Great choices. Nice staff. However.. Price for most games is ridiculous; $2.50?? If you bring more than (1) child you can spend a hundred in a minute.. We've had family parties here. Pricey, but fun.
I'd like to give a big thank you to Kendra at Fun Quest supervisor for taking the time to answer all of our questions about our daughter?s upcoming party. She was friendly, professional, and made everything really easy to understand. She clearly explained what to expect, what we can bring, and how the event will be organized. Her help gave us a lot of confidence going into the party. Really appreciate the great service?thank you, Kendra!
Great birthday spot. I had the most fun at Lazer tag. My daughter seemed to like the fair-style games and the climbing area. The party room was a decent size, and the pizza comes from The Round Table next door.
We had an amazing time with family and friends. It was very clean, spacious and a lot of different options for every age group. Shannon was amazing very helpful and knowledgeable. We had an issue with our play card and it was an actual user error. She showed us how and what to do. Even when there is multiple people asking her all different questions she knew how to handle it and address each concern as they came in. Do you recommend this place to all of our family and friends when they come up to visit as t
Went for a Birthday party. Great day and fun time! Ivan at the prize counter was so kind and Awesome to my daughter even though they were seriously understaffed- he smiled and was kind and professional. We appreciate EVERYONE that goes to work right now. There's so many that won't go to work or can't and if they do are really rude. I am grateful for the time and people at Fun Quest! ??????????
We came here thinking that it was going to be fun like it once was. We purchased a hundred dollar gaming card only to be disappointed by walking into a place where half of the games were out of order. All swipes on these games ranged from $1-$3 per swipe. But we're really limited with all of these broken games. Beyond that I played a game that said I would win 500 tickets if I beat a certain score. Only to be swindled, because the game only game me 100 tickets, instead of the 500 that is advertised. I truly
This place was a blast for my 3 year old! For $12 he got to run around, make new friends and burn off energy! With the obstacle area being enclosed it felt very safe and was clean as well! He had a great time playing games and running around on the obstacle course and bouncy house! We then had great pizza at Round Table conveniently located a few steps away. Definitely going to do it again!
I had a party here for my son's 7th birthday and its a great time! Great deal for what you get. A very attentive and polite party host helps you on your party room. Lots to do for the kids. Good birthday party package!
Best I-cube game ever I win every time I go there. On Black Friday which was November 29 2024 I won a Nintendo switch and ps5 on that game.
Hey what can I say,,our Granddaughters, had so much fun,,they never stopped. G-ma's and Papa Lou's with two. 5 year old ,,running shopping pizza candy fun all around, Grateful for the fun ,night out .,,yep we'll go again,
Today we come to celebrate my son's 10th birthday. We will stay 2 nights and we will enjoy all the attractions that they have here for the whole family!
Good variety of amusements, games, and "ticket-spitters" at this arcade. Perhaps not as large as the website would have you believe, but a good way to spend a few hours with the kids.
I've waited days to write this review to formulate my thoughts. This place is not what it once was. I'm 31 years old and have been coming here since I was a child. I decided to take my 7 kids so they could experience what I once did. Immediately upon arrival they were doing construction, which drastically cut down on the walk space. We paid $72 for our kids to enjoy Tumble Town. The play structure and toddler area were great. The place, however, was extremely dirty and in need of a good dusting. There was n
My recent visit to Fun Quest was an absolute blast! From start to finish, it was a non-stop adventure filled with excitement, laughter, and unforgettable memories. First and foremost, the variety of activities at Fun Quest was impressive. From arcade games and laser tag to bumper cars and mini-golf, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're a kid or a kid at heart, the sheer range of options ensured that boredom was never an option. The atmosphere at Fun Quest was lively and welcoming, with
My kids love it I do to so much fun for the kids and me
Very poor service, no maintenance on most games. Paid $75 for unlimited games on new years Eve and they purposely deactivated more than half of ALL the games. Such a waste of money. Nothing works. Such a rip off. My kids had so much more fun at Circus Circus. Games were more updated.
We take the kids there about every other weekend. They just got a bunch on new games that younger kids can play almost with no parent help. Almost every game takes their arcade card that you get there. That helps hold the money for the games as well as the tickets won. I love taking the kids here. To get the VIP prices, one has to spend 300 dollars total, probably best for locals.
Out of all of the arcades that we have brought our family to and of all the reviews I have done this is the worst, hands down arcade. One person working the cashier and ticket booth. All card machines were broken. I would say at least 40 percent conservatively of the games were out of order. Some were not but would take your money and not work. Do not go here!!!
This place is fun! The staff are not very friendly and when you tried to talk to im assuming the manager of the arcade who was wearing a suit didn't talk back to you and didn't smile... she just seemed angry that she had to run the bumper cars... the two staff that ran the ticket booth were off in there own little world and took forever to wait on us... but other then that it was pretty fun!
The arcade has a lot of games, but quite a few were broken. And there are signs that say, ?the game issues tickets, all awards final.? Which basically means don't complain. The kids had fun, but we spent $50 in 30 minutes and had a two dollar stuffed animal to show for it. I personally won't be coming back. When things are that much of a rip off, it just takes the fun out of it.
