Customer Reviews

Small but sweet! This arcade is packed with fun games and the prizes are actually good. They also have an incredible collection of FOUR dance games, including DDR A3, ITG, Pump It Up, and StepmaniaX! My family and I have been there a few times for the prize machines and they greatly enjoyed it. I personally go a few times every week for DDR and Taiko no Tatsujin. The staff are amazing. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The manager is one of the best managers a store could ask for. She's very nice and pass

I took my smaller nephews to this arcade while visiting the area, and we frankly had the best time. They have a great selection of good games which added to the excitement and the fun. The place itself is clean and has a great vibe to it and we will for sure come back again to renew the fun. I felt like a wild kid once again

We checked out Fun Zone Arcade while visiting the area and honestly had a great time. It has a good mix of classic arcade games like skee ball and pinball along with newer stuff like VR shooters and racing games. My kids loved the claw machines and ticket games. I spent most of my time trying to beat my high score on the basketball shooter. The staff was super friendly and I would definitely come back. Thank you everyone!!

I took my nieces and nephews on a little road trip once they got out of school. I'm so glad we decided to stop in at this arcade! We're from Texas so I'm not sure if they just do it differently over here but we were MIND BLOWN! All around amazing experience and if you're thinking about taking your kids here I promise they will not regret it! & even if you don't have kids, I had a blast myself lol!

Take my daughter here often actually. While the arcade is small and a bit pricey, the games are awesome and the service there is even better. I was there about 2 weeks ago when I was trying to win a Kuromi plushy from the claw machine. Couldn't, and the worker there said that of i get ANY plushy, I could swap it out. I wanna say the guys name is Andrew. Super awesome guy. Vacaville is fairly limited on arcades, and I can vouch for this place if your looking for one to hit up.

Well, I wasn't happy at first. I have 2 children that just want to impulsively tap their card on machines that have "stuff". They drained their cards quick. I was about to recharge, when the employee pointed out that they have a time card. I wish I was paying attention before because this option was much better for us. The cool thing is, they can still play the ticket games and the VR. It's an hour long card for both of them so it made the next hour much easier than the original option. Thanks Chris.

Very clean carpets, not a huge place but not crowded either. 3yo had a good time with the water gun, trampoline, and the Mario racing game that holds acceleration if the pedal isn't pressed for 1 second. Claw machine actually picked up a doll on the 4th try. 1000 points was $40, played for an hour and used 470 points. Enough to come again later.

Booked the party pack for my daughter?s 13th birthday. Staff were phenomenal! Super accommodating and so professional and welcoming. Arcade was super fun, no long lines, very clean and diverse modern games. Beat my high score at skeezeball- 4 times! Definitely will be back. You guys were so awesome ????

Excellent little arcade! Staff are friendly and will help you out! I mainly play rhythm games, so I'll talk about them here. Pump it up is in excellent condition and is a cheap price to play, even has custom panels! Step mania x could use a refresh to get the panels sensitive again, but its certainly playable compared to alot of other step cabs. The fun zone in folsom is the only one that has minty fresh panels. This place also has ddr!

I had to write a review of this place because I am very impressed with the overall QUALITY of everything. The friendly staff works incredibly hard to keep the environment clean and tidy, well stocked, and functional. The games are unique and different from typical arcades and it captured my intrigue even as an adult having never played them. The prizes were fun and of good quality too. Some directions for games were a little confusing but the staff did excellently to explain things to me. I recommend this

The fam and I had to travel to Vacaville to meet a friend and the kids were restless after traveling for 4 hours. Found this place an OH MY GAWD! Best arcade ever! Sooo clean ! Every machine worked!!! The kids had a blast we only had 30 min until they closed and we only made it to half the area that's how much fun each game was, me and the hubby were fighting over the card too. Lots of games and prizes to be won! We will definitely come back.

staffs are nice n friendly, but those machines are extremely powerless? tried 60dollars n none of even one try can grab any doll up? been here 2months ago n was still ok i think the owner tuned the power of the grabbing machines. most likely wont come again.

First time visiting Fun Zone Arcade. The kids loved it, they won a lot of prizes from the claw machines.

Love the games and theme, it would be nice if the prizes could be better. It's 200 point for a snack size candy. Per the amount we spent, the prize doesn't add up. To add: no the candy wasn't 20.0. My son had over 300points and a candy was 200 points. (Snack size sour pouch kids)

Too much fun, not enough time. Kids loved it here, hard to get them to leave. Digital tickets/points are great and prize exchange machine is nice! Employees were friendly and kind to my family.

I took my daughters there last week for the first time. We absolutely loved it. Highly recommended.

