Fun Unlimited

Reviews Summary

The store offers a vast selection of retro games, movies, and collectibles, with many praising its nostalgic appeal and friendly staff. However, frequent complaints highlight disorganization, misleading pricing practices, and poor trade-in values. While some appreciate the treasure-hunt experience, others criticize the messy layout, incorrect discs, and unhelpful return policies. Service quality varies, with some staff being praised for their knowledge and others for rudeness. Pricing inconsistencies and last-minute markups at checkout are major frustrations. Overall, it’s a hit-or-miss destination for retro enthusiasts.

Customer Reviews

Fun unlimited is always been a bit of a hit and miss when it comes to the stuff they sell. Over the last few years things have only gone down hill. At the current location the store is frankly disgusting. Every surface in the store is covered in a layer of grime. The floor is nasty and needs to be vacuumed more than once every few years. In the past I have found books with mold growing out of the pages. They do not have a real return policy. If you buy something you can return the item but you're never gett

What a blast from the past! My friend and I found some great old movies! We even went to go get a VCR so we could watch the movies with our kids! The guy working there was really great! Very nice and knowledgeable! One thing I will say is make sure you double check on the price because some things have old stickers on them and sometimes the prices go up and they don't always reprice them.

Just bought a ps2 and some games from there and it has been a blast playing some of old games from my childhood. Fun unlimited is such a great place for all the new and retro games and systems! Definitely will be back!

I went there February 11th to get my little brother some games for his Birthday. Love the store and usually the staff is kind and very helpful but today was not the case. I get there and for the whole 30 minutes I was there one of the employees ( I was told it was the owner) was on the phone with someone simply talking about life and politics nothing to do with the business or anything related while having another customer following him around trying to get his attention with a question, and continued to t

New place is super crowded. The older son seemed more interested with talking to other customers, younger son seemed too young to be doing what he was. They mentioned father (owner) was no where to be seen. Very messy, very crowded, somewhat organized, bit didn't like the pricing.

I have NEVER seen more in-stock PC games in one awesome store in my entire life. If you have any sort of wishlist games- new or old- or even movies or books- this is the store for you! Consoles, controllers, cords, and many other gaming and electronic extras are available as well. I was in shock when I found one of my top 3 favorite childhood games on the shelf, and I couldn't help but snatch it up. Any serious gamer from any county nearby, including Salt Lake and Utah counties, I highly reccomend this stor

My kids love this store. We have gotten Wii games, movies and MTG cards. Owner is helpful and friendly.

I can overlook the place being unorganized and sort of gross - strangely common for retro shops. What i can't forgive though is stopping me at the register to tell me "these haven't been repriced in 15 years" and then googling what it sells for online and jacking the price up 40$. Who does that? That's just disgusting. No sale, and I recommend this place be avoided like the plague.

My GF loved the catalogue of books. There's like a bajillion of them. I absolutely loved the retro game selection. There's even the original Animal Crossing!

I already hate how they google the games you bring to the register to see if they need to quickly raise the price before you check out, but this was even worse. We bought a season of a TV show, and when they went to put in all the discs, I guess they couldn't find Disc 1, so they put a bright orange halloween special of the same series, but didn't bother telling us, so we didn't notice until we got home. I already hate their return policy, (if you can even call it that), but when we went back they said they

The new location a messy, the service was terrible. The 2 games I got for my XBox 360 (NHL2K8 and NHL 2K10) that I picked up had the wrong discs (NHL 08 and NHL 10.) I called and told them of frustrations and there was no response, no ?What can we do to correct this.? I will be returning these and expect a refund. Avoid this and take your business elsewhere!

Love this store. The owner and his son are so kind and I'm so happy they found a new place after the mall tore down.

Love the idea of being able to find anything to spark nostalgia. Huge selection of old and new entertainment. The classic arcade games are fun. The staff is always available and willing to answer questions and help customers. Hallway to restrooms are kind of sketchy. Restrooms could use better attention.

There are lots of cool old stuff but no good gamecube controllers.... sure, the ones they have will work but not to the standard I require. Overall, nice store that also has lots of nostalgia tied to it.

They have a wide selection of just about everything relating to video games. Just remember that it's almost all used, so there is a degree of uncertainty. The store is loosely organized, I've been coming here since they first opened several years ago and it looks like they rarely clean. They do offer to take books, movies, games, consoles, etc. and trade it for store credit. Overall, a decent place to look if you want some used games, comics, books, or trading cards.

