Fun Central Inc

Fun Central Inc

Reviews Summary

Fun Central offers a mix of experiences with strengths in family entertainment but inconsistent service and maintenance. The jungle gym, laser tag, and mini golf are popular with kids, while the arcade has frequent broken games. Food quality varies from surprisingly good to disappointing, with pizza and wings mentioned often. Cleanliness is hit-or-miss, with some noting sticky surfaces. Staffing shortages lead to long waits and frustrated customers, though some employees are praised for being helpful. Best for young children, but older kids may find limited appeal. Pricing is seen as fair for combos but high for individual games. A decent option for casual outings, but expectations should be tempered.

Clean, fun and friendly environment. Planning to have a fun day with the kids plan to have a good meal while you're there. Lots of variety, buffalo chicken salad was delicious. Portions are large and the kids combo for $4.99 includes free entrance to the jungle gym area.

The children love the place it has an arcade, laser tag, mini golf, and jungle gym. Pizza is okay. An ice cream buffet the children love to put their toppings on.

Kids had a lot of fun and there was a lot to do. Prices were reasonable and food was good. Real burgers! Brooklyn was very helpful and patient with my kids. Will definitely be back! ??

A fun place for familys to have fun& get some lunch. Just sucks that if the games aren't ripping you off money bc they only work half ass, they're ripping you off tickets.. I spend $1.80 on a game that was apparently broke and didnt want to wait in a very busy line to get yet again another refund. Maintenance the equipment that makes yall the most money!

Always good for a fun time. My family enjoys going. A bonus as it is great motivation for that day you want to get the house cleaned! Playing the ticket games can be a bit pricey, but not too bad. The laser tag is fun and every time we have gone it was just the 5 of us which is how we like to role. The gym area is a favorite as well. Chicken wings are really good (lots of flavors) as is their pizza.

I have sensory issues so there was a bit too much stimulation for me. Other than that Alot like Chucky cheese now is. but this place has golf and Lazer tag and stuff I tried here before at a birthday party but not this trip. My son's too small it does have a nice gym for small kids but we did get to do it this time. I think it would be better than the games part with all the sensory overload devices. Place seemed clean but staff limited any time u needed to do anything you had to wait awhile for staff. From

Things seemed to be very sticky. There was no more soap in the woman's restroom, and the restroom had a foul odor. Some of the games charged the card and said ready to play, but did not dispense the balls to be able to play. Multiple things were not working such as ice cream machines, games, and ATMs.

Great place to take your children to. Employee's are very nice. Your children can play in the jungle gym while you read a book, enjoy a magazine or like to browse through your phone. The food is good and the price is fair given that the grunge gym is so cheap. They also have an arcade to enjoy games, mini golf and laser tag for the whole family to enjoy!

I took my son last weekend and he loved it so much. Great place a lot of things for older kids to do if they don't want to play in the jungle gym area.

The kid's play area was probably the best part of the building. Little ones seemed to have a lot of fun, and it didn't cost much for entry - Easy for people to come here daily with their child and some friends. Aside from that, like I've seen some others commented, the arcade end needs a little work and there isn't too much of a highlight area I'd experienced otherwise, except maybe Laser Tag (I didn't go in, but it looked interesting). Some machines are down for the count. Some are minorly cracked. Some ea

This is an awesome place to take your kids...even to get a break! Lol they can play in the jungle gym area and burn off energy while you sit n supervise them. Most of the time I'm in there playing with them though. Lol but the arcade is great and we love the glow-in-the-dark mini golf. My oldest boy really enjoys the laser tag. I've had a few bday parties here for my children and it's nice how they run it although your kinda pressed for time and it's stressful trying to fit everything in on a 2 hour time sc

Great place overall for young kids. Great deals, we went on a day with free play area with kids meal purchased. If I had to pick a negative I'd probably go with cleanliness, it seems common for kids play zones. But again, well priced, friendly staff, keeps the kids entertained for hours. We will be back thank you!

This was our first time at Fun Central and we will definitely be going back! We live 40 minutes away, but the kids were asking when the next time we could go again on the way home! The prices were great! The food was delicious! The customer service was impeccable! The ENTIRE place is clean! The bathrooms were super impressive and my daughter and I love the fun touch of pink stalls! What a gem that we've been passing by for years! Don't hesitate stopping by the next time you're in town! Even just for a bite

This was the perfect place to stop on our road trip along I-80. The location is just off of the freeway and the play area gave our toddler a chance to run around and have fun after spending hours cooped up in the car. The space was very clean and well organized. There's a larger play area for older children and a smaller space at ground level for younger toddlers, which was perfect for our 1 year old. The food was delicious and very affordable. Our family had such a wonderful time at Fun Central and we will

Visiting family in Clearfield and it was a rainy day so we came here. This place is so fun, lots to do?. And the lady that works here is so pleasant and is literally running the place alone and doing a great job. You would never know

How can you not love this place. Good food and a great indoor play facility.

