The fields are all turf, including the outfield. The turf is hard, so the ball rolls to the fences with ease if a player cannot stop the ball. The netting on the fencing is not secured properly to the fence and can get in the way when a fielder is trying to pick up a ball at the outfield fence. Needs more bathrooms. Bathrooms are not maintained well, running out of soap, paper towels, and overflowing trash. Parking is crowded, especially around Field 6. The tournament was fine, but most of the umpires do
Not a bad set of fields. The turf is nice, concert around to walk on, high backstops and lots of practice area. Needs more bathrooms, concession windows and seating. Lots of the protective pvc and other ground stuff is busted up so maybe some up keep maintenance time. Just a few coats of safety paint would give a better first impression. Parking is crowded and if a few cars go the wrong way or park odd it throws it off, maybe some arrows down to direct traffic. I do like the playground in the middle so t
Nice complex . It is mostly turf fields . Some have turf infields and grass or dandelion outfields . Concessions are better than most . Lots of different options available. I also like there are separate food and drink lines. Couple maintenance issues. Spraying weeds in the outfield and fixing lots of netting . There is a hole in top of the Batting cage . Random Baseballs go flying everywhere . Overall it's a good to great complex . Definitely would come back again
Run by an amazing family. The staff are mostly you g kids which allows them to have a job they have some passion about. Great facility
It was a nice facility. The concession stand had decent food. Only 4 stars because I think it is ridiculous to charge a gate fee and not allow any food or drinks in when they already change to play in the tournament.
Clean and nicely laid out complex. Restrooms centrally located and clean. Playground for younger siblings to play, also centrally located, making it easy to watch everyone. We have been coming to tournaments here for years, and it never disappoints.
We recently ordered dinner from the Future Champions kitchen, also included is the currently online posted menu. We ordered several items from the menu as a ?carry out order ?. Even though, when the kitchen is closed, we were able to pre order our dinner via text message to Adam and everything was ready for pick up at our convenience. My reviews are from my personal experience and my own opinions. I will share our choices for dinner. We began with the ?Starters? that included Loaded pulled pork nachos, brea
Great food and fun family atmosphere! The Philly is phenomenal and that season on the fries is great! Highly recommend.. They also have great chicken strips and burgers. Hope to try more of the menu in the future but those 3 things have been great for my family! (5 star review for the restaurant!)
The facility is nice but the restaurant on the day we ate was mediocre at best. It wasn't busy and took 1hr, 15min for a pretzel, chicken fingers, burger, tenderloin. Only thing hot were the fries.
We had Philly cheese steak sandwich, pulled pork nachos, hamburger, pork chop sandwich and a brat...large portions and very good. Service was friendly and attentive, beer was cold, games for kids...only two things, poor acoustics as it was very noisy for only being a few customers. The location is a little difficult to find needing better signage.
Food is amazing. Great place to bring the kids. Parents can have cocktails while the kids play in the arcade area. Great place to watch a game, gotta be 20 huge tv's there. Bathrooms are the cleanest in Jacksonville.
The food is amazing, AC in the new restaurant is nice and cold, plenty of drinks to choose from! The Philly sandwiches are so good! And not sure what seasoning they put on the fries but they are perfect.
Place it well taken care of fields are great
Just a few things to share before you go. 1. Parking is really bad! 2. No bullpens to warmup pitchers and no room on the field to do it as well. 3. They do not take credit cards or Debit Cards. Cash only but you can use the ATM WITH A $3.50 Charge. 4. The lights on Field 4 make playing at night very tough. 5. Good luck getting a fair shake if you are an out-of-town team. This would be a nice facility if they would improve on some things.
Good facility, but playing on turf is a lot different for young ones than playing on dirt and grass. Bathrooms are not the cleanest, but are ok. There doesn't seem to be lines, even when the fields are busy. Concessions are good, with a lot of variety. But don't expect healthy food, as usual in these types of facilities. They have a pay to stay policy/agreement with local hotels, which costs traveling families double or more for average rooms. Price gouging should be illegal, oh wait...it is.
Fantastic food and incredible service! Spotlessly clean with lots of activities for our daughter & her friends.