Happy accident. I just came here to charge up before continuing my trip. I noticed all the lights and had to come see what it was. Long story short, I ended up with a full charge because I stayed longer than expected lol.

Pretty cool arcade although it is small they have some good stuff inside you wouldn't even find at Dave and Busters or Round1 my personal favorite they have is Maximum Tune 6 which is hard to come by. My only complaint is that it gets warm fast in here but they just opened so I'm sure more a/c units are on their list.

Really cute place! My kids love playing here. Definitely a fun and clean place.

Really great place for kids and last minute fun. The arcade is clean and staff is friendly.

Mad props to this family. They out here running their small business better than most of these bigger companies that I been to. Pretty amazing if you ask me.

Super fun arcade to take a little break from shopping. My kids loved the variety of games and claw machines they have.

I was able to book my son's birthday party here and this place is amazing. The staff are so helpful. The manager Ervin was helpful with clarifying the booking process. There was someone on the arcade floor with the kids at all time. And someone helping with the party reservation(double amazing). I have never been to a place that really helped out as much as this place did( I was overwhelmed a little and they took a huge load off with there help). All the kids were happy and the machines are AWESOME. You wo

We had a vet school event here and it was the most fun I've had in forever! The staff was AMAZING and kept helping us out with the games and prizes. They even stayed late because we were all still trying to redeem our tickets at the machine. Shoutout to Chris and the other employees there that night! Super great experience and I plan on coming back with friends again.

My family went here today and had a fun and amazing time. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. They had a great variety of new games I haven't seen in other arcades and will be our go to spot for now on. We came home with a bunch of the stuffed animals from the crane games lol Also if you win 5 small stuff animals, you can trade them in for a large one which is worth it. Correct me if I'm wrong. Either way we had a blast!

.Just popped in after doing some shopping with the family. Bought the time cards for my two kids. Perfect way to kill some time since the card lasts an hour.

This place is a gem! As a regular of Round1, this place has them beat! The prices are reasonable and the probability of getting something is INFINITELY better than Round1! For their shop size, the prize choices are amazing! They were all cute! It was also really nice to see the machines were tap to play! WAYYY more convenient than to having to swipe all the time like at Round1! Even better: No machines were ever seen to be down for the count like it is at Round1! All the machines were always ready for playe

This place sucks the games are extremely overpriced also basically all the claw machines are rigged with pay amount for a full grab some of the machines are busted and the only games worth playing is the dancing game and the duck claw game

This place is such a gem. I love how clean and well maintained the place is. They have some of the best Dance Rhythm game machines I've ever used. The staff was very helpful and friendly! Will definitely make this a frequent spot

Good to see arcades are making a comeback. It's rare to see a standalone arcade these days so it's refreshing to see it.

New, Clean & Family owned. Customer service is AMAZING ! Fun friendly staff. Per my kids "This is the best Arcade we have EVER been to!" Support small & family owned business! Meeko is the BEST!!!

This place blew my mind when I walked inside, For a new arcade I had expected it to have cheaper games and expensive prices but i couldn't be more wrong, this arcade is great and definitely top 3 I've been to. The games are great and prices are very reasonable. The games you find there are like no other arcade. For example, they have games that are very rare and hard to find in America and are usually only available in Asia, including top notch dance dance revolution games, Initial D, and (my personal fav)

I think this is my 4th time here? The place is consistent with how they treat me as a guest so I just wanted to share some love.

Workers are super nice! The arcade itself is well kept and clean. Surprisingly a lot of DDR like games, Initial D, claw machines, and other classics.

machine prices is steep af but they in great condition

Great spot for rhythm gamers to checkout! They have ITG, DDR, Stepmania & PIU! Pads are well maintained and the customer service was really great! Def will return! :)

The games here great and the employees are amazing. Seriously, the service here is top notch, it's almost weird these days seeing employees happy and ensuring customers are happy and get what they need. It's refreshing and I suggest you go here soon.

Welp, this is my new spot. Wangan, Initial D, Taiko, and Pump It Up!?

Awesome arcade with a good variety of machines. Dance game heaven if you're into itg, ddr, pump or smx. The pads are first rate. Hoping this place sticks around for a good long while ??

Stepmaniax machine is fantastic! They have a fan set up, music is loud, pad is immaculate, I will be coming back soon! Everyone should check it out!

Expensive. Can't purchase time only points where each game is priced pretty excessively.

Super fun claw machines and trade ins

10/10 really fun and clean

Best arcade out there. Good prizes, easy claws, and music games!!!!

I love the drums game

Too expensive when compared to somewhere like Dave & Busters.

Super fun birthday party!!!

What a fun and clean place! We used to go to Scandia but this please is sooo much better. Staff are nice, it looks cleaned regularly and our kids love it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