The food was edible for the most part and if you're on the road, it is a great place for kids to play. No WiFi was a downer and the place could really use a good cleaning.

I have 4 kids, ages ranging from 3 to 9. They all had a blast coming here as there was something to do for everyone. I've been to many arcades from many different states and this is by far the best clean kept arcade I've ever been to. It even smells nice. There's a fabulous back room for mini golf that features a pirate black light set up. And they have Lazer tag as well. Unfortunately we didn't get to play Lazer tag because the computer was down but I won't hold it against them as we were compensated for o

Had to leave an hour after arriving because a birthday party with about 15 preteen/teenagers arrived. This party was not supervised by any staff, and were rambunctious enough we were worried our smaller children were going to get hurt. Spoke to the staff who pretty much shrugged at me.

Had a great time for a decent price. Clean environment, staff was nice and food was good. If you take younger toddlers, keep in mind that mini golf is in the dark (ours were too scared to play??).

Been here a few times, the arcade is fun and the staff is friendly. Kids will have lots of fun in the playground area. On top of all that, the food is pretty good too.

Amazing experience. Great prices and friendly staff. I will come back again.

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice facility. My 7 yr old had hours of fun. Maybe have more people working, but the employees did great for the crowd size. Update 11-11-24 I got there at 11 am and was promptly let in. The ONE employee was a saint! I wish I had people that were incredibly competent, and cared like her. Friendly smile every customer during a real busy period. You can't teach poise. Not long wait times due to the multitude of tasks the young lady accomplished.

Great atmosphere. Great food menu. Reasonable entrance prices for the play area, and just enough games to have fun. It gets a little crowded/loud on the weekends with the birthday parties.

I had my daughter there a month ago and we had a BLAST eating pizza and ice cream and even had alot of fun playing Skeet ball and some mini-golf. Very friendly and respectful workers.

Always a really fun time and the kids love the play area

Never coming back rude !!! I don't care you had my kid crying so and I had the money yesterday to pay and know one said to pay so I never knew that sorry have a great day

The kids had such a great time! Staff were courteous and very customer oriented. One staff even came and found us in the game area just to let us know our food was ready. (As he saw I had 5 children with me). Appreciate having something to do in our area. Thanks for the great evening!

Attempted to purchase one of their $20 game cards to play games at a birthday party for my partner?s younger sister. The machine gave me an error, and did not give me a card. The manager said the charge on my card that sat as pending after that transaction would not go through, and so relieved by this, and afraid to use the machine again, I bought a card in cash for $20, which lasted like 5 minutes in their arcade. My bank account ended up being charged and I called to ask why that happened and the manager

I don't care kids or not this place wasn't busy at all and we waited for over 45 minutes for a pizza and when I asked about it Brook said well I wasn't told anything about a pizza, so we had to wait forever again for the pizza that was already paid for, they wasn't willing to give money back or accommodate for nothing. Very bad attitudes.

From mini golf, to laser tag, this place has it all!!! My friend and I had so much fun we didn't want to leave. We will be back very soon. They surely put the fun in fun central!

Great jungle gym & arcade. Cheap tickets(charged by age ), my 3 yr old was $6. It gets expensive quick over at the arcade. Always watch your children!! Its not a daycare, PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR KIDS&NOT YOUR PHONES!! Great staff, food wasn't really good. Decent sized area. You can book parties here. Mini golf&laser tag over in arcade , pay separate.

I booked a birthday party for my son, for 2 hours, 11am-1pm. We could be there 15 minutes early to decorate. We had to start cleaning up at 12:50 to be out of there at exactly 1pm. I was told this information right as the party was starting. I believe they should give you the 15 minutes after the party to clean up. Also, the first 30 minutes of the party one of the doors was stuck to the party room so they called maintenance man to have it fixed mind you, there was another door. I asked a gentleman if he co

Taco salad and buffalo salad were very, very good! I was surprised how good the food and service was especially for a kids place. Go there for a date and keep the kids with a babysitter! HA!

