to call but I know they'll end up talking to me for an hour or two. I think its like less than $5 a kid for unlimited play in the play area. T

I took my daughter there for her best friends birthday party. We got 1 party room and there was a bunch of others going on at the same time. So the place was packed. The pizza was pretty good for a place like this. They played in the indoor play area and it was packed full of kids who were running around pushing and shoving to go down slides and climb through tunnels. I thought it was ridiculous and there was no authority to keep these kids in check.

The roof is literally collapsing a bit right now, over the play area. We had a lot of fun until we heard some cracking and saw some plaster falling. Shocking! The employees gave us a nice prize :) No one is hurt and the handful of other guests all left too. Two employees are still inside. They're concerned I think but choosing to stay....

Fun gym or indoor playground closed until further notice ?? ???????

when I was little, this was the place I loved it so much even though I got Lost in it multiple times

We was hoping this place would have reopened, my autistic son loved this place. Just today when I was getting off the freeway on to Wilson rd, he started to say, this way!, this way!. Wanted to go to the place he was comfortable playing. He will not go to a new location, changes to unfamiliar conditions, makes his upset. I really hope the owner finds a way to bring this place back

The Fun Gym is a good, cheap place for les bebes to blow off some steam on a rainy day. Sitting on the porch by the waterfall on the putt putt course is the most relaxing place on the west side.

Great friendly staff great prices can't beat this kind of fun my kids love dressing up in costumes and playing

Had a birthday party here for my six year old. She had a blast and the room was decorated and clean. They provided plates, pizzas, drinks, and such. The place overall wasn't the cleanest... And the toys are right next to where they cook food. They could do more to build a wall and make a "kitchen area". The staff were very friendly and treated her like a princess. The games were fun but some weren't working well. Two of the three tickets muncher machines were out of order. It had rained forever so the

Wish this place would reopen! So fun for the family! My kids miss going here. Had plenty of birthday parties here too. I remember going to this galaxy location when I was a child. Hope they get to reopen. ??????????

Is beginning to age but all around great place!!! Friendly staff, great prices compared to Magic Mountain, and generally clean as can be expected with kids running everywhere. Birthday parties are very fun and good value but they force you to buy their food. Have 5 kids and have been going here for 18+ years. By far our go to fun place...

The kids really enjoyed it. There were a lot of good age appropriate activities. However, my son peed in the ball pit. We told the employees and all they did was spray it down with Lysol. If that's how they are going to handle something like that, I don't want to bring my kids back there again. We'll find a different place next time.

My husband and I took my 2 yo and 6 month old on a Saturday. We purchased a pizza and the play gym ticket for our 2 yo. It was very busy but we were able to get a table and eat surprisingly quick. We had our 6 mo old in the stroller and had to stick it back in the car after eating as there just was t a lot of room to lug him around. Their rule is you have to get up and leave the table as soon as you're done eating so the next family can sit down and eat. You can't leave your stuff at a table while everyone

I went there only once with my almost-1-year-old, and was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience! Quite a value, other parents there are even pretty positive & courteous, & the staff was still a summertime employee base (A.K.A. mostly kids & students themselves!!) but so knowledgeable, helpful, & handling the weekend business like pros. Thanks guys and keep doing an awesome job ?? Truly impressed.

Warning don't go at afternoon on the weekends as with birthday parties it can be crowded. We went at 10 in the morning and it wasn't too crowded until well after 11. It cost $3-6 for kids depending on age to play in the gym. You can also buy tokens for games. The game area has seen it's better days. This is perfect place for 3-8 year olds.

I've been bringing my daughter here since her 1st birthday. She loves it! In the past few months since then I've brought my younger siblings, cousins and nieces/nephews. They all have left happy and very tired ???? Great place to take kids. I also came with friends to play mini golf and they all enjoyed it too especially the outdoor scenery with the waterfall/ponds and nature. I plan on scheduling my daughter's 2nd birthday party here. Can't beat the prices and the staff is very welcoming and helpful whenev

FOR THOSE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN: my daughter has autism and doesnt like socks either. She made plenty of suggestions. We went and bought a 99cent pair of flip flops and since they were brand new she allowed my daughter to play in the jungle gym with the new flops. She made plenty of accommodations for our daughter and was very very friendly. The place is amazing and the prices cant be beat. Only complaint is the arcade. A lot of the games are broken or eat our coins. But for the price I cant complain

We went here for a birthday party over the weekend. The staff was very friendly! surprisingly enough the pizza was pretty good! The kids enjoyed the game room and absolutely loved running through their gym area. They offered a cart for the party host to help take things to and from the vehicle. Im considering doing our parties here going forward.

