We've been having a great time here for over 20 years?seen a lot come and go lol. You can find us in the arcade at the Punching Bag Machine, or in the Ball Room racking up tickets, or just walking around with a few pints of beer?lol..lots to do in town, good times!!
Always a blast here. So much fun i wish they was open until 1 am lol ??
My friend and I had the greatest time playing skeeball bingo. Daniel and Amanda , the game hosts, were a blast! They made it super fun ???? Keep up the great you two! We were trying for one and ended up with two ????
Fun place to spend money. The gentleman doing the gift counter was wonderful. We also ordered dinner in the dining room. Ordered pizza, wings, tots and mozz sticks. The wings were good, definitely needed more sauce. The pizza was not! We couldn't even eat a slice. The crust was like it was rolled in sand and the toppings were like they were left out overnight.
The employees were attentive and friendly, The food was pretty good too. The miniature golf was fun and the arcade was packed full of young people. The pool tables however were scratched up pretty bad, the bowling alley lane curved a bit and the go-karts were not running. ?? No one was in the batting cages or on the merry-go-round.
Pretty good place to hang when it's wet outside. Pretty well priced games. The staff was really helpful when we needed a refund on credit errors. It was clean and the crowd wasn't bad at all.
Hey, so there's this place called Funland Entertainment Center, and it's pretty cool. We went there when we were in the area, and it was a lot of fun. They have a bunch of games and other things to do. It was a bit crowded, but that's to be expected since it's the only entertainment center in this area. There are a lot of places to eat nearby, too, so you can grab a bite after you're done playing. If you're ever nearby, I'd definitely recommend checking it out.
If you have never been here, with or without kids. What are you doing with your life?! Such a great place to spend hours playing games. Reasonably priced and fun for the whole family. This is always on our trip to do list. Every. Single. Time. Play the coin dozer. ??
My family was recently at Funland and I lost my spare truck key and fob. When I returned to Washington 2 days later I realized I had lost it. I called Funland the next day and they had the key. Nick called me back, paid the postage and mailed my key 45 minutes after we talked. I want to thank the person who turned it in and the awesome crew at Funland. You saved me a lot of time and money. Also we had a great time at Funland. Thanks again.
Fun place, even for adults. It was rainy the weekend we were at the coast, so stumbled in here to kill time and get out of the rain. Had a great time. Tons of fun shooter games, new and old school (Halo, Space Invaders) and other fun games. We played the claw and snagged a lil stuffed animal. Easy to get and load a game card. Really like the tap to reload game feature. And we even had fun redeeming tickets earned to get some fun things. Took me back to being a kid. Very fun. We'll probably make this par
We had so much fun. This place was a really great arcade. The fascination game was the best part! This is one of the last functioning fascination machines in the US! Such a blast to play, it felt like we were kids again.
Funland is a family-friendly amusement center located in Seaside, Oregon. It has a wide variety of arcade games, bumper cars, tilt-a-whirl, ten tiny tees golf, a whale racing game, and our favorite - Fascination! There is also a typical redemption counter where you can redeem your tickets for prizes. Pros: Fun for all ages Wide variety of games Good prices Friendly staff Cons: Can get crowded during peak times Some games are a bit outdated Could use a good cleaning more often than it's getting today! Ove
Such unique arcade games! They had a great variety. We loved it so much we went 3 times during our stay
This is a fun place for the kiddos to go in this little beach town of Seaside. We have gone here many times and will keep doing so. The pizza is decent and the cost for the play cards are good. Kiddos can still have fun on a budget.
The overall selection of games they have here is pretty outstanding. However I refuse to play most of the games here as all the games here are ticket games and many that cost $.50 elsewhere cost $1+ here. I really can't stress about how awesome the selection of games is. If you don't mind spending a bunch of money and you love ticket games and some other arcade games you won't see elsewhere then this is a fun spot. Very cool it's got food here as well! Didn't get any food here so I can't review that!
An amazingly robust arcade. They have physical activity games, puzzle games, slow reflex games, fast reflex games, shooters, rocking games, bumper cars and even some of the old style arcade classics done in a new style. The redemption area is in the back and they have lots of prizes. The highest award game there can give out 5k tickets but many of the beatable games are 500. Staff are friendly but underwhelming in their service. There is a player card you can get for more frequent/faster playing. There is n
Tons of fun games. Price per game was surprisingly cheaper from other arcades I've visited. Will definitely visit again.
