This is probably one of the oddest attractions that I've seen at Myrtle...kinda sketchy. The rock climbing walls are a "hallway" in the front of the store...literally next to a sunglasses display. We got there, paid $10 per child (June 21, 2025), and were taken to the climbing walls. No waivers of any sort. Then my 2 daughter's were helped into harnesses and the attendant called me over to show me how to clip them in and out of each of the walls...then he just left...while my daughter's climbed up the walls
My kids love it , we spent over 2 hours and for the price worth it, $10 pero child, and the arcade just have 4 games but is free and they used it multiple times in the breaks . Kids ( 4 and 6 years )
Took my daughter in to climb the wall but she didnt end up wanting to do it.. wall climbing cost $10 as of April 17,2025 ... workers were super friendly !
First off, free arcade games for the kids. 10$ for rock climbing all day. There is nothing special about the store, the same place copied over and over again. The arcade and rock climbing make this unique. Was told only the bathroom is across the road at another store. Come on now, must be a joke? Was not, had to walk my son to another store to use the restroom, only reason for 4 stars.
Definitely not an arcade! Had like six games and half didn't work. Rock wall was good for a short time with kids but def not arcade, more of a clothing store.
$20 a person and it hurt my daughter and myself. I have bruises!
Very good experience on the rock walls the woman working there was very kind and helpful
$10 per child for all 8 courses
Cropped my child out BUT the gentleman working this shown in picture was beyond nice! He works very good with the children helping them on and off as well as talking to them to make them feel more comfortable and even confident to go up! I can't thank you enough for you kindness!
Great place to look around ??
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