Bring your hand sanitizer, it was crowded but the kids had a blast and definitely a place to come back to - inexpensive fun. If you eat there tables are limited and space was tight - not great for strollers - but the tables turn quickly. Parking lot is tight, it can get crazy in there but despite it all this place is great!

Very affordable fun place. Decent food. Staff is nice. It can be rather busy but the staff manages it well. It's a very clean place. Conveniently located right off the freeway. Plenty of fun and activities. I definitely don't mind taking my kids here for an hour or two just so they can enjoy themselves. Great place to have a birthday party.

My number one place to take the kids, the jungle gym is great for them to run around and play. The arcade is fun for my eldest kids, while some are closed for social distancing still plenty of fun. The food is my only knock, not that good and limited menus for covid reasoning. During the summer the mini golf is great for the whole family.

I've only ever been to the play gym and it was great! $3 per child and they can run and play as they wish. They also had a 5 and under area for my Lil boy and he (18 months old) had a blast. The only thing is that it gets quite busy and hectic. A lot of kids running everywhere.

As a play area I highly recommend it, especially for younger kids...5 and below. Didn't go to game area so not sure about that experience. As for a birthday party...would not recommend it. The room they reserved for us was way too small. People standing in hallway, everyone tripping over one another. I would certainly expect to not be treated like a sardine for $300.

My son loves this place. For me it's a budget friendly kid/mom escape for a couple of hours. While it doesn't have modern advances of typical arcades it is a mini golf site. It does have a comfort feeling that reminds me of home. And the staff is typically super nice!

We love this place. It's reasonably priced and there's a lot to do! The arcade is a great size, the mini golf is decently laid out, and the kids love the FunGym. The food isn't spectacular, but it's priced reasonably and definitely not the worst pizza I've ever eaten.

Not bad pricing. Very crowded parking. Game room.is kind of small. Play area is large and has nice toddler area. Mini golf is fun. Over all not bad but seen better places. Also kind of hard to find from the road.

The kids LOVE this place. It's affordable and fun for the kids to run off some energy in the fun gym, and perfect for the pre-teens/teens to play in the arcade. The mini golf is fantastic and there is a beautiful Brie over the coarse from the top of the small mountain. Plus one hole is inside of it which is so cool. This is a great and affordable place and I suggest bringing kids here!

This place is so nostalgic! I was going to make a post about this place asking if anyone could help me identify it because I couldn't remember it. Glad I found out what my old favorite place was called.

Firstly the price is not bad at all! I paid $4.99 for my 3 year old to be able to get in. I do think they need to update some of the toys one of the rocking horses my daughter was on had the handles missing, they seemed to have the same toys each time I go there. No biggie but it would be nice to have more toys and variety for smaller children. Another thing is the gaming area is very compact not alot of room to move around, and alot of games were broken which is understandable but a bummer. Overall the exp

Great place for kids to play games and on a indoor playground

Games, Golf & Fun Gym are all reasonably priced. Food is a bit pricey. They have started making sure kids keep their socks on :) Always clean. Great place for kids parties. They can be hard to contact because it gets loud so expect to leave a Vmail and wait for a callback.

Our kids have gone there so many times for parties and for play, always friendly, always clean. Great value for the money! They are also very generous to local charities, especially our Stefanie's Team of Hope Peloton. Great place!!

A variety of fun things to do for the kids. If you book a party, they display your child's name on the board but some of the rooms are kind of small. You can pay extra for the VIP room but it's not worth it. Kids have fun here which is the most important part

Nice inexpensive place to bring little ones to run off some of that extra energy. I liked that there is a big kids area and one more centered towards smaller children. And there was two ball pits which was really nice. Didn't get any food or play in the arcade part so no comments on those.

