We had a fantastic time at Deep Creek Funland! The mini golf course was a standout ? beautifully landscaped, well-maintained, and just the right level of challenge to keep things fun without being frustrating. The features all worked perfectly, and it's clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the course in top shape. Honestly, the online photos don't do it justice ? it's even better in person. You can tell this place is run by someone who genuinely cares about the customer experience. The arcade was an
Great 18-hole setup, with involvement from the little streams within the course was pretty cool
Awesome time! Definitely had fun, and have plans to come back next year!! Took this cute picture of my kid on the coaster! What a ride that was!
Who doesn't love mini golf? There is a lot to do and eat here! An arcade, go-carts, bumper cars, a climbing wall, donuts if you come early, or pizza and ice cream also onsite. I recommend the taco pizza!
Really great pizza! Cheap too. Stopped on a road trip, the put-put golf looked great and was also cheap, but it was about to rain so I didn't try it.
My kids had a blast at Funland. I thought it was a bit pricey and it would've been nice to be able to have bought some sort of package deal for so many kids but they did not have that option. That is something that I think they should add. Besides that, it was wonderful. My kids loved the arcade and the carousel.
A fun spot to spend some cash and entertain the kids. The staff were nice. Some machines are out of commission but our girls had a good times
Thank you all so much for making this such a great experience. My son has been sick and going through a lot of things and just wanted to be a kid for the day. And thank you so much to the sweet teenagers who took pictures for us so we would have these memories for years to treasure.
Kids had a blast! It is not as large as its neighbor up the road. But for the price definitely worth a visit. Sometimes good things come in small packages and this was it. Simple put put, simple track for go karts, and a small arcade for the kids. They loved it. Staff very friendly, helpful and engaging. Prices are spot on for the area and entertainment. Will visit again. Our child hit the 100 tickets and lost it. Was so happy.
The miniature golf is my favorite. It's easy to maneuver and plenty of places to rest between holes if they get busy or a family gets backed up. Great for the kids to play. Very decently priced for all attractions.
Arcade is waaaaay too expensive. Go-karts were ok & bathrooms were clean.
Had a great time go karting and mini golfing. Funland is kept up nicely! Only 4 stars because of this misogynistic sign at the 18th hole. I suggest taking this down - you shouldn't make women (especially little girls) feel like they can't play golf (or do anything) less well than a man can.
Purely reviewing the arcade portion. A couple games had issues dispensing tickets. My child one a mystery ticket amount on one, yet nothing came out, and then another 30 tickets with nothing coming out. I informed the staff, but aside from checking the machine had tickets, they didn't do anything else. They left the game running to waste other people?s money too. I'm estimated we had around 400+ tickets yet the counter machine bugged out and stopped counting after 150 tickets. I informed the staff and they
Small arcade, chuck e cheese machines. Bumper cars and kart racing and mini golf. Not a bad price but a good update on machinery would make it better!
The arcade is so much fun! Super retro with paper tickets for prizes and prices are great too.
Love this place!!! It is beautiful and has a lot to do. You must stop and have fun.
Great place to take the kids for games, go karts and golf.
We enjoyed our time here. We had a great coupon given to us by our rental company. One of the best mini golf courses we've done!! Very neat, clean, interesting, kept our interest! Go-carts were fun! Great prices - even without a coupon. Clean arcade.
It was a beautiful labor weekend. This place was very fun for my daughter. We both enjoyed it.
Acceptable staff. We spent a few days at the lake and chose this place to kill some time and have some fun our kids in the evening. Reasonably priced. You can do everything here for around $100 or so.
Took the family here while vacationing in deep creek lake. Played in the arcade, a round of mini golf and kids drove the go karts.
Best mini golf at Deep Creek. We come and play every year! Very kid friendly.
Great place for the family, with a decent variety of things to do. Bumper cars, go cart track, mini golf, Rock climbing wall, and arcade games to reward with tickets to get cheap little prizes. Fun way to kill a couple hours and spend around $100 to do it all.
Great place for the kids to have fun.. clean... good staff really friendly
Excellent place to take the family for a fun afternoon!