I spent time there with my wife, super funny and nice place! Recommend that place for everyone! Have fun!
little expensive average at 1.50 a game 4 dollars for some
Brought back some old memories. It's still a fun place, but there could be more interactive games. Miss skiball and getting all the tickets to carry around. Silly, i know.
There's so many games here. Something for everyone for sure. It is great for kids and adults.
A bit expensive with a focus on top shelf games. Cool place will for sure go again. Air hockey! I would have liked some .25 or even .50 cent old school games. Dig dug or Centipede type. Just a little corner. It cost me $20 for 25 minutes for my 9 YO grandson and I. I mostly watched. Cool top tier games though. I would love the Star Wars game in my man cave!
Super fun, lots of different options for games and activities, we had a great time!
Kiddo had a lot of fun. Place was clean games worked as they should.
I went here for a basketball party with the girlfriend and her kid. Come to find out they won't let a macaw into their facility even though it doesn't touch the floor or anything in the facility besides me, but they will allow a dog that has a chance a pooping or peeing on a floor? I don't recommend the place after seeing an employee go to the bathroom and not wash their hands preparing food, however the bird is not allowed? The employee is dirtier then the bird.
Playing in the old school arcade was so much fun. We didn't play much in the rest of the arcade because we had so much fun playing in the old section.
Seaside is lucky to have Funland. Such a great place for kids and adults. There were plenty of games to keep you occupied while it rains outside. The roller ball game is a must. I can't wait to play that again.
Its a fun place to stop and bring your family. However, everyone else coming to Seaside does as well! After I spent my arcade money in here I found another one in with the carousel mall that was less busy and offered similar games.
Google maps said it had a bowling alley. It does not. There is a bowling arcade game though. It was fun. We had amazing pizza made by a kind and very fast staff. The games were fun and there was a LOT of them. Tickets do not gobfar to buy stuff so don't think you're walking away with anything useful after $100 in games is played. Just have fun playing, Eat wonderful pizza, then go across the street and buy yourself something with thr saved game money ??. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.
it was fun, the games aren't super overpriced but definitely not cheap and it smelled kinda funny but not to bad
It's a cool place, especially during the wet / cold PNW Fall-Spring season. Got 6th on the Jurassic Park game (wife is 11th). Come at me bro.
Brought my son here today. Huge selection of games old and new! Easy way to load up money onto the cards there. Fun way to let my kid go and pay for his own game. So I won't have to hold the quarters :) we will come back this summer for sure!
The prices here are a reasonable. While it can get busy during the weekend (summer) it is a great place for family & friends. Had a great choice in games & a pretty good selections of prizes (personal favorite are zotz)
I drove from Camas Washington just to hang out with my nephew and play the games. We had a great time and will be back next week ?? ?? So fun to bring him now since I've been coming here since I was 14 and he's 20... 40 years of family fun.
Great place for the kids to take a beach break. Reasonably priced games and tons of fun. Even the people were friendly. We stopped here when we just got a bit tired of all the beach walking and needed something different. It was nice to just let the kids vent and have some fun and of course collect tickets to cash in for prizes because who doesn't like that right?!
The most fun I have had in a while. I recommend going, hands-sanitizer everywhere. People and/or supplies to clean machines in between. Tickets saved on card go and see who can win the most tickets. I guarantee laughter and joy which is hard to come by these days and here in spades.
Arrived on a Thursday evening. Pretty quiet, but the game area was clean and inviting. Ate at Fultono's Pizza. Good beer, salad and great pizza's. Came in as a group of seven and everyone ordered seperately. Food still came through real close together, so nobody was left hungry, while others ate. Individual size pizzas were big enough for a meal, or two, or three!!
So fun for the kiddos! So many game choices. Very clean and quiet
Great Arcade, lots of fun for the WHOLE family but VERY Expensive!! Over 90% if games are $1.00 PER PLAY, which really adds up! I recommend looking at the prizes FIRST to have a goal because your money evaporates FAST here ????
The were in seaside for the week and my daughter was just dying to come here. There are a lot of games to play, but weird hours on fascination and bumper cars.
We like going here a couple times when we vacation to Seaside. There's lots of games for all ages and just about all of them are in perfect working order. I took away 1 star because the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting every time we went. Otherwise, fun family time at the coast.
Such a wonderful place to bring your family and friends stay for a while and get some pizza Walk home with the prize
We had a great time here with our children ages 7 (F) and 3 (M). The arcade game options available seem to be targeted at a slightly older audience, but we found ways to have fun with most of the games there.