They had lots of shiny, exciting arcade games set up at the front. They offered $7 a person for "unlimited" arcade game play for an hour. Seemed like a good deal until we found out that at Fun Unlimited the "fun" is limited to 3 broken down machines in the back. We asked for a refund of course, and were treated very poorly. We could only find one employee and he entered in the refund then walked off. The refund didn't go through and we had to wait fifteen minutes for another employee to show up and help us.

Great amount of retro and tech stuff, but it is messy because of the mall being shut down.

Chris is my hero dude. He just worked for like 20 minutes straight getting trying to get a controller to work on Mac for me. We found out no controller. Works on Java.. Which sucks a lot, but still, this guy is awesome. 10/10 12 years ago or so I remember hitting the store, I think it's under new management and it's so much better now. I'm very impressed..

Brought in five fairly popular Wii U games to trade in. Grand total dollar worth of ALL five of my games was $9. Or they said I could have $18 of in-store credit. There is no way those games are only worth $9. Whatever, $9 bucks is absolutely ridiculous, so I took the in-store credit. The place is super messy. If you're looking for an arcade, only half the games work. Or you can pay extra to go to a little corner and play a select few games for an unlimited amount of time. Makes zero sense. Only good part a

I have been an active game collector for the over 8 years. I have shopped at many stores in several states. Today I was in there for quite a while looking at games and had picked out several. When I get to the register, I was then told that they had to look up the prices to make sure they were accurate prices. They then raised the price of one of the games I had picked. Through all the years of collecting I have never had a store with such poor practices. If you care that much then you need to update the pr

Used to like going here, but lately I've had too many negative experiences to continue. Tried selling some cards, took nearly a month to hear back on what they were going to offer for them even with me calling multiple times, and then was told I needed to pick them up the next day or they'd be considered abandoned. Cards valued on TCGplayer for around $500 at the time and were in excellent condition, I was offered a mere ~$80 in cash or $150 in store credit. Went in again recently to give them another try,

Don't recommend. They don't even test games before putting them on sale. They only offer to clean the game if it has issues or in store credit. The store is a mess with tons of things that don't even work. It's a place that I am not really comfortable to shop in and I was really only there to try and get Mario Kart for the wii. BTW I bought this game for $50 and it doesn't even work. now I have $50 dollars in credit to use at a store that probably doesn't have anything else I want. Don't make my mistake hah

This is an awesome store! They have got a bunch of old games and accessories. The only issue is that most of the products don't work guaranteed. And as far as I know you aren't allowed to return anything, so you're taking a risk with whatever you buy. Out of the 10 Nintendo games I bought only 3 worked...

I love this store! there is really nothing wrong with it, except for the fact that it is very dusty. The staff, are some of the best people have ever met! They are super friendly and they chime in there opinions on the game you are about too buy. Yes there return policy does kind of take advantage of you by taking a dollar off every day that you keep the game. But all in all this store is a very good store I love coming here, they have a large selection of games and movies!

After Hastings closed down I thought I wouldn't find another store like it. Until a friend told me to try fun unlimited, which I thought was only for gamers, but it's not. They have so many variety of movies, books, games, ect. and the prices or super cheap. I enjoy coming here to buy some good classic movies or even movies I enjoyed to watch. Another thing I loved about this place was that all the employees are super SUPER nice and helpful and have a great personality. The crazy part was that I was t

Pokemon cards, movies, DVDs, video games game systems, action figures, collectibles. Pretty much all of these things at very reasonable prices. most of the things sold in there you'll be hard-pressed to find a better price even online. The staff is always very and kind. But generally it is a get what you find kind of place. It is a very small store with a lot of stuff in it. You have to sort though to find what you want. If you are a red box person, you should consider switching to fun unlimited. Bigger sel

Dim lighting, lady at counter didn't greet me nor respond to me. I felt so unwelcome, no customer service. Great selection of movies, more games than GameStop! Prices should be lower, definitely ?mall? prices being so high. Big warehouse-like store, but need some improvements with staff and prices. My first visit so other staff may be friendly, I rave again about their huge selection of media, check it out for that alone! Watch your step- some of those carpeted sections were elevated and almost tripped!

Really cool to go, petty good prices and you have a 30 day warranty. It is huge with so many games. If you love games in it a must come. It is a little messy, but a mes never hurt many.

