Customer Reviews

I brought both of my grandchildren to bowl, play mini golf and the arcade games. Cost was very reasonable for all we did. The Funway staff were SO helpful especially Tim. They were very accessible and polite. The whole facility is do well kept and clean. This place is as hidden gem in Batavia! ,

Very nice arcade and amusement center. People are very nice, and it wasn't too crowded when we visited, although it was earlier in the afternoon. As well as video games, there are bumper cars, a roller skating rink, bowling alley, mini golf, and laser tag upstairs. Roller skating and laser tag must open later in the day-wasn't open when we were there. You need cards which you load with money to use as credit to play. These cards also keep track of your tickets won. Cards don't cost anything to buy. F

I take my kids here to roller skate and we always have a great time! The DJ has a fun playlist that everyone enjoys and has fun skating to. They also do a great job getting everyone involved with their games they play, my kids look forward to "red light, green light". All the employees I have interacted with are very pleasant and helpful. They just have a friendly vibe going, we will definitely be back to skate again!

What an incredible family fun place to visit! I've had the joy of coming here for over 30 years and this place is like stepping back to the glory days of arcades, skating and so much more. I have the privilege of bringing my family to one of my favorite hangout spots growing up and I've seen them fall in love with this place. My son has become obsessed with roller skating and has re-awakened a former passion of mine. I can't recommend this place enough!

Love roller skating with the kiddos here. Usually good music is playing and we always have a blast! Highly recommend.

This place is affordable and good fun for the family. They have so many options for what to do, there will definitely be something you'll like. I still have yet to try multiple things despite already visiting twice. Everything is pretty clean and entertaining. The staff is mostly friendly, though I did have one instance where some teenager at the ticket booth seemed to be ignoring me but serving others just fine. Otherwise, though, everything was good. I'm looking forward to going back and trying their skat

I love Funway! Every time we come we have such a great time! We used to come out for field trips when I was a kid and it was always so much fun. As an adult I still have a blast! The outdoor part is always our go to but the arcade is awesome too. We love it!

The chicken tenders were very yummy...esp considering this was a bowling alley, arcade, skating rink etc. There's lots of fun to be had at Funway, all under the same roof. Go carts, bumper cars, laser tag etc.

Great experience with my son's roller skating birthday party. The staff at Funway are friendly and helpful. They have the process of getting large groups checked in and out nailed down and did a great job getting the kids skating even with 3 parties starting at once. A fun time!

Went here, disappointed. All the rides were broken, and the people roller skating weren't wearing helmets or any safety gear. Pizza was good tho.

Went there for a birthday party. Every single employee was incredibly nice and helpful. The bowling alley was clean and up to date, although there were a few over served people stmblong aroind, before noon. Everything else at Funway felt run down and in need of an update. The arcade section was a bit dirty and many of the games weren't working. It's still a great place to bring kids, but as an adult, you notice places where there needs to be approved.

I have been coming here for over 30 years. The place is always a blast as a kid and now for my kids. Every few years they do improvements which is nice.

Place needs an update badly most of the arcade games were broken or just took kids money from card and didn't allow them to play. Roller skating was decent although the floor has many rough grooves in several spots. The bowling area seems to be the only updated part of the whole place so if your going bowling ok but if your looking for arcade for children would not recommend this place.

Second time to come here?Very fun to go with friends. Price was affordable. Laser shooting was super fun??sweated so much tho LOL. Arcade needs a lil more varieties and hard to redeem any prizes. The mini golf was goat??we really enjoyed it. Loved skating and bowling as well. Overall experience was awesome?

I love the old school skating ring. It reminds me of my younger years. The bowling is fun and the arcade is not the best but the kids love it. We love the glow in the dark mini golfing. Always a good time.

Never had so much fun in my life like a small City.Cant go here enough for bowling video game still want to go cart miniature golf roller skate.Who ever built this place was a genius courteous friendly caring Staff thank you

Amazing amusement complex. Indoor activities include laser tag, bumper cars, arcade games, bowling, roller skating rink, and cosmic mini golf. Outdoor activities are river rocks mini golf, two go kart tracks, batting cages, and bumper boats. All activities can be paid with the single activity card you can load at kiosks or customer service desks. Very clean, very enthusiastic staff. Weekends are busy with birthdays, weekdays range from empty to mildly busy on Friday nights. Great game offerings, clean restr

My husband and I took our teenage daughter and some more of our family there to celebrate our daughter's Graduation. There is something here for all ages! My dad who is in his 60s loved the slot machines and Go Karts. The teens loved playing the games and all of the other attractions (go karts, laser tag, skating and bowling etc.) Lets just say that if your looking to have a great day with the family this is definitely the place to go. We have been there twice now and will be back again!

