Reviews Summary

The arcade receives mixed feedback, with many praising its extensive pinball selection, clean machines, and family-friendly atmosphere. Positive reviews highlight well-maintained Stern tables with Insider Connect, reasonable prices, and helpful staff. However, recurring complaints include malfunctioning machines that eat coins/tokens, broken parts, and lack of on-site assistance. Fun Stop Arcade in the Berlin Farmers Market is the real deal for pinball enthusiasts! It's located on the Westside in the middle of the Mart. The machines will accept cash and also have swipe card integration. I was blown away by the selection of pinball machines, especially the newest Stern pinball machines with the Insider Interactive Platform. They're all in fantastic condition and a blast to play. I spent an hour trying to rack up points and chase those elusive bonuses. The atmosphere was electric, w

We came here to check out the pinball machines. I can't believe they have such a huge pinball machine. It was crazy fun. Going to have to set aside a day to come play all the pinball machines.

Stern insider connect is consistently offline for a majority of the pinball machines. Need to fix that. Also machines have broken parts just sitting unfixed. Owner responded and seems to be looking into it!

Awesome place with a huge selection of pinball machines. If you enjoy the silver ball this place has it all!

I have been going to the Berlin Pinball Fun Stop Arcade for the last year and it just keeps getting better! They have a fantastic selection of classic and new machines, all in amazing condition. Since January 2024 at least 8 or more new machines were added. As far as I know one largest web connected Stern pinball machines in the area. It's the perfect place for a fun family outing, and the prices are really reasonable. The Fun Stop Arcade is a real gem in the Berlin Farmers Mart!

I LOVE the Fun Stop Arcade! This arcade has it all from classic games to pinball to new games. I really enjoy play pinball, especially when they have tournaments on Sundays. The best part is it's a family run business. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their arcade.

Recently took my kids to this arcade. It was sooo loud, smells like 100 ash trays and the best part was the crane machine saying "Play Till You Win" Then in parentheses saying you only get one try so take your time. There is a nice array of pinball games though. Unfortunately its everything I expected. I was just hoping it would've been different.

The pinball machine took my coins without working and there was no attendant for help.

Genuinely one of if not the best pinball arcades I have been to especially with there not being a lot of good pinball places here in South Jersey. I used to do a lot of my pinball practice at the Starcade in Mays Landing. Last time I went all of their tables were crooked. But so far everytime I went to Fun Stop the owner has been right on top on not only the cleanliness of the machines but also their functionality. Not only that but all of their Stern tables have the insider add on which I cannot say the sa

So far its given me $50? It seems crazy, seems hopefully legit.

This is a very nice arcade with new and old games like Pac-Man, donkey kong, mortal kombat, street fighter ect as well as pinball machines and shooters like house of the dead and the walking dead! The only thing holding this arcade back is the machines eat your coins ?? and the game does not start and the ms Pac-Man machine next to the SpongeBob game has a broken joystick ??? it makes the experience frustrating , I look for a manager to tell about the situation but I can't seem to find one, please fix the j

Nice mid-size arcade inside the Berlin Farmer's Market. Lots of classic with a mix of new arcade games and pinballs. We always stop in when visiting the market shops!

Solid pinball selection, coins from their change machine don't always work though.

Awesome I love the app

Gumball machine out front doesn't work but takes your money.

No one there to assist when machines eat your money and don't operate

Manager was very prompt with helping us. Thanks

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