Love this place, kids love the place, SUPER affordable for any size family. Only complaint is not even against them. It's against the parents who let their snotty nosed kids run around leaking snot everywhere. WIPE YOUR KIDS NOSES. Thanks for giving us a cheaper option and less crowded option than Magic Mountain :)

Sort of like magic mountain but to me they have a better jungle gym here. Have been twice, once with my sisters who loved it and again with my nieces who loved it as well. It's a great affordable and fun place to take children!

Love this place. The toddler toys needs a little attention. If I wasn't watching grandbabies could have been hurt on a couple of them. 1 not together 3 pieces leaning up. Two ride ons with missing handles. And a shopping kart that is broken plastic. I have been bring my kids and grandkids here for years. Great staff. Reasonably priced. Fun day adventure for the kids.

Super cheap. Never long waits to golf. Enjoyable 9 hole & 18 hole courses. All arcade games are quarters not tokens. Love it so much, i have gone once a week for the past 3 weeks & will continue. Bring the kids, they'll love it too.

This is a great place for kids! There is miniature golf, a game room and a large indoor play gym. The game room and the play gym can be enjoyed any time of year. They offer simple food options and pizza as well as hosting birthday parties. This place tries harder than larger, similar chains and that shows in better service and maintenance to their facility.

It's okay. The price for the gymnasium was a little steep in my opinion considering it's almost 5 bucks a kid for a large version of a fast food play zone . The arcade is average but you can win tickets and the prize prices are not extremely high. The game prices were absolutely excellent being almost one token per game. Some of the arcade games are broken so watch out. The bathroom, at least the boys room was a little grimey but they had the right idea with little stools the kids can stand on to use the ad

Galaxy is a fun place to take small children early in the day during the week. On weekends it's unbearably crowded. The maximum age for the fun gym is 10. There are arcade games to earn tickets for prizes. You can purchase pizza and soda. The fun gym has an area for kids 4 and under but I wish a staff person would enforce it. We have had two birthday parties there and were satisfied with the room and food.

This was always one of my favorite places to take the kids when they were little. ***SO*** much better than Chuck E Cheese in my opinion because your kids are not just occupied by video games, they're wearing themselves out in the GIGANTIC 2-story indoor playground with ball pit(s) and slides and punching bags. Pizza is pretty good. Games are geared more towards kids who are 6 and under. it's NEVER packed and there's a mini golf course outside! I don't understand why more parents don't bring their kids

Kids were having fun. Me not so much. I understand having a clean establishment but starting the vacuuming 45mins before closing was a bit much. It made us feel like they were trying to kick us out. Gave me really high anxiety. I asked the worker to please wait until it was actually closed an she said the boss wants it done "now". She was rude about it and kept on sweeping around a bunch of kids who were still playing.

I love this place! I'd love to bring my nephew here! Is it ever open anymore? I can not tell if it's closed or open or if they're still fixing the roof or like what!

We had my daughter?s bday party here and 10/10 would recommend it to anyone. The price was more than fair and the kids had an amazing time. The staff went above and beyond for our group and the entire experience was exactly what you want from a kids party!!! Thanks so much Galaxy Games and Golf ????

We took my nephew here for a fun night out. We ordered the special that came with a one topping pizza, pitcher of pop, two wrist bands, and so many game tokens. The pizza was okay but not as great as Chuck E. Cheese. The play area was dirty. The games did not always work and it was disappointing that some games needed as many as 4 tokens to play.

We met for a playdate and had never been. We only did the playground area and it was fine. My biggest issue was that they are very specific that there are no outside food or drink allowed inside. Their website lists food and the prices are reasonable however they literally have no ready serve food available so if you want a hot dog or pretzel you literally have to wait 20-40 minutes in the line behind everyone else's order to get it. I can understand a small wait to have a pizza made but a hot dog in 40 min

Huge play place and cheap for the kids. The arcade is small, a few good games. Pizza was not great. I'd probably bring my toddlers back here to play, but would recommend eating somewhere else. Did not try the putt putt course, but it looks amazing.

My granSon had a wonderful time celebrating his 1st birthday. However many of the machine were not contexted. There needs to be more food choices. The people working there were very kind and caring.

A lot of fun for a very reasonable price. Great place to take kids to burn energy when they have to be indoors. The facility is a little dated and feels a little grungy but overall the kids have a great time!