I was kid sitting and wanted several fun experiences for these boys 14, 10 & 8. I choose Funway in Batavia on route 25. So much to do here roller skating, laser tag, indoor mini black light golf, bowling, arcade, outdoor mini golf, two go kart tracks, batting cages, water wars, bumper boats, and bumper cars. We did outdoor mini golf On Saturday night& then went back on Sunday afternoon and did bowling, indoor mini golf & bumper boats - early Sunday was a great time to go not crowded. We enjoyed our v

Their staff are very friendly. Great place to take your kids for roller skating ring (great music) bowling, laser tag, mini golf, Go-Karts, arcade.

A veritable center for entertainment in the area. Endless activities are available here.... Bowling, roller skating, a HUGE arcade, indoor black-light mini golf, bumper cars, laser tag, a party room, and then OUTSIDE there's mini golf, batting cages, bumper boats, and go karts. Birthday parties here are a BLAST!!!!! I celebrated my 31st birthday here, so it's not just for kids. The employees here are super friendly and helpful. Almost forgot to mention: Mike Sopper at his Pro Shop is AMAZING. I love him! He

This is an ok place for little kids. If you're an extreme fun seeker then you'll be disappointed. The tracks are ok. Food is ok. It's good this place has a bowling alley and skating rink under 1 roof. A good time for kids aged 9 to 12.

We did a party here today for my son's birthday and it was a disorganized disaster. Families were turned away saying we weren't there when we were, they didn't announce our party to go to the party room so kids were lost, the host wasn't ready for us when we finally found our party, we ended up having to serve our party pizza, the host was rude to multiple kids (8 and under) who were getting antsy from having to wait so long, they forgot to bring out the ice cream we brought, the man running lasar tag yelle

ARCADE REVIEW/EXPERIENCE*** *Stingy on tickets earned *High cost to play games *No hand sanitizer was filled *Fun mini golf inside Funway is overall a 10/10 fun place, but my review is with the arcade. I brought my 9 year old to go play some arcade games and gave her $10 to spend. Just wow. Firstly, she was only able to play like 5 games... lol FIVE games of 20min being there. There are rarely any for under $1.00 per game with the max for any actually fun game like a shooting game or driving game at $1.50!

Funway is feeling really dated. We skated, but it didn't last long. The rental skates (roller blades) dug into my ankles so badly that I could only skate for a half hour. I asked the guy at the skate stand if he had any more in my size, but he didn't. The rink itself was really wavey. It felt like the surface was bubbling.

Had a great time at a mini golf outing. The staff was wonderful. Very accommodating and met all our expectations and needs

Still an amazing place for all ages. Great for gatherings and skating rink is still beautiful from the time I was a kid till now. Employees are personable. Bathrooms were okay considering the amount of traffic and ages levels that come thru the establishment. Overall, come out and support Funway!!!

Super-classic place in the Fox Valley area. Always a fan of the indoor roller-skating. They have fun outdoor sports for kids too.

All around good fun! The place is clean and wasn't overly crowded considering holiday break for all. My toddlers had the best time.

Brought my family to skate last night. Our visit was cut short due to sexual harrassment/assault. Staff allowed the man to stay, calling it a he-said-she-said & that they don't have cameras that hit the rink to see what "really happened"... Got a refund & left. Been coming here with my family for over a decade. Won't be returning.

Sunday skating is 12-2. We were in the area for a wrestling tournament and shot over after for our son to try out his new skates. I've been here several times before and enjoyed our experience every time.

Vast variety of arcade games to play. Several times, the games broke and required us to get staff assistance to reclaim our credit on our game card. Very few games provide tickets towards redemption. Prize selection not very enticing. Black light mini golf course was challenging but very unique and fun. The art really came to life in the black lights. The roller rink was clean and smooth and big enough for lots of people to safely skate. Time lots are two hours long for skating.

Fun place, good pricing for what is offered. We did mini golf and bowling.

This place is as amazing as it was in the 90s. The rink hasn't changed a bit, and the activity center just makes it better. Be prepared for an expensive arcade. Birthday parties and very fairly priced, and staff is always super friendly!