Huge location with an amazing selection of obscure and rare games. Definitely will get lost in searching for something that you've been wanting for a while. Here's the downside from a customer standpoint. The pricing that you see on the items on the shelves aren't the actual price. Once you get to the register and you try to check out everything is re-priced before you can leave. From what I can totally use price charts Amazon and eBay for pricing. The caveat to this is if the price on the game is lower tha

This was a fun experience to go to. There not many stores in the area. Most of it is well organized so you are able to find everything fairly easily. Pricing I felt like could be more competitive. Their prices are based off of an online market value. It not bad but it does defeat the point of coming to a store like this. Not at bad a place to stop by.

This is a fun store with a lot of video games for all sorts of systems, books, movies, records, things I have no clue what they are, handheld systems and things like older x-boxes and spare controllers for multiple systems. They even have Leapfrog/pad stuff for kids. Honestly, the only reason I didn't rate them 5 stars is because the store has so much that I had a very difficult time finding what I was looking for. But for just browsing, its great!

This place is okay. Not great, just okay. Wide selection of random things but they tend to be thrown everywhere but most things are in alphabetical order (once you fine it). They do sell new copies of games, sealed, and have a 30 day guarantee on it, which is nice. The one thing I do not like are their prices for retro games. NOTHING is marked with the correct price, you will be asked to pay more from their system that dictates current market price. They do not take into consideration the condition of the g

I felt like a little kid in a candy shop: This place is incredible and a lot bigger than you'd expect. They sell all sort of stuff here; video games, movies, books and more. I felt the pricing for what they have is reasonable. The service is decent and they are willing to help. I honestly just love coming here.

This location is better than the old one. There are arcade games to play and a ton of games an accessories. Nearly every time I visit it seems they are having a problem finding a game they say they have in stock. It is cluttered with stacks of games and random accessories. I don't think the floor has seen a broom or vacuum in months.

I bought two movie sets and one had a duplicate disk and missing one of three and the other was completely the wrong disks. They insist on keeping most of the DVDs behind the counter, and This is not the first time I have gotten the wrong disks picked out by the workers. Also the store is an absolute disaster; games, books, movies, cds all strewn all over the floor and in piles blocking other shelves making it nearly impassable on foot and more than definetly impossible for anyone in a mobility aid. And whi

It's a decent store. However I really don't like their pricing practices when it comes to video games lately. Often I'll find a game for a decent price on the sticker but when I go to check out they tell me it's actually worth more and charge me double or even triple the sticker price! That's not good business practice. Also they charge full market value for games that are basically disc only when disc only games on eBay are significantly less. Heck I bought a a disc only copy of Blinx the Time Sweeper for

Went to sell some books and movies was told 3$ a book sell price then next day they tell me they can do 9$ for 50lbs of books. Can't even honor his employee's agreements. Has very poor customer service, and when decided that I will not sell my hard cover for a complete serious first edition books for not even 25 cents a book. Not to mention an authentic(authentication though a professional with a certificate of authentication) of a signature from a voice actor in Demon Slayer. Just pathetic and worse then g

This store is a fun treasure trove that can bring you through memory lane and teach you new stuff. The employees are very polite and some of them will actually work to remember customer's names. The store may be a bit cramped and over stocked, but it personally feels like an adventure searching for things and discovering things. If you can't find what you are looking for, they are very fast at checking for you.

Went in an bought a old gaming system , the lady unfortunately sold me the wrong charger for it an was missing a crucial piece to play the game we wanted , went back the next day an bought a different game system than was told the sticker price was wrong an it was 80$ more . Then when I asked about it the gentleman with the man bun was extremely rude with any questions I asked he acted like I was dumb an was very impatient . Spent 370$ on an old game system a games , would expect them to answer question an

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I live in Daybreak Utah and am used to F.Y.E. but it's closing. Yes, this drive is about an hour and a half for me BUT WORTH IT. Everything is in alphabetical order so things are easy to find even though it doesn't look so. If you are looking for movies, games or game stations.. this place is awesome! I bought a cord needed to run my original Super Nintendo plus some fun games to buy for my station. I also found 3 seasons of a TV series that is very hard to find. The owner is super nice a

OK its not always the cleanest, but they've come a long way in the last year or two, really getting organized. The employees tend to be unsocial at best. But they have a *massive* selection of games and movies at amazing prices, there is no where else in Utah where you can find such a great assortment of classic games, especially for the PC (though they have a huge selection for every platform under the sun -- I've even seen games for Amiga). And Scott (the proprietor) is a really cool guy, he loves what he

This store is quite quirky. As you can probably tell from the other reviews, you either love it or hate it. Yes, it's messy. Yes, it's kind of a dump. Service can even be a bit of a pain sometimes. However, it is quite a treasure trove of retro gaming systems, books, movies, and even trading cards. You want a clean, modern high-end video gaming shop? Hop on over to Game Stop (which is also located in the Cache Valley Mall). That way you get the best of both worlds.