I used to go here all the time as a kid, so I went back in December with some friends to relive the memories, and now this place is terrible. Half the machines didn't work, and a lot are just simulated phone games you can download for free on the app store! Not to mention the huge price to just play ONE game. A dollar or more per play, seriously?? Two machines even took my money without me even being able to play. I will never be coming back here again
Many games are broken, jackpots don't actually give out the right amount of tickets. Games are priced odd so every child has less then a dollar on card and can't be spent. What a way to rip off kids. Redeeming tickets is a joke. Everything is so inflated nothing half decent is actually achievable. Place is simply not cool or fun.
Took my daughter to play arcade games and to jump/climb on their bounce house. Was an enjoyable day for us.
Nice, somewhat inexpensive place to take the kids. As locals we go there every other month or so, which makes the vip program worth the price. And tumble town is a great place to let the kids let off some steam in winter or when it gets too hot in the summer, just not great for tiny kiddos as parents are not supposed to go into the play structure.
WAY over priced! Not very many games. You hardly get any tickets for the amount of money it costs to play these games. The kids that work behind the counter have HORRIBLE customer service. Complete waste of money. If you wanna take yourself and kids somewhere fun and worth your buck go to the Coconut bowl in Sparks. You would think for how much money the GSR brings in they would make their funquest a little more fun. Massive disappointment.
Tumbletown was perfect for my three year old to go nuts. Adults are not allowed to go in the structures (it's like a huge McDonald's place with a couple inflatable bouncy house slides) but it doesn't seem super strict since I saw a few moms playing with/dragging out their kid. The one entrance is gated with lots of comfy seating nearby and most parents were playing on their phones there while the children were running around. Wristband is $10, but I didn't see it enforced when I went.
Waste of money. 35% of the games were out of order and 15% of the games didn't give us tickets. Just a straight up waste of money. It's clear they do not invest any money into this part of the business. I feel bad for the employees that have to deal with constant complaints. I'm sure its embarrassing
This place is a rip off! Do not waste your money! Find a real arcade in the city. Half of these games are broken and they do not have out of order signs on them. My kids left so disappointed. If you want to waste $100 in 10 mins with no results, go to the casino upstairs.
Expanded and has new "fair/circus" games that are fun. Also had laser tag, and the kids had a blast. We attended as part of a birthday party, the kids all had a really good time. Nice place to visit, seems like a great place to have a birthday party.
Other than required to wear masks, it's a cool lil place to let the kids run around. (Beer is available for the adults) the prices on each game need to be dropped down. Just my opinion.
the only thing I've have against fun quest is that they took away all the ticket game machines and the old school arcade games like mortal kombat that they had. but honestly they made up for it with all the newer installments. a bit expensive but it's fun while you're there. i'd recommend having a bit of money to spend because you're going to go over your limit if you're not careful, especially when it's your first time there.
The kids love this place. It is a good spot to let the kids go crazy in the bounce house area while you sit back and relax. Ten dollars for a bracelet and they can run and jump around all day till 11 pm getting tired out. There is alot of cool video games to play and some lazer tag as well. The little snack bar even sells beer! Gotta love that part.
Small arcade in Grand Sierra Hotel, we enjoyed our time at Round One which is a few mins away better, more games and bowling
Check the games carefully before buying an arcade card. The games will all be turned on and so it looks like everything is fine, but the card reader isn't working on most of the games.
Very nice. Almost all the games are newer. One big downside is that almost every game was at least 75 cents per play and very short. A lot of games were a dollar to a dollar fifty per play and a a few were even more, up to 3 dollars. You can very easily burn through 10 dollars in 15 mins on the games, even less if you pick the wrong ones.
Meh. Lots of broken machines qnd card readers that aren't marked. Just so much broken equipment and dust/dirt. Kids had fun though but the state of the place and money put in to it is pretty dissapointing.
Great deal for the price. This was a good idea for the birthday party.
This is my first time writing a review, This place was terrible when me and my friends got there we played the game stacker my friend won a prize and it got stuck dispensing it so we asked the a guy named Edward or Edwin if he can grab it for us. He told us he will be right there and when he came he asked us ?If we check the security cameras it will show you winning? We said yes and he walked to the back room for about 4 minutes. Finally a guy that thought he was badass came walking up to us with stiff sho
My son and I had a blast! The laser tag room was like a sauna & it was a pricey trip for a single mom on a budget, but we had a blast & will definitely be back!
The kids love it, especially laser tag and tumbletown. Staff doesnt monitor tumbletown, though, so there were a bunch of kids in there who didnt buy the "required" wrist band and there were a bunch of teenagers (posted max age is 12...)being obnoxious and practically running over the little kids the place is meant for.
I love the friendly staff! We had my granddaughter's birthday party there and Emma was our party hostess. She was wonderful! All the kids had so much fun!