7 dollars to get in. Then you can't even bring a cooler for the teams. Drain your wallet as soon as you enter. If I scheduled tournaments, non would be at this complex. Two stars are for the facility. Other than that huge disappointment
The facilities were great. Everything organized and clean. Ball fields nice. Play ground covered with net which allowed our daughter to play safely. Several cages for our boys to warm up in. Since they won First Place, my son received a trophy. Two days after tournament, little sister accidently broke the trophy. My son is very proud of trophy and I knew he would be very upset. I called Lenz Field about a replacement. Tom Lenz answered phone. He was very kind and professional. With no hesitation, he said ?
The turf needs replaced. Artificial turf only lasts up to ten years. It is flat and slippery. Lawsuit waiting to happen. This facility is going down hill more and more every year we visit. Canopies and fences have been damaged and never replaced. Garbage cans during tournaments never get emptied. Trash everywhere. What a dump. Restrooms are never maintained. Human waste all over the floors along with paper towels and toilet paper. You have some work to do Lenz Field.
It was a really fun place to watch my grand son play ball.
Place waa as immaculate, room was very comfy, roomy very well lightened & bed was heaven!
Played in what was advertised and supposed to be a single A tournament only to find out AA teams were allowed in. AA teams easily beat all A level teams and won the tournament. Fields are not all turf. We played on same field all weekend that had a grass outfield. Umpires were not aware of bat rules and allowed players to play with any bat they wanted. Scoreboard was not available for Saturday pool play games. Have to pay to watch your child play in a tournament that you already paid for your child to be in
I'm not impressed with this place, at all! I've been scheduling tournaments and games for my travel team for 4 years now and this is a place I'll stay away from. All the hotels in town are expensive due to tournaments, and you have to use their travel agency to book rooms or you will get "fined.' The fees are high to play here. There is nothing to do in Jacksonville for kids and Springfield is a 45 min drive. The place is cramped and there is zero shade. There is only ONE scoreboard in the entire park,
Clean, well stocked restrooms. Decent food prices. Not a lot of available shade a d it was in 90's when we were out there. Watched girls softball tournament on the 4th.
Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. My son played there and we were literally bullied by the umpires and tournament directors. It was our first time being there and I will never go back...you couldn't pay me! My son just wants to play and have fun, but that's hard when his coach gets kicked out 2nd batter into the game. Why?? Because the ump had a big head and hot temper. You can't scream at the top of your lungs at a child's coach, and then their parents and expect them to play their best. Shame on you Lenz fiel
Nice facilities. Bring your own food. 7 games going and out of almost all sandwiches. A little high priced on what they did have. Fee for teams, fee for parents but pretty standard. Mostly turf fields.
The parking lot it too tight, there is no signage about gate admission fees, concessions are over priced, staff is un-knowledgeable about field locations, restrooms were absolutely disgusting, with halfway functional faucets. Will not be returning.
Great complex, food, staff, bathrooms and environment. Thanks for the opportunity Jamison?s and can't wait to come back for the pulled pork nachos. Best thing there.
Nice complex just need to do something with the temporary fencing they put up on one of their feilds. My daughter was running for a pop fly and looking for ball and caught a rope across her neck was injured and ended up having to be checked out once we got back into Michigan... they were apologetic but also tried to push blame on her stating that she was going full board and wasn't watching out...um going for a pop fly in outfield a player should not have to look out for a rope attached to fencing that may
Overpriced six bucks a piece at gate, no coolers or food allowed however only two teenagers working in an overpriced terrible concession stand with a mile long line in the baking hot sun. Hate, hate, hate the turf!! Ball skips and bounces to the point of getting kids hurt! The tournaments are also priced three times any other tournaments we've played all year. Couldn't pay us to go back!
My son had a fantastic experience at Lenz Field last weekend. The fields are great, friendly staff and a very organized tournament. Will definitely be back next year!
Turf fields are a big advantage. Concession food is cooked or prepared on site; restroom is busy, photographers do very good work during the children's baseball and softball games.
One of the best destinations to play baseball/softball in the Midwest. 6 Turf fields, full concessions stand. My son plays there every summer and it has the best competition around. They host over 1000 teams a year and some of the best ALL-STAR events around. We HIGHLY recommend LENZ FIELD
Didn't care for layout. Didn't care for the unprofessional umpires. Rather than reverse a call he obviously blew, even when told by the other umpire he messed up, his comment was well it's only 9u. That call cost the game. The other team, local, went onto final game.