I love this place. I love the atmosphere, I love the treasure hunting, I love how overstuffed it is with entertainment artifacts. The place is a mess, constantly, like something out of a movie- a wizard's cluttered library or a dystopian Blade Runner shack-shop crammed with God knows what. You can spend hours in here getting lost in nostalgia or discovering odd, unique relics from days gone by. Come for the experience, there's nothing else like it, it's like an eternal yard sale of games, stories, and memo

It's a mess. It's almost like walking in to a junk yard except junk yards tend to still have some organization. Also, their prices are FAR too high for being all used items. Updated: They have moved to a new section of the mall with a lot more space. It's a lot more organized now so it gets 3 stars instead of 2. Prices are still astronomically high for what you get though.

I went in there to get a decent price on my books, Hardcovers and in perfect condition and the guy at the desk said he'd give me a ten cents a piece for all of them, and on top of it all he gave me twenty bucks for my xbox. over all this place is crowded and doesn't have a great selection of anything. wouldn't go again, and i don't recommend selling them anything at all.

Great store its a gold mine for finding old dvds games. Books and cds. Probably the last store of its kind in Utah. Their owner, and employees are very friendly. Also rather shop here for used media. Amazon and eBay have a lot of fakes. My mom got a copy of a movie. From ebay it was bootleg. It had a purple tint. And when played would always stop playing at certain time. Did not know about purple tint till she showed me.

They used to be a dirty store with pretty much anything retro gaming you want to find. Now that they moved to the spot 30 feet away, they have all the room they need. Now it's a spacious store with pretty much anything retro gaming you want to find. Also, movies and stuff, vhs, DVD, & blu-ray. Reminds me of Blockbuster, but you buy instead of rent.

I bought an xbox one power cord and box today for $37 (which is ridiculous because amazon sells them for $19). I decided to buy it anyway as I didn't want to be rude and might as well get it there and now. Took it home only to find it didn't work. I took it back to get a refund and found out they don't do refunds and only give in store credit. Save yourselves the money and don't buy as theres no guarentee the stuff works because apparently they don't check their stuff before they sell it. That and they rac

Drove 300 miles (one way) because we'd heard this was *the place* for retro game collectors. It really is the place for harder to find games. They have a ton of stuff and probably everything you could ever want...if you can find it. The place is truly a mess, games and boxes have been destroyed because they're left on the floor to get stepped on, etc. It is very unorganized and it takes at least a half an hour to get waited on. The kids running the counter had a really hard time finding discs and cartridges

Fun Unlimited has been my go to retro spot for nearly 20 years. Great staff and they have a bit of everything. They just moved into the old JC Penney spot on the mall which is great. Plenty of room for everything including some new arcade machines.

Ceiling high bookshelves crammed full of retro video games, cds, books and magazines. Staff is usually super nice. The place could use a volunteer or two to help clean and organize stuff, and the prices are typical for the Utah market for retro games (higher than market), but are the only place in the state I have found Virtual Boy games. Overall a fun place to visit if your into video games at all.

Literally hundreds of thousands of Video games, Movies, Comics, and Books. Better than Borders! This is much needed for Cache Valley. And the owner is one of the most genuinely friendly and kind person I have ever met.

My 7 year old son has been saving his hard earned allowance money for a while now. We went to Fun Unlimited as he had his heart set on Pokeman games. A purchase was made for $45. We played the game for roughly 20 minutes before the game stopped and said it was unreadable. We reset the game and played a while longer, before it did the same thing. We went back to get a refund and are told there is a small sign taped to the desk that states "no cash refunds" According to the English language Cash is money in

This place is a Cache Valley staple. I have memories as far back as probably 2006 coming here with friends, getting lost in the maze of mixed media, and to this day it's magical. To this day I always find treasures here

Tried to charge me $50 for an Atari game that's going for $15 on eBay it was a joke. About 1/3 of there prices are good but most of them are pretty terrible. Tried to reprice every single game I took the counter and then tried to charge me over 2 times the price they were originally asking.