Loved the go kart, mini golf and arcade games. My family had a wonderful time and were able to go right next door for pizza for lunch! Would have loved if the employees managed the mini golf course a little better so multiple groups didn't get too close to each other and have to leave instead of finishing. Otherwise, a fun experience.
Great place to take the family. As others have mentioned, this facility is smaller than its competitors. However, it was definitely cleaner and had more working games ( we have visited all of the arcades/fun centers in Deep Creek.) The go karts were fun and the mini golf offered a beautiful course. This is, by far the best option in the area.
Really nice place and I was very impressed with the mini golf course. It had a good mix of fun and semi challenging holes. Mini golf is $10 a person and free for kids 3 and under. The arcade also had a good mix of games. This place also has a go kart track which nobody was on, but it did look like a decent course. Overall I would go back again for golf and other activities.
This place was great. Especially for the price. The family and I had a blast on the go cart track. The putt putt course was fun and different than all the ones I've been to and I hit them all up every year in Ocean City! We conquered the rock climbing wall and the arcade was fun. Can't wait to go back!
A very cute, seemingly family owned/operated amusement center, with friendly service. The arcade games operated quite well, although the mini golf has too many ways to lose your ball outside the course. In april, only the arcade and mini golf was open and was only open on weekends.
I had fun at funland! A lot of the games are of the gamble for tickets type, but overall it was a pretty fun experience. The staff was excellent. I enjoyed their two person go karts and so did my son. There was also no line at the ice cream shop next door, and that was wonderful.
We played mini-golf, drove go-karts, played in the arcade and had yummy pizza! So much fun!
We visited memorial weekend. It gets quite busy but can accommodate a decent crowd. There is a variety of options for kids and kids at heart, too! The place is well maintained, and there were no machine breakdowns all the while we were there. Perfect way to spend half a day with the family during a holiday weekend!
We checked out the mini golf course, the carousel, the bumper cars, and the go kart track. All four were fun. We had no waits, even on a busy weekend. Great spot for kids!
I love the mini golf me and my mom play it together. It is a nice bonding experience. I love the go carts. If you bump me and will bump you back and win. I some time let my mom win too.
Great time!! We mini-golfed with the family and had a blast. It was a lot of fun. It was a challenge for everyone. The 10 year-old to the 45 year-olds in the crowd all met their match on each of the holes. It was a great way to spend some time as a family.
Cool little place with fun arcade games for both littles and adults. The mini golf course was fun, too, and we had a heck of a time trying to avoid sending the golf balls off of the course. Only one ball was lost with no chance of return and necessitated retrieval of a new one ?? There's a cheaper cost for kids aged four through eleven, but the four year with us did Not have fun, so just consider a child?s capabilities if they come with! The four year old did like the bumper cars and the ride-along go carts
Decent local amusement centre, with a mini-golf course, arcade, go-cart course, plus a climbing ?wall? and a water balloon game. The arcade is not very good; it doesn't have many actual games; it's all about earning tickets to trade for cheap toys & candy. The mini-golf course, however, is great fun & the other outdoor bits are nice too. It's all in need of a bit of refurbishment, though.
The mini golf was well-maintained, and a fun course to play. It was a little pricey for what it was. The arcade was a lot of fun, and the games were priced reasonably. There were decent prizes for the tickets won. All games seemed to be functioning properly.
The customer service was awful?every employee was on their phone and rude. The bumper boats didn't work, the arcade room was a complete joke, and we had to wait 30 minutes just for French fries!
Nice place awesome game had made 455 tickets but only got a prize for 400 tickets. I wasn't able to get anything else with the reminder of 55 tickets i had left. When there were small prizes I could have received to give me my tickets worth
Their wedgies are the best I've had and haven't changed since I first went. The stromboli is also pretty good. The prices are amazing. It helps that there is Hershey's ice cream. I've never been to the arcade, but it seems homey with people of all ages.