The boys an the wifey an i haf an absolute blast surprised them with a sponteaneous fun trip an was worth it

Good place to take the kids! Great food, friendly staff, numerous games, and the jungle gym keeps them busy for the most part.... Great experience every time we go here ??

Very clean. Excellent pizza. Laser tag, mini gulf, lots of video games...skeeball. jungle gym for younger kids. Even though there was only 1 person working whole thing...she was Excellent! No customers waited overly long for what we needed and she smiled the whole time. All customers seemed happy. She is a rare breed in today's world, unfortunately. I made sure to tip her a little extra and left wishing I had given her more. She made our visit worthwhile, more than just the fun we had watching our

Nice, reasonably priced place to take little kids for indoor play. Also great for birthday parties. The employees are mostly high schoolers, but good at their jobs and at dealing with little kids. There's a fairly high rate of arcade games that are out of order, and I think too expensive, especially compared to other chain arcades, and you don't get much for your tickets. But the mini golf is amazing for indoor, painted really cool - and just the fact that it's indoor is great for our seasons. Glad to have

May 2021 Jungle gym best for ages 3-8 years old. Older children enjoyed the 15 minutes laser tag and arcade. No you don't win tickets for all of the games. There is also 9 hole putt-putt mini golf. Each alone is $6 per child however there is always combo deals. My group of 4 children did laser tag and mini golf, one game of each for $44. Then gave each $10 towards Arcade games and earned free $2 bonus per card. Total was $84 and they played for little over 2 hours. Enjoyed it more than Chuck-E- Cheese. Qui

My kids love it here. If your looking for something affordable to do with the family this place is great. Their is an indoor play are for kids on one side and a arcade on the other. Also indoor par 9 putt putt...(mini golf course) and laser tag. We did the golf. It is pirate theme and black light...glow in the dark. Everything was affordable. They have food. We usually get a large pizza. The food has always been good.

Had a blast in the arcade with my sister and all the kiddos!!! The kids absolutely loved the jumbo jungle gym. We enjoyed the glow inthe dark mini golf as well. Didn't get to do lazer tag though sure that be a blast. Already ate prior to going maybe next time we will try the food. Though it was still a great time of family fun!!!!

Delicious food and great prices. A wonderful place close to home for the kids to be able to play safely and get their energy out!

This place is fantastic for kids, but they desperately need more seating areas for adults. It gets HOT and there's only 2 benches in the play room.

While driving 10+ hours we stopped with our 4yo 2yo and newborn to blow of some energy. Best stop ever. Clean, friendly staff, reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone with kids to go and have fun. If we ever pass through his area again, we will definitely stop by.

Fun and friendly atmosphere. My kids loved playing there in the gym area plus they have a game room and the mini golf is a lot of fun. The food is hit or miss but that's kind of expected with these types of businesses

A good and cheap way to tire out your kids and have fun yourself. The jungle gym is always a hit with kids and food there is ok, don't expect 5 star quality but it suppresses the hunger. The ice cream station is always good. Mini golf and laser tag use to be fun when I was younger.

They finally updated the games area and removed stuff that I know hasn't worked in the 8 years I've lived in the area. Games are a little pricey imo for what you get in return. Food is ok, just a little expensive. I think they use peanut oil for deep frying cause I get the farts every time I eat something fried there. The jungle gym could use an update. Not going to complain though because there is almost nothing to do in this area for kids, especially in the middle of winter.

Great place for families! But with Lazer Tag & Mini Golf, it great for couples or a group of friends. The pizza was good. That's so we had. Party room were small though. All in all, a great time! Would go back again & recommend it to friends.

Great place for kids, clean and sanitized ,well spaced ,helpful staff

The kids loved it. I asked my 7-yr old what was the best part of the play area and she said "All of it!"

Great place to bring the kid's..the food is surprisingly good. Decent amount of games to play..they have game card specials and daily food specials. Usually spend 2 hrs eating and playing games..can be very busy when they have birthday parties, which usually is on the weekends. Most nights is a handful of people and you have no wait to play games or ordering food. Laser tag, mini golf, kids soft play area and video games, so something for everyone.

Update from visiting 4 months ago..Our family spends New Year Eve here.. We hold my nieces birthday party there that night for she was born, New Years Day.. We have been doing this for years.. We also attend the Easter Hunt as well. They did away with the tickets from the games.. The new card system is A lot better. Great place for kids.. Food is great. Clean bathrooms.