They really bait and switch here, I thought everyone else in the reviews were just being babies but sure enough all the games I brought up they said they had to charge the prices and asked 5-15$ more for each one. What's the point of the price tags? I'll just go to game stop from now on. And to clarify this was about a week ago and I've seen about 3 other reviews saying the same thing just in the past couple of days, I hope they see them and don't just ignore it because by what I can see it's the only non c

My husband and I purchased a game for our Xbox one here. The person at the register did not show us the game disc before putting it in the case and checking us out. We went home and tried to download the game in the Xbox, but the disc is SO SCRATCHED that it was unable to be downloaded. We took it back to the store the next day and they checked for a different disc (which they didn't have). Then they buffed our disc for us and told us to come back for a return if it didn't work. We tried that evening again,

It's a little difficult to find your way around the store, but this place has been in business for 20 plus years. They have the best selection of retro and modern games, and they back up what they sell. I love going there. They can be a little pricey at times though.

I went in to try and get a game but there were three copies of the game and they were all marked at different prices. So all in all it seems like a pretty good place to sell your stuff but I'm not too sure about buying. They will definitely have stuff that you can't find anywhere else. Also they have a coin pusher machine in there and from everything I've researched I'm pretty sure those are illegal. But they are fun.

Although they have a great selection of used entertainment, the store is a disgusting mess and the staff is the WORST, especially the kid with the orange mohawk. They're rude, lazy, slow and unprofessional. Questions are met with snippy comments or are just flat out ignored and God forbid you ask them to help you find something. Buying anything results in them spending at least 20 minutes in the back looking for the the disc and fairly often it's not even the right disc when you get the item home and open t

If you wanna find some old school new school and just weird game stuff this is the place. I've been going here since I was like 12 years old I'm now 36 lol prices may be a little more but keep in mind that's what he paid for it so he has to break even. They litterally have everything you can think of games books cds ect trading cards a arcade all the cool stuff. This new location you have space to walk around now and can see what they have to sell its pretty nice

Fun Unlimited is the place in Cache valley for vintage gaming and no so vintage gaming. They have pretty much any old console and video game there and they are always expanding their inventory. Be mindful the prices can get steep so make sure you have the funds to indulge in your nostalgia fix. They offer more than games in the form of Physical Media; old magazines, comics, and manga. They have an arcade if you feel like you want to get the experienc of an arcade machine or simply want to relive the days of

Everytime I go to Fun Unlimited I get to the register and the games are more than the price tag, sometimes by $50-$60! They need to get their price tags correct. It's false advertising and feels like they are just trying to trick customers into choosing items only to be charged more than the tag says.

Very messy, dark, and cluttered. If you were a collector, you'd be able to find some interesting stuff, but it's not easy to go searching. The books section looks like a train hit it.

Staff has always been very helpful. The store was as described by previous reviewers. Yes, they have worked on the disorganization and it is better than before but it's still not what you'd see at a standard store. People say its cheap but if you compare it to GameStop, and/or ebay it really isn't. Since they price their games depending on how many there are, the only cheap games they have are generally found on the greatest hit list. If you find a game they only have one copy of, they jack up the price ove

I have not seen a Store like it, dad's and Blurays of every genre. If your looking for a movie, game or other entertainment you need to search here first! They also have An arcade with many old school machines-I even saw some pinball.

Be prepared to take a risk if you shop here. I hate to give a poor review because the staff seems friendly (and I collect retro game stuff) but their return policy is deciving. Near the register they have a sign that says exchanges or return for credit only no cash refunds (it does not say they will not return credit to the card you used to purchase). At the time of purchase no mention of any return restrictions was made by my cashier. I bought a used game for more than online sellers charge, but I did not

Good place to find retro stuff, they have a lot of games and most of the prices are fair. You could get a lot of the stuff cheaper online, but with shipping cost it might be the same or more, along with a wait to use what you bought. You can't return things for a refund, but you can exchange for the same value. I bought a gba SP that I didn't know had broken shoulder buttons, they let me exchange it for a fully working DS lite. They also have a lot of movies and books. Almost all of the games are real, but

As much as I really really want to like this place, it's a cluttered mess with awful deals. If you are looking for something rare this might be the place for you considering they have a massive collection of games/comics/movies/playing cards but otherwise everything "normal" is very overpriced. You know there is an issue when you can find a game brand new at GameStop, and the same game used for twice as much here.

Britt was an absolute joy to the world to have met and received such AMAZING service from. Britt answered all of my questions and even brighten up my day! Whomever is hiring your employees is doing a GREAT job! (???????)<3

Awesome arcade games. My kids have a fun time playing them, and I like perusing the all the old games and movies. Staff is friendly as can be.

I love this place. It could use a little more organization but I drive from Nampa, Idaho at least once a year to go here. This is the only place I have been able to find games for old consoles and they give a return warranty with every game sold. This store brings out my inner child.