This arcade was a rip off and should basically have a sign that says beware!! All the games were out of order and some that worked didn't work properly which was just a rip off I would not record this place
25% of the games were shut off. 20% ate our money. There were no attendants to help, and the prize area was pathetic and nearly empty. This place used to be great but has seriously gone downhill in the last 5 years. Won't return.
Circus circus has a better variety of games. I'm a claw game addict, and found their claw machines lacking in variety as well as lacking in cute toy offerings. All the toys were creepy looking generic dolls.
This place is horrible. More than half the games are either broken or off or malfunctioning. Prize value is worse than other places like coconut bowl. It used to be great but now it's truly sad.
The laser tag and bumper cars were good. The arcade games were okay. The guy at the front desk is a legend ??
Fantastic arcade plenty of games for the kids to play even some for adults let's the children experience the gambling motif and win tickets to buy prizes a great little arcade.
Very dissapionting. Did not live up to the advertisment. If you are looking for an arcade and fun for kids in the casino then I would reccomend Circus Circus over Fun Quest.
Fun for kids. Abit clamped and feels like I'm trapped lol. But decent price for Lazer tagging and whatnot. Good games to play, but like I said it feels clamped so it's kind of small but cool for kids.
Quite a big fun center. Some old games, some new. Some coin operated, some use the rfid cards. I'm a retro arcade guy (I'm old!) so I think it needs more token skill games, and atleast a couple coin pushers would be nice
It was pretty cool not very crowded there weren't that many people to play laser tag with because of covid-19 but the staff was super friendly and super helpful
It has a lot of different types of games all areas were clean and staff was nice especially Latrice Blackwell she's funny and impressive!
There is more than half of the games broken and almost all of them cost 2 dollars, overpriced and dirty, don't recommend if you are looking for a fun arcade
Super fun, and the games don't cost much. The only downside is that the prizes cost a lot of tickets, but that's fair given that it's an arcade.
Staff is friendly, games fairly pricey and the worst was last time we went in literally half the machines/games were broken. How is an arcade possibly open if half your games don't work?!
Too expensive!! $2-3 per play and games that charge you then are over in less than 10 seconds...I feel like this place is a complete waste of money and time.
Games need updating, too expensive for the low quality activities being provided. Close to $2 on average per game not including laze tag which is 10 per person per game. Total tip off.
Game prices a little, a few of the games would not work but staff refunded game credits happily. Tumble great for your littles.
A little expensive, but still really fun! The highlight was the Lazer tag! Definitely recommend for families with school age children!
Lots of games to keep the kids (and adults) entertained.
Half the machines are down and doesn't work not worth it and will not return your money if you have money left on the card
Many great arcade games!
30% of the games where broke or not working. Had a lady just standing at the front desk talking to the receptionist\ associate. She did nothing but distract the associate from customers when customers were present and annoyed the customers. What horrible customer service.
Was ok experience need newer games and better prizes and would have spent more but we got bored . Have to say the bathroom was cleaner than the one in my room...
Dirty beds, sauce and dark hair clumps on the sheets, only one pillow cover on the pillows, no toilet paper, 1/3 a roll left on holder, towels where dinghy, one smelled like must, Fun Center had 13 broken non-usable games, buffet had dirty forks with clean forks, this casino has potential but desperately needs managers with better quality control.
A really great place for kids to have fun, play games and parents or guardians can sit and rest while keeping an eye on the kids
Great place to take my kids they had a lot of fun. The attendant Tyler was pretty nice and helpful to me.
The arcade was expensive, half the games dont work, the ticket payouts are low, and the prizes aren't great or great quality.
My kids always have a great time. They have expanded quite a bit but could still use some upgrades.
it 20 dollars for my two kiddos but they love it. perfect for when its to cold or to hot outside for the park
They've got new games, laser tag, and bumper cars. So much fun!
took my nephew for a night out and we had fun. bumper cars, video games and games to win prizes. it was fun.
Great place for kids to play at. You don't get any of the smoke from the casino above...unlike circus circus.
Nice and clean arcade area, would recommend this place over circus circus for the kiddos.
Great place to let our daughter go have fun. Also good for birthday parties.
Had a really great time with my boyfriend definitely a great date night spot for gamers?
Was great for the kids. 5 year old and 3 year old. Even teens there's things to do
Kind of overpriced compared to The Peppermill and it has pretty bad prices.Laser tag is in a pretty small arena.
Half the machines were broken and I had to go up twice to ask for my money back. Go to circus circus at least all thr machines work and you get a show inbetween
It is fun, but it is more expensive every time, short staffed, and many games just steal your money.
Good amount of games but so many didn't work or I'd give 5 stars. Friendly employees too.
My bestie and I love playing at the arcade. We played pinball game and the really big connect four game.
Funnest VR experience I've had in a while. Go solo, or take a group either way its a BLAST
Great place for kids huge play area. Birthday party rooms too.
My kid actually was healed from being in a wheelchair his whole life. That's how amazing this place is
Great options for games but I feel they are priced higher than they should.
Love this place! I'm a local and the GSR is one of our favorite family destinations
Little construction and older kids causing some issues but still fun!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