Family fun for everyone, we had a great time skating

Just ?? the rollerskating rink there, I travel 1hr to get there twice a month. The hours are great and the other amenities are nice too ??

I enjoyed the attractions and arcade. I just wish there were more all inclusive packages as it can get very pricey if you want to do everything in one day! My family spent $200 there in one day ????That's not affordable for most.

Was very disappointed. Yesterday was the 1st and last day I'll go. Rude Management and rude staff. I wouldn't give 1 star but it wouldn't let me post a review without giving a star??funway you need to check your staff and get a new manager

Decent fun place for kids under 12

Always a fun time. Only 12 bucks to roller skate. Also, the super fast go carts were a blast

Great place for kids and adults... kids loved it and the prices for each game or attraction are reasonable....

Went went to Funway for a group roller skating event. This venue is huge. There is a ton to do. The roller rink is nice. The skates are in good shape. They offer both inline and regular skates. Definitely recommend. Definitely going again

It was great to experience a real arcade. I loved the idea of classic pinball games, new modern racing games, and even the groovy carpet was really cool. But I will be honest, most of the times i?ve gone here I feel a little grossed out. One time a kid came by and threw up and the cleaning process was slow and lackluster- it smelled awful! There's mysterious stains and smells in lots of places. This place is mostly full of little kids, so I may just be picky at my age.

Was a cool set up big place Lazer tag, bowling, roller rink, and arcade

Funway is a wonderful escape from the droll of suburbia. Part 1970 roller rink disco, part bowling alley, part space are arcade. Funway looks like what you would build if you were playing a theme park sim game on cheat mode. There's a lot to do and see and all of it will cost you money. Most of the arcades were $1+ per game, but many games are really unique experiences. The arcade does not have a all you can play option, which is a bummer. Summer looks a little different with additional outside activities

This was a great arcade that I'd never been to before and really enjoyed exploring. I really hope to come back again soon, my nephew and I had a terrific time without even getting to fully delve into all the activities they had to offer.

Our first time here , we took our daughter for her birthday, we had a blast , you can make a whole day of it here , can't wait to try the rollerskating there. The place is clean and the people are very nice

Pretty decent place. Lots of things to do there that's for sure. Be prepared to spend minimum 100 dollars for two kids. The arcades are crazy in price for what kids spend per game and what they offer for prizes. Other than that issue I had, it's a good place

Skating with our elementary school last night was Awesome! The dj played Great music and was very engaging. The equipment and food staff were quick. There was a wide strip of flooring across the whole straightaway of the rink that had a very bumpy texture making it rough going for inexperienced skaters in those areas.

We love Funway! They have so much to do for all ages. Roller skating, bowling, miniature golf & games, my 12-15 year olds have a blast whenever we go. There is also a bowling pro-shop on site.

Amazing place to go enjoy there for date night or with kids. Outdoor activities are amazing.

I love funway. This place is a local institution, so happy to see it still a great place to take my kids now.

I've enjoyed taking my kids here. The staff is helpful and always understanding about my son who has autism. It's always a fun time and the dj always plays my requests.

Did a birthday party. Kids had so much fun. They went bowling ,laser tag ,go cart, bumper cars and skating all in one place. I recommend Fun Way call ask for a party package you won't regret it. its free to enter, plenty of parking

The place is kind of big, lots of activities including miniature golf, bowling and bumper cars amongst others. The skating rink downstairs looks pretty cool and big. The arcades area isn't too big but with all the other activities offered it makes sense. Kids had fun and would probably go back.

We went here for bowling and it was a great time! I have a three year old and she had a blast, I like that they have shoes that fit feet that tiny! The mini golf was also lots of fun for the whole family!

Good ol' Funway is the place for classic family fun. Bumper boats, go-karts, Bumper cars, bowling, skating, lazer tag, mini golf, games- a real bar for mom & dad & snack bar for the kids. & much more.

We visited Funway for my best friends bachelor party. We had a great time and enjoyed playing classic arcade games as well as brand new high tech games. The facilities were clean and they offered many options for entertainment. Thank you Funway.

Awesome place to bring the family...anything from arcades and black-light bowling. Very friendly environment. Staff are very polite and helpful with questions about where things are and what is top rated

We had a great time skating and playing bumper cars. The prices were reasonable and the facility was clean. We'll definitely be back in the summer to try the go-carts and water bumper boats!

I love the roller rink there, and there's always something to do! I played laser tag as well and it's nice, clean, and welcoming.