Relatively clean, but ?insanely? busy. It was difficult to enjoy yourself in a sea of screaming, however if on a less busy day (went on a Saturday) I could see it as a good indoor option for small children.

Best place indoors for my grandchildren. Enough space to run off energy. Games with prizes is another fun activity for them. Went when it was NOT super crowded so easier to navigate. Convenient location, inexpensive, friendly & attentive staff. My grandchildren love it!

This place is really cool to take your young ones too especially during the weekdays when everyone's at work. They have a gigantic indoor jungle gym that's pretty cool during the winter months. They also have a smaller arcade section that's decent. I haven't eaten any of their food but it doesn't look anything to write home about. Most of the groups I see eating their Pizza seemed to enjoy. I'm knocking off 1 star due to some of the maintenance issues of the arcade section. I'd say 1/4 of their games are g

Great place to take your children for a game of putt putt, or video games, or even better a large play area with tubes and tunnels and 3 ball pits. They offer party rooms for birthdays. Our family of 4 goes for unlimited time in the gym/play area - adults are free with children and each child is $4.99. Very inexpensive with money left over for pizza too

3/18 Fun for kids. Its really small for an arcade, but has a big indoor play area. Its in a really bad place with homeless people everywhere. Staff were nice, we didnt have any issues. But like I said, homeless everywhere, and its back in a bunch of trucking warehouses.

Our kids love going here. Gave it four stars because the game machines always eat our coins. Seems like the gym gets played on hard because we noticed things have been looking worn out or falling apart since we first started going there. But the gym is still our kids favorite part of the place.

Won't ever come this place again! Reserved a room for my son, had a party literally two months before everything was fine! Also had a few different parties here never had a problem! But after today never again! we wanted to do a small little party under five kids, Also the place was empty!!!! but the guy refused to allow me! To have cupcakes nothing more and one box! in the small commons area out front! Which I thought was okay because I've been here plenty of times and seen people doing it! Also on my son

Pretty decent prices but really not that much room for sitting down if you want to enjoy eating... Play area is pretty good alot of room just keep an eye out for your little ones as the older kids may trample of them. Overall decent place.

We love Galaxy. It's small, which can be annoying when they're packed, but it's nice too because I'm able to keep track of my little one easier. He's almost 2 and very independant but he has a blast. My 13 year old can enjoy it just as much, he'll usually play games or golf. I recently went out on miniature golf course for the first time and it is amazing, absolutely beautiful! It's way better than Magic Mountain, in my opinion, they have a huge waterfall with a cave behind it that you can walk through, the

Parking was a nightmare, I had to park in a mud pit. And people were toking up in the parking lot. The staff seemed friendly, and the laughing and screaming children brought a smile out. I feel overall a cheap way to entertain if you don't mind the crazy antics of the Westside.

Horrible and dirty place. My son was punched by another kid and the staff seemed to think that was okay. Offered us a gift card to return. Hahaha I would never go back there and put my children in such great danger. Was threatened by another adult and the mall cop who patrols the parking lot was worthless. I am disgusted by the way we were treated by the people there and the staff. I would not take your kids there, policy is never followed and the place is filthy dirty. Run by a bunch of kids and the manage

The lady at desk was very nice. My kids socks was black when we left though. It Makes me wander how they clean the inside of that play yard and if the plastic balls get wiped down.

We came on a Friday. Around 2 & it was just us all day. The kids had a blast. The prices are low & theres allot to do. 5 stars. We will definitely be coming back :)

We Had a birthday party for my granddaughter and it was a good time

Awful place. Dirty and stinky. Way over crowded. The food was low quality and overly priced. I would not recommend anyone come here under any circumstance. Tokens taken kids hit in the face. I'm sure there was fire codes broken passed capacity.

This is a fun place to take the kids. The gym is definitely the best value at $5 per kid for the day (10 and under only). It can get a bit crowded and crazy. Sometimes the older kids will get a bit rough.

My grandchildren and I spent an evening there. The 7 and 9 year old played for 2 hours in the climbing jungle then we had pizza and played the arcade games. They won tickets which they used to buy cheap little toys (but they were excited and pleased). The next day we played miniature golf there.