This place is awesome. They have tons of great stuff. The staff is always wonderful. The arcade is growing and fun. Sadly the mall this store is in is being destroyed in lime march 2024. They do have an ogden and provo store though.

My experience with this store has been overall very good. Right off the bat though, I will say the store can literally look like a dump, and it is hard to walk around the stuff on the floor. Is the the workers/owners fault though??? ABSOLUTELY NOT, and they certainly don't deserve bad ratings for it. What happens is they offer things like magic cards, pokemon cards, comics, and other rare things of such, and when people come in to look through them, they are ravenous, inconsiderate beasts! I bet half of th

Doubled the price of my game at the checkout stand, (after checking on ebay) lying and saying that "somebody" priced it wrong. Dirty, cluttered, asthma, have been going here for years. The owner is a snob, won't let you test out his vintage systems at his store. workers very unhelpful, and the place a disorganized rat infested mess that needs to be cleaned up. Won't come back.

Doesn't matter what the sticker price says, they look up the price for everything the moment you bring it up to them. Pretty sure that's illegal in utah if it already has a price tag on it. eBay is known for being over priced and yet eBay prices are cheaper than here:/

Just so I can be clear, this store has many things wrong with it. From feeling like a daycare ( children all around) to the putrid smell that flows out of it, this place is bad news. I have purchased games from here before, and their return policy is just as horrible. Even if i bring it back that day, no cash refund, and they take a dollar off the amount for every day I had it as a "rental" fee. Now I am sorry but if i buy a game to find "Oh i already own it" dont charge me for it! I am a collector and cann

There's a crazy amount of stuff here. I found some neat things, but I had to dig for the books I found. Also, it took like 15 minutes to checkout because they have an ancient and terrible checkout system.

My wife and I both love store. I dont know about all the negative reviews it is a little messy, but as far as the return policy I love it I've gotten 2 games that didn't work and they gave me another copy that did. If you aren't a hard core gamer and don't want to spend tons on games their prices are good and.they have about anything you could want if you can find it but they've hepled me.find a game or two before also. Staff is friendly and helpful I'd totally recommend this store to anyone.

Honest review from a customer. It's a good place to shop good deals, but don't ever trade in stuff there. They do rip you off really bad, and when you try to ask how much you got per item they get mad and don't want to tell and it's because they are giving you a penny to nothing for stuff you trade in... Don't trade with the afro dude that works there he's the worst when trading.

Sold me a broken controller that was brought back within 24 hours, refused to give a cash refund, refused to even give the full amount paid in store credit, and would not replace it. I cant understand how this isn't just theft. Save your money and walk 2 more minutes to the gamestop and save yourself the hassle.

Went here the other day to look for older game console cables. the 16 year olds working behind the counter had no idea what I was talking about and after spending 30 mins looking in this messy store for what i was looking for, I finally found what i was looking for only to be told by the kid in the front these are in ?high demand? and the cable i wanted was going to be $30. on amazon and ebay its 5$ for 3 of them. Trash store

It's a pretty cool palce. They have a huuuuge, massive selection of stuff. I've bought a lot of manga there. It's pretty hard to find some things though. It's very crowded but they've improved since they first opened. They've put in more shelves and cleaned up a bit more although there's still stuff lying around everywhere. My friends buy games from there often. I've bought a couple of games here and they worked great. Their customer service is pretty good and like I said, their selection is huge and the pr

What a let down! I drove 90 miles to look for Sega Saturn games, found a couple I wanted, and the price increased at the counter. Clerk said that they can recheck prices and increase to current market value. The signs that are posted are poorly designed. $15 for two games turned into $80.

Shelves And Shelves Inventory Treasure Trove Of VHS Tapes Every Title You Can Remember At Low Low Low Prices.. My Tv IS Cable VHS Player. I Watch VHS Tapes Alot! They're Hard To Find. Well Not Any More!! Cash Valley Mall ?

I tried to buy 2 gamecube games for $10 each which is what they had them priced at and what price chart has them for. She told me she had them priced wrong and wanted $50 for one and $30 for the other. Got them both off ebay for less than $20. Wish I could give negative stars

Walked in no one said ?hello? or ?hi welcome? in fact didn't even know I walked in they were to busy eating on the counter. chose what I wanted to get and on the box it said that it was 14.99 when I got to the checkout they said the game was not what it was marked but said it was subject to change and they raised the price right in front of me this store is nothing but a bait and switch and should be shut done and just to mention it was also filthy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