The kids played games, mini golf, go karts, laser tag, bumper cars, trampoline basketball, water boats. They had a lot of fun! Don't let them use all of their money on arcade games though.

It's nice to have so many options all under one roof!!! $10 for roller rink entry and skates.

Very great, no wait usually, roller skating and arcade and everything

I used to come here almost every Saturday morning to bowl. That was about 5 years ago, and I understand the price of EVERYTHING is going up, but this place reeks of ripoff now. Used to pay $3 a game to bowl, and now the site says $3.95. That's fair. When I actually get there though I get the surprise that on the weekends they rent out lanes for half an hour for a whopping $23! Starting a game the machine is not feeding the ball right and I loose some time on that too. The lanes seem decent still and it wasn

I only love this because I grew up here and to see the overwhelming progression is amazing. Still full of scantly clad teenage girls, teenage boys overly doused in cologne, plenty to do for a price, and now newly equipped with drunk parents. See back in my day your parents dropped you off to go get drunk without you.

We had a great time. Tons of things to do. Can't wait to go back in summer for the water ballons, water bumper boats and the go carts.

Nice bowling lanes and seating areas, very helpful and friendly staff, and the food and bar options are good. This is a good bowling alley to go to!

Fun for all ages. I will say that every time I go, it's really hot inside so dress accordingly!

Very nice chill spot. There is very little arcade games and some don't work

Funway is fun place to go. Lots to do. We have gone many times for skating. Only down side is games are a little on the pricey side and prizes are very cheap.

Family had a great time here for Mother's Day, as well as many times previously. Excellent customer service and reasonable value. Many great memories here over the years with family, friends, and church groups! I would suggest that the AC be turned a bit cooler, but it was an unexpectedly warm day.

Never knew this place existed but apparently its been around for a long time. They do a good job to keep the place looking updated. A lot of things to do. We didn't get a chance to do the outdoor activities and will probably come back to try the water bumper boats, batting cages, etc.

Amazing friendly staff. Very fun time for all ages.

Its a very nice place to spend a weekend especially with your kids or family

Always have a good time here. Lots do from bowling to roller skating to laser tag, bumper cars, arcade, mini golf, batting cages, bumper boats, and go karts.

Its a very nice activity place that seems to b safe. challenging activities & simple. Healthy eats also. My kids always enjoy!

I mostly come here for the roller rink skating sessions. The rink floor is always clean and smooth and refs are attentive when needed. The carpet is cleaned after every session as well. Inline rental skates here are mostly old and uncomfortable, so I recommend you have your own pair. The food is a little pricey, but it is a great place to hold birthday parties.

Funway was a great experience! I hosted a party of 14 kids under 12, and 12 adults. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the array of actions, impressive. The best feature was that the child could choose their favorite pastime, from bumper cars to video games. It's a spacious venue, and even on a Saturday afternoon, we didn't feel crowded or insecure. As for the cost, all these things are pricy, but funway is as good as I've seen.

My family and I went for a FUN afternoon. We went mini golfing, water wars and go carting. Mini golf was ?ok?. Water wars was fun, although, they give you a bucket with balloons that you fill yourself. Why even charge for this? And as for the go carts, the max speed was at a crawling speed. Definitely not worth the money. We will not be returning. Not only was it not worth The money but the non friendly staff could have made it better by being ?fun? at FUNway!!

Had a great time. My family came from out of town and we enjoyed the weather outside for family time. Miniature golf was great...I won!!!

We had the best time of our life here. The staff was friendly ,prices were affordable, and they have so much for you to do. I definitely recommend this place for fun times.

So much fun, but pricey if you're not mindful!

this place offers arcades for children of all ages, they have roller bladding down stairs as well (check on line for pricing) they also have go carts out side in the back during spring summer and fall, as well as bumper boats, and batting right next to that. One of my favorite feature if this place is the bowling down stair we came here frequently with our family and it's so inexpensive I think its 20$ for 1 hour it's very fun. they have plenty of parking in front or the building and also on the side, this

Lots of fun bowling. It was my daughters first time. She had a lot of fun. Good price too. Also my daughter is 20 months old.

First time to the facility. Took grandkids to roller skate. Very nice and clean facility. Would definitely go back again.

Fun amazing place to take your family for some fun quality time people there are very friendly and the beers pretty good. The food is good .

Affordable skating and skate rental, great rink. They always have enough safety staff and great mix of music for all ages. Bowling alley is clean with an easy scoring system , great snack booth with friendly staff. Great way to spend the day with friends and family.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