Update: 3 stars 2025: only removing a star since prices have gone up so much. They also do not have any hand sanitizer in their machines and they only have very cold water in the bathroom. 4 stars: Fun place to visit in seaside. Great for ANY ages. Lots of game options to choose from. Pizza restaurant and vending machines in building. Friendly staff. -Staff: Friendly -Cost: the prices have seemed to raise quite a bit for most games in the last few years. We stayed away from certain ones due to cost seeming
Guy attending rolling ball game blatantly misgendered me after I corrected him and even though we swiped the card, the machine didn't work and took our money. We got no compensation.
Fun place to have the kids play some games and win some prizes. Everyone really enjoyed Fascination.
Convenient and good place for kids. $1 for games (some are more,) but I don't feel like they are trying rob you blind. The toy grabber games ACTUALLY allow the kids to win the prizes, best compliment I can share about this place! My daughter got 5 little balls and 2 little ?stuffies? - cheap toys but didn't feel cheated. They have a section for game called Fancination - super popular and fun for the adults and older kids! Solid
I had an amazing experience at this arcade. There was a wide variety of games to choose from and I had a great time playing some of them. Although there were a few games that were not functioning, there were still plenty of games available to play. The staff was friendly and helpful when it came to redeeming the tickets on our card.
Enjoy some pizza and some ipa's while the kids play...then join them yourself cause this place is good for all ages, I had alot of fun.
Old school arcade. Fun for all ages.
Good 'ol family fun, great for ALL ages. Only 25cents per game unless it's a special game. They really need to redo their sign, it's hard to see the numbers/letters.
The two gentlemen who helped my boy cash in his tickets were awesome. Made my little boy's day.
Always a fun place my kids of course love it here. Wish the games were a little cheaper but it is what it is.
2yr old/10YO loved it and it was fun for adults too!
Lots of fun game options for all ages!
Amazing arcade! Clean, not too dark and a fabulous selection of arcade, games of chance, and skill games. Quick, efficient point redemption.
This whole area of Seaside is a step into the past, and Funland is at the epicenter. Old school video games plus a game that has its own room called Fascinations, which is a mix of Bingo and skeeball. Have not seen it in 30 years. So fun.
Family and kids enjoyed this very much. We had a blast and the area reminds me of a Coney island vide.
My kids and I had a blast. First time everyone won multiple prizes out the machines. The only disappointment was the go carts not being open but maybe they will be next time we visit. Also loved that it was a pizza place connected to it.
Mini golf ? n arcade games was fun. Haven't been here in over 30 years. Was long overdue.
One of our favorite places to go while in town
Good variety of family fun. Nice and clean.
My wife and I are in our thirties and spent an hour here acting like 10 year olds.
I recommend going on weekday or in the late evening. Weekends, especially in the afternoon, it could get crowded. But lots of fun games to choose from. Fun to go with friends, families or a date!
Absolutely will not be returning. Served my 3 year old, old pizza & gave her food poisoning with her horrendously vomiting on our 3 hour drive home. Almost a trip to the ER ?? ?Well that's never happened? is all i got, no refund or even a simple talk with the cooks. Disappointed & Disgusted.
Awesome sauce!! Lots of fun for all ages. Wear walking shoes.
My daughter loves this place. Always come here to play lots of fun games and the pizza is INSANE! Check it out.
Really fun! Our last visit on our week vacation, we spent some time playing video games. I really like how they use cards to store cash and tickets, so you're not having to carry around ribbons of tickets everywhere. Very secure. Large selection of video games and ticket games, as well as pinball machines and air hockey and all reasonably priced. Lots of fun!
Lots of fun games including some old school pinball games. We didn't eat at the restaurant but the pizza smelled really good. Hopefully we'll go back to give it a try. You buy a card, put some credit on it, and just swipe to play games. Fun family times!
It's always fun to play fascination there. I wish they still took quarters though. Finally remembered to bring quarters and then they switched to only using a card for the game. Kind of lost some of the romantic appeal of yesteryear.
Kicked out on my honeymoon for legally carrying a firearm despite no signs that said I couldn't. If you want to have a policy like that you have that right, but you should make it public so I can choose to leave it at home instead of having my day interrupted
Fun to go on a date with my husband. Lots of games and a pizza place too!
We love fascination! It's so much fun to play and the only place I know that has it.