Wish I could give more stars but we had an experience that unfortunately made us never want to visit again. Poor customer service and very rude employees. Too long of a story to post but basically one of the owners made a mistake by telling us one thing then later went back on their word and lied about the situation entirely and weren't willing to part with the $16 it would have taken to remedy the issue, keep our business, and make us satisfied customers... this was all after we had already spent a lot of
The girls had a great time. Lots of fun and laughter
We visited as a family to spend the afternoon and were looking to get a package with tokens, go carts, and putt putt combined, but everything you get is purchased a l? cart, so we were there and gone pretty quickly. Not a lot of variety of games, there is no incentive to buy more tokens, and the prizes are just okay. The staff was great at the go carts, it's convenient to get to off of the main road, and the only line we had was where you redeem tickets, but I hope the next time we visit there are a few i
Great...Great Family spot! We went here for the Putt Putt & they had Arcade & Go Karts! Go Karts were so fun because they let you go around about 10-12 times! Putt Putt is very creative...the 18 holes have some interesting ways for your ball to go. Arcade is just fun... Deal or No Deal... tickets games galore! With some great prizes! Would definitely comeback here again when we visit! Also they provide Hand Sanitizer after your putt putt game & wipe everything down before you play.
This place makes for a great day with the kids. Lots of cool video games as well as games that give tickets that can be redeemed for prizes. Plus they have the BEST miniature golf course in Western Maryland!!!!!! They also have Go Karts, a rock wall, bumper cars, and a Merry-Go-Round. If you are at Deep Creek Lake you have to stop by and see.
We have been enjoying Funland with our children for years! It is the best arcade at Deep Creek. We love that they still use the old ticket method and not the points on a card. My kids always loved the large selection of toys and trinkets to choose from.
While funland was open, they are currently seemingly unstaffed, only thing that was open at the time was mini golf and the arcade. The arcade had a couple games for fun, but mostly everything I saw was just for tickets. One claw machine for just balls, three for tickets and one game for a plushie to drop. And one claw machine for just knickknacks. It looked nice, clean and fun. But mainly for ticket grabbing, and it is too hot today for mini golf.
When me and my wife with our kids came down from PA we stop at fun unlimited and that place was worst than Iraq the games were boring and my kid hated their pizza but here at Fun land, the games were good, and the pizza place next door was amazing. but my wife did not like it because I bet her at mini Golf there but think God I don't like her.
It was a great little arcade to stop into while on vacation. Kids and husband had a blast with all the games. Unfortunately it was raining for the outside activities, but will return on or next Deep Creek adventure.
Fun place, kids loved it.
Ok. First off most of the people visiting here are adult kids. Your kids are going to potentially get trampled. Secondly the games mostly are one-button hit games of chance. There are a few enjoyable games. Finally the games are hella expensive 1 dollar buy 2 tokens and most games take 2-3 tokens some 1 and some are 4. The photo machine was broke but they did refund and u have to cash in your tickets yorself by feeding them through a machine there is no digital card like most arcades. Very expensive be prep
I've been going to funland since I was a kid with my grandparents that was 40 yrs ago.now as an adult I work the outside attractions as a side job and have been there about 7 yrs. Tom Sarah and Doug run a great place very clean and friendly place. Deep Creek Pizza is a great place I usually get a Buffalo chicken sub or Buffalo chicken pizza
My grandkids love this place, even if they only accumulate enough tokens for very small toys/candy items. The go-carts are awesome!!!
While on our family vacation, we frequented this great lil Hotspot (especially on the rainy days). Great Pizza and ice cream. Great Arcade. Loved their Mini Golf setup.Go Karts were fun but the Karts themselves cld use a lil tune up and a spruce..but still fun. They also have a Carousel, which provides excellent entertainment for the younger ones (our kids are older) Excellent, Friendly staff. We definitely will visit again, next vacation
First of all I have it a 2 because at least the arcade was worth it and the prizes were not all junk:) However the "go cart" track was $7 a time and most of the cars were slow...and in need of repair. Their bumper cars at $6 a turn was also not worth it they were loud and the joysticks were hard to move. All in all since there is no all in one or group rate option like mentioned on their website place can get VERY expensive very quick :(
LOVE IT! They have SO many games and they have GREAT pizza. The employees who work there take care of their games and are like the nicest people I've ever met at an arcade. That's why I rated it 5 STARS.