Admission prices are high. They should offer weekend or tournament passes for families. Cost too much to pay every day. $5/adult $2/kids 6-12
Team had to pay to play. Parents had to pay to watch. Not enough seats for everyone. Had to bring in our own chairs. Not much shade at the main park.
Need more shade places and when real HOT put water coolers in every dugout..my son has played their 7 times and enjoyed every game. I wish we had a complex like this in champaign il
Such a poorly run facility. Terrible parking situation, terrible bathroom facilities and I've never been in a tournament where the games have not been more than an hour behind schedule.
Great place to play! We'll run! The Lenz's could create some more shade areas in many parents opinion.
Nice, clean facility....turf fields are in really great shape. No sunflower seeds allowed helps their ability to keep everything clean.
A sports family's dream. Nice fields and concessions. It is a long walk from the parking lot and you should bring your own chairs too.
Very nice field. Field 4 restrooms could use a bit more attention but other than that, no complaints.
Too expensive, too hot, and too unfair. Everything about the home team (Lenz Field Warriors) getting special treatment and calls going their way is absolutely true. Save your money and time and play in a tournament close to home.
Nice place to play. Really enjoyed our time here. Lots of covered batting cages.
Always hot there and miserable. Usually the worst umpires. ?? Food ok, Bathroom decent this is my least favorite place to go to for tournaments.
1 of the best steaks I've ever had. And I cook alot.
very clean, safe lots of news & fences excellent pork chop sandwich all food delicious good concessions
Umpires were very rude and they just guessed what to call instead of making sure with the other umpire. They were also rude to the players.
Can play in the rain, riiight it was too slippery and whats up with charging admission for players families. Umps where ify at best. Not impressed
The score boards are sort of hard to see from many fields and parking is a challenge, but overall it's very clean and great place.
No G2 Gatorade, No Dr. Pepper, and needed better eye candy. However, they do give your money's worth for nachos.
Nice place but no shade and not enough bleachers. The scoreboards are in bad spots.
This is a great complex. Turf infield, well kept, restrooms, vendor food, $5.00 adult admission fee
Great prices great fields bathrooms were a little messy half try but not horrible
got a hold of Tom Lenz. I was polite, I was nice and I called about a tournament and didn't even get to ask my question. I didn't even get a chance to ask my question and this guy was as rude as could be.
Beautiful fields, great concession stand. No wifi and no cell reception earned it 4 stars instead of 5.
Great turf fields. Concessions are approved by 8 year old little sister.
Beautiful complex, great location....I gave 4 stars because there is NO shade!
It is a very nice complex but needs to have a Senior rate for admission.
Great place for a game or tourney. Good concessions. Bring some cash
I have never seen a place so neat.Baseball fields were really cool.
Good, but more arrows or numbered fields would be good
Nice fields, but sooooo cold and WINDY!!!
Fields only half turf and still had rain delays not sure its worth the price of admission.
Solid complex. Six fields, five of which are turf. Some outfield fences are somewhat short.
Cash only was a big inconvenience.
Nice clean facility. Food selection was good. Food was good.
Can't use their Wi-Fi and 4his town is a Verizon wireless DEAD ZONE
Great complex for baseball tournaments. All turf so you always play
My cousin plays baseball there. This place is awesome!
Wonderful complex but a long drive to get there for us
Just an FYI be sure to bring cash. They haven't caught on that people use credit cards.
Lentz girls are designed for teams of baseball. Just happens to be on our way to & from home.
Ausim sportscomplex great staff two yrs in a row
Ball field, concession bring your own chair or sit in bleachers..
Wonderful place...enjoyed our time there
Excellent set of fields.
Parking was hard to find, but great fields!
it is a very nice place two play softball tournament
Awesome Complex for Baseball Tournament's DP from The GATA Wolfpack
Nice place. Nachos were great.
They need to fire bary wright aka Barly Right
Awesome facility. Try the White Russian.
Fields are always well maintained.
Excellant turf fields, and friendly staff.
Nice complex but Baseball with peanuts!?!?
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