Showed up and put $60 on two cards for my kids. Went to play our first game and it said "attendant required" and would not function. Went to another game, same thing. Every game was down. Asked an attendant and was told that they would have it fixed shortly. Over an hour later, still no games. We needed to be heading back out of town so I asked for a refund on my unused cards and was told NO. This place had us paying for a service that they could not provide because THEIR system was down. Instead of
The games are a bit overpriced and it's easy to blow through your money here. Lots of games were down, which was a bummer. But overall we had a great time here despite the cost. They had some fun prizes includes oregon shot glasses and coffee mugs. The staff was so patient and kind. I was very impressed because I would imagine it's easy to get cranky as people take forever to pick prizes. But they didn't mind and didn't make you feel rushed. They also were very fast and attentive when a machine ate your mon
Fun arcade! Sad that they don't have the tickets that print out anymore... there's something about digital tickets that seem a little cold to me, but maybe I'm just nostalgic. The games are great and they have a cool new photo booth big enough for a big family picture!
My son is finally old enough to truly enjoy a day at the arcade. Picking out prizes after winning tickets was so fun and the employees are helpful. The manager at the ticket redeem counter was so kind to my son, and helped him pick out the best candy. We will always be back!
This is one place my son loves, however. I'm giving it a 3 because their hours are not clear. On the website it shows that it opens at 9am, 10 am, and 11 am. Which is it? We drove 3 1/2 hrs to come just to be turned away because they weren't "open". Google shows they open at 10, but I was told by an employee that they don't open until 11. He stated it was on the door somewhere, but I didn't see it. He wasn't rude but definitely not welcoming or apologetic. Not sure it was really worth the drive. Good thing
Great place to go spend a couple hours at when in Seaside. They use cards to play the machines and it records your tickets on the card. It's not too crowded, they have a good assortment of games and they're fairly well priced. Just play attention to how much the games are and how much you plan to spend and you'll be fine.
We always visit Funland when we're near Seaside, Oregon. The food is good, lots of game choices, but most games are anywhere from $1 - $3, which is a bit high. Our 12 year old played for only about 30 min on $20. After food and games, you'll spend alot, so agree on a budget before you enter and stick to it. I gave it 4 stars because the bathrooms need updating and look dirty.
Cool arcade to bring your family to! Lots of games to choose from. The arcade is very big, clean, friendly staff and it also has a pizzeria!
Always a great experience. So glad it's not a bank breaker.
Didn't eat here, but spent an hour or so playing the games. Was pretty fun and the games were reasonably priced. They had a nice variety and the bumper cars were only $2 a piece! The prizes were pretty nice and the kid managed to get something she actually wanted! I won two DC character cards in one of those quarter drop machines, which was cool. Would go again!
Love it here. But watch out we get into the bumper cars. Bump bump bump?. I won't run into your car hard but if I do it'll be ok. Gonna try tomorrow. Wish me luck. Beep beep beep beep?
We all Love this place for our family get togethers. This is a friendly atmosphere place and everyone is welcome. There is a lot of game to play and earn tickets. The tickets are loaded to a card and then you can spend them later. My kid is saving for the giant teddy bear. We always eat here for our family vacation the pizzas and salads and bears are great and the arcade is awesome.
Always a fun place... Always packed and long lines for check out.. It gets very hot but still worth it.....
I come here every time I come down to seaside. It's a fun place to kill time and relax. The fascination ball game is must. I spend most of my time in there because it's only .25 cents a game and is pretty exciting to play because you're going against everyone in the room. The arcade games are ok but the price for each game is pretty absurd. $1 a game for most games which is pretty pricey. Some aren't really worth that much. After playing in the arcade you can always hop over to Fulton a pizza to grab a bite
This place is loud, very crowded, everything's kind of sticky and there's no parking other than on the street..so if you're staying nearby, just save yourself the headache and walk. Even though 1/3 of the games are shutdown and you have to wait in an insanely long line for the most mundane of prizes, IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT! ?? Your kids will have such a great time and will leave happy/content. Great way to let them burn off some energy and help them gain some independence while spending their money cards/cas
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Yes, rhythm games in arcades are a vibrant hit in 2025! Titles like Dance Dance Revolution and Beatmania deliver high-energy fun, blending music, movement, and precision. Modern machines boast vivid displays, booming sound systems, and diverse song libraries, from J-pop to EDM. They challenge reflexes and rhythm, with competitive leaderboards and tournaments fostering a lively community. Arcade dance floors are regularly packed, proving rhythm games’ immersive, physical thrill keeps them a standout in today’s gaming scene.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