We literally spent 7 hours at fun central. We spent $80 and played games all day and night! We played laser tag, which was a BLAST! We also played mini golf..it was a beautiful environment! I posted several pics of the golf area! Love this place! Staff was amazing! Great place for the whole family!!

Brought my twelve year old niece and her boyfriend & 6 year old niece to Fun Central after it reopened after going "green phase." The employees were super nice and very accommodating. Everything was very clean, and it was obvious they care a lot about the business and the kids having fun.

Our first time to Fun Central. It was a bit smaller than we had expected but we still had a good time, the kids liked the Lazer Tag, the adults did a round of Putt-putt, which is one of the better mini golf courses we've been to in a long while. At the end the kids liked the prizes they got.

My children think it's fun. The play area is their favorite. The arcade on the other hand is not very fun. Majority of the games do not work and the ones that do work are kind of wonky. The establishment is pretty well clean. Food is decent but I didnt expect it to be amazing. If the arcade was attended to more I would give this place 5 stars.

Staff was friendly, but things were dirty. The gym area smelled of urine, the bathrooms had garbage on the floors. There was an empty Coolwhip container and some rags under the ice cream topping area The games could definitely benefit from a wiping. About 1/3 of the games weren't working. Staff was good about reimbursing. Our children had fun, but it was straight to the tub when we got home!

We had an awesome birthday experience here! The staff knew the packages well, were able to explain all the different options, and clearly laid out the timeline for the day. It was great and so hassle free! We'll be back for more indoor kid fun very soon! I recommend Fun Central for all kids, especially if your family is blended with younglings! The only thing I would want more of, is more games for olders- pinball, space invaders, a fighting game, even Pac-Man would be great for everyone! We all had a gr

I promised my kids we could stop here on the way home. Googled their hours. Said 9pm. We walked in the building at 7:40. A woman with long straight brown hair in a ponytail (wish I'd have gotten her name) stopped my kids and myself on the way to the play area, and said "Ma'am, we close in 20 minutes." I said "Oh.. sorry Google said 9pm and the door said 9pm." She said, "not when we don't have anyone here." Mind you, my sister and her 2 kids were with us. I have 4 kids, so that'd have been 6 kids that would

The pizza was good. The play area was huge! The games were fun and reasonably prices. The prizes aren't worth it, though. That's my only real complaint.

It was a clean and very pleasant environment. First time there in many years. I got a package deal pizza and wings with a game card. Unfortunately the wings were over cooked. There was 3 people at the table and no one cared for the wings. Flavor was good but was dried out and hard. But there was only one guy working the entire place. U cant spread one person that thin

What a gem! If I had just gone based on the website I probably wouldn't have tried going, it could use a bit of an update. But we needed something for our 23 month-old to do after a long car ride. So happy we went! We might even go back before we head out again. Food was a decent price, and our less-than-2 year old was free to play! If we ever pass through again we'll definitely stop in again!!

The jungle gym was ripped up in the one area. Half the games never work. I like the idea, but its a pretty depressing child center. Our kids like to go and its close to home but its definitely not my top pick. Id personally rather drive an hour.

The employees were very nice and worked their tails off. The venue kept my children busy for hours. It was very clean inside and I did enjoy the ice cream sundae bar!

We took our 6 yo neighbor here a few weeks ago. The jungle gym is in decent condition, and pretty large. My husband and I were able to play with her in it with very little problem. The laser tag was a blast and the mini golf has a great pirate theme. They also have a decent amount of games to pick from, but the prizes are in the pretty high range for tickets needed. Our only issue was it took FOREVER for the employees to come to the desk to check in. I waited for at least 5 minutes each time we needed to ch

We love Fun Central. It's very affordable, the food is delicious and the staff is always friendly. Its super clean and a place we feel is safe for kids. We've had events there, including birthday parties and they are always so much fun.

Fettuccine Alfredo was insanely delicious! I will return just to order this again. My daughter had a blast but the prizes were cheesy. Staff was MIA Returning this weekend and possibly booking my daughters n day party.

This place is great the staff if helpful and friendly. My grandson loves that I can play with him. We enjoyed everything but some of the rides that took money were not working made him said.

Had our daughter's birthday party there. There was only one person working in the entire place so we had to constantly wait like 20+ minutes to ask or do the laser tag or anything. The one game they liked playing the most (considering a lot were out of order) had a note on it that it ripped you off two tickets every time and then it ran out of tickets halfway through them getting their tickets they won and I had to wait 20 minutes just to let the worker know and she said she would fix it and then about anot

The play area is great for kids to run off steam. It's very spacious and there is so much to climb on. The only thing I didn't like too much was that there are vehicles (car, bus, horse, helicopter and carousel) that move/do songs for 50 cents/ride in that area to tempt the kids to beg to go on.

