Fun Factory is one of those places that's just always been there. If you grew up on Maui, chances are you've spent a few afternoons here burning through tokens and trying to win something way too expensive for the ticket count. Now I'm bringing my own kid ? and honestly, it's still a blast. It's loud, it's bright, it's chaos ? and kids love it. Mine could spend hours in there jumping from game to game, swiping that card like a high-roller at Vegas. There's just enough of the old-school stuff mixed in with
We had some time to kill between switching from camping to a hotel, so we stopped into Fun Factory - and we had so much fun! This isn't a huge arcade, but it had exactly what we needed and we made $40 last for about an hour. We were super happy with our prizes, too! I've never seen Sailor Moon in an arcade before, and my husband found a pikachu he really liked. The best part of our visit, though, was Rick. He was very kind and friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with him for a bit. He gave us food recommendat
Avoid the DDR machine. The DDR machine doesn't have a way to change levels, so it's stuck at beginner. apparently it's been complained a lot from prior customers. I went to ask an employee for help but he said he couldn't refund the credits it sucked up. Management should put up a sign or a least refund credits if this has happened to multiple customers. I was willing to pay to play, but feels bad to just have your money taken away and not even get the chance to play Otherwise just small games around, noth
My son and I love going to Fun Factory. The games are great and it's always clean and lively, but not too packed. The only reason I won't give it 5 stars is because I wish we got more bang for our buck. $100 worth of tokens last about an hour to an hour and a half.
First time at fun factory. It was SUPER clean, and not busy. The employee there was extremely nice, spoke to my son, and was really helpful. Thank you for the experience ! We will be back!
Clean, not crowded, good prises. Staff was friendly.
This was a good fun stop for the kids. It was smaller than it looked from the outside. But the kids had a good time! The prizes were reasonable too!
This place is just another arcade scamming people. I've experienced many different arcades in my lifetime and I've got to say, fun factory was one of the worst. They make every machine that has the possibility of a payout, have a payout. Also the place is crazy expensive. If you really expect to bring home something good with $20 here, think again. Most games have high scores set super high to where by no means is possible to beat or hit the jackpot and every skill claw has a huge overbite in the claw. Not
My gf and I stopped by to play some games. They have a lot of diverse games and a varied ticket redemptions station. I was able to win a few claw games and we won enough tickets to get some Knick knacks, and took some Photo Booth pictures. All in all it was a fun experience. Would recommend giving them a try.
The staff here is amazing. So nice. We loved the special celebration where we got double points and cookies and donuts!! Amazing place
It's a great place to play games at, but I miss some games they removed long time ago like House of The Dead and many more.
Who doesnt love Fun Factory? It's conveniently placed next to the theater, there's always lots of parking at the mall, and there are several places to catch a bite to eat (or grab dessert) nearby. I know many local families take advantage of the party deals, and they have a nice area where you can bring food if you're taking advantage of the aforementioned party deals. They also provide nice incentives for kids who do well with their grades. I've had one or two not-so-great interactions with the staff, but
They have DDR and it's the only one on island
Lots of fun with a wide variety of games. New games are added once in a while, too. My kids love it!
The big claw experience.. we offered to let employees fluff...bug the mean guy pushed all the good prizes all the way in the back....and he pushed all the small prizes hard to the ground so the claw didn't work anymore... we almost won the prize but he didn't fix it..he made it more difficult... how lame. On a Tuesday
Oh Gosh! Tons of fun. The games are fair, easily won in a few hard tries. The atmosphere is the best. Families and friends of all ages.
We love fun factory, Storm is always so nice to my child and always goes above and beyond.
First time going since covid and I'm very impressed on how well they keep it clean. There was one employee take walked around and he would sanitize the games. Like always lots of games to play and lots of fun for the kids.
Excellent place for all ages! Outstanding staff, too! Clean games! Birthday party venue for the young at heart! Ever Virgin Most Powerful Blessed Mother of God Mary triumph and reign!
Love this location! Staff was very helpful, showed me how to register my token card which was awesome. My kid loves this spot, frequent visitors.
Friendly helpful staff. Lots of fun and variety of things to do. Wish it were bigger and more seating areas.
I cannot recommend this place enough for kids, I remember this from 20+ years ago when I was 5. We came here almost every year and I loved it. I am too poor to be in Maui any longer but this place will always be great to me. If you are thinking about it go do it. This place was always cherished by all.
I was killing time before our flight. We had to drop off rental car at 8am and our flight was at 9pm. Movie next door refused let us in. The fun factory held our bags and we're very nice
Fun place for kids. Costs allot of money to load ur card and u don't really know if the machines are taking more than the real cost. Allot of machines don't work and toys are very cheap..
My kids loved it! We spent the first $30 in less than 10 minutes, but they had lots of fun
Love this place! Perfect for the kids (and the adults too ;) ). Great for parties, or simple visits. If you are searching for a place to have some fun, then this is the place to go!
If you need to get rid of money quickly, but don't want to actually set it on fire Fun Factory is here for you. I like the coin push game ??
Good variety of games, generous with the tickets and the prizes were actually something worthwhile. Clean place, friendly staff.
We stopped here when we cruised into Maui. Lots of fun games but it was the super kind staff that made it a wonderful stop for my kids. Mahalo!
Super Fun"Kayden" 8th birthday party was a great experience. Please book your children Birthday Party here!!!
Was great staff was awesome except for Dereck seems be a bit rude just thrown the token card and candy
Fun games, clean place and the staff has always been very kind and generous to my kids.
What a waste of money so tokens are .25 but the cheapest games are 4 tokens but are most games6 or 7 tokens each so you will blow through $50 in all of 20 min. Never again
Always a bunch of fun ways to test your skill and lose money lol! I wish they had some of the old school arcade games so that we could show our kids.
Birthday parties are easy. Good deal. Wish they could rotate games a bit more often.
5 year old and 38 year old both had an amazing time. All games in good repair, good prizes too
It's a great place for kids, and Maybe Some adults. I was there for a relatives Birthday party.
Fun for the whole family, adult games, kids games, family (meaning 2 at a time)rides kind of but fun..
Good games and a very fun place to play. Also, a good place for a birthday party.
I think the Magic Arrow game is the coolest game there is.
Its a really fun place, you can make great memories there, highely suggested
This place is a kids dream but price is a parent nightmare. All the games are very expensive
Got lots of new games since I went. Very addictive
Much better now that they expanded. Some of the machines are broken, but they're quick to respond and really friendly.
Car go vroom maximum tune5dx is fire
Fun Factory Maui Mall has added a bunch of games, entertainment, and prizes.
This arcade is small and machine is outdated. Not recommended at all.
We also have fun at fun factory!
Fun place to take your family and have a party.
Very good deals kids and adults love it!
super nice employees and super clean!!! a little on the pricier side though!
Fun Factory Maui Mall is a good place for your kids.
So much to do, my son had a panic attack. Lol.

It is really for I love it
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