What a gem to the community. It's evident they take pride in their business, unlike another arcade in the area. The pizza is fresh, crisp crust, excellent topping selection and the prices can't be beat. Also enjoyed their hot italian sub! My only complaints are that the website is hard to navigate - had a very hard time connecting with the pizza side of the business! Also, I wish the pizza side was open all year round, all week long!
cute arcade. we came mostly for mini golf. pretty busy but everyone moved fast at least. id say this place just needs better prizes at the counter. even the good prizes are a bit lame.
It was ok we had fun at the arcade. Great for younger kids between 2-10 years old, small go cart track, small arcade and the prizes were not very good. 800 tickets and there was nothing to get just candy.
Fun time. Miniature golf course was really nice.
Mini golf course is in great condition. They also have a small arcade, gocarts, a ??, and a small rock climbing experience. Pizzeria ajoined with a shack for ice cream.
Mini golf was a lot of fun. We wanted to do bumper cars but they sounded like they were on their deathbeds and our teenagers weren't impressed with how slowly the go karts went.
Well maintained minigolf, arcade, and go kart track. We didn't ride the carousel or the bumper cars, but had fun afternoon with the family followed by ice cream.
We went on a weekday and got 40 tokens each the arcade games were 1-3 tokens and you got real tickets then put them in the ticket eater prizes at the end
My family was at Deep Creek Lake for a family reunion. We (20 people, including young kids) partially came to Funland after seeing that their website offered daypasses and group rates. We arrived and asked about both just to be told that they didn't offer them. We said that their website stated that they did and were told unapologetically "well, we don't have either." Ok, so this trip just got a LOT more expensive. Oh well. We're already here. The kids are bouncing off the walls and just want to GO. We bou
Our favorite place to go. They have a great assortment of games to play in the arcade. Miniature Golf is a fun course as are the go-carts.
Awesome arcade, mini golf, go carts, and ice cream. Great place to spend some time when you are staying in and around Deep Creek Lake. We always go when we go on vacation here.
Had a fun mother son date. Played mini golf and drove the go karts. Exciting and great family place to enjoy quality time.
Great place to get out off the rain, or get out of the heat. Great place next door that has everything you need from hard or soft serve ice cream, to slushes, to awesome pizza, wedges, hoodies, and fries. Perfect place to hangout at night..
All arcade games are kid friendly. Tokens 2/$1.
Good mini golf for little kids. Ice cream and pizza. Arcade is ok, but a little dated. Go cart track is small, but okay for kids.
Pet friendly..lovely staff and fun little arcade. The kids had a fantastic time! The younger go cart guy was exceptionally fun for the kiddos.
My kids love it here. Always a good time. Good Mini golf too
I used to stan Fun Zone, but I am now a Funland Acolyte. Putt-putt was a vibe. Games inside looked like a good selection as well, but I didn't have a chance to play. Shun the non-believers. While you're there, say hi to Bessie for me.
Really fun family place. We did the arcade and mini golf. It had a great atmosphere and pretty fair prices too.
Nice little arcade only if you like ticket games (not my cup of tea).
Best miniature golf anywhere around Deep Creek Lake. Good go-carts. Small climbing wall. Arcade is pretty good.
Super friendly staff. Very clean. Everything in working order. Great prizes for kiddos. Fun for the whole family!
Great place to bring the kids. Putt-Putt Golf, go-carts, rock climbing wall, water games,, and a selection of arcade games. All reasonably priced.
Really nice place, the kids had a blast, liked the arcade, go carts, mini golf, they have a dilicius pizza place there, and a very friendly service. Would come back!
Not a bad spot for some fun during your time at the Lake. Mini golf was fun, definitely will return so that's a good sign!
Came here with my family for mini golf. The course was very well maintained and had fun and unique features. Throughly enjoyed my experience here.
Same as most of these places. Kids like it. $150 later and the kids leave with dollar tree toys. Overall nice place though
Plenty of arcade games (and noise) put put golf 9 or 18, bumper cars, race cars, and merry go round for the younger kids. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Fun little course. A pricey vacation area venue, but they have arcades, a climbing wall, go karts, etc. A young staff, but they were very friendly.
Fun place for everyone! Clean and all the games worked! Fun mini golf course and go carts!! Not to pricey!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