The mini golf artwork was amazing!!! Really cute for little kids. The arcade was small and a lot of the machines were out of order. But in all if you want to play 9 holes of mini golf it's cute!!!

We took our granddaughter last Sunday. Entering the store ,it smelled like an old camp. There were two girls working, but only one was attending to customers. The other one was coloring at a table. So this created a wait for service. Right away we noticed the floors, the chairs, and the seats were sticky.Gross!! The food we ordered was disgusting. The chef must of used old yeast in the pizza crust and bread sticks, cause it did not rise, and was gummy. He served it anyways. The grease was old so the wings were

Brooklyn and kensley had several attitudes with me the whole time I was here and I had to wait over 45 mins for my pizza bc kensley didn't tell Brooklyn I put an order in

I wish I could say I liked this place. It has potential, but...... We had to wait five minutes while the workers talked till we could even get service. We went to the restaurant side and our food was good, but my father in law's was completely wrong. It has potential, but the employees bring this place's ratings down.

Went there yesterday December 29th for 4 hours ended up spending $200. 95 of it was on food Wings was over cooked came off in small shard 1 stuck on the left side of throat and still there today will recommend they not cook them so long the next time I get them because they are good. The kids had a blast

Many games overpriced. Several are out of order but there are not as many games out of order as their used to be. Been going there since 2014 and that bowling game in the corner by skee ball has never worked, it takes up a lot of space and should have been removed a long time ago in my opinion. Food is ok, but haven't eaten much there. The biggest problem is that it is understaffed, especially on busy weekend days. Usually there are only 2 people working that I have seen on those days lately. The girl who

Super place to bring the kiddos to blow off some steam. If they just do soft play its a pretty cheap evening. They also have a top your own ice cream thing that my daughter loves!

We take our granddaughter there. She has a blast , her words " my most favorite place ever" That's what counts. Even though staffing needs bumped up ""not their fault "" those workers busted their humps. Zero complaints

The last 2 times I have been here the place has really went down hill. This trip for example has at least a third of the games are out of order. The teen age work force is not very customer oriented and one actually told my wife to find someone else who wasn't busy to help her when she had an issue with a malfunctioning game, eventually rolling her eyes before getting someone finally. The customers shouldn't be an inconvenience. I am done giving this place fist fulls of money for no return. The only reason

Worst trip ever. Spent alot of money no one was actually working there. Machines and games were mostly broken. Had 7 kid's and 4 adults we were going to eat and have some fun. But we were rushed out at 8.30 . The kid's play area was exspensive and so dark you could barely see the kid's. Getting pictures was impossible. We won't be going back anytime soon. Don't count on the posted hour's they don't actually go by them.

My grandson's 6th birthday party. We had lots of fun. Wore all kids out! Pizza was good. After that, that's when we went to McDonalds & got ripped off!

Nice small arcade with laser tag and blacklight mini golf. I've been here a few times and have enjoyed myself thoroughly. The food is actually really good and decently priced.

It's a great place to hold Birthday parties, or just let the kids release some energy. Alot of games and decent jungle gym. The golf and laser tag keep the older kids content.

We love bringing our toddler to climb on the gym area. It's great because it's large enough to accommodate adults so you can actually help the little ones figure out what to do.

Kids had fun but not enough staff to help you with cashing tickets, purchasing food or cashing in Pa Skills tickets! We wasted alot of time trying to find someone then you need to shout back to the pizza worker who was busy. Sad to see the place providing poor customer service.

There is so many ups and downs to this place. First of all it is fun to go and play acrade games and win prizes and have a good time. But the service is so slow. You half to wait forever for somebody to come to the counter and you half to wait forever for food. But the food is definitely worth the wait. Its delicious. They have gryos and cotton candy and other delicious goods. Its a bit pricey though but I have always have a good time.

I think this place is an ok experience, it is a bit pricy but the jungle gym area was really cool. The gaming area had a lot of games broken and out of order also the ice cream toppings were very stale. Another issue was that at the time only one person was working So he was all over the place; in this area in that area, taking money, giving tickets and then cooking people's food; that was a turn off.

I took my grandsons for a fun night out.. unfortunately some other machines were not working properly and we mentioned it to the kids in charge.. they put an out of order sign on it but did not replace our money spent..

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?