My grandfather took my kids here last Sunday and the kids had a man tell them he had a gun and was going to kill them and showed them his gun. my grandfather told the nearest worker and she said they had 3 other kids tell them the same thing so he asked what they was going to do about it and the lady said the manager just told her to look for him. my grandfather and kids got there things and left, he seen the manager on the way out and asked what she was going to do about it. she then said that 3 other kids

My daughter and I attended a birthday party for one of her classmates. Galaxy Games and Golf was easy to find and had a reasonable amount of parking, but it didn't seem to be very clean or maintained. Several of the games were out of order, and at least one of the main exits of the play land area, with a small slide, went directly into wooden benches. It seemed like it could be an easy way for a speedy little one to lose a couple of milk teeth through collision. The ticket counter machine seemed like it wou

They either need to turn their air conditioning up or have it fixed. It was SO hot that the entire party was wet from sweat. It was miserable! There were several broken or ragged games that needed to be fixed. Overall, it was just a hot mess. The party room was way smaller than I expected and definitely won't be back.

A lot of broken games. The play area is cheap at $5! Kids have a lot of fun. Smells like bleach so you know they clean. Pizza however, was awful; tasted like cardboard.

Has an indoor jungle gym/play place with several ball pits, slides, monkey bars for kids, and their adults- It's fun as a grown-up to get to play with your little in a big play structure. This large play area is attached to a smaller play space for kids 5 and under, secluded from the older more rambunctious kids. Socks are required, and offered for sale for $1 (adult or child) if you forget. Galaxy also has a small arcade area that rewards tickets to trade in for the usual prizes at the counter. It also h

Very reasonably priced. The mini golf area was surprisingly high quality, with varied terrain and lots of trees. Indoor play area was old but well maintained and kids loved it

It was okay had lots of play area my only complaint is that some of the stuff was broken and had sharp edges that couldve hurt my baby in the smaller kid area. Not enough selection of games either. It was fun and wasnt packed and the staff was friendly on a positive note

Pros: enormous indoor jungle gym made for all different ages and skill level, parents can even climb. Game area with tokens, easy ticket check out. Putt putt. Less expensive than chuck e. Cheese. Cons: not as clean as chuck e. Cheese. Game area is in a confined space.

Not sure what I think about the food... but for a great day of indoor fun it's hard to beat. Decently clean and cheap prices to play as long as the kids want. Glad a friend referred this to me, now hopefully I do the same

It's kind of dirty inside and there were a ton of people smoking right next to the front entrance and the entrance to the course which seemed strange. The course itself was really cool though and we had a lot of fun but I wouldn't want to take my children here again.

This place is a mess. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. If you leave a bad review on Facebook they will remove it. I've seen kids with no socks and no one has ever had a problem with it. But you wanna prevent a special needs child from playing cause he CANT wear socks is complete bullcrap. I've seen kids climbing on the outside of the gym all the way to the top and when I reported it to staff the employees did nothing. But socks is a issue. As a mother of a beautiful autistic boy I will not come he

Let's be honest: Galaxy isn't Disney World. Its dingy, its dated. Its a little run down, and could definitely use a weekly deep cleaning. That said, in the spirit of "you get what you pay for", we love Galaxy Games and Golf. Its a cheap place to bring the kids on a dreary day to burn off some energy. Everyone in the family from babies to grandparents can have fun here, and not break the bank doing so.

It's always so packed! They definitely need to make it bigger to accommodate all the people on and I've seen parents argue over the kids throwing balls at eachother lol. Other than that it's cheap and the kids love it.

I used to work at a place like this many many many years ago. Shortly after I left the place went under. I get that same vibe from here. The mini golf course needs some serious work, the inside is much like nasty chuck e cheese and then there's the play area. It's located in the weirdest spot which is a pain in the butt to drive through because of all the trucks in the business park. Don't expect much but it's an alright alternative for the kids to run around and play in the play area.

Great family time. Kids had a blast as always & my favorite part is that the play area is big enough for parents to participate in the fun with their children ??

The absolute worst customer service I've ever received. They wouldn't let us open my son's birthday presents there and we're so rude to us made the little guy cry. Just obserd. I highly recommend not doing any family activities here.

We had a great time! The staff is very helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a child's party!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
