We had a blast here! Great place for a birthday party. Clean restrooms, super friendly staff and very affordable. Get the kids off the screens and get them moving and skating!!!

My husband and I took our church youth group on a Saturday night. $17 to skate- plus unlimited fountain drinks and pizza. Great deal, and the kids had a great time. Super friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Took my grown son and grandsons rollerskating here a month ago and just spent today there again. My son learned how to skate here about 40 years ago. New management is great and it's quite a walk down memory lane and great fun to see my grandchildren enjoying this sport. I recommend giving your children/grandchildren the thrill of rollerskating. You can't beat the experience. Maybe even have a birthday party there!!

The new management is AMAZING. Our daughter's party was absolutely perfect. We had the most attentive party host and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure she had the best experience and felt celebrated. I highly recommend having a party here under this new management.

The fun galaxy was a nostalgic time for me. I loved the 90s feel. The establishment is cash only so that was a surprise to me. Especially since I called before coming and inquired about pricing payment etc. The customer service was not good overall. The bathrooms weren't clean, and I wasn't a fan of how the bathroom doesn't have a sink in it. You had to wash your hands out on the floor. I had an amazing experience at Fun Galaxy Athens! We had 2 birthday boys, turning 5 and 7. The day turned out to be super challenging due to delays in traffic. From the time I entered the facility to the very second we left, the staff got to work helping me prepare for the arrival if my boys, family, and friends. Brooklyn was the absolute best, and went above and beyond to assist me. The party was a blast. Highly recommend.

This was the third time we had a birthday party for our child and once again the staff was tremendous. They made sure everything was ready for us and that we had everything we needed. They checked in with us periodically to see what we needed. A great experience as always.

Had my son's 10th birthday party here. We had a wonderful time. Our party hostess Tammy and the manager exceeded our expectations. They went above and beyond to make our party special. Not a bad facility but most of the employees are rude. Prices seem a little on the high side and the skate assist things were literally coming apart (even tho you paid $5) when the kids were using them and the music was so loud you couldn't converse at all or even hear your children speak to you.

Ok...so this place should maybe change it's name to MRSA HOUSE, because as every other roller skating rink in America, it hasn't changed anything (or cleaned anything for that matter) since it was built in 1980. Just went with my young family for the first time. We felt the facility was great, had no issues with the cash pay, and even got a complimentary stroller for our baby so he could participate. The whole experience would have been a blast but I am leaving this review to say the music was so incredibly loud that it unfortunately overshadowed the fun. Our children could not even hear us speaking to them and it was very overstimulating for everyone. Again, otherwise awesome but way too loud.

Very nostalgic, almost identical to my youth. Pretty sure it's the same carpet. The concessions are not what they were in my day, but times change. My kids had a blast. We had a birthday party for our daughter here and they did a fantastic job!!! Donna took care of everything and made sure the party ran totally smoothly. As the mom of the birthday girl, I didn't have to worry about anything and I could actually just enjoy skating myself. The newly finished floors are so nice and smooth. 10/10!

Awesome place! I've been skating here for about 5 years now and it just keeps getting better! They recently replaced the floor and it feels super smooth! This was one of the best nights out I've had in quite some time. The rink was clean and the service was top notch. I loved having the entire rink to myself, was able to practice some fun moves. Roller derby girl here! I've frequently skated at Fun Galaxy Athens for almost a year now. The floor is wood and hasn't been polished in while (which is good!). I weigh 180 and 93a wheels work nicely on this surface. I currently use a morty setup with two Boom X-Firm and two Boom XX-Firms on each skate. The carpet and fixtures look a bit dated, but the A/C and heat works great during normal business hours. I can't say much about the snacks cuz I don't eat that stuff but they do have a large eat

Very rarely do I plan a party and actually get to enjoy it but OMG, thanks to Donna and the staff I didn't have to worry about a single thing except having a great time!! Today I had a bad experience in this place, the front desk lady was rude, unpleasant, and discriminative. I brought my 2boys to skate, she wanted me to pay 14$ for my 18-month-old baby, when I told her he was not skating she said that's our rule. My daughter celebrated her Birthday last weekend at Fun Galaxy Athens. I cannot say enough good things about their staff and how they handled her party! We had our daughters 4th birthday party there today and Ms. Donna and everyone there were so helpful with everything. I loved how she jumped in to help take control of the crowd so that everything went as planned. She kept everything running smoothly, helped with every detail and both my husband and I are very thankful for all of her help and her being so kind while doing so.

Attended our schools skate night. We love our school but will never come back here. This place has the worst service. The manager has one of the worst attitudes. She was so rude to parents and to kids who were just there to have fun. The skating floor was in need of repair in several places and their music system needs an overhaul as it kept going out through the night. For a person who loves to skate, this was a terrible experience and I will never come back.

We come here often and usually have a great time. On a few occasions I've felt that management could do more to get the unruly children or twerking teenagers in line, but I'm also pretty understanding and I'd never hold it against the place as a whole. We love Fun Galaxy!

Lousy experience having a birthday party here, staff rushed us out of the party area as quick as possible, charged us extra for ridiculous things like one of our guests bringing in their own water. It was overpriced for a 2 hour party to begin with but for the price they don't make it a great time. Breast cancer awareness skate party 2022 was a success! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price for a private party was very reasonable. The staff here is excellent! All the kids AND adults had a blast a the birthday party we had here. The place was very clean and reasonably priced. I had my daughter's 8th birthday here and it was fantastic. We had a private party on a Sunday and had about 70 people total -38 kids. The owner was very helpful and easy to work with. Really fun atmosphere and for all the young kids that couldn't skate the walkers were a hit! Several of her friends have already said they want their parties here. And you can't beat the price for unlimited invites! It would have cost me a small fortune for that many kids at other birthday venues in Athens.

We booked a party for our 7 year old and it was so much fun! We did ?On the Cheap? and got a table for bringing our birthday cake and balloons. That got 10 kids admission and skates and two adults. We came out today for the first time and had so much fun! The staff greeted us like we were family and the guy at the skate window was friendly and put up with us not really knowing our sizes, because well, roller skates never fit like your shoes. The only complaint is the hardwood needs a good cleaning all the tape and glue and what looked like gum really can trip you up. It's a cool place to take the kids and let them get some energy out! They love it!! Some of the staff is friendly and some not so much but you learn who is and who isn't and just try to stay away from the ones that are not as people friendly. Otherwise I would give it a 5 star.
